Chloe is 10/10 one of the best tattoo artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I went to her with a budget, told her to choose any flash of hers she wanted and told her I didn’t care where she put it. Not only did she meet my expectations but she blew them away. She chose a design that flowed well with what I already have and the placement was perfect. Shes so good I did not feel it at all. The healing was painless and quick too. Will be definitely seeing her again.

Chloe is one of the best fine line tattoo artists in Connecticut. I have been tattooed by her on two different occasions. Both trips to Brass City Tattoo were a great experience all around.I presented to her an idea to help me make a memorial sleeve. I wanted zodiac constellations as well as hand writing included in each constellation. In the future when we are full of constellations and hand writing, we will add appropriate filler.Chloe takes her time in drawing up your tattoo, of course making sure you like absolutely everything about it. While tattooing her hand is beyond gentle and you wouldnt even know she is tattooing you. Her tattoo area itself brings amazing energy and is such an inviting environment. Everything about her area and how she preps everything to go on your skin is also extremely hygienic. There is never any judgment when you are getting tattooed by Chloe. The conversation flows and she frequently will ask if you are okay throughout your whole tattooing process. Pricing is also beyond fair, especially for some amazing fine line!The shop itself has such an amazing vibe to it as well. Everyone is always so helpful, friendly, inviting, and down to earth. My partner and i have been getting tattooed by chloe since she was an apprentice and she’s extremely talented. i highly recommend her if you’re interested in fine line tattoos. she has a ton of beautiful flash to choose from and also does incredible custom pieces. she’s also very sweet and funny and creates a very welcoming, nonjudgmental environment. i included a pic of one of my partner’s most recent tattoos done by her. if fine line isn’t your thing, the rest of the artists at brass city are incredibly talented as well.

Amazing shop!! It’s clean, has a great vibe and the staff are all extremely friendly. I became a client here because I “followed” Chloe from her former shop- I drive over an hour (and pass countless shops on the way) specifically to get tattooed by Chloe!! I have never gotten a tattoo and felt as comfortable as I have, with her. Her work speaks for itself and her energy is unmatched!

Chloe is a top notch tattoo artist!! Not only in her art but in the environment she creates. She allows people to feel comfortable, she’s extremely hygienic and she checks in often not to mention she creates the most beautiful lines! I have several tattoos by Chloe, some being 3+ years old and they have all aged very well. Joseph upfront is also a dream and makes booking very easy!

I followed Chloe on social media sometime during the pandemic and fell in love with her work. I walked in one night for an impulsive tattoo and had the best time laughing and sharing stories. I booked a larger session with her a few months later, and shortly before my appointment, I wasnt feeling as confident about the concept I originally chose. Chloe was so great and understanding with changing it up and going with something that felt more true to me.She was incredibly accommodating on the day of my session, ensuring it was a safe and comfortable space, and was so patient when I requested a break or two.I highly recommend checking out her work and booking a session with her! Shes fun to be around, easy to talk to and laugh with, and evidently cares about her clientele.

I’ve had numerous tattoos done by Chloe over the years and she is hands-down the only tattoo artist that I go to. She’s the only reason I go to brass city. She’s so fun to work with, creates a safe space for her clients, and does great work. I’ve referred multiple friends and family to her and they’ve all had great experiences as well and have gone to her numerous times.

From the moment I spoke with Joseph I knew this experience was going to be awesome. Bill was my artist, and when I say artist, I mean, artist! He is cordial, kind, gifted, sincere, great conversation, gorgeous atmosphere inside …it is so beautiful inside this tattoo studio, clean, inviting, I can’t say enough about Brass city tattoo. I will definitely be back for more ink here. My two older grandsons love the tattoo the youngest one is too little to appreciate the artwork. So pleased with this piece by Bill. He not only makes sure your ideas are respected, but that his expertise ensures you get the very best ink sentimentally and visually so you can appreciate it forever.Brilliant work.

I booked an appointment with Chloe in late 2022 after finding her on TikTok and cannot say enough good! The tattoo is gorgeous and I get sooo many compliments on this one! Chloe was so cool and chill, and the shop was awesome. Wish I lived closer, would definitely go back 💕 (pic is recent, healed about a year and a half)

I had my first tattoo done by Chloe in March 2019 and have been going back ever since. Chloe is the ONLY person that has done tattoos for me - not only are they an incredibly talented artist, but they make me feel so safe and cared for during every appointment. I will forever continue to come back to Chloe for tattoos.

Chloe did my spine tattoo and I am incredibly disappointed with my results. It was a spine tattoo of flowers with two hands. There was no shading or detail complete line work. First of all you can barely see the tattoo, and when you do look closely the lines are shaky and don’t connect completely. Second of all this piece was not big at all, the tattoo from top to bottom is a total of 9 inches and I was changed $370 in total. I’ve had people who’ve also went to Chloe and got a much bigger & more detailed piece and paid significantly less than I did. I’ve also had many people who’ve seen the tattoo and said that it doesn’t not look good and that I definitely over paid. To add to this Chloe made me feeling incredibly uncomfortable. I don’t know if this situation played out the way it did because she didn’t like me or what but she should’ve just declined to do my tattoo. I’m too scared to say anything to Chloe directly because she tends to blast people on the internet when they complain about her work. I’m very disappointed and as a result I will never be going to brass city for another tattoo

The parking is limited but the building is spacious & very comfortably furnished! The people working here are great! Theyre very welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable. The waiting room has an overstuffed coutch & chair with tables loaded with inspirational tattoo books to look through. Their tattooing rooms are private & your personal privacy is treated with dignity & respect. They have many fantastic tattoo artists in this shop!!! I booked an appointment with Dom & sent him sketches of what I wanted done. When I arrived, he had several designs ready for me to look at. I loved the shaded one so much I went with his design. The rates are extremely fair & the work is outstanding. These people stand behind their skill! They made sure to give me a care instruction sheet before I left that clearly details proper care for healing & nauntaining a tattoo that will stay looking new for many years. Im only 4 days post ink & still healing but its looking great!!!

My wife was quoted for a piece she paid for the tattoo in full at the first appt while getting the tattoo the artist had old open liquor bottles everywhere just very dirty she already paid her deposit and paid for the tattoo so she stayed got tattooed he then covered her tattoo and said leave the cover on for 7-10 days well the non sterile environment trapped bacteria in her tattoo after 4 days the pain was so unbearable she had to remove the tegraderm upon removing it there was gaping holes in her arm everything was recorded an on video went to the hospital an they said the dirty environment caused bacteria to get into the open wound aka the tattoo then it was trapped under tegraderm for 4 days of the 7-10 they wanted her to keep it on the dr said If it wasn’t covered at all it would have got infected but could have easily been treated but it was covered which just made the bacterial infection worse now we have already paid for the entire tattoo that isn’t finished an now will be scarred from the horrible infection an are we supposed to let them finish the piece or spend even more money to have someone else finish and then fix the scarring from the bacterial infection causing horrific scabbing and we knew something was wrong judging by the amount of pain she was in 3 days after the tattoo while it was still covered so we recorded everything removing the covering and the progress every day since plus the dr visits

After many years of thinking about getting a tattoo, I finally really felt the urge to go ahead. Chloe was so fun to work with. She gave me such a meaningful piece of work. I cant wait to get more! Very talented artists!

I drove 1 hour and 10 minutes this afternoon just to see my girl Chloe, who is one VERY talented artist when it comes to drawing & tattooing! She is just a phenomenal person all around, fun company, and truly puts the clients feelings 1st! 🙏🏻 I cant even tell you how many times she made sure I was alright and even apologized for hurting me at all; I said, girl, youre putting a needle to my skin that I ASKED you to do. Obviously tattoos are gonna be painful so please dont feel like you owe me any apology! 🤣❤💁🏻‍♀️

My most recent appointment at Brass City Tattoo was the best tattoo experience Ive had to date. My artist, Chloe, was laid-back, friendly, and super nice! I had been following her on Instagram for a while after falling in love with her work, so I had to book with her. She made the whole experience so comfortable, not intimidating like some other artists. We talked basically the entire session, which helped the time pass and distract from any pain. Which, for the record, was probably the least painful tattoo Ive ever gotten! It came out perfectly, I am so proud to have her work on my arm! Even before leaving the shop, I was already brainstorming more ideas so I could come back. Love you Chloe! Thank you again!

Place was nice and clean. Went here twice. Everyone has their own style so look each one up on Instagram or Facebook. I had Dave who was a great guy. They take their time and see what you want and like. Man who answers the phone Joseph was a sweetheart. Would recommend for old school style and cartoon like.

My sister and I drove from NH to have our tattoo done by Chloe. She made us feel so comfortable since it was our first tattoos. She was extremely down to earth and funny and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. We will definitely come back to her! Also, the studio was extremely clean and welcoming

Really love this shop. The guys are friendly all of them and they do quality work. I personally see Jeff Lambert for all my tattoo needs and I highly reccomend him. He does some amazing work, and he did a fantastic cover up on me when another shop said it couldnt be done. Also Ive looked through and seen other artists there and can say this is a great place for whatever you want done. They have a good variety of quality artists, shop is very clean, and its a really laid back place with really fair prices. I Always recommend them to friends who want good quality tattoos.

Had a tiny very simple sun tattoo done on my middle finger, smaller than a dime that took about five minutes. No shading no intricacies, just a tiny circle with some straight lines coming off of it. The tattoo itself is a little off centered on my finger in general and the lines are pretty askew as well. I was kinda bummed afterwards when I really sat with my friend and looked at it, but I specifically got something so small and basic so that even if it didn’t come out great it wouldn’t be super noticeable. I kind of mentally prepped to not like it since I didn’t do my research or check out the shop or the artists first. I would of honestly not even bothered writing a review, except I paid $100 for this. Underwhelmed to say the least, but mostly just pissed that I paid such a ridiculous amount to be disappointed.Updating this like a year later because I just happened across this review in my Google app and I’m still pissed about how crooked this sun is. I have been tattooed at Brass City 5 times so far and every experience has been great. One time I made an appointment with absolutely nothing in mind, I just knew I wanted a new tattoo. The artists and staff there made it easy for me to decide what I wanted, and I walked out with a great tattoo. Its great to see people who are both good at what they do and who really care about what theyre doing, and not just cranking out quick and cheap tattoos to make a quick buck. BCT is highly recommended by this guy right here!

The knowledgeable and accommodating staff at Brass City Tattoo made it easy for me to get custom art work to exactly how I desired it. Top of the line artists (Corey Scoolidge, Jeff Lambert) and a history of greatness (Darren Brass, Miami Ink) make this shop the first place I would get tattooed in the state. First walking into the space there is a living room type waiting area and each artist has their own workspace which makes this an extremely comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Walk Ins and appointments are welcome, the Quality of work done exceeded any expectations I had. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get excellent work done by first class artists.

Ive gone to them for quite a few of my tattoos and they have always been amazing since I was almost always a walk in. From the staff being friendly and having awesome personalities to cleanliness of the shop I will be coming here again!!

On Saturday night myself and a few friends decided we wanted tattoos. For a split second decision I dont thing we could have gotten better service or nicer artists. I highly recommend this place! Rob did mine in about 45 minutes it is my new favorite!

Yesterday I called to see if they are doing walk ins and when the guy answered, he was nice as first. He asked what the tattoo was and where it was going to be placed. After about 2 mins of being on the phone, I asked him how much it would be and he gave me a price. After I said thank you, he asked me if I was coming in or not? (Very rude tone) I told him not today, and he hung up on me. I was going to set up an appointment for my friend and I but he just lost 2 clients. Very rude there..

Brass City Tattoo is a great place to get a tattoo! The shop is large with private rooms and the tattooers are great! My favorite thing about this shop is that they are open until midnight on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Where else can you get a late night tattoo? Bring your friends and make a night of getting tattooed together and having cocktails at the Brooklyn Cafe across the street. Youre welcome.
