Lake Ozark Tattoo and Hair Studio

Lake Ozark Tattoo is by far the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Ollie was amazingly professional, brought better ideas to the table with placement and overall design of our tattoos, and was very considerate of the whole process and explaining aftercare in depth. He is the only one I will be going to moving forward. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the shop are unmatched. The art throughout the place is amazing and done by one of the house interns, which is so awesome they hype each other up. Lake Ozark Tattoo is THE best hands down. You wont be disappointed by choosing them for your tattoo or piercing needs.

If you’re in the Ozarks…I highly recommend Lake Ozark Tattoo and Hair Studio. From start to finish…everything was above what we expected. The studio was very clean and the artists were very personable. I brought my daughter for first (memorial) tattoo…and again, Ollie exceeded her expectations!! He took the time to draw up the tattoo…which was better than she had envisioned! She will remember this experience…and for that I thank you! It’s always the small and simple that mean the most!We will definitely be back for more!!!

Our bachelorette group decided day before that we wanted to all (10 of us!) get tattoos. They were so accommodating and able to get us in all at once. Walking into a new shop on vacation can always be a toss up but they were so clean, friendly, and professional!!! They deserve every bit of 5 stars and beyond.

This shop gained a new client. I walked in with an open mind and Ollie fit me in right then an there. The shop was very clean and well organized. Went on a girls trip to Lake of the Ozarks and we decided to get tattoos. We werent sure where to go, so we checked out stars/reviews on Google. We decided on Lake Ozark Tattoo and we couldnt have been happier with our decision! Ollie did our tattos. He was so helpful and so patient with us, considering we were walk-ins and were iffy about what we were going to get. All 3 tattoos looked amazing, and we were provided with lots of after-care info, which was very helpful because, one of our ladies was a first-timer! I also got a piercing while I was there. It went so smooth and everyone was beyond nice! Definitely recommend and will return when in town again!

For my friends Bachelorette weekend we wanted to get piercings on our way to Hermann. I googled several places between Springfield and Hermann and none had as good of reviews as Lake Ozark Tattoo and Hair Studio. This place was very clean and gave a welcome and safe atmosphere vibe as soon as we walked through the door. Danyehl Bailey was super friendly and professional. I would highly recommend her for any piercings. Thank you guys!

There was some unprofessionalism when getting tattoos done. The tattoos turned out good, but I was kinda hoping there was going to be someone to create the tattoo that I was wanting. I feel the art of tattooing is dieing and this place showed that, that is why it is called a tattoo artist. The two gentlemen that help me and my girl, used simple pictures that we got off the internet and basically copied and paste to a stencil and outlined it on our body. One of the guys told me to create and sketch my own tattoo, which I thought was odd because it is there job to create the tattoo.

Ollie is very professional and has very artistic skills. His wife also cut my wife’s hair and styled it for her. Highly recommend this place. See y’all next summer. From Mississippi.

I had an appointment with Jackson a couple days ago and I just wanted to say not only is he a great artist who takes his work seriously, but he is a genuine guy who truly cares about others. I decided to get a tattoo in a fairly sensitive area and wasnt prepared for the pain of the needle. I started crying. He held my hand and comforted me and made sure I had plenty of long breaks and really took his time with me. Cant say I was expecting to make a real human connection with anyone that night but Im really glad I did.

I had my ears repierced and Danyelle did a great job. The place is well maintained and very clean. Would highly recommend!

Went in for matching memorial tattoos. Danyehl was super personable and had great customer service, but none of our tattoos match. Someone was painting the walls inside about 5ft from where we were being tattooed. I feel like I paid 120$ for a scratcher tattoo. I looked this business up on Facebook after the fact, and saw this artist does mostly permanent makeup, which was not conveyed to us once. I would highly recommend doing your research before coming to this shop.Edit to add a picture of it minutes after being done

We were on vacation and decided to get tattoos. 3 out of 4 of us gals hadnt had a tattoo before. Ollie made us feel so comfortable. My husband passed away and I wanted a tattoo to symbolize us. This is the image that is on our tombstone. I sent the image to Ollie and he nailed it!!!! He took his time to make sure that it was done to perfection.He made sure that every detail was done right. I was on my bachelorette trip with my girls when on a whim we decided we all wanted tats! We pulled up google and found these guys. BEST DECISION EVER!!!We had 5 total and we literally just showed up as walk ins. We talked with James and Ollie who are both so nice and personable & discussed what each of us wanted. My fiancé and I are from out of town and very much spontaneously got tattoos. With much looking around this place just perfect! Oliver made me very comfortable making sure I was alright as this was my first tattoo. His shop is cozy and very welcoming, we will be coming back every time we’re down here!

Oliver got 8 of us in over the weekend kinda last minute. He worked with each of us to get us what we wanted and didn’t mind changing designs to make sure we were happy with every part of our tattoos. He takes great pride in his work and takes his time to make sure they all looked amazing. Prices are extremely reasonable and quoted us correctly.

Ollie did a wonderful job on my tattoo. My tattoo is a remembrance or memorial tattoo for my husband who passed away from cancer. I had my own design that a coworker drew up for me. However, it wasnt exactly right. Ollie listened to the changes I wanted to make to the sketch I had and was able to draw up exactly what I had in mind. He gave me the option of three sizes. He then did a beautiful job tattooing in on my arm. This is my first tattoo (and Im not young :) It was a great experience and I love my tattoo.

James is the absolute best. My best friend and I always go to the lake together for the 4th and last year during a rainy day we spontaneously decided to get tattoos together. We found James and had such a positive experience that we had to see him again and make this an annual tattoo trip. James is extremely personable, respectful, and genuine. Where to get a tattoo, that’s the million dollar question when thinking about your first tattoo. When choosing James at Lake Ozark Tattoo, it was initially a gut instinct on this being where I wanted to get my tattoo work done. After the first tattoo experience with James I realized that I wanted to return for additional Tattoos. James has a creative mind when coming up with the design, very unique approach to making the tattoo resemble what’s needed for the personal meaning. James also has strong attention to detail which meant a lot to me when getting something permeant… The experience with James in getting my tattoo work done far exceeded my expectations, I’d strongly suggest both Lake OZARK Tattoo and James for your art work.
