Im a repeat customer at Rabbits Foot, and I love my tattoos from there. Chris, the owner, is a talented and conscientious tattooist, who had done a lower back tattoo on me about 10 years ago, right before I moved away from the lake area.I went back there recently with a drawing for Chris to add to my lower back tattoo. He not only did a fantastic job recreating my drawing on my back in ink, but he also improved on it using his own artistic sensibility.The parlor is very clean and tidy and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Chris and Rabbits Foot if you want a great tattoo.

Chris and the Rabbits Foot team have done us nothing but amazing work for myself and my coworkers. We hosted an amazing collaborative event with the shop and got amazing feedback. Me and my girlfriend were up visiting from texas to see some family and she was showing me around her home town and we passed rabbits foot. we stopped so i could get my lily of the valley done and he was so friendly and willing to work with my ideas and it came out perfect!! so we decided to come back so my girlfriend could get her longhorn skull done and it is AMAZING!! would recommend stopping here for a tattoo :))

Im a couple months late on my review, but my experience here was amazing and my tattoo turned out beautifully. I with with my friend as walk-ins and they got us in within a couple of hours. Chris did my tattoo and he did such a beautiful job. Definitely will be looking to go back for future tattoos!

We visited Missouri from Wisconsin. At the last minute, 3 of us decided to get tattoos. Chris and Maisie were very professional, fun and welcoming. They were able to get us in immediately and our tattoos are amazing. 100% recommend.

My last tattoo before today was done at the Rabbit’s Foot about 5 years ago. I came in today, and the owner welcomed me in, even though I was almost an hour early. He and the other artist were hospitable and professional. I was getting a complicated cover up, and the owner was jovial and conversational, but when he needed to focus to make the piece perfect he let me know he needed concentration. He is a true artist, dedicated to his craft. I have been tattooed for 30 years and would recommend Rabbit’s Foot to anyone who wants quality work done.

My best friend and I were walk-ins on vacation and they made time for us. Very friendly and they are wonderful artists. We will keep going to them every year for our annual vacation tattoo.

Great experience overall! LOVE my tattoo and Macy and Chris (owner) are very personable and fun to work with! This is my 5th tattoo and the best experience I’ve had out of all of them!! They have little care kits that you get with directions, lotion, a card, and candy! Would highly recommend to anyone!! 🩶

They helped me out last minute with an infected piercing from a different establishment. Iwas met with total care and understanding. They have earned my business for all future work!

Took my son and myself to get our ears pierced. They made him feel comfortable with doing that and helped me get my industrial that Ive wanted for a long time. Kember loves his piercing and they informed him and myself of how to keep it clean and it still is healing wonderfully. This place is absolutely amazing I went in for a walk in today and was able to get in within a hour or so Chris did an amazing job with my tattoo!!! He was great to talk to and made sure that I was completely happy with my tattoo, it was clean and an amazing experience the staff is absolutely amazing!!

I got my first tattoo at this shop, and I must say it was a truly memorable experience. The staff was very lively and personable, and even better in terms of service. Justin was the artist who performed my piece, and the result is everything I could have possibly wanted. He made me feel 100% comfortable being there, and was very encouraging about the idea I had. Definitely the best tattoo shop in the Ozark area, much better than the others I visited. 10/10 would recommend!

Went in with a friend to get our first tattoos from Chris. He helped us get exactly what we were wanting. Robbin switched out my nose ring while we were there. Good pricing & great quality art!

Four of us walked in Saturday afternoon with no appointment and they were very accommodating with how busy they were. While our tattoos were small, the two tattoo artists were still able to get us in and out in just a couple hours. After noticing a small error on one of the tattoos at dinner following our session (which should have been noticed by us before the tattoo was complete) we called as they were closing up to see if they would possibly get us back in for a touch up. When we arrived the tattoo artist had already prepped for the touch up and stayed past closing to make sure we were completely satisfied when we left. Very professional. Very light and fun atmosphere. Quick turnover on clients while maintaining a clean and sterile environment.

Been going to the Chris Dowdy the owner at Rabbits Foot for some time now. Very professional clean shop. Chris has fair prices and clean work. Would reccomend.

I walked into this tattoo shop with a couple ideas for tattoos- them being pretty small lettering. There was only a man in the shop and he showed me how small he could make the lettering but it wasn’t quite as small as I want and plus I would prefer a woman to tattoo me due to a lighter touch for lettering and I mentioned that so I decided not to proceed at which he said, “I’ve been doing this for 20 years I’m not going to try to sell myself- thanks for wasting my time.” I CAN MOST DEFINITELY CHANGE MY FREAKING MIND ABOUT TATTOOS GOING ON MY BODY!!!!! I will NEVER set foot into this tattoo shop again and I won’t be recommending them to anyone EVER. Thanks for nothing!Edit: I actually didn’t make an appointment- I was a walk in. I’ve seen a lot of very small tattoos of all different kinds of writing and that’s what I want. They most definitely weren’t impossible sizes.. So when I saw that that was the smallest he could make the lettering, I changed my mind. Simple as that.

If I could rate for quality of work, it would have been 5.Experience alone Id give a 1 (maybe a 2) so I went middle ground.Our over priced tattoos turned out just as we wanted however....The owner was rude.We were in a girls trip ans has been discussing going to get matching tats.We called prior to our visit to see if they were busy. Told them we would have 4 of us coming. Told we may have to wait but shouldnt be an issue. We told them we were 20 minutes out and headed that way. When we arrived, 1 guy with owner was in a chair, no one was in the other.The female.working gave us all consent forms to fill out.We filled them out, showed Darrin what we wanted. He drew it up, it looked great.We got 1 in the chair with Darrin, he started and then we were told by the owner that they may not have time to do all of us, that they have lives, that they close at 7. We understand everyone has a life but they knew thats why we were all there from the start!Darrin was super nice!! The owner also made the comment Didnt know youd need a resume today, when we asked to see work examples prior to starting.The owner jumped in (while we definitely got the sense he didnt want to), to help and did 2 while Darrin did 2.None of us were in a chair for more than 15 minutes for a simple tattoo and have had ones prior so feel we were overcharged ($100 each) however we still tipped well.Again, the quality of work turned out great (thank goodness), but not sure if we would have needed to really discuss our design (time not being an issue) if the experience would have been any more favorable.While we made the best of it, this experience was not the best for our girls weekend trip and had 1 not been started, we would have definitely walked out after various comments made.EDIT ADDED due to note below of us showing up 45 minutes later - call logged at 537 & GPS arrival at 602. Wed be happy to send that documentation!We were NOT drunk (but nice of you to assume) we were all just in a good mood and NOT once asked to keep it down. It was mentioned when our friend getting her piercing we were a bit loud but we were never asked.As mothers we truly ache for the father in the chair and definitely would have been mindful of toning it down had we been asked without knowing the reason.We also understand family time as well but the conversations we heard, didnt quite sound like kids were the priority over some adult time.Photo attached of what we got but it said friends instead of familia. No heart or dot detail that tails that.

We went in for 5 piercings and they even squeezed in 3 small tattoos for us. One of us even had a problem with a piercing from somewhere else and the piercer helped her with changing out her post. They were all 3 very knowledgeable and personable. Also VERY CLEAN. We will definitely go back.

Darrin was awesome. He did 3 out of our 4 tattoos and the shop owner (sorry I didnt catch your name) did the last one. They were quick, did amazing work and super friendly.

The whole staff was absolutely amazing. I had some compilations with my nose piercing and ended up almost passing out, multiple times and the entire staff was by my side and was phenomenal!! such caring and nice people to be surrounded by, I highly recommend coming here for whatever service you need!

Darrin (not sure how to spell it) did mine. He took his time to make sure it was even, the right size, and detailing. I’m so happy with mine. The guys in the shop are super nice and make sure you’re comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Patrick is the best! My friends and I went in and all got tattooed by him. He was so much fun and so humble. Pricing was more than fair. Patrick was all about the experience and was all about doing what we felt was right while providing his professional expertise. Chris has done MANY tattoos on me and each and every time I was so pleased with his work. I have been going to Chris for many years and consider his work to be among the best here at the Lake. My recent visit was to have four piercings done and because they were genital piercings Chris made special arrangements to come in an hour before his normal business hours to pierce me because his shop doesnt offer a private room and that was going above and beyond and much appreciated. My girlfriend and I just had tattoos done by Patrick. All I can tell you is, WOW. What an outstanding business and even more humble human being. We never felt more comfortable than we did today letting someone tattoo us. Our tattoos were very meaningful to us and we wanted to make sure we would be taken care of by the right person that knew how sentimental it was for us. I came from Iowa to visit my best friend that is from Jamestown Mo. Her, her husband, and myself all went and had a blast. He got an old tat reworked and we got matching ones from a 35 yr friendship. It was very clean, the conversations were great and the tats turned out fantastic. We already have plans to return next time Im in Mo. Beyond five stars! Great people, Great place!

First I have to say that I got tattooed by Chris Dowdy about 6 years ago. So I havent been to Rabbits Foot Tattoo Parlor. Chriss work is outstanding and beautiful. He did such an amazing job on my sleeve that 6 years later I get daily compliments on how well done and bright the colors still are. Not only from random people I meet but other tattoo artists. So if you want quality work that looks great for years to come go see Chris Dowdy!

Went in for a nose piercing and ended up getting a belly button as well. Bryson was super professional and talked me through the process as if it was my first time. Everything was super clean and the customer service was amazing. will be going back.

I got my first tattoo here almost a year ago and tonight I have added my seventh one. I will only come here for tattoos. I trust his work and he keeps good company. I can bring in a picture of what I want and every time he makes it look ten times better. Highly recommend going here. I will definitely be back!

I took in handwriting for a small tattoo on my wrist. Chris did an amazing job. The tattoo is an exact replica of the writing I took in and turned out better than I ever dreamed. We loved his personality and the shop is beautiful inside. My wife and I will be using Chris for all our future ink.

Chris is an amazing artist but there is a new girl named Rachel whos work is that of someone just starting out even though i was told she had years experience. It took her forever to make my stencil, then she kept going outside to smoke and she wasnt very friendly and was very heavy handed. I also noticed her hands shook A LOT. I was going to get a couple piercings from her that day also but i was afraid she would mess them up because she was shaking so bad! Its been a week and my tattoo is still oozing. I think it may be infected! I must have been there for hours. Ive never had such a bad experience at Rabbits Foot as I did that day. If you go out of your way to get your work done at Rabbits Foot DO NOT get your work done by Rachel. I dont think Ill be going back there if she is still employed there. Frank.

Wouldnt go anywhere else in Missouri to have work done. Chris first did work on me in 1998 and my ink still looks amazing. His shop is amazing, his work is amazing and Chris is a fantastic guy.

A group of us were in town for a Bachelorette party and we decided to get a tattoo! We called rabbits foot tattoo and they were able to get us in at such a short notice. They did a great job!

I got my nose pierced at this place. the workers were very nice and reasonably priced. The piercer put a needle that was too small for the jewelry to start off then had to put a bigger one through my nose. The first day it looked normal, but on the second day the stud was going inside of my nose I had to push it out from the inside in order to see the stud. I decided maybe it was just swollen, but then a week later it was still doing the same thing until it got to the point where I count find the hole to push it out. I ended up having to pull the entire piercing out through the inside of my nose. If I wouldn’t have done that it would have closed up over the jewelry. I decided to put a ring in it so it didn’t close up. It hasn’t gotten infected since I put it in. I wasn’t given the option to choose the jewelry I wanted. The pitches show is the first day I got it pierced, then the following three are when I pushed it out and it going back inside of my nose.

Great place decent ability needs new customers. Highly recommend bold simple tattoos allow the artist to put his flair and will not be disappointed.
