Just one word to describe this place!! AMAZING!! I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. I was greeted by my artist right away and he worked with me on creating my dream and didn’t pressure me into changing it and just all around an amazing place to have work done. So sterile and clean in there. Everything is done right in-front of you so you can see the quality of tools that the artist use. Hands down THE BEST place I’ve ever gotten any of my tattoos. Havent had a tattoo there yet but the designs are amazing. I go there for collectibles mostly. The service and selection is well organized and top notch. I recommend to all my MTG/tatted up friends.

Had my first tattoo done today by Joel. When I went in to the shop for a consultation the shop was clean, all the artists greeted me and were very helpful. Joel did an outstanding job on my forearm and when he was done he was helpful on how to help with the healing process. Very detailed and personable. Got a cute little firefly tattoo from Alyssa! I love it, she’s a great artist. Alyssa was really great at paying attention to detail, making me comfortable, and getting it exactly perfect. Always great to find an artist that gives you a welcoming & great experience!

My mom and I did not have appointments but I called and they said that they accept walk-ins, so we went and I’m so glad we did!! I forgot to ask what the lady’s name was but she did amazing! It was my first tattoo and she made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that she was doing. I would definitely recommend going here! I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing experience! Joel was so nice and accommodating from the moment I made the appointment. Im an overthinker but Joel was patient with me the entire visit. Joel went out of his way to accommodate my daughter for her 21st birthday. The shop was immaculate and staff was all smiles. Her tattoo was lettering on her rib cage. He explained the process as it was her 1st torso tattoo. This was definitely a great experience! We look forward to continuing business with them. Lastly~ home care was explained in detail. Its clear that the professionalism here is top notch!

One of the best experiences I have ever had! I searched online for tattoo shops and came across The Inkwell Tattoo Company. I looked at Joel’s portfolio and felt like he was a perfect fit for what I wanted. Scheduling a consultation was easy on their webpage. I got a good vibe when I arrived at the shop for our consultation. Cool art work everywhere, looked exceptionally clean! Joel met with my sister and I. He made us feel very confident he would nail our tattoos. We had our appointment 11/20 and he delivered! The sketch he provided me was dead on with what I requested. My sister wanted to switch what she originally requested and he was able to accommodate despite it being last minute. His equipment is top notch! He was very friendly and quite hilarious. I have several other tattoos and have never walked away this happy! I appreciate everything Joel did to make us happy! I cannot wait to see him again!

Great work great customer service, Joel recently did a tattoo for me, amazing lines amazing shading and very easy to talk too and very personable. Extremely professional and extremely clean. My cousins and I wanted to get matching tattoos. There were 13 of us, and we all wanted slightly different variations on a design - it was a tall order. Cat, Ashley, and Joel were so accommodating and wonderful to us. They took the time to make sure we each individually felt comfortable and got exactly what we wanted, but they also set aside the entire shop for us for an evening so that we could all be there together. The tattoos themselves also turned out amazing. I really cant say enough good things about the experience. I live 3 hours away, but next time I get a tattoo, I may have to seriously consider making a special trip. Thanks so much to the team at Inkwell for making this experience so special for me and my family.

Joel gave my boyfriend his first tattoo & did an amazing job! The shop is very clean & the other two ladies working were very friendly. They do a good job making sure they give you quality work & make you feel comfortable. After Joel was done, he sanitized everything including the chair. They’re very careful and again, did a great job! 10/10 reccomend

The best shop and artist in NE Ohio. Shop is very clean and makes the customer as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I have had 5 tattoos so far by Owner / Artist Joel Ozinga his work is always outstanding for his talent you’ll find no better artist for the quality of work and availability of him. Any other artists of the same quality will cost you more and will take much longer to get you an appointment. Anyone on the fence about where to go should come here before his books are full!

This is my absolute favorite place! They are the best!! As someone who worked in healthcare, I was beyond excited to see how clean the place is and how well equipped and serious they are in regards to aftercare! Its so important and they exceeded all my expectations! Ashley is amazing and her work is priceless! I deff recommend going here for your tattoo needs!

I did a lot of local research and found this to be the best option. I had a great experience with my artist Ashley. Very clean, put together business with awesome people.

I will not have a tattoo done by anyone but these guys. I had a fairly large back piece done in Tennessee years ago before I knew about Joel. I was extremely unsatisfied with my original tattoo and I needed some help fixing/finishing it. I approached Joel with several ideas to clean it up to a level of satisfaction that I could live with. Joel was very receptive to my ideas and expanded on them with an attitude that made me very confident that I chose the right artist. I was extremely impressed and satisfied in the end. So much so, that I later got another large tattoo on my arm by Joel and again, he helped me understand what I really wanted from my base idea. I cant thank him and his shop enough. From the beginning to the end, it was pleasure to have Joel and his staff focus beyond what I wanted in a tattoo and to help me have a really cool overall experience. Hes an extremely capable artist but even more importantly...his staff are amazing people with great attitudes that make me feel that I cant go wrong getting a tattoo from them. Awesome! Artists and staff are friendly butprofessional - not arrogant like alot of tattoo artists Ive met. They work with you to make sure you get what you want. Great ambiance and not cluttered with designs everywhere. Spotless and clean! Special works are framed nicely on walls. Each artist has personal notebooks of designs. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because when I went in for actual sitting, each room has its own speakers and heavy metal music was blasting so loud, I couldnt wait to get out of there and walked out with a pounding headache. The quality of their service, however, is excellent and prices reasonable. I would highly recommend. I checked out three different studios before stumbling upon Ink Well.

Joel tattooed my hand a few weeks ago and I’m in love with it. I’ve been coming here for years and I leave satisfied each and every time. Cat actually did my very first tattoo in 2018 and did an amazing job on it. I’m sad that I’ll be moving out of Ohio soon and will have to find a new place to go. I recommend Inkwell to everyone.

Wonderful atmosphere, Joel is the best person to talk to during a tattoo session. He literally always has interesting things to talk about and the work he does is phenomenal! Will for sure be scheduling future tattoos with him!

I’ve known Andrew since I was little. Seeing him grow into an amazing artist he is today still blows my mind. I only get my tattoos done by him and will always get them done by him. Great artists. Awesome atmosphere. They were really kind help get you want you really want in a tattoo. Will be going back soon. Sadly at the time of posting they dont do piercing anymore. Very cozy and professional but fun.

I went into this tattoo shop looking to improve an old piece of work I had gotten years back and I came out with a masterpiece!!! Nice place, clean, seems to have nice employees, but the pricing is outrageous!! I got JUST A OUTLINE of a tiny whale, the size of a egg-if that and they charge me 60 bucks not including taxes....I was in shock and still paid for it. I felt they could have done way better on the price for a 2 min tattoo and the size (not any detail either).

Chris did an amazing job. His lines were so precise, I definetely would recommend him to anyone. All the artists were so kind and welcoming when we first walked and throughout the whole time we were there. Prices were reasonable and the shop itself was very clean and very perfessional. We went to so many different places trying to find the best and this shop blew us away. I will never go anywhere else!

I got my tattoo done by Cat, I have to say it was the most fun I have had getting a tattoo. She was very knowledgeable and really cared about my tattoo. The atmosphere of the shop is unlike any other. I definitely will be coming back again and again.
