Ive been going here for laser hair removal for about 6 months and Ive enjoyed my experience every time 😁 the place is clean and comfortable. All the staff are very pleasant. They are very punctual, Ive never waited for any of my appointments. My technician is Ripsime and shes so experienced and professional. She made me feel so relaxed in the first session and was pleasant in all the sessions. I was amazed how quick and painless the sessions are! Even if theyre quick, the removal was still effective. I’m going to have to write my honest review. At first I didn’t want to because the owner seemed nice but I can’t not warn others with what happened to me and not getting the best service after they knew what happened to me. When getting laser hair removal they make you sign a contract but they do not go over warnings like if you are a person of color you should use a different laser or your hair may grow more. Laser hair removal actually doesn’t get rid of hair completely. Something I wish I knew. Because I’m a person of color (light skin) I wanted to do a test laser to see how my skin would react, they cared more about money and not the actual person that they told me they don’t do that. So I got lasered and ended up with dark marks all over my belly first session that were in circle shapes from the laser. I cried and knew that it was going to get darker and scar. I informed them immediately a few hours after and came back and the girl at the front desk made a face like she felt bad and the owner tried to tell me that it was normal and will go away and that hasn’t happened to others…I informed him that maybe because 90% of people that go in there are white skinned. I know my own body and knew something was wrong so my gut was to see an actual doctor that deals with skin which is a Dermatologist. I was crying, She saw my belly and immediately informed me that it was hyperpigmentation. She prescribed me Kojic acid and something else in a bottle that worked wonders, thank god I didn’t listen to David and saw a dermatologist because catching it early, It was gone in just a few weeks!!!! Thank god and I went back and saw him without telling him I saw a dermatologist just to hear what he would say then immediately told him he was wrong that I saw a dermatologist and it’s hyperpigmentation. So he said he will switch the machine to a different laser , at first I was worried, but I informed my dermatologist and she told me to put hydrocortisone prescribed on my belly before they use a different laser that I should be fine and she was right. BY the way, terrible customer service because after you ruin someone’s body like that you should honestly refund them just out of pure kindness, the least they could’ve done. But THEN I got all my laser treatments done, and guess what, my hair grew back THICKER. Places where I didn’t grow rarely any hair now I have long thick hairs on my body. All the sessions you pay for (I believe it’s 6 I forget) isn’t all you need, you have to buy more because the amount they give is purposely not enough. Not a good experience and wish I never got laser done now. My belly was perfectly fine before and now I can’t even look at it. I should add a photo of what happened to me but I’m embarrassed

I had microblading done just over a week ago. Ally was absolutely phenomenal on so many levels! She made me feel extremely comfortable and was super-reassuring as I was definitely nervous about pain/discomfort I would feel during the procedure. She explained everything she was going to do, had me open my eyes to watch as she opened clean instruments, and really helped calm my nerves. I experienced little to no pain throughout the procedure. She numbed the area with a cream before starting and I only felt pressure as she worked. A few days after having the procedure she texted me to follow-up and see how I was doing and how I liked them, etc. To be honest, I thought I posted a review the day I had the procedure done, but I do not see it. I logged in today to edit it today (a week and 2 days post-procedure) so now Ill add on to this review with what would have been my edits.I have not needed to wax or pluck my eyebrows in the past 15 years.They just do not grow anymore. About 5 or 6 years ago, I had a make-up consultation (because Im really inept when it comes to make-up in general). At the consultation, the make-up artist convinced me I needed to try (and use) an eyebrow pencil. I didnt even realize such a product existed or why people would need it! After seeing it applied, I liked how it look and, of course, invested in the eyebrow pencil. Unfortunately, it also made me EXTREMELY self-conscious about leaving the house without using it. So even if I put no other make-up on to leave my house, I could no longer leave without using by brow pencil. My eyebrows only came halfway across my eye and I was now very aware and unhappy with how they looked. Ive heard about microblading for a while but was super nervous about it. Would they look unnatural? What would the pain be like? Is it worth the cost? So many questions and worries! I cannot express enough how happy I am that I took the leap! They look super natural, there was no pain, and YES the cost is worth it -- especially since I no longer need to purchase an eyebrow pencil over and over. Also, Elysium regularly has Groupons that make the leap less painful financially! BUT heres a great tip -- dont buy the Groupon! I know, youre like, WHAT is the lady talking about -- she just said it helps the cost! So heres the cool thing. When you leave your appointment, they will NOT be the true color they will stay. They will be slightly darker and also, since youre not used to having defined eyebrows, theyll stand out to you a lot for a couple of days (since youre not used to having eyebrows). Over the course of the week, the color will fade slightly, youll get used to seeing your face with eyebrows, and I assure you, you will be so happy with your decision!I put a before and after picture with my review. Also, if youre thinking they look like the same person but theres some crows feet missing in the after...I recommend the Botox too!

Dr David Singh and Carrieann are some of the nicest people that I have ever been in their care. Absolutely love this place for all things spa! Found out about Elysium through a GREAT Groupon deal. Went in for the first time to do laser with Rita. My experience was amazing. Nearly painless! Rita made me extremely comfortable and shes very informative about everything. I ended up joining their 20/20 club where you pay $20 one time and get 20% off all laser treatments. Results were amazing. I have thick coarse hair and now all my hairs are super thin and peach fuzz like. Being in the 20/20 club, they gave their members a free signature facial for the month of February. I had mine with Georgina and she was such a professional and took her time with everything. I highly recommend Elysium!!! You won’t be disappointed!!

So anyone with any melanin in their skin, please be aware of this place. I have burns and hyperpigmentation after my laser hair removal.I have had previous laser sessions at another laser place with no issues in California but since I moved, I needed a new place. So I came to Elysium, with the list of previous machines I had used and settings from my old place. I went to Elysium on 1/10/23 and had a consultation with Lori where I had explained my previous history with laser and the machines I had used in the past. She then proceeded to schedule me in for my laser appointment the next day. On 1/11/23 I had a very uncomfortable laser session with their MOTUS machine. For the entire week afterwards, my skin was itchy, red, and inflamed. It became discolored. I now have hyperpigmentation and burn scars all over my body. I have never had this kind of reaction before in the previous 6 laser sessions I have had at my old place. No one from the medical team or office ever called me back and it has been almost 2 months. Now when I go into the office or call, I ask to speak to the medical team and they are always unavailable to speak. I would like a refund but I feel as if they are holding my money hostage by never calling me back so I am forced to continue going here.I have a new person who is helping me at least, Christy, and she seems more cautious after hearing my horror story of the first time, so I am at least grateful for that. But otherwise, I do not recommend this place for people of any color. I am now scarred before my wedding in a few weeks.

I bought 6 sessions of laser hair removal for my under arms with this location. When I went for the consult the lady was very pleasant and welcoming and she had explained the whole process of what to expect. She also had added that she hasnt shaved her underarms in about 4 years. I was very excited to start the process. The first technician I saw was very rude and unfriendly so I changed technicians for my next treatments and stuck with her through my sessions. After the 6th session I slowly started to see results which was promising. She then told me I would need about 3 more sessions to see the best results. Purchased 3 more sessions and nothing really seemed to change, so again she said after another 3 sessions youll see better results. I trusted her again and bought another 3 which would be 12 sessions in total. After all 12 sessions I was very upset with my results. There was still so much hair growing back in my underarms and I still had to shave every day. I followed the 8 week sessions religiously and ofcourse after the 12th session she again said it will take another 3 sessions to see your desired results I was so discouraged and she also stated if I didnt purchase the sessions this visit I wouldnt recieve the 15% discount they give for the same area. I left without purchasing more session because I was disappointed. Fast forward 8 weeks later and there is SO much hair growing back after 12 SESSIONS! I understand everyone is different and it may not completely eliminate hair growth but I should not be seeing THIS much hair growing back after all those sessions. Seemed like they cared more about the money in my opinion, even after expressing my concerns with the technician. Will be trying elsewhere from now on.

She is knowledgeable, professional and always makes sure I am comfortable and happy with the results. The office is beautiful and the front desk staff are kind. I have to say my experience with laser hair removal has been great! And I definitely see the results! For years I spent shaving my neck and chin area to now going weeks to minimal time needing to shave that area. Ripsime has been great at making me feel comfortable the whole time. :)

I recently went for my first laser hair removal treatment with Rita. The whole process was very fast and there was very little pain involved.
