Def will be coming back to this amazing shop! The shop has a great atmosphere, even the lobby room couches where you wait are super comfy. Luther worked on my tattoo and I can’t say enough good things about this guy! He’s super chill and funny, and his line work is amazing. Also the bathroom is very nice and clean which I know is a small detail but def is important to some. Everything is very sterile and clean. 10/10 experience

This is my first tattoo and review so please bear with me. This was one of the most thrilling and exiting moments of my life when I got my first tattoo here. Never felt more welcome to a place in my life. I met with the artist named Scott, and he could tell I was nervous, but talking to him about my design made feel I was at the right place and chose the right place for my tattoo. Scott did some phenomenal work by taking my goat design and taking it to a whole new level with tons of detail. You can tell Scott is passionate about his art and craftsmanship. I highly recommend anyone who’s getting a first tattoo to go checkout Intricate Ink Tattoo in Peabody!!

I had a great experience at intricate ink tattoo. I got a small fine line tattoo done by Jeff and he was extremely helpful through the whole process. He walked me through the compromise of size and detail and had zero pushiness or judgment. The shop is very clean and welcoming, highly recommend going here!

(photo a little bloody) went for friday the 13th flash tattoo sale! got there around five, waited outside and they made sure everyone had water and were doing okay! we got in at around 9, they offered pizza and we got tattooed around 930! i had nate and he was super kind and did a fantastic job! for my first tattoo, this was a great experience!

Intricate provided a great experience. It was very clean and Nate did a great job helping to design my tattoo. He made several revisions until I was completely satisfied. They detailed everything that would happen which made the experience very enjoyable.

Hands down my favorite shop in the area. I’ve seen Luther twice and plan on seeing him again for my next piece! Luther is not only a phenomenal artist, but he’s incredibly professional and is always sure to check in with his client to make sure we don’t need a break/make sure we’re feeling ok. The shop has always been very welcoming, and even when other artists stop by to see what we’re working on and chat, it’s a good time all around. Can’t recommend Luther enough!

I made an appointment with Luther to get a piece done on my leg and boy oh boy did he knock it out of the park! It was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had at a tattoo parlor! Luther is an amazing artist and is super easy to talk to if you have a longer session. 5 hours went by in a flash and I can’t wait to get my next piece done!

Jeff was fantastic! I was worried at first about incorporating another tattoo with an existing tattoo, but he did an amazing job coming up with a design that was beautiful, and worked perfectly with the older tattoo. Professional, meticulous, and an all around delightful human being. Ive already sent him a design for another tattoo. He was wonderful.

This was my first tattoo. I’ll admit I was nervous at first, but Scottie was very reassuring that it will go smooth. He was right it went great. I come to see Luther at Intricate for all my anime tattoo work and there is literally no one else I will go to for anime tats- his work is amazing, he really captures the art styles of all kinds of different characters so well and I love every single piece I have from him. The shop is also an awesome environment, everyone is super kind and the space is very open! Love this place so much all the artists are awesome and I highly recommend :)

Stumbled upon Intricate when I randomly found their business card shortly after they opened. Since 2021, I have had 13 tattoos done at the shop (all done by Luther, @luthtorious on socials for reference). The shop has grown and improved so much in such a short time. All of the artists are mega talented, so no matter who you work with, you are in good hands. They each have their own unique style so there is someone there who excels at whatever you are looking for. And its an easy-going, chill, welcoming environment where everyone is friendly, laughing and having a good time. I absolutely love this place! Everyone was so nice; they had a really great atmosphere! There was no tension or awkwardness. My first tattoo experience could not have been better! The studio was very clean and I felt right at home from the minute I walked in the door.. Scott took the time to perform a professional consult where he reviewed my own design, digitally edited it to make it perfect, and helped me pick the best location for the design. He made me feel both emotionally and physically comfortable during the entire process. We talked, joked and laughed with other clients and staff all while the best music was playing in the background! I found this shop via TikTok and I couldn’t be more grateful. I got my tattoo done by Luther who specializes in anime tattoos (super hard to find in the area). It was a great environment and all the staff was super friendly. Parking is so accessible so I don’t have to worry about any meters or parking tickets. My tattoo came out everything I wanted it to be and then some. Luther was super awesome and I’ve already booked my second appointment with him to add more. I can’t recommend this shop enough!

When I had ideas for my first large tattoo, I did a lot of research on where to go. I found Intricate Ink and I’m so glad I did. 10/10 Intricate Ink is a safe, welcoming, and talented shop. I’ve been twice now, both times getting tattooed by Scottie M, and couldn’t have had a better experience. Scottie in particular has a calm demeanor, and truly wants you to be happy with your tattoo. He will give you what you want, but isn’t afraid to offer his opinions as a professional, and thank god he does!! He’s suggested a few minor changes that I am so thankful for. Nate is one of the most pleasant, skilled, and welcoming people I have met, even beyond tattooing. I sat with him for 9 hours and he made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Anybody would be lucky to meet him, let alone get work done by him.

Intricate Ink Tattoo is absolutely the best Tattoo Studio around. They have an amazing atmosphere from the music playing, to the conversations. Each artist have their own style which they have perfected. Luther is the Anime God. His line work and coloring are second to none. He has a personality that will keep you coming back. Scottie McCulloch has excellent color saturation skills. If you are into Star Wars, he is the man to do it. Never a let down.

I am extremely happy with my experience at Intricate Ink Tattoo. The studio is very clean and has a pleasant, friendly vibe with a comfortable waiting room. The artist who did my tattoo, Nate, was kind and put me at easy right away. (This was my first tattoo.) The finished tattoo looks just like what I wanted. Wanted a matching tattoo with my best friends, called about walk-ins, said they had the time so we went. Had Scottie as our tattoo artist and he was amazing! He was very talkative and made us feel welcome/comfortable. The tattoos came out perfect and he did an awesome job on the fine lines that were needed! We’ll definitely be going back to him for any other tattoos we get.

After a brief meeting to discuss the design, I was able to make an appointment within a week. Nate helped me decide on the exact design and size that I wanted. We had an amazing experience at Intricate Ink tonight! We had come in as walk-ins wanting 3 matching tattoos and our artist, Joshua went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted but also made sure we got a GOOD tattoo. He even stayed several hours after the shop closing to make sure we all got our tattoos finished! Everyone else at the shop was also super chill too! Definitely would recommend the shop and Joshua to anyone!

I got a tattoo with the owner, Scott. The next time someone asks me about a tattoo, “did it hurt”? I can emphatically say NO. Scott has a Midas touch. It didn’t hurt while he was inking me, and it didn’t hurt at all, later. I barely have a scab. I keep forgetting it’s there, because it doesn’t hurt!. This is my fifth tattoo, but the first one by Scott. This guy knows what he’s doing and I can’t recommend him enough!

I had wanted a larger tattoo for years and was never able to decide on one design that incorporated elements that were meaningful to me and that I loved. After meeting with Scott and telling him my ideas, he crafted a design that I absolutely love. And he was able to really bring life to some small tattoos that I had done somewhere else. Hes a true artist and a true gentleman. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The conversation was easy and made the time getting a tattoo on a delicate area (ribcage) go by so quickly. As an artist myself, it was important to me to find a place that would bring some of my visions to life and a place I could stick with for all future projects. Ive found that at Intricate. This is the best place were you can get tattooed for real!!I was looking for several months a place where to get a tattoo but most of the time, they were full or couldn’t find a trusted artist to do what I wanted. But I saw an ad on instagram about Luther’s page (the artist who made me these beautiful tattoos) and I thought that this is the perfect place to get them done and I was right about it! The cleanliness, the professionalism and friendliness in the shop is 10/10. Luther did a great job obviously doing my tattoos and setting up the appointment, he made me feel very comfortable in the whole session. Since now, any tattoo that I want to get done, I’ll go directly to this place and that’s for sure!

Ive worked with Scott and Josh and thought they both did great work. The process is really important and I found that both artists were able collaborate with me to complete quality pieces that I am proud of. The new shop is really nice and in a super convenient location. I look forward to working with these guys again and highly recommend them.

I work two jobs and this is my hectic season and I do not have much time off working 80+ hours a week. After a mishap of scheduling at another shop, I called just about every studio in Lynn and Salem and all of them were booked solid and could not take me. After called 15 calls my 16th call was to Intricate Ink. The owner Scott answered the phone and was able to get my wife and I in there for our tattoos within 15 minutes.He set me up with his artist Josh who is known for his traditional and neo traditional approach and I dont think I have ever been happier with any other piece of work I have ever had done. (I have had 6 other tattoos from 6 other studios.) Josh was able to take my ideas and make an amazing tattoo. This tattoo was also very meaningful because of it being Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month and I was told earlier last year that I am finally in remission.Between Scott, Josh and Jon they have a wide range of styles to choose from. Their prices are very competitive and worth it for the masterpieces they create. The shop is also one of the cleanest I have seen in the area, going above and beyond, which is very reassuring.Ultimately give these guys a shot on your small pieces and your full body pieces as well. They will not disappoint you! They also stayed over 2 hours past close to make sure we were all situated!!

First off the shop is clean, i mean spotless,just what a tattoo parlor should be. Recently got my knee done by Josh and his line work is super clean. Hes very knowledgable and gave really good feedback on what would and wouldnt work in regards of how a specific artwork would age which shows that he cares for his clients when working with them.

Very very clean shop, being a germaphobe I walked in and immediately felt comfortable, Jon is a naturally talented artist with his prints and I had no doubt that would translate to tattooing and wow I’m so impressed. Best tattoo on my body by far. They also helped me figure out the best place for the tattoo as I want to build a sleeve and it was nice having that extra touch that I haven’t gotten at other shops. Intricate Ink is definitely the up-and-coming allstar for tattoo shops on the North Shore of Massachusetts. With their clloseknit & cozy shop layout its easy to feel that you are among friends while youre getting your tattoo done. The shop is beautifully kept and clean. I worked with Josh for my tattoo and he was very down-to-Earth for someone who is as talented as he is. He made the expierence incredbily enjoyable, and I definitely reccommend him. Everyone I met during my time getting tattooed were incredibly talented artists, incredibly funny & incredibly professional.

Nice shop. Clean appropriate and professional. Ive been getting tattooed by JOSH P here and there for about 8 years now. Ive watched josh grow nd progress as an artist in ways others have not. Before any profession comes practice. I was joshs first tattoo. 8 years later I still continue to follow josh and get tattooed by him. I’ve known Scott for a few years now and he’s done every tattoo on my body. For me it’s not jus about the tattoo even though they kill those but the overall experience will keep you coming back. I could sit 10 hours with Scott and it feels like I’m jus hanging out with my buddy. Extremely talented, hard working, intricate ink should be your destination for all your tattoo thoughts and needs

Jonathan was very patient, kind and professional and he did an amazing job on my tattoo! The shop was clean and quiet and all other staff members were friendly as well. I can’t wait to go back for my next tattoo!

Very well done and had ideas to make my previous tattoos from other shops look even better which means they don’t just care about their personal artwork they want you to have good ones when they can easily just ignore it when deep down they know it’s not good but that shows Caring and insightfulness.
