I called this shop to ask a question about my decades old ear piercings and Nic was kind enough to field my questions (even though my piercing was not done here.) In a 5 minute phone call, he helped solve a problem that I’ve had for nearly a year now and that had previously stumped my dermatologist. He absolutely did not owe me any of his time but gave it nonetheless, and I’m very appreciative! It was above and beyond gracious of him. I can tell Nic is very thoughtful and I look forward to patronizing his business in the future and recommending him to anyone I can. Thank you Nic!

We have been here twice before for piercings. Nic is AMAZING. He is courteous, professional, and personable. He let us know what to expect at every step, how to care for the new piercing, and let us know how to get a hold of him if we had ANY questions. Very friendly and clean environment. I brought my daughter here to get a piercing and they did an amazing job explaining the procedure and process. They were able to make her comfortable in an otherwise nervous circumstance.

Let me start off by saying this is one of the best experiences I’ve had in a tattoo shop so far. I went in for a nose piercing. The shop was very clean, the people were extremely nice. Do not recommend. I got my nose pierced here a few months ago and it has been a nightmare! Prior to visiting, I did not know that having a nose ring is more prone to infections/bumps than having a nose stud. I followed their cleansing instructions, but have had to make multiple phone calls and visits to the shop to get the jewelry adjusted and to get more information on treating the piercing bump. I will visit a trusted dermatologist soon to treat the issue. Lots of wasted money, time, and stress. I would hope that a professional piercer would not advise getting a nose ring until the piercing is fully healed.

My wife got her ears pierced again. Never had service myself . Place is clean and very nice employees.Want to get another tat and I will prolly get one here . Love the art and visions they have.

This shop was nicely kept. Small and not intimidating. This was my first piercing that was not my ears, so I was nervous. Nic did our piercings and was so kind and informative. He answered all my questions before I even asked, and it calmed my nerves. I definitely recommend them for piercings. I did not get a tattoo, so I cant speak to that.

Went in to get my daith pierced! It was done by Nic. Nic did such a great job. Quick, clean and efficient! They come highly recommended by a bunch of shops locally, now I see why! I managed to get this done as a walk in and on my lunch break!

I’m exchang student! I got a nose piercing. That was not hurt. He is really kind. My nose was swollen the next day because I had a metal allergy and could only get gold. This shop is really clean. The price is expensive compared to my country, but it is convincing.

Came back for my second round of piercings and Nic was awesome! love the vibes in the shop and the great customer care. Piercings were easy and Nic was patient with everything and on point! I got a cartilage piercing (helix) here. The man who pierced my ear was amazing! He was very hygienic and explained every step of the process. The aftercare procedures were thoroughly explained. My piercing is healing very nicely. I will be coming here for any future piercings!

I got my tongue pierced by Nick and I am extremely happy with the experience and result. He showed me each tool he used and how they were packaged and sanitized individually. He talked me through the whole process to make sure I was comfortable and the piercing itself was quick and painless. Very thorough with the procedure and aftercare instructions. He also pierced my friends nose and went through the same detailed process with her. Its been five days and my tongue already feels almost back to normal! Only place ill be going to from now on!

Nic was super friendly, explained exactly what his tools were, what he was going to do, and what I should expect from my piercing. He made sure I knew how to contact the shop if anything went wrong with my piercing and I was also given the sea salt needed to clean it, which is super helpful.

Very clean and professional. I got my nipples pierced here, and a friend who came with me got her septum pierced. Nic was extremely nice and explained everything he would be doing before starting. I was so nervous, and he immediately put me at ease. He showed me the sterilized needles and clamps he would be using for my piercings, and he gave me thorough aftercare instructions. I havent worn the tradional earrings for years in my ears. Top of ear & double lobes.Nic was great explained what happens when they close and why I wasnt able to wear hypoallergenic earrings in my ears. I got small hoops. Ill be going back for my helix. Very clean professional!

I got my nose pierced here, and Nic did a fantastic job. It looks perfect, and he explained the process very thoroughly. He answered all of my questions (I am not very experienced with piercings), and made the process as painless as possible. The studio is very clean and professional. This was the best piercing experience I have ever had. Nic was so informative and walked you through every step and play by play what he was doing. My experience at Twisted Vision was excellent! Nic pierced my ear and also did my sister’s piercings on the same visit. I have had several piercings over the years (done in different cities) and this was by far the best care I’ve ever had. Nic was meticulous about placement of the new earrings, after care procedure, and made himself available for any issues. I actually did email him since I bruised badly and he quickly responded and reassured me it looked normal in the photos. I typically get keloids after piercings, but this was done so well that I hardly had any scarring. My sister also needed help with the removal of the post after it healed, and he gladly helped as well. Overall, Nic is a really skilled piercer in the Peoria Area, and I plan to come back for an orbital piercing this summer. Thank you Nic!:)

Went to get my tounge pierced and Nic was amazing he went over everything and made me feel comfortable. In and out under 20 mins. Also said if I have any questions not to hesitate to reach out to him. Twisted vision is clean and very professional I highly recommend this place if you need any work done.

I got 3 piercings done from Nic about a month ago. I got my forward helix, tragus and rook piercing done and all three of them failed miserably. My rook and tragus (pierced on the same side) immediately got infected because Nic pierced my rook too far into my ear that caused a part of my ear to cover the piercing and not allow for swelling. This mixed with a sea salt mixture he advised me to use, despite my wanting to use STERILE saline solution, caused my piercings to get severely infected. All of this ill advice and terrible placement resulted in a trip to my closest urgent care and cost me a total of $300 to remove my infected piercings. My last piercing was my forward helix on my other ear and as of today the back post just fell out when I was cleaning it. Not once in the 8 piercings Ive had done has that ever happened. Ive tried putting the post back in but due to swelling and risk of infection Ive decided to give up. I would not recommend him to anyone who wants their piercings to last, I should have trusted my gut not to make an appointment and that mistake cost me over $400.

I went to Twisted Vision 8/14/18 to get piercings with one of my friends. Nic was amazing! I’ve been to multiple piercing/tattoo shops and this was my favorite. Everything is so clean! He talked everything out with us, down to packaging. He even made us watch him put used materials in the sanitize buckets and used needles in the sharps container. If you are interested in getting a piercing, go here! Will be returning!!

Nic is great!! I got my nose pierced last night by him. He talked to me the whole time and made sure to tell me EVERYTHING about after care. He made sure I seen that everything he used was packaged, clean and sterile. He also made sure that I seen he put the needle in the safety box on the wall. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

Nic has pierced my ears about 5 times and I would never consider going anywhere else! He walks you through everything hes going to be doing, all the things youll feel, and the sterilization process as well. Hes a really nice, friendly guy and is easy to talk to as well. If youre thinking about a piercing, dont go anywhere else!

Nic was my piercer for my septum, but today he helped me figure out my ear lobe piercings! They ended up both being open, and he was happy to help me pick out jewelry, as well as change out my septum ring. Very helpful, clean, and kind environment!

My daughter got a piercing the day before her 18th birthday. Im so impressed that they still required me to come with her and fill out paperwork as her guardian. Also very pressed with the cleanliness of the shop, all tools used were sealed in sterile packaging, and he did a great job of explaining what he was doing, and was thorough with after care instructions as well as giving us printed instructions and encouraging us to call in if we have a y questions at all.

I got my tongue pierced here by Nic. He was very professional. He showed me the needle and my piercing while they were still in the packages so I would know they were sterile and did a great job with my piercing. It has healed well and can wear anything I want in it.

Very clean and fairly priced. I loved that they go over the after care in great detail. Very friendly. Cant wait to be back for additional piercings.

Just witnessed one of my friends get pierced by Nic. He was extremely friendly, funny, and made the entire process very enjoyable for not only my friend but for me to watch as well! He was very informative regarding explaining the process, verbally explaining what he was doing as he was doing it, talking to you during the process, even explained aftercare in detail, and answered all of our questions!After having had a bad experience at a different company which resulted in me having to remove the piercings, witnessing Nic and his expertise instantly sold me on coming to him when Im ready to get them redone! Ive witnessed friends get piercings by professionals across the state, and never have I seen it done so professionally and properly.Might as well stop your search for a prospective piercer and simply schedule an appointment with Nic (although he was even willing to take my friend as a walk in right before close!). You seriously will not be disappointed.

My friend and I got a couple piercings done by Nic yesterday. Both the business itself and his personal work station were very clean and organized. Nic was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We will both definitely be returning customers.

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided here! From looks alone, the building appears clean, and the piercing room sterilized. I got my first real piercings today and Nic easily quenched any anxiety that I felt. From start to finish, Nic was very professional and answered any questions I had. He walked me step by step before starting, and made sure to explain each part with detail. I greatly appreciated his effort to emphasize the sterility of each tool and jewelry. Before each piercing (5 in total), he told me what he was doing and asked if I was ready. When confirmed, he then counted the piercing and paired it with a breathing technique that minimized pain. Nic made sure to walk me through the aftercare steps needed and the do’s and don’ts of piercing aftercare before and after the piercings. I’m stoked about how the earrings look and can’t wait until they are healed so I can return for more!

This was my first time going to a piercing parlor to get an ear piercing (I got my lobes done at claires when I was a kid). I was getting my tragus pierced, and I was a little nervous because I didnt know what to expect, but this was a worry free experience. As soon as I got there, Nic welcomed me in and walked me through every single step of getting signed in and ready. The facility was extremely clean and sterile. Nic let me pick out my jewelry and then went to get the paperwork for me to fill out, which was all super easy to understand, even for someone who hasnt ever gotten a cartilage piercing before. Once we got back to the room, he showed me all the equipment he was going to use and walked me through the purpose of each. When he started the piercing process, he talked me through every single step as it was happening, which made the whole process super easy and comfortable. After it was done, he explained every step of cleaning it and gave me the required materials. The overall cost was $45, which was incredibly reasonable. Overall an amazing and effortless experience; will be going back.TLDR: Nic was super friendly and informative, they had super clean facilities, and it was an amazing experience.

My go to place…Nic pierced my inner ear (conch) almost a year ago. I wanted to change out the earring and he mentioned that it was still semi healing and to use tea tree to help with a little scarring that I had. I did just that and returned today to get a new gauge and everything went smooth. He is the best. I must mention how clean and sterile the entire shop is!!! We even discussed me doing a stretch piercing. He gave me pros and cons as well what to expect when I start doing such. I would definitely recommend for any of your piercing needs!

I went into Twisted vision about 5 months ago for my daith, triples, and second cartilage piercing. Nic walked through everything with me, including the sterilization of all of the materials being used. They are by far the best-done piercings that I have.He did fantastic at the piercing positioning and everything was fairly painless. I was worried about how my ear would react to the Daith piercing (I have sensitive ears and I had seen swollen Daith piercings before) but I never experienced any negative reactions. It was a little red for the first day but no swelling ever.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!(photo shown was taken immediately after being pierced which is why the upper ear looks slightly red)

Very professional and super nice. Went with a friend when she got a peircing and he explained everything very thoroughly and everything was clean. Also was nice because they take covid checking seriously.

Was referred and told they will fit you in but when i contacted them for the small tattoo ever was told no. I was driving 2 hours to get there and good money in hand and was declined. Wasnt even asked if i wanted to schedule for another day. Bad business.
