I had gotten my cartilage pierced back in April with Banter/Piercing Pagoda in Gastonia and everything was fine until I tried to change it out. I went back to Banter In Gastonia and bought a three pack of cartilage earrings. I asked the girl at the counter if she could please help me to take the old earring out and put the new one in, and she told me no she could not. Purchased the earrings anyway and went home And tried for three hours to put them in with no success. I decided to go to The Banter in Pineville, North Carolina, and Bree was amazing. She had just gotten to work, snd right away, she came over and helped me. She got my earring in with no problem and told me if I ever needed help again, to come back. I felt this girl just needed a shout out because she rocked!!!

Had a great experience today at the Carolina Place location. Both my daughters got their cartilage pierced by the nice man who was the store manager. He was very friendly and made them feel very comfortable. We had some good laughs and it will be a nice memory for us. Piercing was free with the price of one pair of earrings between the two girls.

Beware of the warranty.When I went to exchange my diamond butterfly earings, I had to pay.

I came here in December for my birthday to get a 4th hole in both my ears. Im obviously not new to the whole ear piercing and cleaning them thing. Literally 4th hole in one and 5th in the other. First of all - the girl working that day didnt even acknowledge me for at least 10 minutes. (First red flag - should have gone somewhere else). 2nd, she barely even said 2 words the entire time. and 3rd, since that day, something seemed off with the piercing. Lo and behold, most definitely infected and really bad. Had to take the earrings out and now they are closing up (of course they would, I know that). But the fact that since day one something felt off AND the girl seemed like she could care less about being there? Not a good impression at all. Now Im going to have to get my ears re-done. Literally paid over $100 for these piercings/earrings and cant even enjoy them. For my birthday.

Pierced babys ear incorrectly and they couldnt come to consensus of time frame for repiercing (one employee said two days and one said one week). I didnt feel comfortable with the conflicting information so decided to have it fixed elsewhere after waiting an appropriate amount of time for healing (professional piercer recommended 6 weeks). They lacked empathy or compassion when I expressed that I did not want them to repierce and instead requested a refund. Store manager said I would only get a refund if we took out both earrings within 30 days versus allowing us to wait 6 weeks to repierce the one ear that was done incorrectly. Instead of acknowledging they made a mistake and working with us to correct it, they would rather us take out the one they did correctly, thereby requiring both ears to be redone instead of one. Certainly they are aware doing so exposes an infant to more pain and infection risk. Why not show some empathy for the situation they put us in and allow us to wait an appropriate amount of time for healing in order to repierce just one ear? Corporate said there is nothing they can do since refund decisions are up to individual store managers. Horrible company that cares more about money than people.

We had 2 employees pierce my infant’s ears at the same time, but one of them pierced the ear at a diagonal angle. I wanted to leave it alone, but we got multiple opinions from multiple actual professionals, who said leaving it that way would cause pain and essentially repiercing the ear herself every time she changed her earrings in the future, and it was best to remove, let it heal, and repierce it. Banter said they would repierce it, but in my research, I discovered that piercing with a gun is never a safe option, as they cannot be properly sanitized in between piercings and it is difficult to ensure a straight and even piercing when using them. Had I done my research as I should have beforehand, I would have never taken her here to begin with. Horrible experience, horrible customer service, and I am now stuck paying for my baby’s ear to be pierced twice since Banter could give no refund unless I trusted them to repierce her ear with the unsafe gun (absolutely not), or took the other earring out before it was healed and could give them both earrings within 30 days. I was also charged an extended warranty for both earrings (2 warranty charges) without permission and didn’t realize this until we got home, since this was done without my permission.

I had a great experience with Amber from the Carolina Place Mall! I called her about an issue that I was going to take up with corporate and she asked me what was wrong! I told her and she said I would be more than happy to help you out and she did just that! She took car of me like she said and I would recommend my friends and family to go shop with her!!!!

Beware of charging for a warranty without your permission.I bought three items today (11/13/2021) and after the woman rung up my order she said my total and explained the warranty covered a year of any defects such as stones falling out. I didnt think anything of it at the time, just assuming they back their products.When I got home, I saw three charges for each product for a warranty. I was never asked if I wanted an extended warranty, nor told I was being charged, or told of any added cost. I assume the associate makes a cut of warranties and thats why I was charged without permission. Deceptive and disappointing.

I had the WORSE experience here today! The manager at the time I went Jess was RUDE, and turned her back on me and ignored me as I was trying to get things settled with a refund. She had an employee give me a 800 number and my items back and they no longer wanted to assist me!!!! Customer service skills were very poor, definitely will not purchase here again! New management is needed!

The service I received here was fantastic. The lady answered all my questions. I didnt buy anything however, and they were not upset and wished me a good day. Im not sure if everyones experience will be like this. However mine was a good experience.

I purchased a chain from this location and the lady asked me if I wanted to put the protection on it incase it gets damaged. I told her no , but she talked me into getting it. A few months later , I broke my chain. I returned to the store and the same girl was there that sold it to me. The warranty was so easy all I did was give her my old broken necklace and she gave me a brand new one ! I didnt have to pay any money or anything ! So glad she talked me into getting the warranty on it! She was so nice and helpful both times she helped me. Very pleased with this service they offer. I will definitely be returning when I need more jewelery !

My 3 year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced. I called and made sure that two employees would be there. My daughter selected her earrings and then the two employees quickly pierced her ears at the same time. My daughter started to freak out when she felt the earrings, but a quick acting employee grabbed a lollipop to calm her down.

Brought my 3 daughters for 2nd piercings. Andrew was amazing!! Highly recommend.

I had brought my 6 month old daughter here and I was lucky enough to have the manager to do her ears. He was great professional and made me feel so comfortable with my baby and her ears came out great!

I took my 5 yo to get her ears pierced today Jan 27th. My daughter wanted them, but when she got there she was scared. She kept saying “no i want them, but I’m just scared” These ladies were so amazing and patient, one of them even stayed over her shift so my daughter could have both of them pierced at the same time. Our appointment was for 4:30 and for an entire hour my daughter kept saying okay let’s do it and as soon as the ladies lined her ears up with the piercing tool, she would move her head or put her hands up. They did nothing but encourage her and let her know that she didn’t have to do it. My daughter kept saying “I do want them, I’m just scared”. They repeatedly explained the process to her, they assured her they would only pierce on her go ahead. I was getting nervous I had already paid for them but was not going to force her either. They won’t refund the money because the earrings were opened. I totally understood that, and the ladies obviously didn’t want to have us leave without the piercings after paying for them. They waited for her to be ready, playing around with her. Just exuding nothing but kindness, patience and understanding. Finally about 5:45 she was ready and she did not shed a tear. She handled it so well and she was so excited to have her earrings in her ears! The ladies celebrated with her and I will never forget that! I wish I remembered their names (I remember one, but don’t want to acknowledge one Over the other) they were amazing. I highly reccomend this Pineville Piercing Pagoda, for first time piercings. I cannot thank them enough!! My daughter is elated and showing everyone her ears!! This would not have happened had these awesome women not been so phenomenal at making her feel so comfortable and working through her reservations with her!!! 10 stars !!

Disappointed in the customer service. My wife attempted to get her ears pierced. She walked up at 5:30 and discussed the process of getting it done. At 5:32, with little motivation, they told her that she couldnt get it done because it was after 5:30. They had no sympathy for her and seemed to be careless. I thought the goal was to satisfy the customer because the customer comes 1st, perhaps not.

The manager was very professional and helpful and we will definitely be coming back for more jewelry

These ladies know what they are doing!!!! I love them. They are always sweet and extremely helpful. They are priced much better than Claires and have so much experience!

My piercing is done in a diagonal shot instead of a straight line kind of piercing. This hurts every day and cant do anything as the piercing cant be undone. I had to tell to do it on the inside and straight on the other ear. Which is why that ear doesnt hurt as much.I will never go here again.

Got a nose piercing here. The lady that did my piercing was very friendly. Called 2 weeks later to let them know my nose ring had come out the lady was very rude. Called again thr lady hung up on me without answering my question . Very rude! Will not come back here again!

Would recommend to everyone looking for first time piercings took my daughter to get one of her ears pierced again after her eat piercing got infected from bad earrings (from somewhere else) and she was already traumatize after it been infected and how painful it was to remove them so as you can probably guess she didn’t want anyone near her ears but the lady’s were calm and worked together while my husband held her and they gave her a lollipop and that was just to put the earring on the one that was already pierced and then another after piercing the 2nd one.
