Tys Tattoos

KC did a couple tattoos and a piercing for me today and he did an amazing job! My tattoos are perfect and look even better than I imagined and my piercing is cute :) He explained everything to me thoroughly and everything was super clean and professional. I would 100% recommend him for either and I will definitely be back again.

It’s not often these days you meet a truly amazing human that exudes love and kindness. Ryan went above and beyond to make my niece’s first tattoo experience memorable, meaningful and therapeutic. He also made time to tattoo my daughter while we were there. We spent hours chatting, relating and healing. Highly recommend him for outstanding art and incredible moral fortitude. 🖤

After my bad experience at Integrity Arts tattoo shop, I called Tys Tattoos and asked if they did dimple cheek piercings. I was actually on the phone with Ty himself and he said he was busy later that day, but if i wanted them done today it would have to be soon. I asked if I could come down right at that moment and he was more than happy to have me! Once I got there the vibe was WAY better than Integrity and I felt way more comfortable. Immediately I filled out my consent form and he got me set up. My cheeks are a little thicker and I wanted my piercings placed farther back on my cheeks. My left cheek was the first one to get pierced and that side was tricky. We struggled for a bit because I needed a longer bar than the first one he grabbed, but after we got the right size bar for the piercing in my left cheek, the right one went by like a breeze! Im SUPER happy with it and in love with looking at myself! He then proceeded to get the card machine to charge me and then he said You know what, give me a high five. Im not going to charge you. I was flabbergasted 😁 he made my day with my piercings, then he made it 1,000x better! I will forever give my loyalty to Tys Tattoos and ANYTIME I need a new piercing or tattoo youll find me there! Will also be recommending anyone and everyone I know to Tys Tattoos, the vibes were family friendly and welcoming ☺️. Also Ty is super nice!

The staff here are kind and the place is really clean, but I dont plan on going back. I got my ears pierced and my sister got her belly button pierced. Both of ours rejected, despite us following the piercing aftercare to the T. Ive been told by friends with piercings that I was given improper aftercare advice, as well. Also, the piercers who had to take out my jewelry said the quality of it made it hard for my piercing to heal. Overall, Ive heard amazing things about their tattoos, but I would recommend going somewhere else for piercings

Absolutely the best! I had the pleasure of working with Ryan on my tattoo. He was so knowledgeable and was incredibly accommodating to my requests. I will for sure be a repeat customer.

I never thought I would be posting what Im about to say. I have dealt with Ty for 4 or 5 years and conciderd him a friend until now. He blew my back piece out in several places. He also shaded outside the lined on most of the back piece. When I talked with Ty about this he blew up, was completely unprofessional and ultimately left me with a mess for someone else to take care of. He also ripped me off keeping money that he did not do work for. I will be posting before and after pics at a later date. Sadly I would not recommend using Ty when looking for a tattoo artist.

The work that Ty does is beyond words! He’s an exceptional artist, but also an amazing person! His whole shop is clean, professional, and he will go out of his way for his customers! If you are wanting a septum piercing or a piercing don’t let Ty do it he put my septum In crooked and not even close to the right spot, and I didn’t even move he even said I did great but his piercing skills are not at all n now I have to redo it bc I ended up running into other problems plus I know he’s messed up a lot of Other peoples piercings as well that I ended up finding out after it was done smh.

If I could give them 100 stars I most certainly would. Ty is professional, sanitary, and most importantly caring. Not only does he represent the shop, but his work speaks for itself. Best in town, and I wouldnt go to anyone else. He walked me through the whole process and filled me in on some information that I didnt know. He is the GOAT, always has been the GOAT, and always will be the GOAT. (Greatest Of All Time)

Love, love, love Tys. Ive gotten tattoos from two of the artists, KC and Tony. They go above and beyond to please their customers and do their best work every time. I love the shop and the atmosphere, will definitely be coming back for more tattoos!

I recently moved to Pocatello for my graduate studies at ISU and immediately started looking around for a tattoo parlor to get a couple pieces done to commemorate my accomplishments in life and goals as a student. When I started asking around my department and the broader university community I was repeatedly directed to Ty’s while being warned about the other shops in town. I looked up Ty’s Tattoos and it turned out that their convenient location near campus made it easy for me visit the shop and talk to the artists before committing to my first appointment. I spoke to Ty when I called in to see if anyone had time to look at my Tattoo designs and was encouraged to stop by that afternoon when they would have the time to chat about my needs as a customer and extrapolate upon what I was looking for in an artist. When I later swung by I was given a cup of coffee and introduced to Lee, the gentleman who turned out to be my future artist. My first impression of the shop was that the staff were very friendly, the parlor itself is was cool and super clean, and the family vibe is exactly what I hoped for. I really liked Lee so we discussed prices and scheduled a couple sessions.I have now spent over 20 hours in the shop and Lee has far exceeded all of my expectations of being highly skilled, chill, and professional artist. The comradery felt in this shop has made every minute of it an enjoyable experience and I have frequently seen all of the artists who work there interact with each other, and their clients. I can say with all honesty that everyone one of them is very supportive of each other, friendly, and genuinely loves their clientele. Regardless of piercing, first time tattoo, or extended sessions, Ty and crew are very patient and will walk you through the entire process. They are very attentive, imaginative, light handed, and skilled. But above all else, they are all fun as hell to hang out with for a few hours or even multiple full-day sessions. I have always had a wonderful experience at the shop and I whole-heartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to get inked or pierced.

The fact that Ty pushed though being sick to start on my tattoo shows just a fraction of this man’s devotion to his customers. Like I’ve already told everyone, if you’re looking for a tattoo, piercing, eyebrows, anything that Ty’s tattoos can do, go to them! They deserve to get best in idaho again and again! My husband had an appointment scheduled out for months with one of the so called best artists in town. After he flaked on him 3 times, we called Lee who was recommended to us by a friend. Not only was Lee able to accommodate my husband and get him in quickly, he did a better design than the other artist had worked up and the tattoo is flawless. Already booked to add more to it. Hands down the best tattooist weve ever had. Highly recommend!

I got my labret pierced here, and had a amazing experience! The piercer was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely kind, and very professional. KC is an amazing artist and fun to talk to.

Overall a great experience! Our artist was able to squeeze us in last minute which was amazing! And he was so quick I barely felt anything and it took less than 5 minutes. He was also very patient and made sure we got the right size and placing we wanted.The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because it was extremely pricey for two words especially because my sister and I got matching ones so all he had to do was change the needle for hers. I understand overhead cost but after tip I spent close to $200 for four words.

Tys Tattoo was hands down the best tattoo parlor Ive been too. His shop was very clean, he was the cheapest I could find, and he was the nicest tattoo artist ever. Did my tattoo exactly how I wanted, and when I wanted it moved around, he didnt get upset or anything, like the previous tattoo guys I have been to that are in Boise. Will definitely be going back next time I go to Pocatello.

I was just going in to see if they could do a small cover up with a memorial piece. All the signs said no walk-ins, appointment only. That was fine, because I was just wanting to know if it could be done. I didnt even have a reference piece yet. I spoke with KC. He was super sweet, very friendly. I told him what i was looking to get and he took me back to draw something up on my skin. He ended up tattooing it for me right there. I was so pleased with it, and with him. This was my second time being inked at this shop and both times were phenomenal. Every one here is wonderful.

I had 2 separate appointments with Tony do my arm a few months back and both days he failed to finish what I had asked him to do. I also asked if he could fix a few spots where his lines overlapped and he told me oh it’s ok nobody will notice!!!And the price was outrageous for work that was never completed!! I had someone else finish it I was very annoyed!!

I have been to every tattoo & piercing store in Pocatello and tys tattoos is hands down the best place to go. He is very educated in what he is doing and is very professional and down to earth. The store is always very clean and well kept up and he doesn’t charge a fortune for jewelry.
