Dark Child tattoo and piercing is a family owned shop. I think that’s kind of unusual and refreshing. The place was clean and everyone was really friendly. Not an intimidating tattoo shop at all. My new tattoo came out great and my aftercare instructions were very complete. I highly recommend Dark child tattoo. Thank you to the Padilla family for making my experience a comfortable one.

Dark Child Tattoo is such a welcoming and friendly place. I went in with an idea for a tattoo to honor the memory of my mother and Illyana’s vision and creativity absolutely exceeded my expectations!!! Being a family owned shop really made it special for me. My family will never go anywhere else.

Absolutely LOVE this shop!!! I am an extremely picky mother and I don’t just take any of my children to get pierced anywhere! These is the ONLY place all of girls have gone to and will ever go to!! Nose and belly button piercings were all completely professional and informative!!! If your thinking of getting a piercing done I say Hell yeah go here!!

I went here yesterday 7/8/23 with my daughter I was amazed how friendly they were and so family oriented we had a great experience my daughter was smiling ear to ear very happy with her piercing. Ariel and his family are the absolute best! True talent. Plus they make you feel so welcomed and comfortable, getting a tattoo/piercing done with them is an amazing experience! Ariel is currently working on my sleeve and let me tell you- everywhere I go, everyone is always amazed at the work on my arm. I love showing it off!

Paid 20$ to get my piercing changed and 4 days later the ring falls out of my ear. What kind of piercer doesnt know how to properly get a piercing in? Never going back here. Go to a better studio. Theres many.

Great experience they make you feel like family. Went in and explained what I was looking for and came out way better than expected and pricing is very reasonable. Ariel and his wife along with his two very humble adult children were all so professional and knowledgeable in their craft. I never thought I would get a tattoo but the one I received has immense special meaning to me. AHHHH THEY ARE GOATED MY PIERCING DIDNT EVEN HURT AT ALL

Had my belly pierced about three years ago. Never had infection and everything was good for about four weeks and then suddenly Something Happens. When I called them they said to me wait for it to heal. So I went into the winter time and just we had a pierced about four months ago. Again I did not have an infection but I don’t know if it’s the product that they’re using that isn’t long enough for the ball to sustain and it fell out again. And even though I am showing that I am a returning customer they’re not willing to help or fix it. Too many other places in Suffolk County that told me they would do it for free

I had called several studios in the area before I called Dark Child. Not only were they extremely fair with pricing, they also set an appointment so we did not need to wait. I highly recommend them for piercings. They were very professional, took there time and kept my daughter as ease. I left there extremely happy with our experience .

Have been coming to this place for more than 2 years for all my tattoo work. Family owned and run, wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. Also it is by far the cleanest place I have been to and I’ve been to many shops all over the country, and every room is private.

Very disappointed. My handicapped family member came in for a standard flower tattoo. She was overcharged hundreds of dollars. The work was could be better for amount she charged. I seen work twice as good half the money. I showed another tattoo artist this work and he said this would normally cost around 100 to 150. The session was short as well. Dont take advantage of people. The original price quoted was even more I advised her to go to a different shop in the future.

As far as the lady saying the shop takes advantage of people she has no clue what she is talking about. I started a sleeve in January and nothing but the best service and work. As far has handicap people I have seen very special treatment for handicap people while being tattooed myself. When my sleeve is done I will post pictures. I highly recommend dark child and anyone that works there. You can never go wrong with a family run shop!!!!!!!!!

I went in yesterday to cover up an awful tattoo. Well I am blown away with how well they did. Ariel was great. He was funny to talk with and his attention to detail is unrivaled. This is a family run business and I am pretty sure I met all of them yesterday lol. Such good people. Dark child is worth every penny. I will not go anywhere else.Thank you for righting a wrong from so long ago.

Ive been going to Dark Child Tattoo for the past 2 years and now they are like family to me. The first time I went was to fix and add more tribal to my arm which Caryn did an excellent job and now I cant stop going back. Ariel is what I believe to be one the most professional and talented tattoo artist out there. Everytime I bring him ideas of what i want for my next tattoo, he goes above and beyond my expectations. Dark child is not your ordinary tattoo shop the crew there are wonderful, amazing people and there quality of their work speaks for itself.

I had my eyebrows tattooed by Aja at Dark Child Tattoo Parlor four weeks ago. I am so pleased with my results. Aja was amazing. She was professional and patient. At my initial appointment she explained everything in detail down to the sterilization of the tools and what she would be doing step by step. The appointment came with a complimentary touch up appointment which was much appreciated as my right eyebrow needed touching up. I highly recommend Aja for eyebrow tattooing. The shop staff are all so friendly and make you feel right at home. My experience was a great one and plan to have a tattoo done there in the future. Thank you Aja! :)

I wanted to go to a local shop to get the wife a tattoo for her birthday as a surpise, did some internet surfing came across the dark child. What i liked first about the shop was that it was a family that owned and worked it...Secondly the art work online was amazing... We are very happy with the workmanship as well as the staff.. As time pasted waiting for the wife to finish her tattoo i was treated like family their. As my tattoo begin Aja the artist continued to treat me as family..the only issue i have with the place is that I had not found it sooner .. Thank you Dark Child family see you soon

Iconic, trailblazing tattoo business with multiple, highly trained & amazingly talented artists. If youre looking for a new place to get your ink, run, do not walk!! My personal artist there is Aja-Noelle, her lines are incredible. Dont take my word for it, go see for yourself!

I got a piercing here and the piercer used a butterfly back earring and not a flat back or barbell with the ball... i had to go straight to another tattoo shop to get it switched out to the proper jewelry. waste of $60edit: When i saw the jewelry it was packaged and i didn’t notice that it was a butterfly back and i didn’t pay attention to that i just decided between a gem or silver ball because i assumed that a flat back/barbell would be used since that’s how it is in every other tattoo shop and when i got it switched out by another piercer she asked me if i got it done at piercing pagoda because she was shocked that a normal stud earring was used. Also, the skin doesn’t grow over the piercing when using a flat back when the right sized bar is used. AND flatbacks aren’t even used for rooks, curved barbells are.

Ive drove 6.5 hours to get my tattoos done on numerous occasions. Ariel and his family are the best.James.

EXTREMELY TERRIBLE customer service they are not nice at all, As you can see by how they reply to reviews. A bunch of my friends went there and they’ve all had a non pleasant experience with how they were treated.

Got a tattoo here paid $200, the tattoo looks unfinished and not aligned, I had to go to another place to finish it and fix all the mixtakes that was done
