Nicest people! This studio has a very clean, comfortable environment, and great artists. I really like the people who work here and we are looking forward to going back again. I know getting a tattoo can be intimidating, and some tattoo shops can make you feel that way. But this place not only does great work, they make the shop very inviting. Justin is a great artist and does wonderful work and Katie is the nicest person ever.

I got an awesome tattoo from here. It’s the only place I would consider. I no longer live in the area, but when I’m in Atlanta, I plan on making an appointment to get more work done. The shop is extremely clean and neat. As an older person (it was my first and only tattoo at 56), I was really apprehensive. But everyone in the metropolitan Montgomery area, and several nearby counties recommended Outlaw. I made an consultation appointment first, talked to Steve, the owner, at length and he made me feel totally at peace. Best decision ever! I love my tattoo! It covers my entire back. It took about 5 hours. “Uncomfortable”? Yup. Painful? No. Steve’s experience (truly a gifted artist) as well as the experience of his team play a major role. Depending on what you’re having done, there may be a bit of a wait for your appointment. I had to book a month or so out for what I had done. My 4 year old granddaughter has informed me that I need 3 more butterflies to represent my grands. So, at some point, I’ll be back!!!

I brought in my own custom design, and Sydney did a fantastic job with my tattoo. The shading is on point, the lines sharp. I wasnt sure about my original plan to put color in the banners because I kind of liked the text on skin tone when I saw it; she offered to do it as a free touchup if I changed my mind, which I really appreciate even though Ive decided to keep it skin tone. Highly recommend, and I will happily go back for my next tattoo!

Always recommend. I think the most talented artists in Prattville are in this location. Prattville outlaw doesn’t pierce though, but Montgomery does!The first cat (that looks terrible) was from INK FACTOR. Don’t go there. The cover up of that was done by Sydney and I’m very happy with it! I also got a matching tattoo with my brother and get compliments on it all the time. I have a few more pieces I’ll add photos of later when I visit again.

Tory is awesome. He revived an old tattoo that was originally created by someone else. He is very down to earth, kind, and extremely talented. My tattoo is better now than when it was new. The shop overall is very welcoming and engaging. Everyone collaborates with each other, but Torys manner and abilities made the overall experience for me. I have gotten the majority of my tattoos from Outlaw - at both locations and by various artists over the years and they’ve all been great! Special shoutout to Alesha at the Prattville location.. I got three done by her in one month and I love them all! I’ll definitely be going back for more.

Ive had quite a few tats done at this business and Ive never felt I paid to much or didnt receive the quality I was paying for.There is a reason they have been around this long. And its because the owner hires those worthy of the outlaw brand. Great experience with Steve! Im in love with how it turned out. Went inside and was helped almost immediately. Consult took 5 minutes. Had to wait 10 days, because of his schedule which to me is a GOOD sign! The day finally came and he was patient with me when I changed my mind on the size. Rocked and rolled and came out with a beautiful tattoo of two realistic feathers! Great to hear that he doesnt do the same tattoo twice! Lots of compliments from friends and family, and one huge recommendation from me.

Sydney has done several tattoos for me. She and Steve took their time to meet and speak with me and make me feel at ease about a tattoo that needed to be completed and touched up from another artist in the area. They were professional and on point. I have also gotten a nose piercing by Kenny in Montgomery and had a great experience. My husband has used Justin for his tattoos and been pleased as well. Nothing but positive things to say about them all!

I have to say that Outlaw Custom tattoo has my loyalty as a customer! I started a piece with a different artist, it was unfinished and had some issues. I was upset and asked Outlaw (Steve) if there was anything he could do to help the piece. Not only was he extremely professional and kind but he validated my opinions and feelings by listening to me and hearing me out. We have begun the fix it process. The piece already looks 100 times better and the experience was wonderful! The environment is comfortable and extremely respectful! I was so happy that two days after my first appt with Steve I paid his other shop a visit and had my nose pierced! AND it was another amazingly wonderful experience! Their piercer is fantastically knowledgeable and wonderful to work with! I sent requests regarding information on 3 tattoos and a couple of piercings I would like before leaving the country. I have several months to get the work done, but I have heard nothing back. Im not used to having to chase anyone for work. I am new to the area, and I liked the information about the artists and piercer on the website. I hope I hear back from someone.2/15/2021I got a response from the owner today. I do not understand if email the artist is an option, why does it not work. I will be happy to come by the next time I am in Montgomery since the piercer is only in Montgomery.

I’ve been tattooed by Steve and Sydney. Every time it’s been an enjoyable experience. Tattoos still look super clean and solid. The environment is friendly and the cleanliness of the shop is exceptional.

Sydney did mine and my daughters first tattoos and she was amazing. We are very satisfied. My husband goes back next week for his, and I am already making plans for 2 more I want.!!

I went in for 3 tattoos and a piercing. They were very friendly and professional. The facility was clean. Kenny did an amazing job with my nostril piercing. They even sent me to the Prattville location only because they werent comfortable with one of the tattoos I wanted. They wanted me to have the best experience possible! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be back!

Steve and the others artists at Prattville and the Montgomery locations put out excellent work. You present your ideas and needs and they are happy to work with you to make your tattoo an artistic piece that you will have forever. I currently have 5 large tattoos that were done by Steve, the culmination of my ideas and his artistic skill. I have at least 2 more large pieces to go and of course Steve will be the designer and artist that makes them something fantastic. This is the only shop I will recommend.

Wife had her first tattoo done here and the actual work was done by the artist was great. However, the assistant at the shop walked out of the door as we walked in and never asked if we needed help. 10 minutes later one of the artist came out of his room during a break and helped. It took more than 3p minutes for her to return, staying that shes been to a convenience store that up the block. Then she misplaced the information on the tattoo and wasnt there when we returned to get the work done. The 4 stars is strictly off of my experience with the artist and his work.

Outlaw Tattoo is definitely the place to go for all of your tattoo & piercing needs. They have a truly talented group of artist. They can take your idea & create something you will be proud to show off. They are professional & friendly. The shop is clean, sanitary, & the artwork is amazing as well. I have had work done by both Blake & Steve. Steve just finished a cover-up piece for me, it turned out to be my best tatt yet!! He took something I hated for years & created something I will love for years to come! While there Caroline was doing her thing with the piercings as well! If you are looking to get ink go see these guys! You will need to make an appointment but that speaks volumes about their cliental. It is worth the wait, after all you will have it forever! If you expect the best the only place to go is Outlaw..

I went to the Prattville location to get my cartilage pierced on 8.22.15. This is my first piercing done on my own (I had lobes done with I was 3/4) I came into the store which is very well kept and clean and was greeted by a very nice lady named Caroline who also did my piercing.She went over everything with me, let me pick out the stud I wanted put in and the location I wanted it. She then gave me very clear after care instructions before hand and then went over the piercing step by step through the entire process.Everything was done very professionally and I am more than happy with the out come of my piercing and plan on getting another one done at a later time.

The people here are so great!! Im from Ohio and came down here to visit my family on my spring break, and was very excited to get a tattoo but nervous about going to some place outside of my comfort zone. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful, they were very caring about me and my tattoo today, and in the future. I didnt end up getting exactly what I came in wanting but Im so glad I listened to their suggestions. I would recommend coming here if youre from this area or even taking a trip just to come here. I will definitely come here again the next time Im in town. Thanks again guys, Im so glad I chose you!!!

I love this place! Great service, AMAZING work! Very professional! They all have great attitudes and are really easy to talk to. I was so worried about getting a tattoo that looked like a drunk guy used home made iron at a party with a result of squiggles. I almost got it at Ink Factor, but they are rude and conceited, so I left and came to Outlaw down the road. I will NEVER recommend Ink Factor to anyone. Outlaw is my #1!

I absolutely loved my experience at Outlaw Custom Tattoo! Steve, my artist, did an amazing job on my tattoo and I LOVE it! I could not ask for anything better. He made what I pictured in my head come to life on my skin. If there are any more tattoos in my future, Steve will be doing them.

So I got my first tattoo from this place by artist Sydney. All I can say is WOW!!!! She does phenomenal work. Extremely fast and accurate. Never thought I’d say this, but can’t wait for tattoo #2.

Got an angel sleeve done by Steve last month. He absolutely killed it. Steve not only worked with my time schedule but fixed a three year old tattoo done by an artist in Virginia. Highly recommend him at the Pratteville shop. Will definitely stop there for all my tattoo needs.

OUTLAW CUSTOM TATTOO is well organized, clean, and the staff are very professional. Nate is doing cover-ups on both of my daughters tattoos.The tattoo they wanted was in honor of their deceased grandmother and had been well thought out by them. The IFFY shop they went to for the tattoo did a terrible job. They were rude and condescending at the IFFY shop. Thinking that was the way tattoo shops were, my daughters went ahead with the tattoo. The artist messed it up so badly that a cover up is necessary. The IFFY shop even managed to tattoo the WRONG DEATH DATE on one of my daughters and tried to blame my daughter. We have the paper to prove they messed it up.I called Outlaw and spoke with the owner, Steve. He was confident that his shop could help fix this mess.The cover-up by Nate is only half-complete and already looks 100% better than the finished tattoo from the other shop. I really can not express how good this tattoo looks after one visit with Nate at Outlaw. He took his time, was patient and respectful with our questions. This has been a learning experience for my girls, but one thing we have all learned - not all shops are the same. I personally am not a fan of tattoos for myself, but if I were going to get one, I would definitely go see the guys at Outlaw. I would recommend this shop to anyone considering permanent art.

I got a tattoo done on my foot by steve ( 3 sessions about 15 hours total in the piece) not only was he professional, reasonably priced but his shop was so clean you could eat off the floors!!! Remember folks tattoos are permanent so be sure to do your home work on where you go. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! This shop is freaking AWESOME!!!!!!

I chose to get a tattoo here because of the great reviews. But I am not happy with what I have. To make a long story short, I wanted a blue heart tattoo on my wrist . This was my first tattoo. To make you guys aware, I am black. So when I showed up and told them what I wanted, they said they could do it. So I get it done, and I noticed it faded out a lot. So I go and get it redone and they tell me that I should just cover it black because color doesn’t show up well on dark skin. If they knew this information ahead of time then I don’t understand why they said they could do it in the first place ? They should have informed me on this before tattooing me, especially since this was my very first tattoo.

I literally just got my tattoo from Nate that works there and he was fast but good!! Nate did exactly want I wanted. I was supposed to get two tattoos but I tend to be a whimp so I chickened out and only got one but Nate was nice and understanding. I just got my nose pierced and I am 100% happy with my experience. Caroline, the one who pierced my nose, was kind and provided all the information I needed. Theyre also very clean and mindful of what the customer wants.

Almost 4 years ago I had a tribute portrait of my son inked on my shoulder by a local shop, as a memory piece to my son who was killed. It was pretty evident soon after that it favored but was not happy. After talking with Steve over time and seeing his shops work I set about letting him remodel and transform the ink that was there into a piece of art that I will treasure forever. He will do all of my work from now on, no matter the wait, nor the cost, a true class act, and an inkmaster

Blake in Montgomery is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! Very clean, friendly environment. I would recommend anyone wanting quality work done to go to the Montgomery or Prattville location. Definitely the best around.

As for the prattville location, Dont waste your time these people are rude as hell, unprofessional attitude wise & not welcoming at all. Youre better off going to outlaw in Montgomery, Kenny Hayden did my piercing there, he was professional and actually treated me with respect.

All I did was drop in for an inquiry and both people were so kind, professional, and very upfront. I hope to get my first tattoo there. We shall see!🤗

This place has good artists and a nice facility. But if you plan on getting ripped off then go spend your money somewhere else. I spent 600 dollars for something really worth 300 dollars. So dont let them rip you off.
