I have gotten my septum pierced, and my ears pierced at a 6 gauge, then tapered to 4 in order to fit the plugs I wanted. Matt, and Angelo both did a fantastic job! Matt did my ears, Angelo my septum. They do a great job of informing you about the jewelry, how healing will go, what you’re in for on the piercing itself, etc. There were a few times the shop got slammed, and they would divide, and conquer to get everyone helped, pierced, and happily on their way. Never met either of them before a few weeks ago, and now they feel like old friends. I won’t go anywhere else, and I will recommend Evergreen to anyone, for anything!

Angelo was very friendly and easy to talk to. He was very knowledgeable and informative. The jewelry selection was nice. I was able to get an appointment the next day. I moved from out of state and had hoped to find a new piercer. I believe I found the place.He helped me out with some other piercing that another artist messed up. Also a new one.

Matt is knowledgeable about his work and takes the time to explain why he follows certain practices and methods. I get nervous around needles but the genuine care that Matt shows toward his customers makes the whole experience positive. Matt’s emphasis on proper piercing methods, how to properly heal a piercing and cleanliness is why I won’t go to anyone else. I highly recommend Evergreen! Wow! I’m really impressed. SUPER Honest review… so I took my whole family, 7 year old, 14year old, 15 year old & 18 year old plus me getting a nose piercing and I am just blown away but the quality this place offers.When we first arrived on time , Matt was running behind but the super knowledgeable guy up front (so sorry I forgot his name 🤦🏼‍♀️) helped answer our questions and take our “jewelry orders” for our piercings. Both Matt and the other gentleman explained they were running behind and the store was packed with people patiently waiting. We weren’t sure how behind until nearly 2 hours later. Here’s the thing, I was starting to get a bit impatient until I realized that literally every person was getting the same level of care and consideration. Full attention, patience, kindness… no rushing etc.when it was finally our turn, it was like we never had to wait at all. He did the most amazing job talking to my neice and calming her nerves, my son and 2 daughters were all done smoothly and not one person complained it hurt. My oldest daughter did get flat piercings but she didn’t tell me how painful until after, but that goes with the territory with that one. My nose was way less scary than I expected and everyone left happy and thrilled with their new accessories. Thank you Matt for being so awesome. So thankful my friend referred me! And for taking such great care of my neice!

All the HYPE about Matt being the guy to go to for your little ones first ear piercing is ALL TRUE.I can’t say enough good things about our experience at EVERGREEN BODY MOD. From the moment we stepped in Matt and his other Associate were there to greet us and and keep us informed of how long it would be for our appt time. We had the opportunity to look at all of their jewelry and discuss the benefits of the difference and quality of the jewelry. Never once did we feel pressured into going with the most expensive. After we picked out our jewelry. It was a short wait for them to sterilize our earrings and prep the room for our turn. they took their time in measuring the precise point so that the earring were perfectly placed for our little one to grow in to. There was no need to ask questions because they had already gone over anything you could think of. Matt took the time to talk directly to our kiddo to make sure she was comfortable about what was going to happen and went step by step of what he was doing before he did it. My daughter didn’t even flinch with the first ear and after less than 30mins we were done and going over home care instructions. My daughter left with a beautiful set of purple sparkly earrings and a smile on her face. The next morning I asked her if her ears hurt, and she was quick to say NOPE!! There was absolutely no redness or puffiness the morning after. I am so happy that we found Matt through other’s recommendation and reviews. Money well spent!

I followed Matt from Clever Rebel, and I have to say- Its definitely a step up from that joint. I had scheduled for one piercing- although he was behind and had a waiting area, full of people waiting for him, he not only put in some jewelry that I brought in, but gave me four additional piercings.I love my piercings, they are Everything!!Matt is the best! He makes you feel comfortable and is completely professional about it. Hes one of three in the state that uses implant grade titanium. He accepts CASH only, but the services you receive here are worth the hassle...

20/10 would go here again! Show was clean and nicely decorated with a very welcoming vibe, a great selection on high end jewelry. Matt was professional and hilarious! If you are nervous, that will quickly fly out the window, his funny calm demeanor will relax you instantly. I went to Evergreen Body Mod to get my back dermals removed that I had done at another piercing shop years ago. I am BEYOND HAPPY with how it went! They were so nice and very careful when removing them. I will definitely be going back for any other piercings I may get!!

This is my go-to place for any piercing! Not only is everyone in there incredibly knowledgeable, but also very down to earth and chill :) I got both of my nose piercings done here and they have healed beautifully. My partner and I got our matching septum’s & my nose piercing here back in October, and Google would not let me leave a review for the life of me. My piercings have completely healed, and look amazing! This was our first time getting facial piercings other than our ears, and Matt made it so much more relaxing and fun throughout the whole process! Update: I just got my nipple piercings done by matt and as a female I felt completely comfortable and he was so professional and made the whole experience wonderful. If theres any females out there looking for a good piercer I highly recommend Matt here. I will always go to him for any and all piercings.I had gotten my septum pierced 4 times. FOUR. Two by two different piercers and they all healed crooked due to a slightly deviated septum. The third time was done by Matt here and was also healed crooked and by the fourth and final time we both figured out what the issue was, it was built up scar tissue. He pierced me with a freehand method the fourth time higher up right at the END of my cartilage and it fits my face so well, it has been over a month and it healed straight! I almost gave up hope but I love that he was able to find a way for me to enjoy a piercing I always wanted. It healed up so perfectly, and I will be going back to him for any piercings in the future and will always recommend him.

I was nervous for nothing, Matt made everything easy and kept me laughing throughout the process. Matts 20+ years of experience, knowledge, and professionalism was refreshing. He measured 3 times before asking me to check if I liked the placement for each piercing. I had such a great experience getting my nose done, that I went back 2 days later to get a second and third lobe piercing done before I flew back to D.C.There was a lot of jewelry to pick from and if you want a specific color Matt is able to anodize any piece of titanium! I’m in love with my Ice Blue disks, the stones he picked for my ears, and the aroura nose ring. Easy after care instructions and healing quickly. Everything was cleaned and sanitized. I can’t wait to come back for more!

I’ve gotten 5 ear piercings by Matt over the course of the past year. I’ve had a great experience with him and he has phenomenal customer service. One of my piercings wasn’t healing right and he did the absolute most to make sure it healed properly and that I was happy with my experience at Evergreen. Definitely recommend coming here for any type of piercing. He is super knowledgeable and great at what he does!

Matt is amazing! My twin 7 year olds were seen by him recently to have their ears pierced and I’ve had multiple piercings done by him as well over the past 5 years. I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Came in with my husband and each of us got a piercing done.First and foremost Matt was extremely friendly and just chilled with us making us comfortable which is something we needed. Not only was he knowledgeable in his piercings and aftercare he was knowledgeable in his jewelry and gave us his opinions on what he would do if he were getting this piercing. He legitimately walked us thru each and every step of the process and took his time in doing so. Definitely will be returning to this piercer for future needs/wants! He is amazing!

Since finding Matt and Evergreen Body Mod 6ish months ago, I’ve gotten 3 piercings and even more jewelry. Matt cares about his clients and Angelo is a great addition. Both of them clearly are passionate about what they do AND doing it correctly. They are chill and provide a relaxing environment but are serious about technique, jewelry quality, and aftercare. Piercings from them have healed better than ones from others. Plus their jewelry is GORGEOUS. I had to take out what was in my lobes because it didn’t match what they installed - 8 of 9 of what I have in are from them. Two of my pieces wound up in different spots based on their suggestions of where they’d fit best and they were so right. I can’t wait to keep adding more jewelry! And probably another piercing or 3.

Great selection but was mansplained at so hard.Went in for 6g plugs, and they had a nice selection, so I got some cute green ones.After I had purchased them, he started trying to upsell me.1. He said that titanium cant be externally threaded, so there is no way my jewelry is titanium. ---- This is insane. I work in manufacturing, and it is easier to externally thread than internally thread.2. Said that because my counch had issues in the past, it would have the same issues unless i replaced it with their jewelry. ---- I spent time working with my peircer to resolve the issue, and its been happy for close to 2 months.

Matt and Angelo are awesome. I got my vertical labret done by Angelo and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. He really went above and beyond and re-measured a couple times to make sure the piercing would be straight and the jewelry would look good on my lip. I love the way it looks! Matt pierced my daughters septum last month and was absolutely fantastic. His professionalism is top notch. He takes his time putting any of your nerves at ease and explains the process thoroughly before, during and after. My teen was a tough one to pierce as she has a deviated septum and anxiety with needles. Matt’s work is flawless and she tolerated the process better than I expected! Got our 8 month old baby girls ears pierced today. Matt was patient and very sweet having girls of his own. We had the whole family and our 2 year old included. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Great communication we will definitely be back to fix my wife’s previous piercings. Front area had great vibe and cute furniture wife enjoyed taking lots of pictures.

Super happy I chose Matt to pierce my daughters ears!! She was nervous but has been asking and finally decided to make the jump. Matt is very knowledgeable and caring, quick to ease the anxious client and super down to earth. The shop has a nice vibe and its clean from the walls to the floors. I didnt feel pushed to make any decisions solely based on selling the highest priced item. I was given options and explanations as I requested them. Pros:1. Matt is an APP piercer so he’s more knowledgeable than most piercers in the area.2. Quality jewelry to choose fromCons:1. I paid for 3 pieces of jewelry and he didn’t have the correct size for one of them so he said he’d call when the new order came in. I drove to his shop on 3 different occasions (when I lived 30 minutes away each direction), had to follow up for several months and never got the original piece I paid for. Upside was that he offered to pierce me at a discount for the inconvenience but still needed to pay for jewelry + tip and still ghosted me about my original jewelry after he pierced me. Still wish I had the original piece I paid for because now I’ll have to spend more money with another shop to get matching pieces.2. Plan to spend literally all day waiting in the front room or in town to get work done because he’s pretty scattered and tells you to come back later even when you have an appointment.

The other piercing shop I got my earlobes pierced at didnt give me clear and proper cleaning instructions, and I kept getting infections. After 2-3 months of dealing with it, I finally looked for other piercers to get some second opinions and Im glad it was Matts shop I chose. Its been about 1-2 months since I started getting seen by Matt and his apprentices, and they have been nothing but professional, knowledgeable and kind. Matt gave me a better cleaning instruction that helped with the healing process much more. Even though my piercing job was not his, he tried to give me the best advice according to what he saw. I also ordered a pair of custom studs through them (I needed them due to the nature of my job) and although it took some time, they kept me updated on the process and I finally have them!Its a small shop thats always busy and full of customers, and they are busy for a reason. Every piercing Ive received has been done perfectly! Matt is extremely educated about the work he is doing, and forgiving about anxiety. He always takes time to talk me through the process and makes sure I am happy with the result! I used to get chronic migraines, but after he pierced my daiths I havent gotten a single migraine. I came into the shop to get my ears pierced today after seeing all the great reviews, and I have to say, it was an even better experience than I expected! The owner Matt and his apprentice (I feel bad I forgot her name) were so welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and funny! I instantly felt at ease as it was apparent that they were both highly skilled and I was in good hands. Matt even went as far as to explain the products he uses, and why they are of the utmost quality. My friend and I even had a great conversation with him about his sweet bike. The shop was prestine and very fair on prices. Overall a fantastic experience!

I went to Matt for a piercing and he was so informative and great. I asked him to look at another one I had gotten from somewhere else that was causing me pain. He replaced my jewelry with something better fitting and better quality. He explained how my body was reacting and I felt instant relief. He is the best in the area. Dont overlook this place!

My best friend and I went in today to get piercings. We called a head of time and Matt the piercer was super nice and professional over the phone. We got to the shop and instantly Ava and Matt greeted us as we walked in and talked with us about the jewelry selection which was immaculate to be honest. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a piercing studio.It’s a super cute hole in the wall in Puyallup and definitely easy to miss if you don’t look for it. The inside is also super cute and has a welcoming environment. There’s also a shocking amount of seating for an shop with such a small footprint.The pricing is also amazing. There’s no math to be done- it’s a flat price for the piercing spot and the standard jewelry. Of course specialty jewelry is an additional charge, but just a basic piercing is easy to figure the amount on.The staff are also amazing. We were greeted immediately upon entering and given a thorough rundown when picking jewelry as well as great suggestions. I must say, I really appreciate that the jewelry choosing experience was about what jewelry would fit my ear and not about what I can afford.The piercing experience was also amazing. The piercer made a point to carefully position the piercing in a way to flatter our natural anatomy and even consulted with us as the customers and other piercers to make sure it was the best spot. It was also the most painless piercing I’ve ever received. I had a helix piercing done, which is supposed to be on the painful side, and it hurt less than my lobes or septum.They’re so accommodating for the healing process too. I have a follow up appointment already set to change the stud to a different length as the swelling subsides and to check that it is healing properly.The studio is also extremely sanitary- every tool is sanitized at each step of the way (even the brand new jewelry), the staff work off trays with disposable covers, the seating is covered in paper and sanitized between customers.Frankly, I wish I was taken here as a child when I got my ears pierced because of how positive this experience was.I’m so glad my friend suggested this spot to me, and if/when I get another piercing, I know I’m coming here.

Saved my nipples from pain and getting an infection from the cheap jewelry i got from another “professional” piercer that same day, this guy was brutally honest and knowledgeable. As promised, i got instant relief from switching to his jewelry. My boyfriend is happy with his fresh new nose piercing as well.We’ll be back.

This little body mod shop is adorable, filled with plants, and has an amazing assortment of jewelry to choose from. Matt changed out my tragus piercing with a new aventurine piece. I like how he explains the steps along the way, and tells you what your piece of jewelry is made out of and what size/length it is and why. He wants you to be knowledgeable about what is going into your body and how to properly take care of it.

I had my septum pierced here about 2 weeks ago and have had the best experience! Matt and his apprentice (Im so embarrassed I didnt catch her name, but if youre reading this, you were so helpful and supportive!) were amazing. I was able to schedule a last-minute appointment on New Years Eve because Matts apprentice went above and beyond and found a spot for me since I was only in town for the weekend. Matt made the whole experience so comfortable, too. Ive had absolutely no swelling, pain, or discomfort while healing (I dont know what spell you used, but you nailed it). I highly recommend Evergreen if youre looking! Will definitely be back!

I went here in August of 2022 with three of my other friends, and we all got our bellybutton pierced. One of the other girls also got her lip pierced. all of the piercings or done super professionally and very clean and Matt is such an amazing person and has such a funk of a personality. He makes the experience 10 times more enjoyable. out of all the places you can get piercings I recommend this place 100 times out of 10.

If I could give this place more than five stars I would!! As someone who only has the regular ear piercings, I went in to get my industrial done today and it was a great experience. No pain at all and quick! I believe Matt is who did my piercing and there was also a female to help if needed who was also super cool and friendly. It’s about time I left a review. I’ve known Matt for almost 10 years and have never gone anywhere else to be pierced. He’s done my cheeks, belly button, tongue, multiple lip piercings, philtrum, and nostrils over the years. Extremely experienced and really takes the time to explain things and pick the best jewelry, placement etc for you. Keeping that in mind, be prepared to spend some time here. It’s not a quick process getting in and out but you don’t want it to be. Matt is an artist and there’s no price for that. I’ll never go anywhere else.

I’ve had two piercings done by Matt (septum and nipples). Following his cleaning instructions, they healed better than any of the other piercings I’ve had. He made me feel comfortable when I was nervous about getting the girls pierced but it was quick and they are healing very nicely.Bonus - his new spot is super chill and he always has an awesome selection of top quality jewelry!

10/10 - DO RECOMMEND. My sister and I stopped by during an event downtown. Even though the shop was busy, I was greeted and had my questions answered within moments of entering. I ended up getting my industrial pierced. Matt was so knowledgeable and made sure the piercing was anatomically placed , as well as , aesthetically pleasing. I would also note that Matts technique is phenomenal because I havent felt any real pain. No throbbing feeling. Just some tenderness. Again 10/10. Theres a reason this is a 5 star business !*UPDATE* Went back and asked for a curated ear piercing in the opposite ear. Again, best experience. We did 3 cartilage piercings with the MOST BEAUTIFUL jewelry I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing. It’s great to get the jewelry you want at the time of piercing because your already wearing something you love and don’t need to have a countdown to when you can change out jewelry 😊 Also, minimal pain! I swear listen to Matt’s washing routine and remember not to touch your piercings and you will be SET!!

11/10This guy fixed my helix piercing that was botched at a different shop in California. It’s only been 2 days and my ear has significantly improved. For 11 months I could not sleep on this ear comfortably and after 2 days I can finally sleep on the right side of my ear. He knows what he is doing! I will recommend this place to anyone I know!!! I wish there were more stars to give. I reached out to them via instagram and asked if I could do a walk in, he said they were appointment only and we were able to get in the same day! We were greeted when we arrived. The group in front of us took more time than the shop probably anticipated. I think I waited about 45 minutes or so for my piercing to start.. not going to lie.. it was a little annoying but here its why im giving them 5 stars!! When it was my turn ( did nose and bellybutton) he took his time looking and advising me what would be best.. what to expect and all that. We started with my nose. He started his measurements and gave me his opinion of where my piercing would look best because of the shape of my nose and face.. I was skeptical at first but he showed me in the mirror and was like oh wow he is so right. After the piercing I almost passed out ( I kinda forgot to eat and thats my fault not his) but he quickly helped me lay down and he started to put some cotton pads with alcohol on them on my forehead, face and neck to help me feel better.. he stepped out to let me regain my color. He came back a few minutes later after I felt better for the next piercing. I had a bellybutton piercing done about 11 years ago.. and it didnt go well.. but here at Evergreen Body mod, they took out tools to measure the perfect deepness for the piercing... I was flabbergasted on how amazing it looks. Yes... he runs a little behind.. but its worth it.. because during the time he is working with you, YOU ARE HIS ONLY PRIORITY. Its a great experience. He doesnt rush his customers. He is extremely knowledgeable and the healing process is unbelievable!!! I have no redness, no puss ( which I did my last two piercings at a diff shop) if you were to to look at them youd think that Ive had these piercings for like 5+ years... and its only been 4 days!!! I can wait to go back and get more piercings with them!! They are truly amazing, kind, clean, knowledgeable, friendly and the shop is cool. They dont try to upsell jewelry..... picked out a pricer cuter one for my bellybutton and he changed it to the base price (included in the piercing price) as he said it would work better with my belly button shape..I cant wait to be back :)

This studio is the best that Ive been to! They do an amazing job easing any pre piercing jitters and inform you on the piercing your getting to make sure you care for it properly. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to get a new piercing.

Matt is a legitimate stud in his craft. He makes you feel comfortable no matter what you seek. Talk about a master who nearly obsesses in knowledge and education in all he does! He also sells only top quality jewelry which shows he cares about his clients! 5☆👍

My 9 yo daughter got her ears pierced, they look perfect and her ears are doing amazing. Matt is so friendly and makes u feel at home, I wouldnt recommend anyone else.

He took the time to solve a situation that he didnt create, used his piercing knowledge and artistic vision to put a plan in place that was best for us, easily calmed all pre-piercing anxiety, educated us throughout the process, and kept us laughing the whole time. Absolutely amazing, I went here to get my septum pierced and although there was a wait I didn’t have any troubles and it was totally worth it. Matt is super funny and cool and I will be returning for all my other piercings.

I had an amazing experience at Evergreen getting my dimple piercings. Not only did Matt provide thorough education on the piercings I had chosen and detailed care instruction but he took care and time to make sure placement was perfect and symmetrical. The jewlery at the store is top end and worth every penny, Ive had far less swelling and shorter healing time because of the quality.

Dude was super cool the first time I came in to get new nose jewelry. Just went back to get a ring for my nose since I accidentally lost mine when I was sleeping. Went in and the owner and helper were super kind. His helper( didn’t catch her name) was the one to help me pick out a new ring and swap it out for me! Super friendly and helpful. Place is clean. They were great here. They were running behind but made sure to communicate to us that they were behind. I was nervous getting my nose pierced and they talked to me the entire time, putting me at ease.

Clean, professional, and sterile environment, with a good selection of jewelry. I particularly like the options the anodizing process opens up for colors. They however are cash only, but as far as Ive experienced wont get upset if you have to pick some more up. The bank down the street only has a $3 ATM fee.They also did a good job piercing my nipples.
