Crystal was absolutely amazing! Best tattoo experience I have ever had. She makes you feel comfortable with her easy to talk to and does amazing artwork! Will be going back for future tattoos with her. I am so happy with my new tattoo its absolutely beautiful.

Crystal was easy to schedule with and was able to knock out two tattoos for me in one setting. She worked with me to customize them, as one was based on a painting, and I was so happy get these tattoos done around Mother’s Day in honor of my mama! Definitely going back for more!

I could not be happier with my tattoo and experience with Crystal at Instaind Tattoo! The location was easily accessible with ample parking. The studio was clean and welcoming. Crystal spent time prior to my appointment determining what kind of design I was looking for. She provided me with options and made tweaks prior to setting up all of her ink. Wow what a selection of colors! My art turned out beautifully with depth and great color. Will definitely go back for my next piece of artwork. Thank you Crystal!

They gave me the ugliest tattoos Ive ever gotten, when all I asked for was simple LINEWORK, it didnt even look like the stencil, I was too embarrassed to show off my tattoo and too scared to come back for a touch up, the years of experience dont reflect in thier work. Go somewhere else. Your welcome for saving you from a permanently ugly tattooWorst tattoo shop ever!!!

Kylie is amazing! She took my late brothers hand writing from an envelope and made a beautiful beyond meaningful tattoo. She has no idea how much it means to have that. Shes professional and extremely clean! Easy to talk to during a session. Ill be using her more and my husband uses her too!

Great studio Very comfortable. I worked with Kylie she’s was extremely polite had great communication and worked to fit me into a tight schedule which I really appreciate. I was impressed by their portfolio as they are one of the only studios I’ve found in Puyallup that include deep/dark skin in their portfolio. And they did a fantastic job on my tattoo. Great experience I will be coming back again!

I found Crystal after wanting a big piece that incorporated a lot of different things for a long time. I had no vision on how to put it all together but after I met with Crystal she some how was able to pull it all together. I love it and I’m now working on another large piece with her. The shop is very clean and they take your health very seriously. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I got my first tattoo on 7/1/17 with Crystal and I am more than thrilled with the outcome. It was a great experience from my initial inquiry online to the day of the tattoo itself. Crystal went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with every aspect of the tattoo, from placement, to font, size, etc., and gave her own input to ensure the tattoo came out looking great. I love the work that I had done by Crystal. I took Asian writing, that I wasnt quite sure about the correct spelling, Crystal sent it to a trusted friend of hers to verify the words were correct, then called me back to do my tattoo. She is very professional and took the time to ensure that my tattoo would be correct! I also have a tattoo there waiting for funding that she designed for me that I only had an idea of what I wanted, she brought it to life and it will be beautiful when I get it done. I would recommend her and her work anytime! She s great!

After nearly 2 months of waiting for an appointment, I was sent my 2nd cancelation with a barely altered version of my own artwork When I asked for a refund because scheduling with Crystal was clearly not happening, she had the audacity to try and deny my refund. Needless to say, my full deposit has been refunded and I will take all of my tattoos elsewhere. This is particularly disappointing as I was excited to have this memorial piece that I designed for my mother done at a shop that is women ran and I was met with disorganization and argument. Dont trust this business.

Very good experience overall. Artist is very professional and will take the time to sit down and talk about what you want. Also, studio is clean and comfortable. The actual tattoo was very well done, with utmost care given to what I wanted. Crystal is a very talented and caring artist. I will definitely go back! Totally different vibe than from some seedy shops downtown and elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I saw Kylie and she couldnt do line work, even with a stencil, it looked horrible and I had to get it fixed by another artist, was very disappointed.

My wife and I both got small, simple tattoos for $150 each which seemed expensive. Mine turned out ok but hers is horrible. The top of it is blown out and the bottom is barely visible. The whisk has a wobbly line going down the middle of it which should be straight. They offered to fix it for free but we dont want to go back. Asked for her money back and they stopped emailing me back. Really disappointed.

I have many tattoos done by both Crystal and Kylie and love, love, love them all!! The shop is clean, the staff is very professional! Both artists do amazing work!! Will continue to get tattoos from both Kylie and Crystal!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

She has done excatly what I invisualize in my head but better. even offer great advise about what works and looks better for my tattoo. Im having a small cover up that is turn into a shoulder half sleeve piece. Im abousutly in love with it so far. and 2 more session and it will be completely cant wait. she is an amazing artist. delicate professional and relaxing!

Crystal is very arrogant and refuses to take responsibilities for her actions. I did my research and made an appointment for a consult in August. The consult seemed to go okay, so I didnt question her when she told me she wouldnt be able to tattoo me until November! The day of my appointment came. Of course I was excited until I got off of work and looked at my phone. She had sent me a text approximately 3 to 4 hours before my appointment to tell me she had to push it back an hour. No problem. I forgot to mention the $100 deposit she requires to draw your tattoo. I still hadnt received any sort of drawing or sketch as to what she would be tattooing on me. Pretty scary. As Im driving to her shop my phone rings. Its Crystal. She says she has to cancel my appointment due to electrical issues. I literally drove right past her shop and saw her sitting at the front desk as she was in the phone with me. The open sign was on as well as all of the lights. Her car was the only one in the parking lot. There was no electrician at her shop. My husband had taken the day off of work to watch our kids so I could even do this. She says she will be willing to tattoo me on one of her days off since she had to cancel my appointment on such short notice. I agree to let her tattoo me the following Sunday and ask her if I can see the sketches she has so far. She claims she will text them to me. About 4 hours later I finally receive a text with some drawings that kind of freak me out. My 8 year old daughter draws better than that. By now I have an extremely bad feeling about this whole thing. Then I get another text from Crystal saying that she forgot she had plans on Sunday, so she cant tattoo me then either. Im very upset by now. Ive waited 3 months, my husband missed a day of work, and now Ive been cancelled on twice!!!!! Crystal refuses to give me my money back and has remained arrogant throughout this whole thing. I would not let her tattoo me if my life depended on it! Im glad I got a second opinion from a respectful artist with morals who actually values my time and money as equally as his own. Stay away from Crystal and Inkstained tattoo if you dont want your time or money wasted for an awful tattoo, or in my case, just a waste of time.

Fantastic artist! Helped me piece together my half sleeve with email communication and some phone calls about ideas and images of examples I wanted to incorporate, all while I live half way across the U.S in Okilahoma and planned a session to have while visiting family. How many places do you know would take the time to communicate over several months to confirm ideas and work up drawings while maintaining the norm? She takes care of her customers like you have been family. I look forward to getting more work done from her in the future.

I always go to Kylie Jane at Inkstaind! Shes always really sweet and chill and willing to collaborate on ideas! 10 out of my 11 are from her and always love the way they look!

Utterly disappointed and sad with Crystal’s tattoo, it is poorly executed, full of mistakes and plain ugly; not to mention VERY expensive. And yes, she will place the blame on external circumstances and not take responsibility from her inability to deliver a well done tattoo.Instead of proudly showing off my tattoo, now I feel like crying every time I look at it.

Quality of lines does not become distorted from swelling. Dont let them tell you otherwise. These lines will forever be inconsistent and non symmetrical. I have many tattoos myself and have never experienced swelling that caused my lines to look this bad.

Both tattoo artists are amazing and each one has particular types of tattooing that they excel in doing. The studio is clean,quaint and inviting.

Owner has an elitist attitude and arrogant price per hour. Portfolio doesnt hold ground to other local artist with much better attitudes and willingness to work with customers. Avoid if you expect an enjoyable experiance
