Very Nice and quick artist Andrew Hoch, the place is very clean. Walk-ins are accepted and dont have a long wait time ,from our experience, had two tattoos done one after another, and wanted another when both we were both finished!

Their artwork is excellent. They do a fantastic job making you feel at home. Andrew did one for me recently and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The man is a professional. Top shelf quality from a top shelf crew. Recommend.

Everyone here is so friendly especially the woman at the front desk ! Andrew does an amazing job and makes the time go by fast so you’re not focused on the pain of the tattoo ! Would 1000% recommend to anyone who is getting their first tattoo !

I had the best experience at this shop! Right from the first phone calling trying to schedule an appointment, to working with Damon and getting the piece done - I will absolutely be coming back. There were some hiccups in my appointment where I was rescheduled once and almost a second time, but Jess at the front was able to help me still get in that same day (and thank you again!!).Damon was also fantastic to work with. I have a few other tattoos where they were all placed with a stencil, but Damon took the reference picture and drew it out himself! I thought that was really cool and made it that much more personal, and I appreciate the artistic touch. I love the final piece so much, he took what I was envisioning and made it so much better! I cant thank yall enough, and I will definitely be recommending your shop to anyone looking for a new tattoo.

Just had a great experience here! Had a tattoo added into a preexisting one and I love how it came out. Andrew was my artist and I genuinely enjoyed the whole time there. Great conversation, cool music, and great tattoo- will definitely return the next time I want another. Thanks Andrew!

Got a tattoo awhile back from Damon here. Hes very good, so good that you might have to book an appointment in advance. Certainly the best tattoo appointment Ive have thus far (12 hours accumulated). He was well prepared, room was great and the other employees made the place comfortable. Certainly going to go back for more work.

Great experience for my first tattoo! Laid back and clean. Walked in spontaneously and got lucky because they had a cancellation. Damon really took the time to sketch it out and figure out what I want. Got to watch hulu and chill the whole time. I plan on going back.

I got a tattoo from Nadia and she was extremely easy to work with and the work itself, I love it. I just gave her an idea of what I wanted and let her take artistic liberty and whatever I got far exceeds my expectations. 10/10 experience from me easy.

This is my new go to shop! Nina is a new addition to the location and I am so in love with my tattoo she just did! The shop has a nice set up, the rooms are great. Got set up in the comfy chair and got to watch Netflix for the 4 hour session. Cant get any better than that! Jess at the desk was super friendly and helpful! I walked in on a Saturday to check out the place and walked out with my first tattoo. The guys there were cool and my tattoo looks good. I am happy and will definitely be back. I recommend this place!PS James did my tattoo, hes a cool cat for sure.

For my first time getting a tattoo, it could not have been better. Honestly. I did have my own design that I had emailed over ahead of time, and the artist, Andrew, was really incredible at understanding The meaning of the design, really helping me optimize the size and location, and when it got down to doing the final artwork added some really crazy good shading and reflection and things I hadnt even thought about, that just made it incredible.And I will tell you the discomfort is really kind of minimal and after a while you just kind of forget about it. It was a pleasure!

Had my first tattoo with James who is not only extremely talented, but he made me feel very comfortable and we jammed out to movie soundtrack music and vegged out on all things Game of Thrones. A wonderful experience! Will definitely be coming back for more!

Had a spontaneous trip to get a small tattoo today and Keith took great care of me. They were able to get me in and out pretty quickly and I went home with a beautiful heart on my wrist. Thank you so much! I will definitely be coming back.

There are without a doubt some great artists at Empire Tattoo in Quincy. That being said, the lead artist that did my tattoo, Damon, rushed into it and focused on doing his art rather than what I wanted. Being my first tattoo and having no prior experience with tattoos, I expected to get some guidance from the artist as to what sort of tattoo he could do and maybe start me off with a temporary tattoo to give me a feeling, but as soon as I walked in the first time, Damon was ready to go without completely hearing me out. He didnt seem to listen much or care that much about how I actually wanted it and instead of discussing or acknowledging my indecision on what I wanted, he just went ahead and did what he wanted to do. As I said, the artwork came out really nice, but the tattoo was much bigger than I wanted and by a few inches in a place that cannot be covered up, making it very flashy piece of artwork, when what I really wanted was a subtle and humble commemoration to a late family member. I am now looking into getting it removed and even though Damon charged around 60 or 70 dollars, the removal will cost about 1,000 dollars total, a lot of painful removal sessions and about a year of having a fading tattoo that people will most probably ask a lot of annoying questions about. Make sure you know EXACTLY what you want before you go into Empire Tattoo because the artists there wont even attempt to help you decide!

Damon is a cool cat. I told him what I wanted. His design was perfect even better than I anticipated. Staff very cool. Thanks Damon. This was my first tattoo. Im 55 yrs old.

The price of the tattoo was good. The room where I got my tattoo done had what appeared to be ink smears throughout the floor. The back of the chair was laying down so I had to sit without a back rest and sideways. The artist, Vinny, had cleaning solution dripping down my leg into my shoe. When he put the flash (I think thats what you call it) on my leg it was very crooked which I pointed out and he corrected. He prides himself on being quick which should have been a flag. He was done within approximately 40 minutes. The top of my tattoo isnt level and the dates are a little off as is the inside of the M. It was a computer design so all it needed was to be traced! So I was very much disappointed. I originally went here because of the good reviews. Maybe other artists there are good. After I wrote a review on Yelp this artist, Vinny, texted me how sorry he was, that hed give me my money back, and hed fix the tattoo. I didnt receive any money back. Then 2 days later he had received several recent positive reviews which is obviously shady business...having friends write fske reviews. DO NOT GO HERE and use Vinny.

I got my first and second tattoo done here by James. Hes a really great guy who clearly has a passion for the arts. I plan on going back for two more moderately sized tattoos and a huge side piece from him in the near future! Highly recommend this place :)

Damon was absolutely amazing! I did a walk-in appointment and extremely happy with my tattoo. He was really fun to chat with and just made the process go faster. The lines are so detailed and very well done. I will be coming back to get more !! Thanks:)

The lady with the blonde shaved hair was insanely rude. I went with my friend to get her first tattoo and she was really nice to my (white)friend but she was rude to me (im hispanic)shes a racist i would be talking to my friend and she would interject with a rude retort when noone was even talking to her. And after when i looked at my friends tattoo the lines werent even completely filled in you could see lines within them and they were very shaky. Everyone else was nice

I had a tattoo that was messed up and i had Damon fix it. He did an amazing job at fixing it and even adding some nice detail to it. He was very professional and I will definitely come back.
