Baldys Tattoo & Piercing Parlor

My hubby and I drive from NC to see Brado! Absolutely love his style and he has been doing great work on us both. I am still an open canvas but my husband has been having Brado redo his sleeves which were originally done by someone who wasn’t that good with freehand creativity. My husbands were just dull and faded and Brado is bringing life and color back into it. If you love traditional and colorful Brado is your guy. Make sure you book an appointment because he stays pretty busy! We book at least two days back to back every 6 months and drive 10 hours to come see him. I’ll have to post some picks that aren’t upside down

I got a tat here on my birthday! Well worth the trip for the quality work. They did a great job with the detail, settings expectations, and recommending cleaning/moisturizing things to get from the store to treat after removing the clear bandage. We will definitely be back to see Jimmy for my next round on ink therapy.

My Mom and I got a dermal done from Baldy himself. We were there for probably 30-45 total! He’s super quick, professional and clean! It’s healed up really nicely. I’ll be back in a couple weeks to get my jewelry swapped out 🥰

Baldy did my tatoo about 5+ years ago ans suggested dark dark purple, I said bright purple. So I went with his advice.Now Im no expert, but going light to dark later is fine if I dont like it, so why you suggesting dark? Was my first tatoo idk better.The color was fine enough but he did BLACK OUTLINES and did NOT tell me. ??? And some parts of my tatoo are too tiny to fit purple between outlines (example would be thin lines) so those are just black. Thats my main gripe is lack of communication on something permanent.

Paid $400 dollars for a cover up. The tattoo was poorly done, the line work is barely visible and what you CAN see of the line work is crooked and very faded. Asked for neo traditional and got something that doesn’t even look remotely close. Colors are very faded and there is a lot of scarring. Had multiple conversations at first with the artist asking whenever he would be able to fix my tattoo and he had told me it was my fault and it was “improper tattoo aftercare” I have 30 tattoos and I know how to take proper care of them. After a month, artist had me come in and looked at it, said it wasn’t healed enough and told me that we would have to do it another day. ALSO my tattoo was done in August and it is now Dec. Tried reaching out one last time a few weeks ago, message was yet again left on read. Never ever EVER again. Super unprofessional and very upset.

Everybody needs to get your tattoo done by Baldy he did my tattoo and I love it so much! I just hate I dont live there and get more tattoos done by him I was just stopping by. He was highly recommended thats why I went. Since I been I highly recommend him as well.

This place is AMAZING! The cleanest and most professional shop I have ever been to. The staff is top knotch and I wont let anyone else touch me after going here twice. All the artists are top tier and Jimmy is so talented. You absolutely will never leave here disappointed. 5/5

I went to baldy my industrial ball for my piercing fell out. They sanitized it and put new jewellery on for $5. They were really nice.. And very reasonable. I will give them a thumbs up and a 5 star rating....

I got a tattoo here and it was blown out. I sent a picture to them asking about it and they asked me if the tattoo was even done in a shop. When I revealed it was done in THIER shop all of a sudden it was no longer a blow out. I have many other tattoos, I took the tattoo to my usual artist and he told me he was sorry I was having this experience and asked who did this to me. Said it was overworked and horribly blown out. I understand things happen, I just ask that you stay honest about your work. If you mess up you mess up, it is okay to apologize instead of trying to elude to customers not caring properly for their tattoo. Artists make mistakes too.

I went to this shop in October 2020 with a friend to get some piercings. Very nice, respectful and professional service. However, here it is February 2022 and I am just now able to change my jewelry out. This is not for lack of taking care of them. Only one of then 2 I have had an issue with the entire time. At first I thought well my body is just trying to reject the jewlery but Ive seen rejections amongst friends and that is not the issue. After changing from the curved bar that was used during the piercing process to some straight bars I have found the one that has been staying irritated is way deeper than the other and it wasnt able to breath. I wish I would have noticed eariler and not just thought that the pain and irritation resulted in swelling. Now I will spend some time trying to find quality jewelry with a longer bar when it should be the same for both. I didnt have a bad experience at the shop but I expected a professional piercer to get piercings straight and even. After all isnt that in the job description.

Was in KY from KS for my moms memorial service. Called them for a last minute tattoo. Everyone was welcoming and awesome! Id recommend this shop and any artist to everyone. Hellllll Id even make that 8.5 hr drive one way to get another tattoo from this shop.

Sonny Schenck a artist at this shop took $250 from me for a tattoo that never got completed and refuse to give the $250 back. I paid the $250 for the tattoo without an appointment set before he left for a convention because he needed the money for that weekend. Now I’ve been left on read and I’ve been blocked by this artist on Facebook and from this tattoo parlor’s Facebook page. Extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend this tattoo artist or shop to anyone. I am pursuing this matter in court and have texts messages proving everything I am saying.

Keith was great! Really happy how it turned out! Jimmy, worked with the Wife and sister in-law. Theirs turned out really nice also.

I had my daith pierced by Baldy awhile back and needed it changed for an MRI. Every time Ive been in there everyone is super friendly. Its very clean and comfortable. The best part is that the piercing has almost completely eliminated my migraines. Thanks Baldy!!

Went in yesterday for a neck tattoo Jimmy was the artist who did my work and Slater did the beginning of my sister’s sleeve both were amazing artists and very friendly love the atmosphere at Baldys definitely getting all my work done there from now on

I got a tattoo there 2 weeks ago since the guy that does mine was busy that day. My friend recommended it so I went. The tattoo looked great after it was done but the 2nd day it was red and swollen. I thought it might be cause it was new. Than my feet and ankle swelled up so bad that I knew it wasnt right. End up going to the doctors and getting antibiotics. It got infected now the skin came off the tattoo where it was infected and its hard all the way around it. It looks horrible now. Im gonna either have to get it redone or do a coverup when it heals. Ive gotten a lot of tattoos within that month with no issues until I decided to go to someone new. Im just very upset. I understand I signed a waiver but this is just awful...

Place is the worst tat shop in Radcliff.
