Black Meadow

I’ve gotten a few different pieces from Patrick, one of the co-owners of Black Meadow, and they are absolutely phenomenal. The work he does is beautiful and was exactly what I dreamed of when I was thinking of this tattoo idea. Not only is Patrick amazing at making your vision come to life, his customer service and overall manner is very welcoming/client centric. I’ve gotten tattoos at a few different places but Black Meadow by far has been where I have felt the most catered to and most comfortable out of the places I’ve gone to so far. I highly recommend coming here for a big project because Patrick is a dedicated and passionate worker who puts a lot of care into every design he creates!

Both me and my girlfriend have been getting tattooed by Pat at Black Meadow for a couple years now. One of the best tattoo shops in VT. Not only is Pat a PHENOMENAL tattooist but his range of styles is insanely impressive. Hes also super transparent, communicative, professional, and kind. Whatever you wanna get done Pat is gonna make that thing SHINE.The shop itself is a super cool, welcoming space, with tons of things to look at and meander through. Pat and Kate have done an excellent job in curating the space and its absolutely beautiful. Not only that but its also amazing and inspiring how community oriented they are. They put on art shows emphasizing local artist, clothing swaps, and are very involved in local community groups. This is truly a special place with some pretty incredible folks behind it. GO VISIT

Truly one of the best tattoo experiences Ive ever had. Pat was an absolute delight to work with, the shop is gorgeous and would be worth going to just to look at the art, and most importantly of all, Pats tattoo work is stunning. I cant wait to get more work done at Black Meadow. Thank you!!!

This shop is awesome! Pat and Kate are amazing people and they are super professional and helpful. Kate makes beautiful jewelry and I get compliments constantly when I wear it! Pat has put two huge pieces of art on me and I trust him so much! Very talented couple and great business owners! Its well worth the hour and 15 minute drive for me and my partner!

Great place to visit! Pat and Kate are vary kind and put a lot into supporting their community and VT artist. Every time I go in I feel welcome, and I can see the passion and love they put into their space. The clothing selection always varies and is super affordable, so much so that I HAVE to stop in when we go through town just to see what I can snag! Defiantly recommend!

Pat is super kind and very professional, made sure to check in regularly about how I was doing during the tattoo - which looks great! The shop is VERY cool, lots of amazing art, clothes, books!! 10/10, will be back for more tattoos!

Got my first tattoo here, and it was worth the wait.Highly recommend for anyone in Vermont and beyond seeking high quality custom tattoo designs.Pat is thorough in the process from beginning to end, and great company during long sessions. The line art for my Japanese half-sleeve was done in less than 3 hours with only a couple of breaks, and the quality is fantastic.Pat and Kate have done a wonderful job culivating a community and creating a space for artists to gather and display their work.If youre ever in downtown Randolph, stop by Black Meadow, say hi, and pick up a print!

Awesome space with incredible decor. Great showings of local artists works. Owner is very personable and does great work. And DJs at local events as well.
