Rory and Amber are super talented artists and really great people. They take immense pride in their work and their reputation, and they sincerely care about giving their clients a great experience. Amber took the time to ensure that I was happy with my tattoo, and it turned out beautifully. I would definitely come back for another tattoo, and I highly recommend their shop to anyone looking to get some rad ink.

Everything about every experience here has been great! Everyone in the studio is super friendly, its always clean, and they are definitely welcoming and accommodating. Ethan has done fantastic work on myself and the people I have gone in with. ☺️ Definitely recommend stopping in if youre interested in getting a new tattoo!

We were looking for some last minute tattoos and walked into Thornbird on a Friday evening. We were greeted by Sydney who was able to take us both in. She was friendly, professional, and quick! We will definitely be back, highly recommend!

Matt has designed two tattoos for me. I love them both! He took his time working out the designs that made me happy. One of my tattoos is a cover up, and the image that Matt came up with is awesome!! Not only does it cover up my old tattoo, it’s an amazing piece of art that I am so happy with.I’m definitely looking forward to the next one!

Met Rory a few years ago and have received a full entire sleeve from him and then a smaller one for my daughter and the quality is unmatched! Rory is very creative and a true artist as parts of my sleeve tattoo he free handed on the skin and turned out amazing. Rory and his staff always have a happy demeanor, clean shop, good quality art and the shops always welcoming. I know I found the shop for all my tattoo needs going forward and you should give them a shot if your interested in getting a tattoo as well.

Absolutely love Rorys work! I have gotten several tattoos and they are nothing short of amazing 🤩. I will never use another artist. I have referred several friends and they are just as pleased. Shop is clean, comfortable and artists are warm and welcoming. Would give more than five stars if I could!

This tattoo shop is amazing. The artist are professional and amazingly talented. Rory put in the work and went up and beyond my expectations to create shoulder cap tattoos that more than one shop said couldn’t be done. But Rory listened to my vision and was able to do it. That is because he is an artist first and after spending 12+ hours in the chair at this shop I can say that all the artists top shelf.

Matthew Brown is a gentle gem of a human and I love his energy and work! He perfectly balances making sure you get exactly what youre trying to articulate, and his own professional creativity and showing you why you went to an artist to get tattooed. After a kindof gross experience, I said I would only go to femme artists, but he came so highly recommended by so many folks, & won me over instantly. The experience has been great, & his tattoos are my favorites!

Best tattoo artists around!! I live 4 hours away, but this is the only place I will go to for any tattoo. I got a nautical themed full arm sleeve, and Rory far exceeded my expectations for detail and quality. I get compliments all the time about the vibrant colors and detail. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality work, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very clean and professional shop! The artists are top notch! I had Rory, and he did a cover up that he free handed as he went. I have gotten nothing but compliments on how colorful and beautiful it is!! Love everything I’ve seen come out of their shop and I can’t wait to get back in to start my back piece!!

I’ve been fortunate to have two sessions done at this location so far, around 8-9 hours of chair time. Rory and Amber are awesome and are always very welcoming to everyone that walks in the door. The attention to detail in regards to cleanliness and organization around the shop is top notch! I’ve already booked sessions every 3-4 weeks for the next 5 months and I wouldn’t hesitate at all to make more.

Rory’s original artwork caught my attention on a friend’s sleeve tattoo and I knew he was the artist to bring to life an idea for a large tattoo I had been thinking about. His attention to detail and shading is why I continue to return to Rory with original tattoo ideas that he is able to create.Rory and the staff at Thornbird are welcoming and accommodate my vision for the artwork for my ongoing tattoos as well as touch up and some cover up/ reworking on old tattoos with blown out lines.

Followed some of my favorite artists in Central Oregon from Four Flames over to Thornbird and could not be more pleased. (I know they are sister shops.) But the new Thornbird is an incredible space. There is lots more room for the artists to flourish and the same friendly atmosphere as before. I will continue to get tattooed by Matt, Emily, and Rory at the new shop. They keep it professional, clean, and a fun place to sit in a chair for hours.

Thornbird studios is the best tattoo studio I have been to. They are so friendly and professional Rory has been working on me for almost a year now super cool dude and the other artists are amazing. If you need new ink I higlhly recommend Thornbird.

Matt Brown is super chill and is down for whatever idea so far that ive thrown at him. I have been to him 3 times now and have been stoked on my work every time! This last time he had this really cool psychedelic Screensaver going off and it really helped distract the pain away.
