Matt killed it. I needed a cover up and he took my photos I had for a visual and helped transform it into something I really really like. After searching for years to find someone to cover what I had, the only responses would be lots of color , big sleeve (which is what I didn’t want) and Matt took what I wanted vs what was going to cover it into consideration and really listened to me and we were able to complete a awesome unique piece. Thank you Matt !!

Awesome place. Anthony (T) was exemplary good and very gentle as it was my first time to get an intricate and bigger tattoo. Also got my first 2 small tattoos from Elexus which is also very talented, a rising star in their field. Glad I came to this place. I’m not done yet, I will definitely see you guys again soon. Anthony is the man! Cool shop, great artist. Hes a true professional in his craft. I hadnt gotten tattooed in 14 years, and just got one redone by him. Definitely got the itch again and will be back to do some new work soon. Looking forward to it!

I got my first tattoo this week. Matt is the artist. He did a fantastic job. I sent him an image of one I liked and he not only made it his own; but identified the issues with the first image and made it so much better. I am so impressed with the quality. Further, I loved the atmosphere there. I will be recommending this shop to anyone nearby interested in getting a tattoo.

Great tattoo parlor! I had Anthony (T) draw up my sleeve tattoo and over the course of 7 sessions, he spent alot of time carefully tattooing it. His attention to detail is second to none. Would highly highly recommend 9-line for any and all tattoo work! Will be back!

Elexus was great. The piercing she did was done professionally. She explained everything well. Cleanliness was very important. She shared a lot of good piercing and tattoo info. My friend and I both had our nose pierced. After my friend had hers done Elexus had both of us leave the room so she could sanitize the room before she did mine. Great sense of humor!

Big T from 9-lines tattoo does amazing work. I’m 2 sessions in on working on my full sleeve and couldn’t be happier. The 9-lines shop is extremely clean. This review is long overdue. I wanted to get a rather large piece done from my side all the way down my leg to my ankle. Given this was such a large, detailed piece…I did a TON of research on artists in the area. My husband found Matt and we both fell in love with his work. His lines are so perfect it looks like they come out of a printer. I gave him an example of something I was looking for and he took it and ran with it. I’m absolutely in love and get so many compliments. The fine details are just so beautiful. Everybody is always so enthralled with the perfection of the lines and details. Matt was incredibly sweet, patient and just an all around pleasure to be with. Which is great considering I spent quite a bit of time there. The shop is immaculate, the other artists are fun and down to earth. Really the entire vibe there was so welcoming and like I was hanging out with my friends every time I went. I must not be the only one that feels that way as it seemed with every session, Matt or the other artists had clients coming in just to bring gifts and BS for a bit. I’m already trying to come up with my next tattoo and hands down, this will be the only place I would ever consider. I’d trust any of their artists after seeing all of the beautiful pieces being done but Matt is my go to for sure after the tattoo he did for me. Thank you, Matt!

Big T at 9-Line is awesome! He’s done both of my sleeves, and I couldnt be happier with the results. Had to wait about 9 months to get in the chair, but its definitely worth the wait! I can’t recommend 9-Line Tattoo enough. I’ve been pierced there twice by Daniella, and yesterday my sister and I got a tribute tattoo for our brother who passed away two years ago. They were the sweetest and most patient and efficient artist. would highly recommend everyone go check them out. we all got tattoos smaller than our palm size. The line work is fantastic!

I had been contemplating a Tatoo for literally years never truly making the leap and had always found myself intimidated by Tatoo shops and uncomfortable but Anthony made me feel right at home and walked me through the entire process. The shop is clean, organized and the culture is welcoming and fun. I’ve begun 2020 with my first ever Tattoo and I LOVE IT! Incredibly clean work, I’m overwhelmed by the responses I’ve received and could not be happier!

The best people you will meet. I visited many shops in the Riverview and nearby areas. 9-Line was definitely the best. The art work is exceptional. Got my right arm and left forearm done by T. Extremely professional. His work is amazing. Sent him a picture and he transformed it in this incredible piece. Can’t say enough about the tremendous detail in his work. I got this tattoo 1 March 2021 to mark my retirement from the Military on the 1st day of International Womens month...I would NOT have trusted my back to any other artist except T. Its been over a year and this piece of art looks fantastic from whatever angle you look at it ❤️ I am in love with it and will forever be! He took his time creating the design and the day of he made sure every detail was perfect! It took this long for the review because anyone can post a fresh tattoo and have it look fantastic but a year later mine looks as fresh as the first day ❤️ Highly Recommend and I am ETERNALLY grateful!

My boy Justin is on point, he took care of some bad ink and decisions I made years ago with this amazing cover up. It signifies my grandfather and myself. I cant wait to get back to getting more ink, never thought I would actually consider a sleeve until Justin. He communicates and isnt ridged like some. If you give him the freedom to work he will help your idea go so much further than what you could dare to imagine. This shop feels like family, I would rather hang out in 9 Line Tattoo than with most of my blood relatives at this point.

Had a great experience. A large Pisces tattoo on upper arm covering a small tattoo from 40 years ago from a drunken night in an English seaside town!Love the new tattoo - the least painful one I have had and the most relaxing one I had too - I was watching an English soccer game on my tablet as the tattoo was being done and was treated to a nice glass of good whiskey too. I relocated here from SC and had no idea of where to begin my search for a great tattoo artist. A co-worker of mine recommended Anthony Big T Travieso. After meeting with him and reviewing some of his work, it was a very easy decision. (the fact that he is an Army veteran ...I retired from the Army, did not hurt. I didnt even bother contacting other artists. I am VERY satisfied with his work and HIGHLY recommend him. His work is top notch which speaks to why he is an award winning artist. He is very professional and makes you feel at ease. Go see Big T for your first or your next tattoo. You will not regret it!

Elexus did my tattoo for me today and I am VERY happy with how it turned out! She also pierced my belly button on Tuesday and was able to get it where is wasn’t pushing into my belly button (which is how it was before and I was told it’s just my belly button) The shop environment is awesome and really laid back. Also it was very clean which is obviously important when getting piercings/tattoos. I will DEFINITELY go back and let her put some more art on me!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing!!

Jon Divinci did an amazing job on me with this piece, and he did amazing work on my friends and got all 3 of us tatted in one day and was super friendly through the whole thing and we are so happy with our tats and it was all for a good price too. 10/10 recommend this place

I got my tattoo done by Daniella. She was so sweet and understanding. I had my best friends heart beat done as she passed away and its been hard on me. First and foremost, Anthony, the owner, seems to be a stand up guy. He was professional, prompt, and listened to me, the customer, taking my concerns seriously. He ended up fixing my tattoo in the end. He is the only reason this review has any stars; I would trust him to do work for me again and recommend him to others.Unfortunately, if you want professionalism and a clean tattoo do NOT have Danielle do anything for you. Bottom line up front: she showed no respect for a customer whose tattoo she did poorly in the first place and instead showed money was more important to her than producing a quality tattoo.I emailed the shop asking how long the wait would be for a small line tattoo. I was willing to wait as the website said 4-8 month wait, I just wanted to get on the books. I was told Danielle could do it and to come in the next day. That should’ve been my first red flag- completely open availability. I went in, she did the tattoo and I left- but not before she asked for a 5 star Google review. As it started healing I noticed how dull it was and even areas that showed skin tone through, not the black ink that should’ve been there. I have 7 other all black tattoos done by 4 different artists across the country at different times and I have NEVER had an issue with brand new tattoos being dull and showing skin through the ink. I called the shop to reschedule with Danielle so she could fix her work. At my scheduled time on Sat, 3pm, I walked into the shop. She was finishing a tattoo on someone else. She said she’d be a few minutes. Around 315pm she brought the other client up to cash out and as the client was about to walk out she asked about piercings. Danielle explained they were walk ins and could be done in 5 min. They talked some more and Danielle turns to me and says, it’ll just be a few more minutes. I responded that I had an appointment and it was now more than 15 min past that time. An appointment should be honored over new work. She gave an “ooook” dripping with attitude and told me it would be a few minutes. She then went to clean her station, with no purposeful timeliness. She was laughing and joking with other artists and customers in the shop. By 330pm she came back out and told me she was going to do this piercing and it would be a few more minutes. I said no, I had an appointment she needed to honor my time. She told me they take piercings as walk ins and she wasn’t finished with her client. I pointed out her client had only just asked about piercings as an after thought so she was a walk in and, again, she needed to honor my appointment time. She continued to refuse, interrupting me and talking over me, and took the previous client back. She never asked if it was ok, she just told me I was going to wait, which basically equated to - since she wasn’t going to be making money off touching up her mistake on me, she wanted a quick buck from this previous client who was already scheduled to come back next week for another tattoo (at which time the piercing could’ve been done as well). I could hear her talking and joking with others sitting in the room taking her time doing this piercing. She finished 20 min later (not the 5 min she advertised) and talked to a few more people before coming to get me at 355pm, almost an hour after my appt time. I asked to speak to the owner as I did not trust her to fix my tattoo appropriately. Do yourself a favor and schedule with one of the other artists in the shop.

UPDATE: After receiving a condensending reply from owner I decided to reply by saying EXCUSE ME? Since you saw cameras did you see the people that walked In before us? Also, were you able to listen to how the conversation went with your rude receptionist/artist? Please dont try and downgrade my kindness because its a complete LIE. Good Customer service is a big deal when you walk into a business veteran or not. BTW its the reason why my husband retired vet of 25 years told me to go to you guys lol and 5 stars reviews so yea I fully support vets thanks very much but after seeing a reply from you with a complete lie ill leave my review the way it is and also take my money somewhere else where i feel welcome.Id suggest maybe put someone thats less judgemental and rude at the front desk. We ended up going to another tattoo shop also owned by vets about 20 minutes and they were really nice there and we felt welcome. Had she offered an appointment with an artist maybe it would of given me hope but, alas ....If you check my Google reviews on any businesses youll see that I usually write good reviews 😉 so yea by me writing a bad review on your business its not made up. By the way the 3 peoples that walked in before me and my brother said the same on how rude and not helpful she was. Id suggest maybe talking to her and letting her know that. Kind of sad actually especially looking at the awesome work by the artists on the website...Thanks! Have nice day!Went in with my little brother whos visiting for a month. The little blonde lady at the front was very unprofessional and unwilling to help. My brother has a small tattoo he wants to cover up with a lion head and she asked my brother to show her his tattoo and when she saw it she had the look of its impossible to cover it. Then she says February is next available slot which wouldnt of been an issue but she literally without saying it let us go without telling us if artist can do cover up. Her look alone made us walk out!My brothers confidence went down after the visit thinking it was impossible to cover up his previous small tattoo. I told him we go somewhere else and we felt much better going there and speaking to an actual artist and not a front desk attendant. Glad we did go somewhere else because my brother got a smile on his face walking out of the other tattoo shop.

I can’t say enough of how impressed I was from my initial call that was answered by Stacey who was so nice and pleasant when I inquired if a piercing specialist was working. To meeting an extremely patient and professional Rick. Even though I arrived almost 45 minutes until closing, I didn’t feel the slightest bit rushed. Rick was as gentle as could be, working with my “small” ears and scar tissue from previous piercings. Stacey was a fantastic cheerleader to get me through the process. I definitely will be back and highly recommend both! I can’t wait to return!!

Went in for a finger line tattoo re-line and Daniela was amazing! She took the time to make 3 different stencils to use even though it was a small tattoo, just to ensure it was perfect for me. She was super personable and we chatted the whole time. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My sister and I walked in to get matching tattoos and they were able to accommodate us right then and there. Matt is the guy who did our tattoos and he did an AMAZING job! Edit: After posting this review, they decided to post a negative review on my job site. Very unprofessional from them.My experience with 9-Line Tattoo was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I designed a tattoo myself and approached them with high hopes, but the outcome was a devastating disappointment.After making the first appointment on July 8, 2022, and paying a deposit of $165, I was informed that it would require two sessions, totaling 6-7 hours. On July 15, 2022, I paid $330 for the first session, followed by an additional $440 on July 16, 2022, for the second session. However, the artist was unable to complete the tattoo, leaving me to wait for it to heal before the two parts could be connected.When the tattoo finally healed, it was an absolute disaster. The lines were crooked, the overall quality was atrocious, and it was evident that the artist lacked skill. Seeking a second opinion at another tattoo shop, I was met with laughter and disbelief at the abysmal workmanship.Desperate to address the issue, I tried reaching out to the artist, only to be met with silence. Calls went unanswered, texts were ignored, and it became clear that the artist had no intention of taking responsibility for their work. Reluctantly, I decided to speak to the owners, Anthony and Matt, hoping for a resolution.During my conversation with them, they acknowledged the poor quality and agreed that the tattoo needed to be redone. Anthony, supposedly the one who would take care of me, assured me that he would schedule me in between his appointments and cancellations. Despite my reservations, I gave 9-Line Tattoo a second chance, swayed by Anthonys portfolio.On October 31, 2022, I paid $206.25 for a session with Anthony, and to his credit, he managed to salvage some semblance of decency in the tattoo. However, the process was far from over. On January 16, 2023, I returned for another session, paying $379.50. This time, he redid the other portion of the tattoo, but one more session was still needed to complete and connect both pieces. It was at this point that I learned the original artist had been dismissed due to his issues.However, after that session, I waited for six agonizing months without any communication regarding the completion of the tattoo. Despite multiple attempts through Instagram and phone calls, 9-Line Tattoo constantly provided different excuses and failed to accommodate me. When I visited the shop recently, I found the staff casually hanging out, with no regard for their customers.When I confronted Anthony about the lack of progress and demanded a plan, he dismissively claimed to be busy and scheduled until November. He had the audacity to imply that, as a business owner, I should understand their prioritization of clients. I reminded him that, as a fellow business owner, my priority is to take care of my customers, especially when mistakes have been made. It was clear that he had no intention of rectifying the multiple failures they had subjected me to. I firmly stated that I would be taking my business elsewhere.In summary, while Anthony may possess some artistic talent, the same cannot be said for the team at 9-Line Tattoo when it comes to rectifying their own mistakes. Their incompetence, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer satisfaction are simply unacceptable. Avoid 9-Line Tattoo at all costs if you value professionalism, quality work, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing your concerns will be addressed.

The quality tattoos they produce and the customer service makes 9 Line Tattoo the best tattoo shop in our area. This is not a cookie cutter, cut and paste kind of shop. If you want an unique and beautiful tattoo with an individual personalized flare to it....you come to the right place. They have a waiting list so dont be surprised if you have to wait a couple of months before you can get your tattoo. This should tell you the amazing work they do and how much they are liked. If I could give 10 stars I would! I was tattooed by Anthony “T”. I was laughing the whole time and felt really comfortable. My tattoo turned out AMAZING and I cannot wait for my next appointment.Now that I have completed all my appointments I wanted to update and I still feel the same! I have never been happier with the experience I had and the work that was done. I am in love with my tattoos!!! T even made some corrections to tattoos that I already had that I was really not happy with, until now. I really enjoyed getting another tattoo at 9- line tattoo. Anthony was amazing with detail and very clean. Was very chill. Was my biggest tattoo thus far and definitely made me very comfortable. My 18 year old daughter and I went in for memorial tattoos of our Grandmothers writing. My daughter communicated with Matt prior to our arrival and he was super friendly and ready to go when we arrived. The shop is clean and comfortable (Ive been in other tattoo shops and felt very uncomfortable as they always had so many people just having around), that is not the case at 9-Line. The 9-Line shop is super clean and bright and makes you feel comfortable. Matt tattooed my daughter first (her first tattoo) and then me, my second and he did such a fabulous job. The writing is a perfect match. We both cannot say enough good things about our experience.

I have been to see Matt several times in the last month or so getting a 1/4 sleeve done. I am extremely happy with my tattoo, the cleanliness of the shop, and how friendly and inviting all the employees there are. I highly recommend these guys at 9 Line Tattoo. Walked in the shop, provided an example of what I was looking for and was told which artist (CuzMatt) was best suited. Booked the appointment with a small deposit and returned on the scheduled date. During about five hours total, Matt and his gifted hands took maybe two small breaks as he seemed genuinely interested in the work and how it was turning out. The guy definitely takes pride in what he is doing and it shows in the results. I walked out with an amazing piece and many have asked where I got it. I have other tattoos from different shops in FL and I’ve never felt as confident as I did with these guys. The shop was very clean and licensing is displayed. I have a lot of other work planned and wouldn’t even think of looking elsewhere.

My husband and I are visiting from Chicago and we were looking for a tattoo shop to do our florida inspired tattoos for us and stumbled upon this shop. We are leaving tomorrow and it was just meant to be to walk into this shop on the day they opened! We walked in and were immediately greeted with a happy hello and smiling faces. Told them what we wanted and they went above and beyond and gave us more that what we bargained for! Our tattoos came out amazing! We had the pleasure of working with Matt and he was nothing short of amazing! Great work, tons of experience, PERFECT lines and even matched the shading from my previous tattoo absolutely perfectly! I couldnt recommend this place for whatever tattoo you are looking for. The professionalism and natural creativity behind this group is unheard of. I went in with no idea what I wanted my tattoo to be and threw out many ideas that were all over the place and Matt talked me through it and made my vision really come to fruition. I knew it needed to be meaningful but didnt quite know how. I cant give enough praise other than continuing to return and recommend them to everyone. Aside from their art work they made me feel very comfortable and were a great group to spend 6 hours for 3 sessions.

We were trying to get in to an artist 2-3 weeks ago (started looking about 5 weeks ago) together to get something for our anniversary. Unfortunately hes very in demand so hes booked out quite a bit but because the tattoos my wife and I wanted were small, he kept in touch with me and let me know when he had a small window of time to get me in between appointments, for which I cannot thank him enough!The tattoos we got yesterday any artist could have done, and I knew that when we were looking, but I wanted someone who I not only liked their style but also felt I could trust to do a lot more work I want to have done in the near future. Matt not only made me feel comfortable and happy to have him do my tattoo but he also quickly put my wife at ease with some of her concerns.Long story short - Matt is a GREAT artist and a real down to earth dude. Im a vet with PTSD. Because of the nature of the event, my service dog is not allowed. The surroundings are spacious and calming. (Need I say how immaculate?) The guys are f*n awesome. I feel so comfortable that I almost fell asleep last session, around STRANGERS. My tattoos are pristine, beautiful, and truly have made me want to cry to see my battles told on my skin with such love and reverence. I did my research and this is the ONLY place for me. Forever is a long time, make sure you go to someone who understands that like these guys. Found them just before the pandemic, but that allowed a good deal of conversation. Since, Ive gone three times in the last 2 months. This is where you want to be.

Had Anthony do a tattoo for me. It was extremely unique because it was my unit crest from my time in the army. I did 2 combat tours with this unit, lost brothers on both tours with this unit, and gave years of my life and my youth up to this unit. It was a reminder of the sacrifices that my brothers and I made to be of service. The second most special part about it, Anthony and I served in the same unit. Although brief, it was nice that in passing we served together and that he could tattoo the very same crest in which he wore on his flash of his maroon beret and that we both served in. I wouldnt have anyone else do it. Flew from Michigan to Florida just to have it done. Will remember that for the rest of my life. Excellent skills and talent. You wont be disappointed.

Not only is Big T a highly respected 82nd Airborne combat vet he is also one Bad a$$ Tattoo artist. And i mean artist in every sense of the word. I live 2 hrs away and he did my last tat and will do my sleeve next.

I have had a lot of work done by some good artists, but these guys are amazing at capturing the details. They took the time to listen to my ideas and Matt has done an amazing job at bringing those ideas to life.

Anthony did an amazing job on my tattoo! I showed him what I would like and he perfected it! He is truly talented. I will be back to get more added to it.
