I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo by Ant at Believers Ink, and I cant say enough good things about the experience! From the moment I walked in, the shop had such a welcoming vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The atmosphere at Believers Ink is top-notch—super clean, organized, and filled with amazing artwork everywhere you look.Ant is truly an artist in every sense of the word. His attention to detail and creative vision blew me away. I came in with a general idea, and he worked with me to bring it to life in a way that far exceeded my expectations. Exceptional place I am from New York and I was hesitant from calling places saying 250 an hour. I’m like really it’s so slow here. Needless to say I found this place. I got a wonderful price and a wonderful artist. I cannot express how everyone was I felt like I had, new friends they are fabulous. I can’t wait to get my next one. I will definitely refer them to anyone I know. I don’t do usually reviews. I hope I did the five star.

This place is thoroughly clean and the atmosphere is comfortable, I loved their aesthetic. Ben did my piercings and small tattoo, he’s a very humbling and kind man. Glad I came here. Their prices are great too!

Great place! Accepted walk-in for me and my daughter (we were getting matching tattoos). Where extremely patient with size options and placement. My daughter was slightly unhappy with line work done by her artist but who I think was the shop owner did an amazing job fixing and recovery it quickly so the tattoos came out the same. He was super sweet and I highly recommend this shop!

We walked in tonight for a septum piercing. My daughter loved Core and thought she was so cool! She was so kind and very informative. She showed my daughter exactly what she was going to do before she even started and walked her through the whole process! I couldnt have wished for a better experience. Thank you ❤️

I love this place I have probably about 14 ear piercings and I stopped changing them myself years ago. They are just too difficult to get to myself and it’s quick and easy for a professional to do. The place is clean and welcoming. Core is so sweet and friendly and said she loves when I come in which I thought was really kind. I go get my jewelry changed here pretty often. I’ve had to have medical procedures where I needed them taken out then put back in so she’s done that for me with no problem. I just made my first tattoo appointment with Ben! I’m excited for that, it certainly won’t be my first tattoo but I’m new to Florida and my good experiences with Core absolutely make me trust this shop.

Amazing work took my son who passed art and signature and made something beautiful on my arm to always carry him with me!

I took my daughter here today for a birthday tattoo. Ben is FANTASTIC. Very professional in his approach, listen carefully to any requests my daughter made, and also an all around GREAT guy. I would highly recommend him, whether you are getting your first tattoo, or your one hundred and first tattoo.

Lovely conversation through the whole process, and she was very kind to walk ins and anyone who called. She explained everything she did while she was doing the piercing and was very precise. Ben was outstanding! We took our ASD daughter there to get her ears piercing done, she was very nervous and he took his time and explained everything to her and helped calm her down between each ear. He uses a needle which was a bit scary for her, but he helped her through it! His wife and daughter were also huge helps getting my daughter to feel safe! Highly recommend!

My partner had been looking for a good tattoo parlor for quite some time, and we finally found it. It’s nestled in a shopping center and well decorated inside. Having an appointment definitely helps, but they do accept walk-ins. Ben Lewis is the owner and is very good at what he does. It only took him an hour to do the tattoo and color. We were expecting to be there for at least 2 to 3 hours. If you’re coming with someone, there are chairs for your friend or family member to sit and watch. The prices are super reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

Id been itching for my next tattoo for awhile and since I was in town this past weekend, I decided I needed to go. I called them up and Ben was able to take me the same day (MLK holiday). He was kind, patient & explained the tattoo after care thoroughly. He printed out many different sizes for me to test out and gave me as much time as I needed to decide my placement. I still have the plastic wrap on it but am excited to take it off so I can show of my newest one - which is the most meaningful. I will definitely be back again for my next tattoo. Ben is awesome ! I’ve had 3 piercing appointments in the past with Ben, every appointment went smooth and fast. Today I got my first tattoo, Ben checked up on me every so often to make sure I was still okay and asked if I needed anything. The tattoo turned out perfect and I love it ! I’ve continued to receive awesome service from every appointment I have had. I will be back many more times !

I havent gotten a tattoo in over a decade and this establishment was recommended to me by family members who frequently get work done here. I got my tattoo from Ben. Hes awesome, extremely professional, and does great work. I definitely will be going back.

I recently got my nose pierced here and Ben was fantastic to work with! He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing and all of the aftercare instructions very thoroughly. He also offered to help me change the piercing if I had any difficulty in the future. I would definitely recommend coming here for any piercing needs and I hope to also return for a tattoo in the future!Update: I went back for a tattoo last week and everything was still amazing! I met with Ben for a pre-tattoo consultation, and he had some great ideas. We made an appointment for the work to be done, and Ill look forward to updating with that experience, too. Its a nice, clean shop, with very nice people. UPDATE: Ben did a 3+ hour session with me and it couldnt have been better. He blended some existing work with a deft, experienced hand and Im very pleased with the result. Ill be back to see him again!

Jose did an amazing job with my tattoo(a Ying-Yang koi fish tattoo). I gave him my references and he used his skills and drew up a very detailed design. He asked and made sure I was okay with what I was getting, and that I was satisfied with every single detail. He stayed as late as needed to make sure every single one of his customers was taken care of.

I’m so happy! I got my nose pierced here about 2 weeks ago, and the piercer did such a great job. Very happy with the how it turned out. Will definitely be going back in the future. The shop was very clean, and friendly.

I walked in and talked to Ben about the tattoo I wanted and he was great. As soon as I left I booked my appointment. I walked in at my appointment time to a clean chair and he was ready to get started. This guy is awesome. I can’t say anything bad about him of the place. He hand drew my tattoo and it looks perfect. Ben was very kind and patient with me.I went to him after not being able to put my naval piercing back in. I have a little fear of needles but he did it so gently and quick I could barely feel anything. If I decide I want any more piercings or tattoos in the future he is definitely the first person I would pick. Very trustworthy and kind person.

I brought my daughter in to have her lobes pierced (2nd hole in each) by the owner, Ben. It was such a wonderful experience! Both he and his wife, Alysha, we welcoming, kind, gentle and calming; they did wonders in alleviating her anxiety.The piercing processwas quick and only caused her slight discomfort. I have now had two beautiful pieces. One was full color on my calf and the other was a beautiful script piece of Philippians 4:6 on the inside of my forearm. Both tattoos were executed perfectly and I could not be any happier. Have a wonderful black and grey idea that Ben and I will design together. Basically I tell him in detail my vision and then a few minutes later I am presented with a pictorial account of exactly what I said but in his style. Ben is awesome and his talent is rare to find.

Terrible experience. I was excited to find a Christian company for my trust/faith tattoos. Very nice on the phone until I went for a consult (drove 30 min) and they didnt work through it with me in person. Told me to email them the images and after 3 or 4 followup I still never heard back. Bummer.

Our Tattoo artist was Ben, he was so attentive and compassionate to my little family. We lost our newborn 12/27/2019, my husband and I wanted to honor him with these tattoos. Ben was sensitive to the situation and copied our little ones foot prints exactly the way they were printed at the hospital. Our 5 year old was welcome to stretch out on the couch quietly on a phone and was treated with respect. Ben designed our tattoos quickly and completed both under 2 hours!! Not heavy handed at all and listened to exactly what we wanted!! He even made a tattoo for my son who wanted to be a part of the experience. We have now made this our go-to place and cannot wait to return in the Near Future!!

My wife had her tattoo done here. Ben came up with an ingenious design we had never considered. He did a beautiful job, and my wife was extremely pleased. We would definitely go here for our next tattoo. The atmosphere in this shop is wonderful, and the people are super friendly.

Went in yesterday for a tattoo had appointment with Brian. He was on time and did a wonderful job on a pretty straight forward design. Shop was clean organized talked me through everything. Love the work most likely will go back to have a 24 year old tattoo upgraded. Great job Brian

My artist, Ben, was incredible, professional, warm, talented, and his work is faultless. I will refer anyone and everyone looking to get some beautiful tattoo art to Believers Ink!

I messaged them almost a month ago trying to get simple information for matching tattoos. I had to follow up with them numerous times via phone (mostly) and an additional email before I got a response. Once I got the response I responded to them immediately but I still had to follow up again numerous times before finally they brushed me off stating that they’re going to have renovations and will contact me when the renovations are done. The renovations have been done for a week now, no contact. None of the questions I asked were answered, it seems they’re honestly just too busy to even deal with customers so if you are looking to get a tattoo I would just go somewhere else that actually wants the business. It’s frustrating as a consumer to have to fight to get any kind of result from a service. I wish they would’ve just stated from the beginning that they were not interested in any new business versus wasting time. They were courteous in their responses so I gave two versus one star though 🤷🏼‍♀️UPDATE:As seen by the response below I went ahead and downgraded this to a one star since we can see that this person is completely incapable of taking any criticism. None of the questions I asked were answered in our communication, and he completely misunderstood everything I typed out in great detail with clarity a blind man could see. But as we can tell below he is in capable of taking any criticism or any constructive feedback. As far as the renovations, you publicly declared that through numerous different avenues. But obviously you feel a certain way about anybody stating anything negative and instead of trying to rise above and use it as an opportunity to improve, you can choose to live in the delirious state that you’re currently in. But I find it funny in this review that you’re condemning me while even in the email you stated that you completely missed my previous email and you apologized for the long delay. But I guess we can see that there are two different personalities at work here.

Today was my 3rd time coming to Believers Ink. Dylan is one of the most talented artists Ive had the pleasure of doing my tattoos. I have several tattoos and love them all. This tattoo is special its in honor of my aunt who passed last year. What I brought him was just a simple idea of a bird with an infinity sign. He gave me so much more then what I expected. Thank you Dylan you did such an amazing job and I love my tattoo. Ill definitely coming back to see you.

Jason took me yesterday for a quick walk-in lip piercing. Though I was only there for a matter of minutes, I developed some first impressions of the shop. Jason was courteous and professional, the shop was clean and organized with newer-looking gear, and the price was more than fair. From what I gathered, I would definitely sit with these guys for tattoo work as well. This was overall a good experience.

So ten out of ten would recommend believers ink if I could give 20 stars I would, My Medusa piercing I got last night I think is my favorite! Ben has done every piercing (6) (except my ears) for me since I was 18 and the shop is clean comfortable and family friendly! Thank you Ben for appeasing my mental health gods last night and inflicting the best kind of pain for me lol y’all go book he won’t feel a thing as he says lol

The staff was exceptionally friendly during my visit today. They are appointment only right now due to the coronavirus. The studio is very clean, and they of course used sealed equipment to perform my piercing. Highly recommend them for all there services!

I myself have gotten 3 tattoos from Believers Ink and have been able to experience the artistry of Big Ben, Dylan, and most recently Little Ben. I love each piece I have and that is why myself and family continue to go back. You could not ask for a friendlier staff who jokes around and does their best to ensure you are comfortable. My husband has a piece of art from Big Ben. My brother has work from Dylan and Little Ben. Oh! And Big Ben does the piercings. My daughter got her nose pierced and he did my forward helix. He also graciously changes out my tragus piercings. I love this place and would recommend any of these artists to anyone who wants to know where to get an awesome tat like the ones I have. They do their best to make sure you are satisfied with placement and their works. It is evident they take pride in what they do. God bless and keep up the great work!!!

They were super honest about their opinion on a tattoo I originally wanted and he worked to come up with a better design for it. He was quick and detailed with his work and playful through the entire experience(I dont remember his name unfortunately) Ive gone to this location for half of my tattoos and all of my piercings and have had nothing but pleasant experiences.

I have to say this is one of the best experiences ive ever had in a tattoo shop. I took my daughter for a piercing, and the entire staff was very welcoming. I pride myself on spotting good business. This is a very good business. Its a small shop, which i like. Not huge, doesnt have that corporate feel, and it shows how they treated me and my daughter. It feels like you can sit down and just chat it up if you wanted to. I wouldnt have minded at all waiting an hour or two. But service was very prompt. Ben, who did the piercing, was awesome. He explained in detail how to take care of the piercing before he started, then reiterated again afterwards. He made sure to make my daughter feel comfortable, knowing she was nervous, which in turn made me relaxed and comfortable. Nothing ever beats great service and care to the customer, and they provided it in abundance! I thought my tattoo days are over, but i may have to reconsider. You dont find shops like this that often!

Oh man I never thought Id see a Christian tattoo shop. And I am glad I went. Ben Lewis did an incredible job with my Lion King Tattoo. Best part really made sure I take good care of the tattoo. I will be back but not now. Trying to cut back on getting tattoos after two this year.

I believe the gentlemans name was Bob....he was extremely precise, did great work, and was quick. He took his time to explain the process, and talked the entire time to keep my son distracted (it was his first tat).

Dylan did an amazing heart locket/jewel on my wrist. I brought in a picture of the jewelry that inspired the tattoo and he drew something up. It was perfect! When he first put the stencil on my wrist, we both agreed that it was a little low, and he fixed it. This place is amazing! They will not overcharge you, if anything you get more that you pay for, and if the tattoo isnt perfect, its likely because you didnt speak up. They understand that this tattoo is forever and they want you to be happy! They want your return business! Love this place and so happy I went here for my first tattoo.. they will be doing them ALL!

I got my first tattoo here 2 years ago and they did pretty well. I went in tonight and was told itd be a bit of a wait because one person was in front of me. Okay no problem. Almost 2 hours later another person walked in and he helped them over me. I guess Ill go and get my $300 tattoo done elsewhere.

Really rude, I have over 20 tattoos from artists all over town. All I wanted was a small symbol on my wrist. This artist was critical about what I wanted, really rude, and disrespectful. Most tattoo artist I have met are chilled, and honestly want to please there clients. Really sorry I went in that shop. Really bad energy from that shop. Not good business to laugh and criticize your customers, but hey everyone runs there business how they feel best. I am a nurse and if he ever need care, I wouldn’t still wouldn’t treat him like he did me. Actually feel bad for him, this is on dude with lots of negative Karma.

Ben and his fellow artists at Believers ink have done all of my tattoos. As a Christian, it is so nice to be able to walk into a tattoo shoand the first thing you hear is Casting Crowns playing over the speakers. The atmosphere is great, even for kids. No cursing or yelling. The staff is polite and courteous. As long as live in Hillsborough County this is the only place I would go to get inked.

Artist was very patient with my daughter when we went in for ear piercing. Explained everything, used sterile supplies. Only negative is he used stainless steel posts despite us telling him she was allergic to nickel.

I was too stubborn to believe what others have told me about this tattoo shop. Tho I went there in hope that Ben could give me the tribal design I wanted, and he did a terrible job! Not only was it NOT what I asked for, but the lines were very shaky, he did it a lot Bigger then I asked and he charged me $80.. Tho now I have to go somewhere else to have another artist fix this nightmare.

Ben is a terrific artist. He picks staff well. You should never be disappointed with your work. And the shop is in a good location.

I agree with brandon 100%.long story short, i had a tattoo of marilyn monroe done by some guy people call pops years ago,and the lines looked like 5 year old traced over it.then i went back thinking ben could fix it,and he made the lines look even worse,so now its even harder to fix.i saw some crap from the owner saying we have plenty of chances to fix whatever we dont like,which is true.but the stencil didnt match the actual tattoo what so ever,so theres no chance there.and you guys dont take care of your customers at all,everyone i talked to there was rude,and from what i seen and experienced ,does shitty ass work for cheap prices.i paid a 100$ for mine but i guess you get what you pay for.p.s. get better employees

First Tattoo -- GREAT Experience and GREAT Artistry!My 18-year-old percussionist son Zack found this gem of a tattoo shop ducked away in a strip mall on Hwy 301 in Riverview for his first tattoo and enjoyed his experience and result with artist Ben Lewis. We discussed a father/son tandem tattoo based on our mutual love of the music of J.S. Bach. Bach ended many of his scores writing the initials S.D.G. which is Latin for Soli Deo Gloria, “to God alone be the glory”. Our tattoos is S.D.G. in Bach’s handwriting – my tattoo is on my inner left bicep and Zack’s on his wrist.I made an appointment on their website and got text and email reminders during the week. Ben was right on time and expecting us for our 5:00 p.m. appointment. We completed some electronic forms on an e-tablet, then air-dropped the S.D.G. jpg image to him. Ben printed out several size options to choose from. The actual tattooing was decidedly not painful at all, more of a gentle irritant I’d say, but not unpleasant – difficult to describe! The handheld tattoo machine the artists use are surprising quiet and subdued, not like the loud dental drill sound I was expecting.Believers ink is efficient, friendly, clean -- a terrific shop for your first tat or continuing body art. Ben is an experienced, talented artist, super chill, and a joy to work with. He took the time to make sure we got just what we wanted. Beautiful detail, stellar results!I can’t say enough good things about the fun and enjoyable experience overall with Ben and Believers Ink. I’ll be back!

They were very rude, instead of just telling me to make an appointment for a nose piercing they decided to make a mockery of it. Wouldn’t recommend them at all.
