Xclusive Ink II

I love Xclusive Ink II! I have gone to Sarah a bunch since she began as an apprentice there. She has been a joy every time. I have had 5 or 6 sessions with her and even during her time as an apprentice her work was great and healed well. This speaks to the great teaching of this tattoo shop 😊 She is friendly and makes the whole experience comfortable.Her station is clean and comfortable and she offered me a fidget toy, a candy or something to look at during long or painful sessions. Very easy to talk to as well and we just chat it up the whole time. I’ve loved the designs I’ve gotten so far (both flash and custom). She really works with you to make your vision come to life. Can’t wait to go back, honestly I have found my tattoo artist/shop and will definitely be getting more work from her.The whole shop is clean and spacious, and the people are friendly. It feels like a welcoming atmosphere, and I would recommend it especially for your first tattoo. I have only gotten work from Sarah here, but the other artists have their art/portfolios decorating the walls and there is a lot of great talent here. Looks like something for everyone. I would highly recommend checking them out 😊

I had seen the work of their artist Vanessa on Instagram. I had just lost my dog and best friend of 10 years and I wanted to get a memorial piece done for him.After looking at many artist finally finding her work was just exactly what I was looking for.Trusting someone with something so meaningful is a lot but she truly exceeded all of my expectations.The shop was so clean and amazing when I arrived a truly comfortable and welcoming environment.Being my first tattoo everyone was so welcoming and kind. Vanessa walked me through every step and made sure I was prepared for what was to come.The tattoo i had decided on was my dogs paw print on my ribs. I wanted him to always be close to my heart. I also had decided to take a small heart out of the paw print to represent the piece of my heart he took with him.Vanessa did such amazing work at capturing every detail of his paw and truly bringing his spirit to life through her work.It is safe to say I will be going back to her for many future pieces!

I had a memorial tattoo done in honor of my husband who passed away. I’ve never had a tattoo before. It started with my conversation with Justin who explained things to me, looked at the tattoo I wanted and suggested I see Genesis. She was amazing. Took the time to make sure I was happy with the piece. She was even able to take my husband’s signature off his drivers license and use that. Her work is quality. The detail is amazing. Thank you for giving me a beautiful memory of my love.If I could rate the salon 100+ I would.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a priceless gift.

I booked an appointment with Lo, I had heard so many good things about him through other people so I decided to give him a try and I was not disappointed. The first time I went to him it was for a cover up of a previous tattoo which I did not like but when he was done with it, it was exactly what I wanted. I went to him again to get an add on to a tattoo I have as well as a wave below the tattoo and it was exactly what I hoped for it to be. He made me feel comfortable, he has an awesome vibe and I am truly grateful for him adding his input on what would look good with the tattoo such as size and placing. Lo is awesome I definitely recommend him and look forward to getting some more work done by him.

Lo did an amazing No! Phenomenal job on my tattoo!! His attention to detail is exceptional. I highly recommend Lo to anyone looking for their first or next tattoo! I’ll be booking my next one soon with Lo and I know I won’t be disappointed!

Vanessa is fantastic! I went in for permanent eyeliner and had the best experience ever. The shop is clean and very inviting and her space is tucked a little away so I didnt feel like Id be stared at with some of the flinching that you may be inclined to do having your eyeliner tattooed on 😀 Shes personable and took the time to explain everything she was doing. I came back in for my touch up and she made sure I was completely satisfied with the final result and quick to assure me if I felt I want the liner thicker wed make sure I got exactly what I pictured. Id had eyeliner done before someplace else (it wasnt a fond experience) and now Ill never go anywhere but here!

I travel down from MA to see Sarah C because she is amazing and I love her work! Ive had two tattoos done by her in the last year, and am planning more. The shop is clean and modern, and overall has creative vibes. Its easy to find and there is plenty of parking!

Had a session with Vanessa. The tattoo came out amazing! I sent her some reference photos and she was able to create something so beautiful keeping in line with what I wanted. Vanessa was super friendly and constantly asked how I was doing. Highly recommend her for your next tattoo.

I went to Friday the 13th flash day. To start the check-in staff were so kind and up front about expected wait times. It was so worth it!! All the artists art was displayed and beautiful with varying styles of art. It was hard to choose! Also, I think they are all rockstars for the great energy, passion, and hard work from 9am-10pm!!TAJ did my first piece, Ive admired her art for some time and was not disappointed!! I was sad how quickly and efficient she tattooed that I didnt get more time in her chair. Shes so talented, has clean, BEAUTIFUL work, and brings the best energy! Im over the moon with what she did! I will def. be booking with her in the future!!GENISIS did my second piece. She did a cute lil sternum piece that could be a bit more sensitive area. She handled it so respectfully and professionally! Closing the curtain, stepping out so I can put on pasties etc. Shes another gem! It was complete in no time, and I couldnt be happier! I look forward to booking with her in the future too!THANK YOU!

I went this weekend to get some of the tattoo flashes, it was a great experience and both my boys had their first tattoos done. We all seen different artists so it was good to see everyone’s work.. We will definitely be back!!

I have been coming to the rocky hill Xclusive Ink location for over a year now and it’s been great. Appointments are easy to make and are followed up with better than most places I’ve been to or heard of. Overall chill and relaxed vibe that made getting tattoos easier.

Lo is a very professional and will not stop at a design until the client is satisfied. He makes sure his client is always in great standing when giving the tattoo and communication skills are great. Everyone at Xclusive Ink is polite and give great customer service. Highly recommend the studio to anyone who wants a tattoo and even 1st timers.

Just got a tattoo with Genesis here and it was awesome! I came in with a rough outline and design with some handwriting and she brought my vision to life! She was so helpful, kind and did an amazing job. I love the tattoo and I know it will last because the last one she did for me a few years ago still looks great! Definitely recommend!

Kat was my tattoo artist and was AMAZING!! Entirely was patient, ensured I loved what I was getting with no pressure to agree. Took her time with me and discussed listened to what I wanted. Went through options with me and did not make me feel like any inconvenience at all or annoying for changing some here and there, HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAT!! Will be back for her!

Came in super excited to get my second tattoo back in September 2023. And I was hopeful because I did my research about the artist and liked most of his work. Once it was healed I could have not been more upset. In the words of the artist who is going to performing my black out cover up cause it can’t be fixed. “the scaling is terrible and lazy and the line work is extremely inconsistent, nothing an experienced tattoo artist should be doing” (mind you it is a snake tattoo). Also my artist watched a college foot ball game the whole time he was performing the tattoo. That should have been red flag #1. Will never be coming back.

I had multiple work done here the first one was of my dogs . I gave Portrait pictures of my dogs they came out identical I can not even believe it . What an awesome job . I also had really horrible scars I needed covered up I was very insecure with them . My Artist was Vanessa she was great she took her time came up with amazing plan to cover them . I am so happy . She talked me through the whole process made me feel comfortable and so much more confident. Thank you ! I can not recommend this place enough !

Genesis has done my last three tattoos! Her line work is absolutely amazing and she has made my vision come to life each time! I always recommend her to my friends and those asking about my tattoos! She is a great artist and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the tattoo process! When I saw her last week, we expanded the previous artwork she did about two years ago!! I am so happy with how it turned out and I cant wait to see it all together when it heals!

I’ve been to Genesis three times so far and I always have a great experience! She does an amazing job at creating exactly what I’m looking for and is very patient if I ask to move the stencil or ask to change anything about what she’s designed. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

I went to Lecsys for a fine line tattoo. It’s almost been a year now and every time I look at my tattoo i’m in awe. She did such an amazing job. I can’t wait for my next appointment next week!!!

This past Friday was probably the best Friday I’ve had in years I and my boyfriend went to xclusive ink and got tattooed by Lo, he was absolutely professional, kind, friendly and over all made the experience top tier! This would be our first tattoo by Lo and we’re both happy with the results and the over all experience. Its not my first nor last time at Xclusive ink everyone was extremely professional and kind the customer service absolutely amazing. They make you feel right at home. Got my first tattoo as a memorial of my cat who passed away at 17 one year ago. I wanted him in a Studio Ghibli style but I wanted finer lines and still wanted it to capture his essence (goofy, lovable, playful, always happy). Nunidee really listened, took a lot of care in drawing up the tattoo and absolutely nailed it, even including things about him I didnt mention. It makes me smile everytime I look at it.Additionally, being in my 40s it was an intimidating thought going into a tattoo shop for the first time, but both the artist I worked with and the person at the desk were kind and welcoming and I didnt feel out of place.I already have another tattoo I want and looking forward to going back for my next one.Pictures included are of the tattoo just after it was done, and then just shy of 2 weeks healed.

I finally found a home in this shop. Everyone is personable, professional, and proficient. I am getting my left arm tattooed by Lo. Hes curitious, mindful, and extremely talented. I 1000 percent recommend you go see him for your next project.

Got a floral Polaroid tattoo with Neave during the Xclusive Ink 4/20 special and it’s beautiful! Neave is so sweet and really good with his line work and small details. Just booked another appointment with him!

I came in as a walk in and was able to get in immediately. They were helpful and attentive. Sara was my artist & was super patient with me and the idea I brought in, redoing the sketch for me to my liking. I might’ve drove her crazy but her patience and her sweetness was everything. Great place as well as great artists.

I recently got my first tattoo done by Xavier at the Rocky Hill location. He was highly professional and made sure that my tattoo design was exactly how I wanted it before we began (it also looked kickass when it was finished). He is also very personable and made what should have been a grueling 9 hour session fly by. The new location is incredibly comfortable, clean, and up to date. Front desk staff (Brenda?) were very friendly as well. I will definitely be coming back. 10/10 experience.

Ive been coming to this shop for 3 years now and theres a reason why I dont go anywhere else! My preferred artist is Vanessa! Every single time Ive seen her shes brought my vision to life! She adds her own twist to my ideas, enhancing what it is that I want. Each one of my tattoos has a meaning. Ive been on a healing journey and Vanessa has played a major role in my self love and my confidence that Ive gain over the 3 years. Ive walked out of her shop with my head held high! Its been very therapeutic sitting in her chair. Not to mention her gentle hands! I recently saw her to get my throat tattooed and was told multiple times how pain it was going to be. I was able to sit for hours with the pain on a scale of 1-10 only being a 6! Not to mention the fact that it healed extremely well! People couldnt believe that it was my newest piece. There was very little pealing. Im extremely satisfied and will forever be loyal to Vanessa and Xclusive Ink.

Amazing experience at Exclusive Ink! Had Taj as my artist. Wanted ink that represented my family. The detail of the lioness and her cub was perfect and each moon had the birthstone for each child and grandchild. She took the time to listen to what I wanted to achieve and helped me build a beautiful tapestry. Everything about this experience was perfect. Great shop, friendly people and Tajah was amazing. Picture is fresh ink so it’s bruised and healing. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

This is my second time at Xclusive Ink, first time in Farmington, today in Rocky Hill, and all I can say is WOW! I have had several tattoos done, but Xclusive Ink has some of the most incredible artists I have worked with BY FAR!I came in today after spontaneously booking an appointment two weeks ago, and I am so glad that I did! Tajah was the absolute sweetest and so genuine!! She is super accommodating, and ready to throw in her own personal touch to her art. Her aura and vibe is immaculate. We got along so well, it was like talking to my best friend the entire time! 10000% would go back in a heartbeat to her, and any of the artists at Xclusive Ink! The studio is very clean, organized and easy to get to. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.My wife, daughter and I wanted semicolon tattoos done in support of our daughter and son. They have very deep meaning for us and was thrilled to have Taj do fine line black work tattoos on us.She not only absolutely nailed the tattoos, her personality and caring was amazing. We are so glad she shared this milestone moment in our lives with us.

The shop was clean and calm, spacious and well kept. My teen daughter and I went in for our first tattoos with Thony and Tajah. Both artist were sweet and professional. We felt right at home in their company. Plus their artistic talents are excellent. We are very pleased with the outcome of our tattoos. Both artist were very accommodating in working with us to enhance our designs ideas, and they executed beautifully. We are already thinking of our next visit. I highly recommend this shop . Great clean place! The artist Taj helped bring to life a poorly done tattoo I had on my hand. She got the black in the nice on my dark skin. Coming back for my other hand Tattoo!

I did a ton of research before choosing Lo to do my tattoo. I have 2 other (big) pieces (all from someone else) and decided to stay a little local this time. What an terrible mistake. I got my tattoo in April. The next week it was falling apart. I ended up returning to my previous artist in July and had to get it completely redone because the black outlines were falling out, the color was fading and it just looked awful. Not sure if Lo was having a bad day when he gave me that tattoo....but it cost me 350 dollars for him to have that bad day. On top of having to pay to get the tattoo redone by someone else!! If you want a temporary tattoo go here. If you want it to be permanent, choose another spot.

Mya is an amazing artist and a kind soul. Mya went above and beyond to make sure my tattoo was the right design, size and perfectly placed. Mya had a gentle touch which put me at ease. The entire staff is welcoming within a clean and relaxing space.

Yesterday was my first time meeting Taj for a tattoo and I absolutely will be back for more! I had a few images to work off of and she beautifully created a piece of art that completely encapsulated my vision. Taj is super friendly and took the extra time to make sure I was comfortable and aware of every step of the process. She took the time to make me feel right at home and listen to my story behind getting my tattoo; this made it all the more special. My tattoo took longer than expected, but she adjusted her schedule to ensure my art was complete before I left. Taj really respects her clients and their time. She coached me through my nerves and gave me the courage to sit through the rest of my tattoo. Taj is an amazing artist and even more amazing person! Started going here recently as I’ve been researching artist who can do the type of work I’ve been looking for. Taylor the manager in Rocky Hill was incredibly patient, warm, kind and helpful. I’ve had a half sleeve idea for about 5 years and for even longer I’ve been wanting tattoos for my parents and also to start a leg sleeve of my animals. Abdiel took my visions for my sleeves and made them even better than I could imagine. The amount of comments I get on a daily basis about his work is almost staggering for an introvert like me lol. I’ve also wanted a 13 tattoo on Friday the 13 for longer than I can remember. Today I got to not only get that but I ended up getting the perfect tattoo to honor my parents designed and done by Nuni. I realized very quickly why there’s such a long wait to get in to be tattoo’d by her. She took the design and elevated it beyond anything I could ever hope for. She was fast and had a very light touch. After going to this shop for 3 tattoos with varying sizes and styles, I can promise you won’t be disappointed if you choose any artist here.

My best friend and I got friendship tattoos done by Neave, and it was the most pleasant experience! It was our first time at Xclusive Ink, and it is without a doubt the most comfortable, chill place I’ve ever been tattooed at (and I have quite a few tattoos lol). I’ve been tattooed twice this year at XI — by Mel at Rocky Hill today and a few months ago by Ilhan in Wallingford — and both were great experiences. They listened to what I was looking for, designed accordingly, asked for feedback, and finalized the perfect tattoo for me! I was glad they both gave great recommendations for me to consider re: size and position based on placement, how the skin moves, and how it would heal. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back for more work by these artists! Today (first thing Friday morning) the shop was busy, but every artist was totally focused on their client, which I appreciated.I should also mention that scheduling through their website contact form, phone, and DM on Instagram was all super easy.And — critically important — the shop is clean and follows appropriate protocols for needles, ink, razors, etc.

I have been wanting another tattoo for a while now and found Xclusive Ink II. Because of all the great reviews, I made the appointment and Im not even a little bit disappointed. Nephtali did an amazing job. He was patient with me during the design part and was happy to tweak the design to make it exactly how I wanted it.I did a Celtic cross on the back of my neck and Nephtali made sure that I was as comfortable as possible and didnt mind at all when I had to take a small break in the middle. He could not have been kinder or more patient. The tattoo came out exactly as I wanted and I love it!Everyone at the shop was friendly, polite and very professional. The shop is also super clean. I will definitely be back!!

Lo is the BEST! I wont let anyone else tattoo me again. Lo is great with communication, listening to your vision, making suggestions with placement for the best visual, and very talented as an artist. I have been to him 4 times now, and they have all healed perfectly. If I want to chat we chat. If I want to zone out and relax he reads the vibe either way. I always have a wonderful experience at Xclusive Ink. Ive gotten most of my tattoos from Genesis and she is truly a professional, best person to go to if you like fine line work. She always brings my visions to life and executes them perfectly, and takes her time to make sure its perfect. Brenda the manager is always super kind. You can tell this shop is very high quality, super clean, and has tons of different talented artists so you can find one who can do your preferred style (but I always recommend Genesis!!) If you want a tattoo with a straight line and even thickness… do not go here. I was recommended here by a friend and I am not happy. I came in with a very simple design (lines crossing over each other) and I left with a rushed version of my design. The lines change thickness and are not straight throughout the 3 inch tattoo. My artist (Lo) told me about how he overbooked himself for the day and how how he had to go to his side job later that day (once his tattooing was done). I understand he was busy that day but now I have this tattoo on my body for life. It is not done right and i will have to pay someone else to fix it or live with it forever. If you want the tattoo done right the first time don’t go here.

I just got my newest tattoo done with Nephtali at the Rocky Hill location and it came out even better than I had hoped! He was super patient with me during the drawing process and sizing/placement which we changed a few times. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work! The shop was also super clean and everyone was very friendly :)

I got a tattoo from Lo and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had getting a tattoo. He made sure I was comfortable and put a really cool show on for me to watch as I got my tattoo done. I got a Tattoo from the owner Xavier who was one of the coolest people I’ve met in a while, I got a huge tiger on the forearm so we talked a lot throughout the sessions. Everybody was so so nice and cool the environment in there is so friendly and inviting, such a relaxing spot to get inked. I would recommend so many of these artists to different people I was lucky enough to get inked by the owner but there were so many of them that are unique and dope in their own way. My piece came out absolutely amazing I cant wait to book my next session with Xavier, if you have ever talked to the man you know how much of an inspiration he is and one of the hardest working dudes I’ve ever met!

Not only was the scheduling process easy and to the point (while of course gaining enough detail of my requests), I was greeted upon entry & Mel was at the ready for me minutes before my appointment time! She worked with me to make my tattoo exactly how I wanted it. Her personality is warm, welcoming and she invests in her clients. She shared many laughs and turns out have a lot of similar interest. Her station is clean and organized. I will definitely book more appointment with her to finish up my thigh and arm.

I brought my best friend to get matching tattoos and Kay was just the best! Couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more accommodating artist. Her design was perfect and the staff was very helpful too. Can’t wait to come back for another!

I literally won’t get tattooed anywhere else. Everyone here is professional, clean and friendly. I have been tattooed a few times here and every time I leave super happy. It’s been years and none of my tattoos have faded, they still look as good as the day I got them. My girl nunidee always does an amazing job, and she’s killer at fine lines! She’s so sweet and very gentle, she’s also very knowledgeable! I look forward to coming back in for some more ink! Plus they renovated the place and it’s huge!

I’ve gotten all of my tattoos done by artists at Xclusive Ink and never had a problem with any of the staff or quality of the tattoos. The staff works hard to accommodate everyone and fit them in! I always get compliments on my tattoos and get asked where I get them done. Would recommend to anyone, all the artists are great!

I absolutely love coming here. The first time I had Genesis, she was very kind and walked me through the process. I absolutely love her line, the scorpion was the first piece that she did for me and yesterday I got my dogs paw print on my hip. She was sweet throughout the whole process. I went to get a tattoo by Taj 2 weeks ago and she did such a good job on my piece. It was my first big tattoo and she was so excited to be the one to do it. I drew out my idea and let her put her own spin on it and I couldn’t be happier with the result. She was easy to talk to and had a great vibe. I went to get a tattoo from Lecsys and she did an amazing job! Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant and professional, as well as very willing to work any misunderstandings. I asked for any availability short notice and they were very quick to help me set up an appointment with an artist with the style I was looking for. Definitely going there for more tattoos and would recommend to anyone in the future! 10/10 experience.

I love this place! My tattoo artist Lo is amazing at what he does and impresses me more and more each time I come in. Any tattoo I ask for, I receive, and it comes out beautifully done every time. Everyone there is so kind, very professional, and they always make sure I’m as comfortable as possible the entire time. This is definitely the go to spot for my tattoos now and in the future.

Genesis is the MOST INCREDIBLE woman and tattoo artist. She was recommended to me by a friend and I will continue to recommend her to everyone! My experience there was beautiful from start to finish.
