I HIGHLY recommend Reagan at The Studio Collective for any body piercing needs! Got me in last minute, was so sweet and dealt and worked with my anxiety and faintness so well! I even had a little pierced bunny stuffy to help keep me calm, which was funny and eased the nerves for sure! Everyone else in the studio was SO kind and supportive, even the customers, especially when I experienced a little faintness. They were educational with my piercing and how I would probably react to future ones, and the proper after care! Thank you again!! I will be back!

This shop was previously known as Luminary Ink, and was previously opened and operated by artist, Sarah King. She has been a tattoo artist for nearly twenty years in this area, and made quite a name for herself, locally and beyond. That being said, this family business has revamped and rebranded itself, passing ownership to Sarahs daughter, Nina.As a family that enjoys tattoos and piercings, it was important to us that when the time came for our 7-year-old daughter to get her ears pierced, she have it done professionally, using quality instruments, by hands that were trained and experienced in proper piercing techniques.We arent big on planning, and shops like this are notorious for being heavily booked, but we called one morning to inquire, and their young-yet-capable piercer, Reagan, was able to get us in that afternoon due to a cancellation. How fortunate!Reagan has a great bedside manner with kids, and I was impressed with the way she explained the process, not only to us, but our daughter was well. They included a sterile stress ball for her to squeeze during the process and take home after. She has a good sense of humor and I believe she helped our girl be brave through the process simply through kindness and trustworthiness. Our daughter didnt flinch, tear up, or even show the slightest bit of anxiety throughout the process, the piercings look great, and the experience overall was just perfect. THANKS REAGAN! Were looking forward to more interactions with this business and their artists.

Do not go to this business for brows!! I spent over $600 and I still have blotchy, uneven and patchy brows. They also raised the prices on me multiple times. I worked with Nina and loved her at first but she quickly became rude and unresponsive to my emails. The last time I saw her I left crying after she yelled at me and refused to do my touch up. I’ve had to go to her 3 times before so I understand it was getting frustrating but either correct the problem or offer a partial refund especially when this much money is on the line. You go to these cosmetic places to feel better about yourself and your looks and I left feeling far worse. And now I have to go spend another $600 to get what she did fixed. I’ve been told she did not go deep enough on my skin for the color to take and that’s normally from inexperience. My bottom like is if you run a reputable business you should either fix the issue or offer some of the money back. Ignoring customer emails is never the answer. Disappointed and just want to warn someone else who may consider this shop.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Quality work, clean and welcoming environment. Care and dedication to their work… I can’t say enough about how perfect my experience was over three visits for a cover up.I will go back and recommend to anyone anytime.

Sara did an amazing one of a kind tattoo. Waited several months to get in to see her, and it was worth the wait!

Outstanding performance and I am very satisfied with my new tattoo! Clean place, professionally done by artist and took sanitary precautions when tattooing. The artist was also communicative and pleasant to be around. The only thing there could be a little more improvement on is the response timing through DM. I have asked to see the schedule for different days, but response came back delayed so I had no other choice, but just to choose the day she was open for scheduling; which I originally had different plans to do. Other than that, I highly recommend this place for getting a tattoo to friends and others. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing experience for two tattoos. My mom and I went to get two tattoos as a birthday present and were absolutely blown away. Extremely clean and well kept facilities. The service was amazing, fast, and friendly. We got two amazing tattoos done that were beautiful and well priced. We saw others come in for tattoos and piercings and proper and complete cleaning of the work stations and equipment were done for every client. Overall the best possible shop and I definitely will be back for more!

Leandra was my artist and was very professional and welcoming! The whole shop feels very comfortable and calm, and was an amazing overall tattoo experience. I got three tattoos done by her, and they all look amazing!!!! She understood completely what I was looking for and made the whole process super easy.

What a wonderful tattoo shop! I’m fairly new to the tattoo world. I’m 31 and just got my first tattoo last August in Maine. But I knew I wanted something bigger and more intricate, and Luminary Ink did not disappoint! The shop is very warm and welcoming and relaxing for a circumstance that can be very unnerving to some. The artist I worked with, Sara, made sure that she let me know everything she was doing and was friendly, comforting and understanding. I am BEYOND impressed with the finished product and highly recommend her shop to anyone looking to get a quality piece of artwork on their body. ❤️

Luminary Ink feels like a second home. The moment you walk in you’re greeted with a calm feeling and friendly smiles. My fiancé and I have both gotten tattooed by Lydia and pierced by Nina. Both of these people are so kind and caring. They make sure they’re walking you through everything that’s happening and that you feel safe and relaxed. I’ll always come here for my piercings and tattoos. Although I’ve never personally gotten tattooed by the owner Sarah, her work is outstanding and she’s a very pleasant person. Johns another artist who we haven’t gotten tattooed by but his work is awesome too, and his artwork hangs on the shop walls and is phenomenal. Josie who works at the counter is always polite and energetic and helped take our mind off of things when we got our very first tattoos here a few years ago. This place really does feel like a family and you’re missing out if you don’t get your work done here!

Sarah runs a phenomenal operation. The shop is clean, comfortable, and feels like such a safe space. My artist Lydia is an amazing artist. Her skill, patience, and attention to detail are without comparison. I have no intention of getting tattooed by any other artist at any other shop. I can say, without a doubt, that you will be satisfied with your art and experience at Luminary Ink.

Went there to get a bridge piercing, got an appointment with Nina, arrived on site, Nina greated us with a huge smile and we immediately felt right at home.Nina was so warm and welcoming, answered all of our questions, explained everything there was to know about the piercing, why and how it was going to happen, was super friendly and attentive, oh and very important, everything was sterile and super clean. She made sure my piercing was as straight as can be (bridge piercing can be quite difficult to do), doubled checked, tripled checked and then we went with the procedure.It was perfect !Nina loves doing this and it really shows in her work and how she treated us. Im so happy to have found her, Im already thinking about where else Ill let her poke me with a needle.THANK YOU! 💜

I absolutely love my tattoo by Lydia and I love luminary ink. Such a clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. This is a shop that actually cares about the work they are doing and doesnt just look at each piece as a paycheck. I will never go anywhere else for future work and will recommend to everyone I know!

I had the best experience at Luminary Ink today! Sara microbladed my eyebrows and I now have the freedom of leaving home without having to draw them in...such a relief! I am so pleased with how they turned out. I was excited but nervous going in, not knowing what the finished look would be because my natural brows had gotten so sparse with lots of gray in them. I was afraid they didnt have enough shape to go from. Saras expertise shined through!! She made me feel so relaxed and explained everything she was doing every step of the way. I highly recommend Luminary Inks friendly, talented staff for any of your cosmetic or tattooing needs!!

I came in yesterday for a tattoo for the first time (from this shop). Everyone is really nice and friendly and the shop itself is comfortable, making it easy to relax while getting ink. Jon did my tattoo and did an amazing job. He took my idea and made it into something even better than I had envisioned. Looking forward to coming back here soon!

Just had my tattoo done with Anna. She did an excellent and amazing job. I recommended other people to get there tattoos at luminary ink. Thank you Anna and the rest of the team that works there. It was a very nice environment and great music while getting my tattoo done. Next appointment is all set up in October.

Sara is amazing! She is so kind and talented and really makes sure you are happy with her work. If you are wanting to have your brows microbladed this is the only place in Vermont I would recommend. She is experienced, trained and very skilled. My tattoos and eyebrows look incredible thanks to her.

Sara was absolutely amazing. Over the years my brows had thinned to the point I was having to fill them in everyday. I wouldnt leave the house without my makeup on. Sara gave me that freedom back, simply running to the store on Sunday morning without having to worry about drawing on my eyebrows is something Ive waited so long for. Shes simply an amazing artist who has given me my confidence back. Im forever grateful.

Pretty disappointed I waited months to schedule an appt. with Sara only to be passed down to an apprentice Randy (TWICE) for my first tattoo even after Sara had agreed to do the tattoo. I wanted her style and art but got turned away and passed down to an aspiring tattooist whom I was not interested getting a tattoo from (no offense).

Sara did an absolutely excellent job with my tattoo cover up. I have been waiting years and years to get this done... And I needed to find just the special soul to do it.

Very professional, most of my tattoos have been done by Sara. But yesterday I had some little finger tattoos done by Anna and Im more than happy with them! She has a great future in this art form, I hope to have more done by her. When she becomes famous, I can say Ive been inked by her.

Comfortable atmosphere, clean environment, very professional. Had my eyebrows microbladed and powder tattooed. Love them! Sara tattooed a small script on my forearm and a large tattoo of lilies on my back. Beautiful detail.

I went in for my second tattoo a few months ago. The staff was pleasant. When I went in for my appointment they helped me design my tattoo. It came out beautifully. I would definitely recommend Luminary ink to anyone looking to get a new tattoo!

Two weeks ago Anna did a tattoo of a tribal wolf on the back of my left hand. The line work is just fantastic, the lines are so smooth on the curves. SO VERY HAPPY with Annas work. Now its almost time for the right hand. Thank You Anna for a tattoo to be proud of. Randall

Sarah was very accommodating and made sure the design was something I wanted and kept me informed on any changes. The work is beautiful and did not take as long as expected! The shop was very clean and relaxing and I be left a very happy customer. Will be going back for any more work, hands down.

I have gotten 2 of my tattoos here. Mary is my artist and shes amazing. The whole environment is really nice and all the women who work there are so chill and welcoming. I dont plan on going anywhere else for my ink.

Very rude and unprofessional, if you get a tattoo here Id get tested for STDs because I highly doubt anyone that negative cares enough about you to throw away ink thats had dirty needles dipped into it
