Jhon and Jodi are amazing! Jhon took my run out and get a tattoo when you turn 18 tattoo (which did not age well!) and turned it into a colorful dream scape of bees and my fave garden flowers. Jhon is so talented as an artist, fast, professional and above all, just a generally lovely guy to spend the hours with! Cant wait to get in his chair again!

What can I say here that will truly give Jhon the credit he deserves?!He is a true professional and an absolute master of his craft. Clean environment that provides clients privacy. With near by cheap parking garage for convenience of parking!I’ve had numerous sessions with Jhon while working on a full leg sleeve. More sessions already on the books!After the first sessions, I immediately felt connected to him, as his family is his main priority along with his craft. He’s consistently working towards educating himself, being involved in the community (as his wife and himself made the 1st ever tattoo convention in Vermont happen! Make sure to check out the 2nd convention in Saint Albans in the very near future!), and his highly color saturated and stunning tattoos are a statement piece.I appreciate the ease of scheduling as well.His humility is admirable! Went with the wife yesterday for her Maneki-neko tattoo (will add photo after healed).Jhon has an intimate studio and the entire experience felt like the perfect way to put a person at ease. Mellow music and a soft-toned voice contributed to the most low-impact tattoo experience my wife has ever had. We were in and out in a relatively short span of time (I think it was two hours total?), and enjoyed the visit.Art - I follow a lot of artists, though most focus on woodcut or illustrative styles. Once I saw his Japanese style work, I knew he could make a perfect Maneki-neko for my wife. I dont need to sell his work; you can see it on Instagram. Super-clean, great use of colors, and without disrespecting other artists, the folks I have seen do this level of work (no disrespect to artists I am unaware of) are usually based in city tattoo parlors. Having him up the road in St. Albans is a tremendous opportunity to get high-caliber work without involving a road trip.Artist - Jhon was soft-spoken, pleasant, interesting and good with banter. Hes had a lot of life experiences and the time passed quickly. Ive worked with artists who have said outright that their career is a job choice; Jhon gave the impression that he saw himself as artist first, then tattooist. Most of his recent work seems of a very particular style, but he also said hes willing to challenge himself in new styles (hoping to call him on that at some point).Cost - Cost was very reasonable. I know of people who have had work done in the same price range which was incomparable to his. Ive also known people pay a lot more for comparable work. I would say the skill:price ratio is a very good value.Summary - The art sells itself. This is quality work at a very reasonable price, and if you live in Vermont and have any interest in Japanese and/or color, this is where Id point you. The mellow, low-impact experience was such that Id even recommend him for a new tattoo convert.

Jhon is fantastic. Seasoned artist with incredible speed and beautiful crisp detail. He makes you feel comfortable and always checks in. I grabbed a small flash piece for Friday the 13th. Went back to get a matching piece. Now I have him starting my back and I’m so happy with all three! Cannot wait to have my back piece filled in!

Jhon is the BEST Tattooer I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He’s did over 30+ hours on my back. He’s done my neck, hands, arms & chest. I drove to Vermont from Miami just to get another piece after he left Miami. Worth it every time. Not only is he crazy creative, he’s very patient with designs & you’ll find he’s very passionate about his craft. You’ll leave with a perfect art piece & have a great conversation while doing it. I was lucky to have found Jhon. His art work jumped out of the pages when choosing an artist. The depth of colors just wowed me, and I couldnt wait to get going. What started as a 3/4 sleeve quickly became a full sleeve, which then became double sleeve. Wearing Jhons art has come at a cost though. I rarely go into public without someone stopping me to see all of both arms.Jhon is very professional, friendly and speedy. Worth every dime and Ill probably die covered in his work.

I have gotten two large tattoos by jhon and they are both phenomenal. One is at least 4 years old and I still get stopped and asked about it (by other tattooers and collectors). He’s kind, patient and his experience can’t be beat in Vermont.

Jhon has a talent Ive never seen or experienced before. I have on a few occasions given him a mish posh of ideas I would like in a tattoo. At the end of it he has created an amazing tattoo that I absolutely love.
