Recently got my first tattoo with Jared Coleman. He is extremely professional and genuinely cares about his work/art. I gave him my ideas of what I wanted, things that influenced me, and he exceeded my expectations with what he designed.He thoroughly cleaned my skin and took great care in changing needles frequently to maintain a sanitary environment. He would even change his glove anytime he would touch anything other than my skin. This is something that is very important to me.I highly recommend him to be your artist. He is worth the wait, and worth the price. He’s very open to free consults. Just hit him up on Instagram and he’s quick to respond. @junktooI still have about 4 hours left to finish my piece. Although I still need a session or two more to finish my piece, this tattoo shop has been perfect to work with, the artist care and eye for detail is unmatched by any other shop in Utah, Jared has been great to work with specifically cause he’s working on my back piece, he’ll make sure you’re comfortable and gives you breaks whenever needed, his fine details define the characteristics in the tattoo giving it that true realism style. Matt the shop owner is great as well, he’s very kind andcourteous towards all that enter the doors of his shop and is willing to help you get started on anything from setting up an appointment with an artist to working with you and whatever fits your needs.Will update after the final session.

Jared came highly recommended from a friend of mine, so I booked him for a cover-up, and after a 7 hour session, couldn’t be happier. He’s got the mind of a true artist and understands the way ink lays in the skin, the tones needed to make your tattoo work making every move he makes a pure art form. Looking forward to my next session and would highly recommend these guys.

I drove 7 hours from Phoenix to get my second tattoo from Jared , this shop has some amazing talent . I was in the chair for 8 hours and enjoyed every moment. The space is extremely clean and all the artists who work there are awesome people and super welcoming. My time there was amazing and the piece came out better than I could have imagined. For 8 hours we had some great conversations and I appreciated the company of everyone who stopped in for work to be done or was actively tattooing , it was overall a great vibe.

Went in for the first time earlier today to get only my second tattoo and I could not be happier with the results memorializing my baby girl Belle. Oakley is amazing. Great artist, had great precision and timing, awesome to talk to during the process. I would 100% recommend Zion Tattoo Company and 1,000% recommend if you come in ask for Oakley. I will be back for another memorial tattoo.

Anyone reading the negative reviews on here definitely needs to take them with a grain of salt because Jared Coleman was absolutely amazing and did an outstanding job. His work is absolutely amazing and he’s very in tune with his customers needs and wants. 10/10 recommend!

Went in to get my second ever tattoo, colored this time. I had a great experience with Jared. The design was soemthing personal to me and he was very respectful of that. I am so glad he suggested color. Ive been told color would not do good on me but Jared reassured me color will work and it did. I am so pleased with the color choices. He was very detail oriented and was very patient with me. I am going back again for anothe for sure.

Im from out of town so I was a little nervous since I had no one to ask about the local artists. I got this fairly large, full-color forearm piece from Jared Coleman and it was an absolutely amazing experience! He took a lot of time and care with the design and made sure it would be something Id love. He made sure I was comfortable for the entire thing (as comfortable as you can be, of course.) I am in love with the piece I got and would absolutely come back!

I did a huge, full-color, 2 session tattoo with Jared Coleman. He was incredibly professional and talented. He made sure I was comfortable and knew every step of the process. My tattoo healed like a dream! There are zero blowouts, and the texture he was able to add to the subject was unreal! I have gotten multiple compliments about my peice from those with and without tattoos. The time and detail he put into it was absolutely incredible. I asked for a ridiculous, whimsical design, and he brought it to life. He took my crazy idea and made it even better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Jared as he is well versed in so many different styles, and kills the design every time. His technical ability and color saturation are top notch. I will be back soon for another whimsical design.

Went in as a walk in ,and Jared helped me out we talked and he had someone coming in already but he told it wouldn’t be long so I left and came back later in the day .when I showed up he had a stencil ready and it was awesome just what I was looking for so we got to it and it looks great overall good experience and would definitely go back

Called for a walk-in on a Saturday with some basic ideas and Jared took the ideas and created a masterpiece! I am absolutely in love with my wolf! This was my first larger piece and it felt like a breeze. Jared was super chill and professional. I will be back for more artwork!

I called for a walk in tattoo. Chase had me come in with some time before his next apt. He helped me choose a font considering the font of my existing tattoo. He was clear with how lines may splotch out with the thickness of the letters. He was super smooth when tattooing and perfect with straight lines. He wasnt rough with wiping it off afterwards, and gave me clear info on the best aftercare steps.

I can not recommend this place enough. Ive been tattood by both Jared and Oakly. Ive felt comfortable and happy both times Ive been there. Especially with Jared. My most recent piece by Jared was a session on the longer side and he was supportive and and the piece turned out phenomenal. Once again. All the people there are amazing and I cant recommend this place enough. Easily the best in st george.

Jared was amazing and did a beautiful dainty dreamcatcher on my arm as well as fixing a rose on my husbands hand. The rose was black and white but Jared redid the entire thing in color and now it has depth and the rose pops and looks so realistic! We will definitely be back for more of Jareds work! He is an artist! Highly recommend 10/10

It has taken me quite a while to write this review. I walked into the shop with a picture of what I wanted. Jarrod greeted me and somehow convinced me that he had the skill and imagination to create a custom tattoo without drawing it out first. I give your shop two stars because I take some responsibility for being stupid enough to allow this mistake to happen. He quoted me a price and said if I would allow him to have creative license, he would give me an amazing tattoo. I should have known something was up. I texted him the night before and he didnt have anything drawn up and sent me pictures of dragons that were not my style at all. He said that we would figure it out, no worries. First sitting, he only worked for two hours and it looked like we were on the right track. The night before late in the evening I received a text cancelling my appointment for the next day because he didnt get the supplies he needed. (Apparently he didnt know this until after 9pm.) We had a few unhappy text messages regarding this but resolved the issue and rescheduled. Next visit he worked on the back part of the dragon and we talked about the tail and different ideas. After this visit I sent him multiple pictures of heads that I liked. He ignored those messages. Last sitting he did a head of his own creation...yep, I sat there and let him do it. It was not what I had in mind but not terrible, so I let him go. He proceeded to finish up without doing any detail, did not do any work on the tail and ignored any other ideas that we had discussed. He is awkward, sullen and doesnt listen. His customer service skills are nonexistent. I am a good customer. I am willing to pay. I paid him in full, gave him a tip and was ready to pay him more on my last visit because I understand that he shouldnt have to work for free, even though it was above the agreed upon amount. At the end of the last sitting, he said, let me know if you want to do anymore work. That was my cue that we were done. I now have a dragon that looks like a dinosaur with no tail. I have reached out to several people and so far no one is wiling to touch it. PLEASE, if you are considering a tattoo, dont go to this guy and be sure to see the art before you let someone start doodling on your skin. You are going to live with this for the rest of your life.

I recently got a tattoo here from Jared, and holy sh!t he’s good, I got a Nordic compass with a friend of mine and let me tell ya, they look awesome, even down to the smallest details. Will definitely be back in the near and far future💪

I tried to work with Jared Coleman for a tattoo and he was totally unprofessional, I was very excited about his work, as it was genuinely some gorgeous stuff, but after asking about the process and apparently not replying to him fast enough he treated me incredibly rudely and ended up blocking me after I didn’t do anything to him aside from ask questions and not reply quick enough apparently? Getting a “seriously?” When I didn’t do anything but not reply for a few hours?Overall I’d say he seems totally unprofessional and incredibly rude. I’m baffled that he treated someone so interested in his work like he did, he acted completely arrogant, and if you want a pleasant experience or to actually be able to see a design that means a great deal to you, I’d go elsewhere, there’s artists who do work just as good, if not better, and are incredibly more pleasant people.

Jared is an amazing artist! I cant recommend him enough! If you looking to get an amazing quality tattoo hes your man!

Karl did my tattoo and it was fantastic. The lines were clean, its healed amazingly. The best thing about this place is how amazingly clean their shop is! That is what made me want to go to them in the first place. Karl was very careful to ask enough questions so that my tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it. I am super happy with it, they are priced decently and I would definitely go back and have Karl do more.

Chase is absolutely the best anywhere. Forget just St. George. A tattoo of his quality work would cost you more and you’d be on a wait list in a bigger city. His work is so clean and so dynamic. He’s also an amazing artist and painter and has a beautiful, painterly style. I’m very picky and would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

I follow Matt (owner) on Instagram and when I decided to get my next tattoo I was determined to go to his shop. I am from Texas but we were on vacation about 45 minutes away and it was so worth the side trip. I was a walk in when the shop opened and I found that Matt was booked through August. Since I read all the reviews listed here (this is a serious thing! Tattoos are forever.) the other artists in the shop were praised highly as well. The claims of the cleanliness of the shop were not exaggerated and I felt very comfortable walking in and asking for exactly what I wanted.I am queasy around needles and Jon, the artist who helped me was very patient and very good about keeping me calm.He was fast. (Minimized my pain and unease)He was good. (The art is EXACTLY what I wanted.)He was thorough. (With placement, size, color, and shading.)The fact that he giggled throughout the process because he liked the characters Id chosen so much also put me at ease. He answered all my silly questions to ease my nervousness.All the artists in this shop are friendly, knowledgeable, and just pleasant. They work is clean and so is the shop.Im still looking at my at my little characters and smiling. The detail and shading...its just perfect.

Oakley did an excellent job on my sons tattoo!

I was only in saint George for a couple hours on a business trip. I needed to head back to salt lake City for a family funneral. My cousin who was a young mother of 3 and only 28 years old passed away the day after Christmas from the flu and her mom passed away 34 days after her. I wanted to do a tattoo in honor of my cousin before the funneral. I was pressed for time and when I walked into Zion tattoo all their artists were pretty busy. Josh was such a sweetheart and heard me out. He heard my story and saw my design idea. He was gracious enough to squeeze me in before his next appointment which wasnt a lot of time. Even though we didnt have much time, he really did such an amazing job at making sure it looked right and the way I wanted and also took time to make sure the placement was perfect as well. I cant thank him enough for making an exception for me and doing that. When I showed my tattoo to my cousins husband the next day at the funneral he Burst into tears and said it was so perfect. Penguin to represent how much she loved penguins. Holding a dandelion making a wish that said hope which was her middle name. Forever thankful. I love my tattoo and I loved my experience at Zion tattoo

Horrible with JoshWent in to get my first tattoo ever, with a picture of exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it. He seemed bothered the moment I told him how I wanted it because from a professional I was getting it esthetically upside down My tattoo, my body, my choice though or so I thought. He puts the paper on my wrist and it looked super good AND straight, a little off to the side but he was already ornery that I had him print the size a few times so I didnt want to bother him again. Dont ask me how it end up looking all crooked and like my eight year old did it. Thanks Josh, now I have an ugly tattoo on my wrist that I somehow will have to get fixed.

I havent personally been to this tattoo shop, but Ive had Matt do some work for me and hes a Grade A+ Tattoo Artist. Most people who go to most shops have no idea what they are really doing, but you can absolutely rely on Matt. Very professional and expert.
