Super clean and awesome shop. Lots of neat and unique decorations! The owner “Doc” Michael Ledbetter is the most talented tattoo artist I have ever met. I went to his shop with a drawing on a piece of paper hoping to turn it into a sleeve. He went above and beyond to make it even better than I had imagined. It isn’t fully completed yet because we are doing segments at a time, but it’s seriously amazing. He changed up the design and added his own ideas and now I can’t go anywhere without someone stopping me to ask who did my work!! Not only is he an amazing tattoo artist but he is also very kind, understanding, personable, and hilarious. He has done multiple styles of tattoos and researches before he does anything he isn’t familiar with. You will never be disappointed if you go to him!

Not only is Doc one of the best artists around, hes also one of the best people. Hell keep you entertained and interested all while giving you a piece of art youll love showing off. Plus hes got one of the coolest shops around, and youll feel like you stepped into one of your best friends home while youre there. Both him and his shop live up the name, and youll be itching to head back for another tattoo in no time.

“Doc” Ledbetter’s Good Vibes Only tattoo shop is a work in progress and it’s already awesome! It’s a fun, clean, comfortable, and positive space to get a tattoo. Doc is a charismatic, friendly guy who really has the client’s best interest in mind. I am completely satisfied with my tattoo. Doc is not heavy handed with his application OR his pricing. I thought the price was very fair and the work was excellent.

Doc is awesome! I came back to the states on leave and I wanted this picture I drew done. My sister had her tattoos done by him and I liked his line work on hers and so I messaged him. It meant alot that he was able to take my picture and make into a beautiful tattoo.It took three visits for it to be completed but it was worth it... It starts at my hip, goes up my side and ends on my back shoulder blade. I just got it completed last Saturday and its healing amazingly, I just messaged him asking if he could see me since I wasnt going to be in town long and he got to work the next day.Also his pricing is reasonable and fair! Ill always recommend Doc to anyone looking for a tattoo in San Angelo.Doc let me know if youre ever in Arizona!

Got an amazing tattoo from Joker recently and seriously couldnt be happier. He and the shop are super laid back, and I was so comfortable the whole time. Ive honestly never had a tattoo heal so quickly and painlessly. My only complaint is that its too cold to wear shorts every day to show it off! Ill recommend him to anyone, anytime. I have 7 tattoos and my experience with Michael was by far the best Ive ever had. He makes you feel comfortable the entire time. I was twitching a little and he never showed how annoying it probably was. The conversation flowed easily. I gave vague ideas for my tattoo and he gave me more than I thought I wanted. The work he did is definitely my favorite one yet. I already have a session booked for my dad and my husband soon too.

Went to Doc Ledbetter and pitched the idea of a half-sleeve valkyrie as a memorial to several close friends who have taken their lives over the years. I thought for sure Doc would have hesitated, given hed be tattooing over scars. However, not only did he not hesitate, he took the idea and ran with it,and created the most beautiful tattoo I have on my body (and that says a lot, since all of my tattoos are pretty high quality work). For the first time in years, Im not embarrassed to show my arms (as he worked around and with the scars) and the tattoo is definitely one that I would say honors my friends incredibly well. Im beyond thankful to Doc for this beautiful piece.

UPDATE * I had a couple of questions after I posted this review and Doc answered my questions promptly and helped ease my mind. Already trying to figure out what my next one is going to be!Got my first tattoo here a week ago. Fantastic experience. Doc took the time to draw my tattoo up twice because the design I originally wanted was lacking something, he explained why he wanted to change it and asked if I was OK with that. I was and I could not be happier with my tattoo!

Got a tattoo from here that I’ve been wanting for a long while now & I couldn’t have picked a better place. Houston did an amazing job and I’ll definitely go back for the rest of the tattoos I plan on getting! Doc did mine and my moms matching tattoos! They came out great! Wenhad a blast being silly in the shop with everyone waiting for appointment time. We got to a late start but I promise it was more than worth the short wait! Love the taytoo! Love the work done by Doc!

So my dude Doc was amazing. I popped in, told the man what I wanted, threw down the money and scheduled my sessions. Not only did this man go above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my piece, he even in my opinion, gave me way more than what I paid for. After going around and checking out different shops in town I made up my mind to just go out of town until a friend reminded about Good Vibes Only downtown. Doc went out of his way to help me come up with exactly what I wanted and added his touch of rad to it. I got 2 rad neck tats and now I have returned and in the process of an entire sleeve. So glad someone in this town has the talent I was searching for. If your taste is rad, cool, gnarly and drama free then this is the shop for you.

I went to Doc with the idea for a half sleeve valkyrie to honor two of my closest friends who had both taken their lives. I sent him some ideas but wanted him to make it his own, and he definitely blew me away with the resulting tattoo. Im known for only getting high quality work done, and, due to my valkyrie being a memorial piece, had incredibly high standards for it. The valkyrie piece that I got from Doc is easily the most beautiful of all my tattoos. Its also the only tattoo I have that people are consistently asking where I got it done at. Im incredibly thankful for the time and effort Doc put into my valkyrie piece to ensure it was perfect and honored the lives of my best friends.

We took our son for his first tattoo on 15 April. The owner was very welcoming and walked our son through the process. When the tattooing started, our son struggled getting through the pain. I loved my whole experience at this tattoo shop. I got my neck tattooed and was worried it would hurt extremely bad. However I was made to feel very comfortable and I loved how friendly everyone was. My tattoo has healed and it looks great. I will definitely be getting more tattoos from here :)!!

I came in to Good Vibes with part of a Tim Burton poem and picture that I wanted to get done and Doc took the time to ask me about where I wanted it, sizing, and pricing. We set up a date and did the damn thing. Came out looking fantastic! Doc even accommodated doing a Tim Burton type font to go along with poem! Definitely one of my favorite pieces to date.

The best place in town to get blasted with ink. Clean enough to eat off the floor! Who doesnt want to get tattooed by a veteran medic?!? I would take my grandma there to get skin art from the best! Will be back again for sure soon as possible.

This place was awesome. I got a whole Irezumi/Japanese sleeve done by Doc, very affordable, but more importantly, it turned out great. He got it all done in only a couple sessions too. Works fast, works well. Totally recommend.
