Great business and people! Hunter gave me my first color tattoo and my tree slice and I’m so happy with how they came out. Super clean, professional, kind and talented— just like the whole gang at BHTE 🖤

My wife and visited this shop on Saturday 8/17/24 and it was immaculate and by far the most well kept clean shop I have ever been to. It was a few hours to closing and we were in town only for a few days and Alex (tattoo artist) made it happen. We got our wedding rings touched up and not only did he do an awesome job but he was friendly and very professional. Will come back anytime we get another tattoo. Will recommend this shop to anyone and everyone in the area.

I went in for 3 ear piercings and was fully informed of the necessity of aftercare, well, I didnt follow them well and went in a few months later with an infection in my helix piercing. Erika, like a good mother, and piercing doctor, set me straight! I felt pretty embarrassed to admit my folly but Hunter was gentle and cleaned up the piercing and replaced the ring I took out and was told to come back in 2 weeks after following the aftercare, 5 days later, it is healed! I am so grateful to them both plus I get to keep my helix piercing now! Fantastic group of caring body piercing artists! Thank you Erika and Hunter!

I made an appointment with Erika to get my ears pierced I arrived super Early and she was so kind and sweet she got me in Early and She was So Gentle that I didnt even feel the piercing needle go in. I will definitely make another appointment with her!!!

I’m in the process of a full sleeve with Hayden, he’s been awesome to work with - he really listens to understand - working with him and watching him create my dream sleeve has been a joyous experience. He takes his time explaining everything about his creative process / interpretation of my ideas and wants. He’s patient, never rushes ANY detail and is an amazing artist. All that said, months before I scheduled this big project, I came in with my friend to try to get quick matchy tattoos, unfortunately everyone was busy, but even super busy, Jon greeted us right away, asked us what he could help us with, let us down gently (haha), and Erika made a recommendation to a shop that could possibly help do our simple tats. Everyone is super nice, really friendly and will do all they can to make the tattoo of your dreams happen. Love this place. If you can’t get in right away; they’re more than worth the wait.

Absolutely wonderful visit. Hayden was my tattoo artist. He was pleasant to talk with for the three hours I was there.I have multiple tattoos by various artists and never have I had an artist pay so much attention to detail. There were multiple times when he would refer to the template before continuing any lines. Super appreciated when the area he was working on became red and sensitive, he would stop working on that area and move on to a different section. Made getting my tattoo a very pleasant experience.The facility was very clean and has a relaxed atmosphere.Will return to Bleeding Hearts again for more work. Will also recommend Hayden when asked where I got my tattoo or if a friend is looking for a great place and awesome person to do the work!!!Kudos, Bleeding Hearts Tattoo Emporium!!!!

Called to make an appointment not realizing that I have a medical appt coming up and had to cancel 2 minutes after calling to get a refund for my deposit and they refused to refund my card. And they did not discuss with me that they would be charging my card as fast the did. And their pricing is ridiculous❗️❗️❗️🤬

My friends and I came here for an impulse tattoo during a girls getaway, and they were able to get all of us done even though none of us had appointments (all walk ins). Hayden, the new residential artist, did my tattoo and was very helpful with suggestions and alterations; I personally think he did better than the reference photo I showed him. I loved the shading, and he was able to add color without making it look any less dainty than I had wanted. Would definitely recommend coming here for anyone considering

These guys are amazing! They truly care about their customers and go above and beyond all expectations! Erika was so professional yet caring and kind when piercing my 12 year olds ears AND talk about knowledge! These guys are so educated and knowledgeable in what they do! I never knew how damaging some piercing methods could be. I am so thankful we found her! They are also such great supporters of our community and youth! We are so lucky to have them in our town!!

Brock did an amazing job. I’ve been in twice already, my tattoo looks awesome. It’s a very professional studio that obviously takes its time to honor customer health & safety. The place is immaculate. One of the owners answered a call while I was there to answer some concerns about proper tattoo healing & after care from a concerned client who received a tattoo someplace else in town who obviously received no information. That was so professional & classy.Well done Bleeding Heart, Well done.

I got my tongue done about a year ago here by Erika and it was such a great experience. She made me feel super comfortable and let me know every single step she was doing so there wasn’t any surprises. She was also super nice and really cool to talk to. She was so great that my friend actually went to her to get her nose done a few months later! Definitely recommend this place any day!

By far the best place in town. It’s always so clean, the staff is always willing to go above and beyond for their clients. Their knowledge on the subject matter is leaps and bounds beyond anyone I’ve seen in town or else where getting tattoos. They spend the time to get to know their clients to create the perfect tattoo. They are always friendly. If you aren’t looking for a tattoo don’t worry because their resident piercer is amazing too! She is great with all ages. You won’t be disappointed.

This shop is so clean, and the artists are very kind. Erika designed a beautiful one of a kind piece of art to represent my son. And we’re already planning my next piece. Also a relaxing environment that helps the entire tattoo experience. I’ve gone other places, but feel most comfortable at Bleeding Hearts. These guys are also huge in the community. Whether they’re Cleaning the Long Bridge, or sponsoring movie nights, they’re making Sandpoint a better place. I recommend anyone to go to any of these artists for their work.

Bleeding Hearts is by far the best tattoo shop in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. I’ve traveled the country from coast to coast with the military, and have also traveled the world while deployed. I rank this shop among the best I have ever seen or been tattooed at.Very courteous, professional, and talented artists. Jon has over 35 hours of tattoo time on me, and still another 40+ hours planned in the future. Erika will soon be starting my retro themed leg sleeve that I have wanted for awhile now and I couldn’t be more excited. If you are in the area and want a tattoo or piercing you won’t find anywhere better than Bleeding Hearts Tattoo Emporium!

Got another set of lobal piercings here, and it’s my best experience so far! it was fast, but well done, and by far less painful than any I’ve had. also the first time I’ve had someone walk me through what to do, and more importantly what NOT to do, so thoroughly. would definitely recommend!

I got my first tattoo at 60 years old yesterday. My tattoo artist, Brock, drew up my tattoo with Swiss Alps and an Edelweiss flower. He was such a pro, and totally focused on his craft. Im so pleased with the outcome! I watched my daughter get her first tattoo the night before from Brock, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the whole shop, and the precautions they take to keep it all safe for everyone. Get a tattoo from Brock at Bleeding Hearts. Hes a kind soul with a great pen!

I, and several of my friends and family members have come here for tattoos and piercings and we’ve all been really happy with them. I have a lot of tattoos done by Jon, and his line work is so good, and he is so professional and funny. It’s always an enjoyable experience. Any time I’m in Sandpoint, I try to stop in and get something new! Would definitely recommend coming here if you are in the Sandpoint area!

Jon is doing some work on my arm. Very realistic artistry and a nice relaxing atmosphere to get work done. Erica is super nice and does good color work. Highly recommend them for simple or intricate art.

Had a sleeve done by Mr. Bates along with a ring tattoo. Ms. Cox did a tattoo for me along with piercing. The best work I could ask for. Professionalism, having a sterile environment and equipment is their priority. Their small town friendliness and care is genuine. By far this is the best place and staff to have any tattoo or piercing done at.

It was well set up for relative privacy when getting a tattoo or piercing. Reasonable rates. I personally didnt have a great result but its not due to the business in general.

My old review doesn’t quite fit anymore so it’s time for a little update.I’ve been getting tattooed at Bleeding Hearts Tattoo Emporium for over 5 years now. The dedication coming from Jon and Erika for each piece they do is incredible, whether it’s a walk-in, event, or custom work.I’ve been a walk-in, I’ve gone to their special events, and I’ve booked several custom designs hand drawn by both artists.What I’ve personally experienced in the shop is consistent each time. From preparation, the tattooing process, to aftercare. They’ve never allowed any outside circumstances to affect the outcome and quality of my tattoos, whether the shops extremely busy, or rudeness from people over the phone or at the shop, or even just feeling under the weather.If you’re shopping for an artist come in and check these guys out, even if most tattoo parlor atmospheres aren’t for you, you won’t regret the outcome!

We had a great experience....very clean and sanitary. Brock did a great job on the pieces we wanted done. The fish tank is awesome, the atmosphere is comfortable. We will be back!!

Had my nose piercing and naval done at another place and they were installed so tightly that I couldnt remove them to change them out. Erika pulled them both for me for no charge, and then I went ahead and bought new jewelry while I was there, just to support them.
