Pain and Pleasure Tattoo

Do not recommend my sister got her industrial done there and she took great care of it and it got severely infected and she had to remove it and is now seeing a plastic surgeon on Monday to make sure her ear heals correctly!Edit-it’s now later that night and my sister is back in the ER they are now saying she could have cauliflower ear for the rest of her life if they can’t figure out what’s wrong soon.please do not come here!I’ve put a picture of her ear from earlier today it has now doubled maybe even tripled in size.she is now being admitted to the hospital and she could face major ear defects or even loose the top half of her ear.

This place was very clean and well set up. He was great with designing tattoos and added extra to make them just right.

Got a piercing there went good, attempted to get a new stud and could not contact the owner, messaged on facebook, emailed , and even called. Not good at being in touch with coustumer.

They moved to another location in Sandusky but the new place is soooo nice and open! I love it! My mother in law and I had appointments to get our tattoos done by Rob, and he did a phenomenal job!! He is a true artist! He took his time, captured every detail of our Tattoos and his prices cannot be topped for the quality of work he does! You can tell he loves what he does and is incredibly gifted! Thank you so much Rob for taking such good care of us and doing an amazing job! Well be back!! ^_^

Great job at fixing and taking on different challenges. I have to get one more session and itll be done. The original artist didnt give me what I asked for so I went here and was very happy with the results.

Got my first tattoo on my wrist and my nose pierced. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I explained that I was nervous, and he helped calm me down. I’m in love with both!

Came here to get a couple of replacement lip rings. I came from True Innovations where their door was locked shut. Came here and their door was actually propped open, thats how inviting and welcoming they were. Will never be returning to True Innovations again and from now on if I lose another piercing I will just come here and maybe Ill even get a tattoo in the future!

It has taken some time to find an artist willing to assist me in completing a coverup. I reached out to Pain and Pleasure and received a prompt response back from Dave, as he was willing to take on the challenge. From the consultation to the final product Dave was extremely patient and professional with me. He explained each step of the process and took his time to bring my vision to life. He demonstrated his talent and knowledge throughout the entire process and produced a beautiful piece. I would definitely recommend checking out his work. The environment was very spacious and clean as well. I will definitely be back for more work in the future!

My first time in this studio and I was initially in awe with the cleanliness and presentation of the main lobby area. Rob did my piercings and was very professional and kind throughout the whole process and thorough with the aftercare instructions. Highly recommend for your piercing endeavors.

I went here about two weeks ago with my roommate to get some piercings done and only one word can describe our visit...FLAWLESS! From the time we walked through the door to the time we walked out Tony, (who also happens to be the owner), was superb. He was genuinely nice and welcomed us. He made us feel extremely comfortable, especially considering the types of piercings we were getting. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were geared with the proper knowledge to take care of our piercings. Both being from out of town we were definitely satisfied. I wouldnt want anyone else to do another piercing on my body if it isnt him. Id recommend this place from the grave.

Everyone was super nice and helpful. Two of my friends got tattoos and I got a double piercing from the owner, Rob. The work was great. Rob also went out of his way to help me by allowing me to interview him for my college term paper. He was super cool about it and talked to me for a half an hour. Good experience. They informed me up front about the costs of the piercing, and were able to answer all of my questions when I stopped in the day before.The day of, they took me right away despite no appointment. Got my piercing done, and my companions as well.Rob helped us. He was clear and easy going. He didnt mind me asking him to repeat his directions, and let me take notes the second time.Recommended!

I was at Cedar Point and impulsively decided to get piercing done. Called Pain and Pleasure tattoo and the phone was answered within one ring. They were very friendly and I was welcomed to walk in at any time because the piercer would be in all day.The building is easy to spot, very clean and neat inside and out and has a comfortable waiting room.My piercers name was Tony. He is genuinely amazing! Ive never met his match. My piercing was in a fairly personal location and he was very professional the entire time. He was thorough in his explanations and instructions from beginning to end and even said if I have any questions of any kind, to give him a call. He was so quick I barely had any discomfort and there was no bleeding whatsoever.I wish I had met him years ago and gotten all my piercings done by him!!! Dont hesitate to go get a piercing done by Tony!!!

Got a tattoo done by Rob, the owner. He was super cool the whole time, made me feel very comfortable and right at home. Hes really a perfectionist and took a lot of time to make sure that my tattoo was as perfect as possible. The price was pretty unbeatable too! Looking forward to going back.

My wife got her ink at the new shop and she loves the new space, nice, open and relaxing. Rob is the best and takes pride in his work, a world class artist, I wouldnt think twice about getting his work again he is the best.

Just got a double helix piercing from Rob a few days ago and it was an awesome experience. I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted when I went in but he helped me out and made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process. I love my new piercings and would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking to get pierced.

Brought my 15 year old daughter in for her second lobe piercing. Everything was clean and they were very friendly. The process was very smooth and professional. We were informed of aftercare instructions as well as provided a printed copy. Highly recommend!

Just got my anti eyebrow pierced and i love it. I was in and out yet still thoroughly explained about my aftercare. I shouldve asked the gentleman his name because he did my nose piercing as well 3 years ago and i loved that one too. Hes great! Placed my anti eyebrow exactly where i wanted it.Totally wouldnt go anywhere else

Very good sterile technique. My son has had three tattoos from Rob, and one was extensive. I also took my great niece for piercing by Rob. He gave very good aftercare instructions and there were no issues of infection from any of the tattoos or piercing.

I took my daughter to get her daith pierced and when we walked into Pain and Pleasure I was highly impressed by the look and feel of the shop, very clean and decorated nicely. The staff was nice and helpful. My daughter felt really comfortable and the guy joked around with her making her feel at ease. She loves her new piercing. I decided to get my daith pierced also after seeing her get hers done. I would recommend Pain and Pleasure to anyone looking to get a piercing. Prices were also very reasonable. Ive had 4 piercings and 1 tattoo done by them and theyre WONDERFUL. Even gave me an extra nose ring when I said i didnt have any extras yet. (Had some ordered but not here yet) theyre super friendly, clean, fast, and have amazing quality tattoo artists. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Michelle came in after hours to pierce my VCH, which was really awesome of her. She was so friendly, and everything was so clean and professional. I was excited to get the piercing, so I left happy and grateful that she came in on her day off to make it happen.However, after having a good look at the piercing when I got home, I realized it was pierced much too shallow. It looked like it would be easily ripped out because not much tissue was in it, especially in that delicate area. I contacted her the next afternoon, and she asked me to come in for her to check it out. She took out a ruler and measured the amount of skin in the piercing, which she said was 1/2cm and adequate for the piercing.I told her I was worried it was unsafe the way it was placed, and I asked her to remove it. The shop owner would not refund me, nor did anyone else come in to see if the piercing was actually placed correctly. I was offered credit to have it re-pierced. Michelle was very sweet about it, but I am pretty upset that I’m out $150. Having this redone at the same shop puts me at risk of getting this painful piercing performed incorrectly a second time, and I (think understandably) don’t want to risk it.Everything online, including published journals from the APP, state that a minimum of 3/8” of tissue is required for this piercing to be performed safely. My piercing had barely half of that amount of tissue, and with 16g jewelry even though 14g is the professionally recommended minimum gauge for this piercing. It was inevitably going to migrate and/or be ripped out and cause damage.I would not recommend this shop to anyone based on this experience. I’m sure Michelle does amazing work on other parts of the body, but I feel like I was a guinea pig with this particular piercing and then ripped off when it wasn’t done correctly.

Rob got us in at the end of the night since we were leaving for Pittsburgh in the morning. So glad we came to his shop. The shop is very clean and his work is amazing. Would rate way more than 5 stars if I could.

I went last week for a piercing and was greeted instantly by their very friendly, welcoming staff, and was in and out in 10 minutes! I had both ear lobes re-pierced (old piercings closed up many years ago). The young woman who pierced my ears spent a long time setting up exactly where the piercing needed to be for the best effect. She measured the area ( sounds silly but it was setup beautifully) and explained everything she was doing and why. The actual piercing hurt a lot for about 30 seconds and that was it! She explained the aftercare for best results. It was the best experience Ive had with piercing. I will return soon for a helix piercing!

I called the shop on Saturday and got a message to go to Facebook and message them there. When I did I got a response right away. After explaining what I would like which was a small paw print on my foot I got no response. On Monday I also got no response when I message them about receiving my message from Saturday and about other work that I would like done. Apparently they only do larger tattoos. I’m more upset that they wasted my time.Update: this is the response I finally got when I did get one.Sorry we are very busy and unable to get back to you right away as we are all busy and booked out several weeks. You messaged us over the weekend, asking us about availability on a day that we are closed. Take your bad attitude and negativity elsewhere. Thanks

Best tattoo shop in the area. New owner has renivotated the entire shop, making it look awesome on the inside. Not to mention adding some new and very talented artists. I really love how they focus more on the custom side of tattoos and great line work. I highly recommend checking them out.

My friends and I came in to have matching tattoos done on Saturday evening. We had a great time and loved the atmosphere. The llama jokes were never ending and we all loved the result!

The people there were very nice and friendly. I walked in to get my Industrial pierced and was sitting for less than a minute when an employee started to service me. The only think i didnt like about it was that I never caught his name (I called and asked, his name is Tony) The guy took me back into the room and he started the process. He let me pick which color bar I wanted in my ear and he checked to make sure that I liked the two piercing spots, then beginning to pierce my ear. He didnt talk through the process with me but he did offer for my friend whod come with me to watch and video it, but she was too squeamish. After it was over, I asked him about a healing cartilage piercing on my other ear and he told me the exact condition of it (it was still half pierced and there was a keloid-an excess of cartilage/a build up of hard matter-on the back of the piercing). He them offered to repierce it free of charge (I now realize that he is the owner which is probably why he could do that)! Ecstatic, I let him do it and he offered me advise on switching out the back of it and on which brand of earing is the best as well as how to save any of my piercings should they become infected. In all, it was a wonderful experience. I have gotten my lobes, industrial, and cartilage pierced there, my sister has gotten her lobes and rook pierced there, and my sister in law (a tomczyk, she wrote a positive review too awhile back) got a tattoo there and we all have been pleased with the results.SOOOOOOO......My mind has very much changed. The person who pierced my industrial did the bottom piercing too low and the bar CUT INTO MY EAR AND ACTUALLY LEFT A SCAR! I had them take out the bottom piercing (kept the top one and its all healed now). After it was healed, I had them repierce it (different guy did it and he did it for free since theyd messed up the first time). He still did it too low! Though, thankfully, it wasnt cutting into my ear anymore. The bottom piercing wasnt healing well so i went to a more professional tattoo/piercing place (Mainstreet Studios) and they changed out the bar to a better metal, shorter bar (custom fit to my ear), and smaller balls on the end. They said that my ear wasnt wide enough for an industrial and that any good studio shouldve either refused to pierce my ear or custom bent the bar for me to have an industrial. So basically Pain and Pleasure is a place that will give you what you want, even if its not best for you. Oh and my sister who got her eyebrow pierced at Pain and Pleasure is having trouble with her piercing despite cleaning it because they dont use a very high-grade metal for the earrings

Im not from the area but I love the atmosphere here!my friend got her tattoo here! The earring I had in my tragus fell out and my friend told me to come back here. Rob hooked me up with a new earring and I was in and out within five minutes. I will definitely be coming back!!

A few years ago I got a tattoo that I had always wanted.. my friend and I were both walk ins. At first the owner was going to have another guy do mine but changed his mind at the last second.. after he finished hers. When I got done she had me look at hers, lines were wobbly.. sure enough we look at mine the lettering is poor, lines are crooked, and the part of my tattoo that was supposed to be grey is blue. It should be my favorite tattoo.. instead I’m ashamed of it. Hopefully I can get it fixed.. but the grey being blue worries me. I really hope they have fixed things there.**edit**I’m wondering.. have you all changed owners?the work I’m seeing by the current owners looks nothing like what my friend and I received.

I got my nose pierced here and the man allowed for me to walk out knowing the ring did not go all the way through. He told me it was because of the swelling but it wasn’t. Now I have to go somewhere else to have them do it right because instead of him saying they didn’t have the proper ring for my nose he took my money and did it wrong.

I went in Friday, March 8th unexpectedly because Sandusky Tattoo, which is where I usually go because of a friend who works there, was closed. So, I went to Pain and Pleasure because I had never heard anything negative about them but when I came in I was literally shocked by how I was treated. I told the guy what I needed and he kept asking me the same question, “so what do you need” in return and after the third time telling him I simply needed a new septum exactly like the one in my nose he then stopped beating around the bush and said “well ok but what gage are you” I said idk that’s why I’m here I can’t order septum rings online because I don’t know, all I know is that I didn’t want my nose with a huge gage just a normal piercing, and with the biggest attitude he replied “well all piercings have a gage” as he rolled his eyes, and I told him I understood that, I was just simply saying I didn’t want my nose gaged for something huge I just got the normal piercing so whatever size that is? He finally hands me a septum ring and doesn’t ask if I need anything else just starts ringing me up and I was like, well I was actually going to see if I could get assistance putting it in, again he rolls his eyes and tells me to follow him where I begin to feel even more awkward than before because he keeps asking, “what’s wrong with the one you have, it’s perfectly fine”, “why do you need help putting this in”. Clearly he didn’t want to help, what I experienced was beyond rude I almost felt like I was bullied n I couldn’t help my mind from the wondering if it was because I was black? But then I learned I wasn’t the only one when I talked to a friend about her experience and she had the same issue when she didn’t kno what size her gages were for her piercings. I will never step foot in that place again due to the sole fact that I felt so unwelcomed as a person/guest/and customer who was just trying to give my business to that establishment.

I have had 2 out of 3 tattoo done there and the manager was a complete ass to me. Talked to me like I was stupid and cursed at me and his customer relations was completely terrible he didnt care how he talked to me. The art work his employees have is great but they need a new manager.

Went to get a nose piercing with my sister in law. Very clean and professional. I noticed a very young girl there who was going to get her ears pierced. Until then, one thing I was unaware of is that its possible to have your ears pierced at a tattoo/body piercing parlor

I went to get my daiths peirced and the guy who did it was very enlightening with what I should know. The place was very clean and I would recommend to come here. If I ever want another piercing I will gladly come back.

I came here to get a couple piercings put back in. I had taken them out for years and was ready to have them again. Rob got me right in without an appt and had them done within minutes. Very clean and professional studio. Not to mention great customer service.

My most recent of the sunflower and breathe was done this summer, shamrock was done in 2015, foot was done about six years ago, and Tigger was done about 2002....all by Pain and Pleasure! Love that they captured the sentimental value that I appreciate and love! ❤️ No regerts.....🤣😂

Wanted to get my sons name on my arms. When I asked how much it would be the man responded by telling me that it depends on how many letters and the design. It was only four letters and when I asked to see if they had a book with the types of letters available he responded by saying. Nah man its all done by computer. I was then told that he was extremely busy on the computer and if I had a seat someone would be right with me. In the back were three other people all playing on their phones. He asked them which one would wants to help me out an no one answered for two minutes. They then decided to play rock paper scissors to see who would take my money....... And when one lost he was upset that he lost and had to serve me. This place is a joke in my opinion and is extremely unprofessional. They had no one else waiting but yet I had to wait for one of them to work up the initiate to do their job? I wanted four letters but apparently my presence in their tatoo palor was an extreme inconvenience on all of them. Extremely Unprofessional!

I got an industrial piercing and it was done perfectly. She was super accurate with the placement and the shop was really clean. It was a great expirience from the beginning to the end.

Website says open at 11 I called for hour no one picks up . I get if ur busy but to drive by shop and no one in ???? U don’t want business unreal ! I used to go here for all of my tattoo work back when Bobby and Vince were working here. The new artists are not nearly as good.I took in a picture of exactly what I wanted and was told they could not do a small size tattoo

Got spider bites here the piercer was ok helped me through it the ball came out a tattoo artist tried to get it back on but couldnt and the ring came out the piercer had to get it out for me havent and wont go back to get it redone

I called this place to make an appointment and whoever answered the phone was extremely rude and apparently did not want my business so I will be going elsewhere. I will also be telling my friends to go elsewhere.Edit: The response to this comment is so rude and untrue. I requested a second lobe piercing, NOT A LIP tattoo (I would NEVER request that lol). So unprofessional.
