My daughter wanted to get her belly button pierced and this was the second place we went to for an opinion. First the place was super clean and nice smelling. Second the guy who does the body piercing was very straight forward and explained very logically the pros and cons. It was clearly not motivated by making $$ but by the safety and rate of success which was very much appreciated. If I as a woman in her 50’s would decide to pierce her belly button I would definitely use this place since it inspired trust.

One of the girls in the front, short hair, soon as I walked in the two times I’ve been to body jewlz, instantly had attitude and I know people who’ve had the same experience with the same exact person. Not to mention, they charge a lot for once piercing, that ended up getting infected it’s been months since I’ve had it and it only recently got infected so it’s probably on me but it’s the fact that for one it was so damn expensive 😭

I absolutely love this place. Almost all of my piercings have come from here. In addition to my daughters and friends Ive referred. No issues with recovery and the piercers are all friendly in addition to the staff who are really helpful. Its our go-to when we are itching for another.

We had such a great experience here. We came in to get my friend a super spontaneous septum, so of course, we were a little nervous. The staff however was so patient and helpful-- they answered all of our questions so thoroughly. The piercer, Daniel, was so gentle. The piercing wasnt painful at all, and the care instructions were super thorough. Everything was very clean, and we were in and out very quickly. 10/10 experience, no complaints. Thank you, Daniel!

I went in for a jewelry change on my lobe piercings. I brought some hoops from a jewelry store and needed help putting new jewelry in for the first time.The piercer was friendly and help me put in my new hoop earrings. However, when he put the hoops in he commented and said “those are tight”, but I wasn’t sure what that meant. But he put them in and everything seemed fine.For the following weeks, my mostly healed lobe piercings began to bleed again. So, I decided to visit another piercer to see what was wrong.The piercer came in and, right away, told me the post on the hoops was too short and was embedded in my ear.This is something the piercer at BodyJewlz should have seen and informed me of. That would have prevented me from a month of pain!Be careful, as the staff here may not be super detail-oriented.

Walked in to get my helix piercings re-pierced, and service was fast, easy, and friendly! I think about 40 min with the waiting time, but it was easy to pass the wait looking at all the jewelry.The piercer (I forgot her name) was very swift and informative about after care.

Owner is so rude if your not buying anything expensive your not worth his time. Hes unfriendly the woman staff is great Rick there can be rude too. I took my business elsewhere the Owner was crying over 5.00 and wanted to know over and over asking his employees who made the mistake I offered the extra 5.00 so he could stop asking his staff making them uncomfortable.I took my business elsewhere terrible management the Owner and worse you cant understand him with his ancient so makes him sound even rude. Bad business I stop going there after a few visits and purchases over priced for a simple nose ring. But rude owner I took my business elsewhere.

Im not sure why I see bad reviews here. This place has been my go-to for over 4 years whenever I get a random craving to get stabbed. Im always last minute and every time they get me right in and right out. The piercer is phenomenal! Hes professional, easy to talk to, funny, pays close attention to details that most miss, funny and makes me so comfortable every time. Cant give him enough credit even if I tried. Hes amazing 👏The front desk staff are so helpful, cheery, and kind. They know so much and if they cant give you an answer, they either find someone who can, or they will be very upfront that they arent sure.This place will always have my business. And boss person, give your fantastic employees a raise! They deserve it!!

Having had a bad experience myself at a different mall piercing place, I took my 10 yr old to get her ears pierced here. The man doing the piercing was very nice and gentle. Her piercings are actually even and centered on her lobes(unlike mine). My kid said there was barely any pain and her lobes are healing nicely. This is a pricier piercing option but I would totally recommend this place over other, more common, mall piercing places.

Just went and got a few piercings, everyone was super nice and helped me pick put one of my piercings and made the whole process super easy! This is my second time here and theyre great!

I got a earlobe ears pierce. The staffs and the procedure was professional. But the staff at the front desk was kind of overly professional and rigid… felt cold and not that friendly. Piercing can be a bit nervous for people so it’d help if they can just be a tiny more friendlier and down to earth.Going over the care instruction was pretty rushed. The written care sent in email wasn’t clear and missing information such as period of time before switching earrings.Overall it didn’t make me feel assured and comfortable asking them more questions to use up their timeBut I do recommend this place over Claire’s - since piercing gun uses blunt force that is horrible.Here they use piercing needle which has a finer point and more sanitary

I was a little worried because of the reviews that I saw beforehand, but Im really happy with my experience here. The staff made me feel welcome and the environment was fun and relaxed. I havent had any problems with my piercing so far and I was able to ask a lot of questions to get a good understanding of how to take care of it and what to expect.Im editing to add another good experience here, I wish I could make a new review. I got another piercing done about a week ago and noticed that the jewelry seemed to be too tight and sinking into the hole, so I called and asked what I could do. I was able to get new jewelry that fit better and have it changed for free.

Came in for a walk-in appointment with some friends, and was able to get both ears pierced right after doing some basic paperwork. Quick and straightforward, piercer was very friendly and relaxed and the workspace was nice and clean.

Customer service fantastic! All staff were nice and professional and knowledgeable. A place where you feel safe with piercing no doubt! Walk out of the store happy! I would definitely highly recommend this place. I am a mom who brought my 16 year old daughter here I had so many concerns at the beginning before going to this store but these guys rock because as soon as we walk in and talk with the guy for a bit my worries magically disappeared.

The first time I went there I had an amazing experience, the salespeople were amazing and really polite. The second time I went with a friend because I suggested she should go to this store to get her piercings, but unfortunately the woman (I dont know her name, but she had orange short hair) who attends us was SUPER rude and impatient, and also at the end when we arrived home yesterday one of the piercings have defect and we are afraid of coming there today and be the same woman :(

One of the young ladies at the front counter does not know how to control her facial expressions. After 60 seconds of interacting I left. Disappointing because the guy who helped me yesterday was really cool :/

If I can give no star I would! Worst place ever came to put my piercing back in my ear and they couldn’t help me because the guy was going in lunch even though there were more then 4 people at the shop!!! Definitely lost a customer and lost some good money!! Never come here again worse customer service as well

Ive gotten all my piercings here without complication. Theyre friendly and precise with all their piercings!! Good prices comparatively too. Wait time can get long but Id rather wait for a good piercing than have them speed through them

Idk why i came to see so many bad reviews from people either making false assumptions because of the lack of research before but i love this place! i’ve gotten 4 piercings done here and the piercer daniel is probably one of the best ever! he’s kind and the whole staff there is helpful and kind! i really do love coming here and although it makes sense to feel nervous or cautious of going to these kind of places i promise you, it’s worth it.

Went there 2 times in a day. They werent very informing to what were the requirements to get pierced. I brought in 2 forms of identification and my mom with me and I didnt know they required a birth certificate if our last names didnt match. The lady there was also a cold. Not a very pleasant experience.

Yesterday I went in to try to buy a piercing and didn’t know the size but knew the cashier in place would know . So I politely asked her she quickly handed me the first pair of piercings. I then returned told her she had made a mistake she said YEA I did but I can’t refund you . Now when I asked to speak to her manger she smirked and said I am the manager. When I asked do her name she refused to tell me for about 10 mins . Her name is Emily and all she does is try to get paid to be on her phone . If by any chance she is the manager she has horrible customer service and should NOT be running that place her way of acting is out of line .

I called them to have one of my cheeks pierced again and they said they did do cheeks. When I get there this lady at the counter with a septum piercing and long pony tail today at around 5pm was rude to me for some reason. It looked like she just didnt liked me in general from the looks of it. Pretty unprofessional. Wasted my time going through traffic just to get declined, made sure the piercing was available before coming and and didnt bother to let me talk at all when I arrived.

Unprofessional. Went here to buy a titanium nose ring, which they had a good price for ($20). Also paid the $5 charge to have a piercer change my stud out and put the ring in. The whole experience was very rushed. The piercing was bleeding when the hoop was in place and I noticed as I was getting up to walk away and had to ask the piercer to wipe the blood away. Didnt seem very experienced, now my nose is very sore. Would have rather paid more for jewelry to have better service. Staff doesnt seem to care much about anything but getting you out as quick as possible. The two guys at the front were having a conversation the whole time I was looking at jewelry so I was very unmotivated to ask them questions about pricing, material, etc. Will have to seek help with piercing elsewhere.

The people know what they’re doing. The people at the counter are super helpful and Danny is so sweet and is excellent at what he does.

After many years of wanting a nose piercing I finally got one at this place. The price was a bit steep, $54. The venue nice and clean. Service was lackluster. They sold me an upgrade to a bar +$15, so I did. What I didn’t realize is that they sold me a gage that was too short/small for my nostril. The piercing was quick and they don’t provide any paperwork on self care. The piercer, Chris, was short with words and even shorter after the piercing was done. Sadly, as a “professional” he never examined my nose or the jewel I bought to see if its a good length. They basically will pierce whoever comes through. The first week was painful! With a short bar the pierce was SINKING into the hole. I kept having to push the jewel up numerous times a day. After the swelling went down nothing changed. The pierce looked as if I had an extra large pore on my nose that was a jewel. Totally self conscious about it for two weeks I finally got it looked at by another piercer at Players, Inc. Sure enough I was right! The bar was sinking in my nose which could of caused infection and growth! I lucked out by not getting neither! I replaced it with a proper length “L” shape jewel and what a difference it makes. Relief of pain and uncomfortable pressure! I would not recommend anyone to come to this place nor will I come back. They got my $ and thats it. Never again. ✌🏽

Took my teenage neice to get her nose pierced here and my daughter decided to get a cartilage piercing. The piercer, whose name I did not get, is amazing. Hes precise, quick, and super friendly. We live in Sacramento but will make the drive to only get our piercings here.

They were all really sweet and I appreciated that I was denied the industrial because I didnt have the anatomy for it. They care! I got my left rook done here and it went super smoothly. I plan to come back for a tongue piercing!!

My daughter, on a whim, decided to pierce her ears when she passed by this shop. I spoke to an employee who showed me options and pricing. She asked the age of my daughter and we told her she was 5. I told the employee that I wanted to make sure she understood what she was choosing to do and we would be back if she confirmed she still wanted to do it. After some time, my daughter said she was ready so we walked back. I was approached by a different guy who asked what we needed but already seemed like he knew exactly why we were there. I said we decided to go through with the ear piercing and he asked her age. He told us that they wont do children under 6., Ok thats fine, but perhaps tell me that information the first time we were there. It wasted our time and it was disappointing for my daughter who had mentally prepped herself for the experience. Would not recommend since they dont know how to communicate and just be upfront from the start. Spend the $95 (titanium setting) it costs there to do it, elsewhere.

The people that work there absolutely awesome! Daniel will make you feel show me comfortable and its super easy to chat with you can pretty much say what you want to say in front of him and he just goes with the flow! I wish Ill tattoo and piercing places would have some device Daniel it would make it a whole lot more refreshing!

I got my nose piercing done 3 months ago and I loved it. The guy was friendly and gave me well informed information on how to clean my piercing & when Im allowed to change it. Also, I love how the place is well sanitized. Im going in today to get my Tragus pierced because thats the only place I trust.

Don’t go here… I got a nose ring here and later learned they should have never let me get a nose ring first. I should’ve gotten a stud first. Because of this I now have a bump(keloid) by my piercing that won’t go away and is so ugly. Plus when I call for help they are extremely unhelpful. They told me to go back and get a stud put in but they won’t pay for that…. Plus when I first got the ring the guy must have picked the most expensive option there was and I was totally up charged. All over horrible…

Everyone is super friendly and welcoming they love all clients that comes in like I would recommend this place and it was my first time inside of body jewls and it was amazing I had the septum piercing

Got my ears pierced for the first time and it was absolutely great. Didnt cost a lot plus it was so quick. I would definitely come here again for other piercings and such.

Highly recommended!I few months ago I came here to get some cartilage piercings, my very first! The piercing is done in a very professional room, very clean with all the medical equipment and sterilization necessary. When I got the piercings the employee used all one-use, packaged, sterile tools, he showed me where my piercings would be done to get the ok and he used needles (if you wanna get cartilage piercings, no guns ever!). The process was super quick, and you can buy the saline solution spray in-store if you wanna carry it around like I did.

Man!! went to get piercings on my chest and the man with the black tattooed eyes said he was “lining up” my piercings while grabbing my chest for WAY too long. piercings came out crooked anyways it was so unprofessional and creepy. when i got my cartilage piercings there they didnt give me studs that were long enough for the swelling. so this place is just not good.

Cartilage piercing! Piercing part was ok. I had to pay $70 because they were out of the cheaper jewelry. Piercer didn’t give much after care information. I clean it with sea salt and warm water. And 4 months later I have a big keloid on the back of my piercing. I went to Pierced Out on Union and Foxworthy for them to tell me that the stud I got put in for my ear should have been longer for swelling room. So I had to pay another $55 to get the new jewelry and for them to put it in. ALMOST $120 ON A PIERCING. Overall this place isn’t bad but it could be 10000% better then it is :).

I got my thirds (ear lobe piercing)! I was really nervous but the staff was welcoming and nice. Also the process was SUPER quick & efficient.

They are over priced guy told me two completely different prices when I asked for the price twice, Girl with red hair was Extremely rude. I was scratching my nose and she immedietly told me to put on my mask. As i was leaving i said have a good night and she completely ignored me

Bought some jewelry about a week ago, gauges were nice and so was my lip studs. But when it came to my septum jewelry, as soon as I put it in I smelled iron. And I thought maybe my nose was bleeding but a few days passed by and I kept smelling it. I thought I irritated it some how, but finally when I took the jewelry out I saw that it was completely rusted... it looked like it was rusted before and they just painting over it :/

Dont come here for anything that requires some skills to pierce !! They pierce without proper technique causing the jewelry to hit my gums. After calling to complain, they said they can not do anything for me because I dont live near by. No apologizes, no remorse, even after acknowledging they have horrible Google and Yelp reviews!! They do not care about their customers and acted very arrogant. Even hanging me up the first time. They cant not stay in business.

I went there for a cartilage piercing, the piercer was very quick and was very nice, and wasnt rough. I loved getting the piercing done. Of course, no one told me that the bumps you get were normal, so i didnt do anything about them, i thought they were just normal swelling. I had to go back because the barbell they gave me wasnt long enough since i have thick cartilage, i also complained since my ear had started to try and grow over the ring; the swelling was too much for the barbell to keep up with (again, meaning it was too small for me). i told them that they were the ones who pierced me. i didnt get a sorry, a discount, nothing. Also, when the guy was changing the barbell he said to get tea tree oil, but he didnt exactly explain why (i had to look that up myself on google). may not go back.

Very clean and professional establishment. The needles and the studs are in a sterile pack, with needles disposed of after use. For nose, the use L rings, so it can release stress on the nose. The staff is instructive for care procedures and always checking in with the guest. Such a great experience!

Got a piercing change on my nostril, i was fairly nervous about it and the employee who changed my piercing was incredibly rude which did not help at all. she ignored me despite my many attempts to talk to her.

I received a beautiful thigh piece from Nico. The place is clean and the artists are very kind and professional. Im so happy with the results! Ive been to other tattoo shops and this one is the best!

First and LAST time coming here. I wanted to get my nose pierced and as I am a minor, I brought my legal guardian. They didnt want to do the piercing because they didnt believe this person was my legal guardian and said i needed a real parent, mom or dad not a stepparent/guardian because thats the law. Ive gotten many piercings before and have never had any problem like this.

I bought bvla nose rings not one but four. Each cost above $200. My biggest problem with this store is that I will never ever return because I got the nose rings checked out because they all have multiple small diamonds and they were all fake diamonds on each and every nose ring. Do not shop in there bvla collection!

Piercer was nice, he worked fast and also pierced my navel pretty crookedly. It wasnt very noticable until it started healing more towards the 4 month mark. Im going to have to get it repierced :(

NEVER GO HERE!!! got a tattoo (small name) called 3 weeks after getting it to get a touch up was told it’s free touch up one time then he said “give me whatever for setting up” so i said ok can i come in tomorrow morning he said yes i show up at my apt time and he tells me it’s HALF the payment for the minimum meaning it will he $40 to touch up ONE letter are u kidding me ??? scam! What a joke this place is NEVER RECOMMEND GOING THERE EVER!

I purchased a nose ring from this place and within a few weeks it turned my nose green🥴Thankfully I was not healing from being pierced because this could have gone so wrong. Starter jewelry should not turn green!!!!

Really bad experience is garbage they treat people like garbage dont even go to that store.. I got pierced then it fell off like an a minute. I went back then they tried to charge me another $43 which is not fair

Do not get a tatoo there. The person who does them is not professional. I got some tattoos there that I am now noticing were not done right. The person doing tattoos has a swastica on his left forearm as well. Would not reccomend it.

Dont botherI was hesitant to go because I typically go to a much more professional shop, (Vaughn Body Arts in Monterey, CA) and I was right. They dont know what the hell theyre going. Dont trust them

Had a good experience overall. IMO the piercer was professional and took the time with a caliper to make sure the ear piercing s were even.

I had my nose pierced here. It was quickly done and the piercer was so professional. Going back for some more...personal piercings soon!
