Vampire Battle Mansion Tattoo and Piercing

VBM and the whole staff provided such an amazing experience for me and my partner. We are new to the West Coast and I was nervous about finding a new artist here. Zoe was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I told them the general gist of what I wanted but gave them complete and total creative freedom to design something. I was blown away but the design! It even glows under UV light. Zoe also was able to fix 3 smaller tattoos that I got last year and hated. My partner has darker complexion and always wanted color. Zoe assured her that it is totally possibly. The vibe in the shop is so welcoming and not intimidating at all like some shops are. Very queer friendly and just a fun place to even hang out. We will 100000% be back and couldn’t be happier.

Amazing place. Got my first tattoo here and Annie did an amazing job. Lots of communication leading up to the appointment, and she made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. She had multiple sketches for multiple different sizes when I got there. She was a great conversationalist as well during the actual process. Took around 2 hours.

Got my nose pierced here today and it was great! my piercer (did not catch their name), was super friendly and walked me through the before and after piercing process. the pain was super minimal and they were super gentle with me! will be back for future piercings!!

I got my first tattoo here today and manny did such an amazing job the line work and details are so beautiful. Me and my mom are here on vacation and decided last minute we wanted tattoos to commemorate and they were so awesome in taking us in an hour before close with little to no notice. The shop is clean and reasonably priced with excellent staff. Thank you so much for your amazing work!

Amazing place! The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming, and all of the artists were so sweet. I had Johanna and they were super encouraging and funny the whole time. I’ll be planning my next tattoo here again! Also the UV ink is super cool!

I’ve exclusively gotten all my piercings here and two tattoos—they have multiple themed flash sales a year with unique designs and their piercers have expert hands they barely make anything sting, they’ve got a smaller selection of piercing jewelery but what they do have is quality full gold pieces and unique designs I’ve never seen anywhere else. 100% recommend them for tattoos and piercings!

The staff here are so friendly, everytime I come for a tattoo they give me snacks and let me choose what movie or tv show I want to watch.They carefully review the design with me before starting the tattoo to make sure I am happy with its placement, and dont rush me at all.My first tattoo was from Lindstromtattoo and she did my mushrooms so quickly and painlessly and it turned out so cute!!Most recently I got a construction chick done by zoebowietattoos with UV ink and it shines so brightly under black light!

I was tattooed by Ivy and it was a great experience!Ivy had no issue with me changing the placement from our initial booking. They were extremely courteous and checked in with me frequently. They were also really nice and informative when they were showing the apprentice some techniques.The shop had water and snacks available for customers.I wish I lived closer so I could come back more frequently.

Went in for a 2nd earlobe piercing. Staff members were very nice and answered all of my questions. The person who pierced my ears, Nick, was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

Manny (@withered_raccoon) is incredible. Both as an artist and as a host. He made sure the tattoo was exactly what I wanted and checked in the whole way. The entire shop was welcoming and genuine. Would absolutely return for another tattoo and would recommend it to first timers and experienced folks looking for a tattoo or piercing.

Annie is a gentle, detail oriented and overall great tattoo artist. I had a full sleeve done which was my first ever tattoo. I am not an artistic person but knew what direction I wanted to move towards. She was communicative and impressive at every step. I am incredibly happy with her work. Overall Vampire Battle Masion has a very friendly atmosphere and staff. I appreciate everyone who assisted me through the process.

Went there with my mom to get a helix piercing. Service was great and super clean. Nick was super professional and made us feel comfortable.

Amazing group of artist that make you feel like home. A huge variety of styles from different artist. All extremely talented. They also have a few apprentices that go above and beyond and have amazing talent.I have gotten tattoos from 3 of their artists so far for a total of 16 tattoos. Going back to their old location on tully. They always have snacks and water and always check in and make sure you are comfortable. Its the only shop i go to and you should too.

Vampire Battle Mansion is one of the BEST tattoo places in the Bay! Everyone is so nice from Enoc to my artist, Johanna. This is my third trip back, and I always love going. Clean, talented artists, and fair prices.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and how friendly the staff were. They also provided snacks and a comfortable seating area.My issue is that my tongue was pierced crooked. I had gone to a different piercer for my septum and they told me that it was do to my anatomy, but if I was informed this at the time I couldve gotten a different piercing. Disappointed I had to go through the whole healing process and pay $100+ on a piercing that was crooked the whole time.

Took my kid for earlobe piercing last weekend. Louie was very professional and patient. Explained everything and took his time with each step including earstud recommendations. He measured and confirmed the site and was very cooperative when I asked him to make a change. It was very clean and hygienic. But the best part was how he made sure my child was comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to get kids ears pierced. Just a heads up, they use a needle not a piercing gun.

I went on a tuesday morning, just decided to stop in and see if it was possible to get a walk in piercing. Nic was there and willing to do the piercing with lots of feedback and communication on what would be a manageable, unique and easy to heal placement! Very practical and lots of great input about the work. I really appreciate a professional sharing their knowledge! I cant wait to go back here for the rest of my piercings by Nic! Im recommending to all my friends too as this was the best piercing experience Ive had!

Johanna is absolutely amazing. I have a few tattoos but this is my most detailed piece and Johanna went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly how I wanted and continuously checked in with me to make sure I was okay. They were very encouraging and super fun to talk to! Hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. I’ll be back soon and recommending this place to my friends. I came here with my daughter after a visit to the Santa Clara Farmer’s Market. I had been meaning to get another earlobe piercing so that I could wear some new music-themed earrings I received, and I had not gotten around to it. I was a little nervous and it took a few minutes for me to work up the nerve to go in. I’m glad I did. This place was fun and the people were very friendly and helpful, and made me feel at ease. My last piercing was done when I was 11 at a shopping mall, and this was a much better experience. It was really only a little pinch and it didn’t hurt at all afterwards. I enjoyed looking at the fun decor while my daughter was getting hers done. The store is clean and professional. Would definitely recommend!

Great welcoming inclusive environment. Got a tattoo by Zoe this past weekend, and it was an all around great process from the initial messages through the actual tattooing and aftercare instructions. I can definitely see myself coming back here for more ink in the future.

This is THE place. Incredibly gifted artists, and the coolest atmosphere you can find. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, I’ve never felt so safe and relaxed in a tattoo shop before.Zoe was my artist and wow was she just amazing! She explained her steps throughout the process, frequently checked in to make sure I was doing ok, and was thorough with the after care instructions. I will be recommending Zoe and Vampire Battle Mansion in general to anyone looking for tattoos and piercings. I can’t wait to be back!

Got my very first tattoo after hearing good things about the place. Everybody will recommend Enoc, but I got my tattoo done by Annie and her work is excellent!I submitted a custom design that had a lot of small details, and she cleaned it up to make it more suitable for a tattoo, something which she took the time to review with me. She stayed true to the design and style, and I never felt that it was out of my control. It was a small thin lined design, so the adjustments were just to make sure it would last longer.She made sure I had food and water beforehand, and that there was no rushing through the work. She was very friendly and professional. Following their instructions, the tattoo healed up very well.I dont know much about average prices compared to other places, but I know I got my moneys worth.I would absolutely recommend this place to others. Annies line work is spot on, and Ive gotten plenty of compliments from others with tattoos that can vouch for that.

The only people I trust to do piercing on my kids. Very kind, welcoming. The entire place has an amazing vibe. Very clean and they explain the entire process and healing expectations.

Had been wanting to get my ears pierced for a while now and how can the name Vampire Battle Mansion not get my attention. It had great reviews and it definitely lives up to it. Very clean, with awesome decore, and a friendly and welcoming environment.I had my 2nd lobe piercings done by the wonderful Louie. Hes super friendly and definitely knows his stuff; I even learned my right ear hangs a little lower than my left while he was assesing the placement of my piercings! He also gave me options in regards to my (future) 3rd piercings. The actually piercing was just a little pinch and done!Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and I will hopefully see you in 2 months time for my 3rds(:

I’m leaving my first ever review for a shop in the parking lot cause I don’t want to ever forget these amazing people. The acceptance and vibe in this shop is unlike any other I have been to. If I were local they’d see me more often than my bank account would find healthy. Ivy is FANTASTIC. Their flash designs are so unique and fun and I was so excited to take advantage of a last minute opening. Everyone at the shop is kind and I wish the world was more like VBM. Thank you Ivy for a wonderful tattoo and a wonderful time in general. This place whips. (but how could a place called the Vampire Battle Mansion disappoint ever)got my nose pierced here and it was super quick and clean! I actually totally missed their name but if youre looking for a tat or piercing this place is immaculate. piercer knew their stuff and was so friendly, totally stress free.

One of the best spots in the Bay Area for amazing art and people. The shop has a welcoming vibe & Johanna always takes care of me. I get so many compliments on my Squirtle & the work speaks for itself.

Enoc and staff are great! I got my first tattoo Monday and it was an awesome experience. Enoc made me feel comfortable and the tattoo came out perfect, would definitely recommend this shop for anyone getting a first tattoo or any tattoo really.

The piercer here is personable, and does his work efficiently. He is really skilled in assessing your anatomy and then further helping you decide what piercing will be best for you. This fellas a keeper!

What a gem, and Im really glad this shop is so close by - I was finally able to get a pretty significant project Ive been wanting for years!Johanna is AWESOME - kind, easy to get along with, respectful and a great host. I really enjoyed the 15 hours / 5 sessions total I spent in there and after the first session she never needed a reminder of what we were doing or why. Huge recommend if you want some sick weeb art on you!As for the shop, its clean, fun, and friendly. You can tell that everybody in there really cares about the clients comfort and is excited to be there. Lots of snacks for mid-session sugar and carb hits, and lots of check-ins to make sure youre feeling okay during the session.Thanks VBM folks for the sick art and good times! See you for the next one!Edit: Since this review Ive been back a bunch more times, for two more tattoos and a couple of piercings too. The whole staff is great - coming here is always so much fun! I went about two months ago.Everyone is very friendlyThe guy who did my piercing was very careful 🫶🏽 and the girl at the reception thank you so much for helping me since I dont speak English and she helped me communicate…Ill be back soon for more piercing 🙌🏾

One question, they speak Spanish there, theres not much to it and I still dont understand English, Im waiting for an answer, thank you!
