Scottsboro Ink Therapy Tattoo Studio

To start we been coming since June 2023 and have gotten 9 all together. They were all great until my son got one in February. It took a few try’s to get it even and the artist ( who is no longer there) had trouble getting it to take color. His leg became infected. Seth checked on him several times during his healing process. Today he repaired I guess you would say, his tattoo and did him good on another one. We drive from Tn and will continue to drive from there. I have never even heard of a shop caring so much about their clients. Today, I got a tattoo I been wanting to get for a long time. David did excellent. Great work. The whole shop is polite, professional and seem like such good down to earth people. I have been to many shops in my life and have always felt like the artist or employees were either annoyed with me being there and them having to do a tattoo or just had this better than you attitude. This is by far the friendliest shop I have ever been too. Like I said 2 hours and this is definitely worth the trip. We love it here.

My artist was David Lara, first thing first, this man is really passionate with what he does. I loved how he explained everything, what he was doing step by step and why. Took his time with his work. It’s a relaxed environment. My tattoo took about 7 hours. He’s definitely somebody that I woould recommend! And not to mention I’ve been through several different artist and I have finally found my go to guy for all future tattoos. Thank you Scottsboro Ink!

If you are looking for a tattoo artist go see David at Scottsboro Ink Therapy. He does amazing work. He takes his time to explain what he is doing every time he gets ready to do the next step on a tattoo. And before he starts the tattoo process he makes sure the stencil is the size and location you want. The atmosphere at the shop is great and the everyone is friendly.

Cannot say enough Good things about Scottsboro Ink Therapy. There is not a bad thing to say about this Tattoo parlor or about our tattoo artist Seth. We drove over 3 hours to get my son’s first tattoo. When we first arrived Teresa and Alana greeted us as if we had been friends for years instead of just meeting today. My children were welcome in the shop and I didnt have to worry if I was going to have to keep them outside. I love that they are a family oriented Christian tattoo parlor. Seth was awesome when we showed him a design and he helped us make it better. He was fast but he did not rush the tattoo and when it got late and the tattoo ended up taking longer than what we all originally thought, Seth didn’t take any short cuts or try and cut out any of the detail, he just kept tattooing the same as when he started. He is an amazing artist and the piece that he did was above and beyond our expectations. His daughter Alana is an amazing artist herself and I loved that she was willing to show us her art work. We met one of the other artists that is in that shop while we were there and she and her husband treated us as friends as well. We will definitely be traveling 3 hours again anytime we are ready for another Tattoo. If you are looking for a wonderful tattoo artist and tattoo parlor that will treat you like a friend you have known forever then you definitely have to pick Scottsboro Ink Therapy. And should anyone ever post a bad review I would call them liars because Seth Burt his Wife Teresa and their daughter Alana are wonderful , amazing, people, their tattoo parlor is awesome and I and my family will be back every time we are ready for a new tattoo, (regardless if we have to travel over 3 hours to go there).

David was my tattoo artist I gave him ideas of what I wanted and he ran with it. My tattoo turned out amazing it is by far my most favorite one that I have. The office was very clean and everything was kept clean and sanitary throughout the whole process. The atmosphere of the shop was so amazing very professional but also so calming. I had an absolute ball while I was there. I would recommend David for any and all tattoos.

I have had tattoos done by Seth and Will, one of my daughters had her 1st tattoo done by Will and my other daughter had her 1st tattoo done by Shawdai. They all do AMAZING work and did such a great job making both my daughters feel comfortable during their 1st tattoo experience!! The shop has such a great family environment, everyone is so friendly, and the shop is so clean! Seth definitely has great artists in the shop. I would not hesitate to recommend any of their artists to anyone! Larry Brown did a great job piercing my nostril. He got me in at the literal last minute and did a fantastic job, despite having to fix a mistake from another piercer. Everyone I saw in the shop was super friendly and made me feel comfortable!

My Boyfriend and I had an amazing experience here. From the time we walked in the doors and out, everyone was so friendly and professional! Our tattoos look amazing and we will both be going to this shop permanently. I came in needing a cover up done and Roy did a wonderful job at not only covering up my horrible tattoo (a very dark tattoo that I got years ago) but explaining the process the entire way! Very impressed by Roy’s works and love what he has done for me! Daniel was the artist for my boyfriend and created an amazing fore arm sleeve that left us both very very impressed. It’s to bad we got ours done during sweater weather because I’m so beyond excited to show my piece off.

They are a clean, family friendly shop that genuinely cares about their guests. Roy has done all of my work on my half sleeve and has helped so much along the way with placement. Scottsboro Ink Therapy is extremely professional and respectful to their clients. I had a tattoo done with Leroy back in October of a dream catcher with floral arrangement outlining the edges and I was extremely impressed. The staff are all friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The shop is clean and very inviting...a sofa is provided for customers to sit comfortably on while they wait for their appointment, large flat screen tv to keep you occupied during your wait, snacks and refreshments are available for purchase, and a public restroom is available as well. Music is played in the background to allow the customers to relax during your session. All needles used are brand new and opened in front of you. High quality inks are used so you can guarantee your tattoo will last and look as good as new for years to come. Touchups are available if anything is needed touched up after the healing process is completed on your tattoo which I loved! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. The art there is amazing. Just about any tattoo you could want can be done there.

Its a great place to go. Very careful with placement of the tattoo and how great of a job they do. For example I had an idea of getting a tattoo right where my wrist started. I then talked to the artist Roy Dayhoff and the man that owns the place Seth Burt. They advised I get it a little higher bc where I wanted it eventually it would have been creased and crinkled. Im glad I went there instead if somewhere that wouldve just let me get it there and the tattoo be ruined by now. They are very kind and genuine. Go check them out!!!

Was a very friendly place and friendly people. The only reason I didnt hit the on time was for the fact I just pretty much called and asked if I could just come over and they said yes so thats what I did. I just had body jewerly changed out but it was my daith piercing. I also asked for a quote to finish up another tattoo I have and I will be setting up a date to have it do e.
