Five Star Henna

Loved coming in here! So homie and welcoming!! Got our henna done so quickly and there were so many choices to pick from. Jenna is well priced. Also I got done feathers and LOVE them.

Sad to leave this review. Paid $30 for a Henna that unfortunately did not even last a week. The owner was very friendly and had a quick service. I would like to state her method of removing excess glitter was to blow it off by her mouth (not sanitary). I took all the precautions the owner stated, left it on for 2 hours and used Vaseline. I’ve had multiple hennas in the past that have lasted 2 weeks or longer. I would not recommend getting a henna here.

The henna place is in her house but it is completely separated from it.The henna artist is so nice and so talented. She will do whatever you want. The henna tattoos are so amazing and clean. They are exactly like the pictures. Sometimes, she might add more stuff as well.

The service was great. She was very nice and Sierra was very cute too. The henna turned out so pretty!

Not just henna tattoos (which are so cool!), they also do hair feathers, kids face painting, and other cool stuff! Have some stuff for sale in the store too, like 3-D tapestries and incense. The whole place is decorated and painted inside, worth the stop!

I love this henna shop and have been going here for years! Very good customer service! Sometimes if you can find a photo online they will do it for you and price it out for you. All hennas end up coming out very nicely! You can even add glitter! Lovely environment for kids or adults! The hennas can last up to 2 weeks depending on how well you take care of them. I will definitely be coming back!Update: I absolutely love coming here still! Just make sure you have Cash, Venmo or PayPal as those are the only payments that are accepted! Unfortunately, my henna is already starting to fade after 3 days even with aftercare. It was nice for a few days though :)

We walked in 20 min before closing, nobody greeted us when we walked in although there were two employees behind the counter . After looking at the henna tattoos for 5 minutes we walk up to counter and the lady who works there said it was to late to late to get services cause they were closing. I said I wish you would’ve said that when we first walked in and she was very condescending and rude. Told us if we didn’t like it we couldLeave and waved at us with a smirk on her face smh I’m appalled . Maybe it’s cause we weren’t white like the people who were getting service instead of being disrespected and not acknowledging us. I will never step foot in this trashy place of business. Disgusting

Went in today to see what type of henna design they had, drawings were very basic. And over priced. Henna does not stain on the skin at all. The henna artist super sweet, but $30 later sadly it is not the best quality of work and henna.

It was an amazing environment and everyone was so nice and the henna was beautiful and I loved it we did everything we we’re supposed we waited till it came off but it faded after 3 days by a lot.

The ladies where nice and the henna applied was very well done but once it came off you could barely see it. I expected it to be way darker and show up more after the initial product flaked off. So for a beautiful design that lasted for maybe two hours 25.00 to 45.00 was way to much.

Good prices and beautiful art work, they even add little touches like glitter.

I paid with my bank card while on vacation and it is just now hitting my account 10 days after we were there. I live pay check to pay check and my vacation wiped my account until next month. This is not acceptable and has really screwed me over. I took my daughter there for henna and we kinda splurged because my daughter never asks me for anything but really wanted to get henna. Them not running my payment same day has left me overdrafted. We will not return and I recommend if you shop here use cash.

The place is very beautiful and relaxing. She has tapestry for sale along with other items such as incense and above all, her beautiful henna art. Depending on the size and the level of detail is the price. Both mine and my boyfriends were $25 each and it was well worth it. The owner is such a nice lady and will let you know how to care for your henna and even sparkle some color on it! She is right to name her place Five Star Henna, because that is what you get.

After finding no henna artists in Cannon Beach, called this shop to make sure they were available. They were polite and confirmed. They added brief directions that were very helpful. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome, good prices ($10-40 each), and great and quick service. The place is themed, easy going and offer airbrush tattoos and more. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I came to the beach for a girls weekend. I emailed to get an appointment, twice. No response. I called and left a voice message. No call back. Their Facebook and the Google info said they would be open at 11 AM. 11:10 AM on a Saturday we showed up at their door. A sign hung on the door said winter hours 1 pm to 3 pm. Considering we had our day totally planned and could not hang around to wait 2 hours we left. My daughter was totally disappointed. These business owners are not very responsible! Its sad because their reviews say they do great work. My daughter got online and edited their Google info with their new hours. She didnt want someone else to experience the same frustration she did.

The staff were very nice and so was the environment but when I showed the lady a picture of the henna i wanted she asked if it was fine if she took some “creative liberty with it” I said yes assuming it would look similar, but I was wrong. Apparently creative liberty really means “I can’t do this care if I try my way and still mess it up?” Sad part is that it was a jellyfish and a rather simple one at that, yet I now have an incoherent blob stuck on my arm for the next two weeks.

Love this shop. We visit everytime we are in town. It has become a family tradition going there for our family. Hope to see them again. Staff is always friendly and easy to work with

I will not recommend this place ENOUGH! The people are friendly, the designs are varied, and the prices are reasonable thanks for being AWESOME!
