I am a local who had no previous experience with this shop. I walked in to check them out, with a basic idea of what I wanted. Bear was behind the counter, he was kind, professional & helpful in every way. He helped me with some design ideas, and after a few tries & some great communication, we came up with the perfect one together. Hes a very experienced and talented tattoo artist, and I look forward to getting some ink from him again.

We were vacationing from Idaho and saw the shop. I read all the reviews online and decided to walk in. Because of a cancellation I was able to get a tattoo on my wrist and on the back of my neck. Im sure astrological signs are probably boring to an artist but Travis was amazing! I am so happy I got in. The price was very reasonable. The atmosphere is awesome and their taste in music is outstanding! ;) Thank you Travis and Bear!

Hello my name is Shanice Hunt and I was raised here at the Oregon coast and I started being interested I have tattoos when I was in high school when I was 18yrs old because they have a different meaning and stories and that they will never go away because it’s permanent ink and the one who did amazing job on my tattoos his name is Travis and he owns a tattoo shop called Lucky dog in Seaside The one on my leg I got from Astoria OR But the other three I got from lucky dog!!!

The tattoos we got where perfect. I know they were simple but it was the best. Bear was a great artist as well as a good guy to talk to. I definitely recommend this is place if you want a nice tattoo at a great price.

Lucky Dog was fantastic. I treated my adult kids to tattoos. The shop was professional, clean, and a fun environment. Travis was patient, had vast experience, and had some great suggestions. Travis did my tattoo he was amazing! I love it it’s perfect, exactly what I imagined. I asked for a last minute change, and he was so great about doing it. It means a lot to me how well he did and how nice he was. It’s a memorial tattoo for my sister.I’m just happy with how perfect it is in my mind .

The guys at Lucky Dog are the best! I went in one day in an effort to commemorate my dad in a tattoo because we were nearby scattering his ashes. The moment I walked in they were attentive, respectful, and just overall awesome human beings. I will be going back for touch ups and to add to my tat whenever I am back up there. Bear made a beautiful piece for me from a photo I had taken during my stay at Haystack Rock. It looks like a painting. He is truly the Bob Ross of tattoos. ☺️ You guys made a lasting impression and gave me the best experience I have ever had in a shop. Thank you so much and I’ll see you when I’m back in town!

Got my first tattoo here and I love it. Travis is an awesome guy and is Hilarious. Definitely would recommend him and I will probably go back for my next tattoo.

My best friends and I went in here on our girls weekend trip. Before we came here we went to the other two places in town just because they were right next to us. They were rude, short, and just bad customer service. When we walked into the lucky dog it was the exact opposite. Travis was amazing. I had the best luck while I was visiting in Oregon. My boyfriend and I wanted to get tattoos so we came across the only shop open where we met Bear. Most genuine man I will ever have met, turned a simple doodle into a beautiful one of a kind design that took him under 20 mins to come up with. Beautiful mind! Most tattoo artist get you in and get you out, but this man connects with you and genuinely wants to bring peoples art to life. Would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to get a tattoo, and will definitely be willing to drive 5 hours just to get my future tattoos from him. Thank you Bear!!! My husband and I came in to get matching tattoos for our 10 year wedding anniversary while we were here. Bear was absolutely amazing and drew up an anchor that was perfect for us. He was patient and funny and i cannot recommend him enough!!

My wife and I decided to get our ring fingers tattooed for our one year anniversary. The two guys who work in this shop were friendly, kind and great to work with. Bear did our tattoos, he helped us settle on a beautiful design and did great work. Very quick and as painless as possible (considering that it was partially on my knuckle!).

Went in here on a whim, and was honored to meet Bear (who happened to be from up near where we live). Such a beautiful soul, and a great, friendly artist. My hubby is going in tomorrow but I suspect we will be back for other tats in the future. Highly recommend!!!

I had a tattoo of 2 small pink birds on my wrist and have regretted the tattoo ever since, it was a spur of the moment tattoo done in Seattle without enough research done. I needed this to be covered up and to actually look like birds. People would ask if I had a wound on my wrist because it DID NOT look like birds, or anything for that matter. Bear was so friendly and encouraging, I felt at ease. I went to meet him the next day and he was able to draw on my wrist, no stencil, just free hand. I was out of there in 30 min. Made an appointment drove 200 miles to get a tattoo with a family member got there and they didnt write in our appointment, got us in and rushed thru our tattoos and it was a very crappy job! You cant even see the colors , I have other tattoos from other places and they are awesome.

My wife Rosanna and I were on our honeymoon and wanted to get her FIRST tattoo and no other place was open...I called and Bear answered and said come on in and he would take care of us ...we were NOT disappointed!...this guy spent over half the day with us drawing out EXACTLY what she wanted for her first tattoo and EXACTLY what I wanted for mine....of course we wanted tattoos to remember our honeymoon...so we got our names on each other in the infinity symbol design....they came out PERFECT!!...and at a price that was more than fair!...if youre looking for GREAT tattoos at a GREAT price...go to LUCKY DOG!!...Thank you BEAR for taking care of my wife and I!

This shops is AMAZING at doing very high detailed tattoos. I drive 2 hours just to go see them every time I need a new one or touch up. The prices are excellent as well.
