Moonstone Tattoo and Piercing Parlor

I took my daughter to get her ears pierced here and it was an absolutely amazing experience! They explained the whole process to her in a kid friendly way, including piercing a stuffed animals ears so she could see how it was done, and asked for consent at every step of the process, making sure that she was ready and willing the whole time. When they didn’t actual piercing they did both ears at once and were so quick and smooth she didn’t cry at all! The whole not downside to the process is that you have to have a notarized consent form and a birth certificate for a minor ear piercing, which is a Kentucky policy, but isn’t common knowledge, so it’s some extra steps to complete before the piercing can be done. But I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a kids ears pierced!

This shop is wonderful. The space itself is beautiful and inviting and SO clean. I had 2 piercings done here today and Nikole and Kendall were amazing. I was nervous and Nikole did such a great job at making me comfortable and making sure I had a great experience. Shes very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. 10/10 recommended!

I had an incredible experience getting my tattoo done by Nic Nolen at Moonstone. I brought in a very personal design, and Nic executed it flawlessly. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The studio was very clean and organized, and everyone was friendly and professional.I am absolutely thrilled with the final result. This is hands down the best piercing shop I’ve ever been to 😍 the inside is so nicely decorated and it’s so clean. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted. Nikole was so patient with me and helpful when I was deciding what ear piercing I wanted to get. She educated me on a lot and did such a good job!!! And all their jewelry is so cute. Definitely go here for any piercing needs!

I had my tattoo done by Julia Pelston. She did an absolute wonderful job on the tattoo i got . I sent her pictures and told her what I wanted and she did and amazing job designing . I found my tattoo artist I plan to stick with .

Kendall did my nose piercing. She was amazing! Would highly recommend.

Just wanted to say how lucky I am to have been tattooed by each artist in this shop, as well being pierced by Nikole. Each whom are all extremely professional and courteous. Pricing is fair and completely worth it for the time put into the art and the conscious effort by the entire staff to ensure cleanliness and safety for each client that walks in as well as being treated like family. My niece who lives three hours away lost her nose ring. My sister called me to since she knew I worked not far from a tattoo parlor.Their local one was closed for the holidays already. So I walked in, purchased a nose ring, it was easy-squeezy-lemon-peezy. So thank you Moonstone for helping save Christmas for a very wonderful young lady who definitely takes after her Aunt.

I’ve been a constant client of both Bethany for tattoos and Nikole for piercings for about a year now and I will never go anywhere else. Nikole is so attentive, helpful and creative and I love how she works with me to plan out my piercings and how she hypes me up when I get a new one! Bethany is the most talented, caring tattoo artist that I’ve ever been to and has now done a total of 5 pieces for me, including the start of a full sleeve. Her pricing reflects not only her supplies and time but her talent. Her attention to detail and line work is out of this world and in her chair I feel safe, respected, and heard. This shop is not only a safe space but has so much creative energy about it that I enjoy coming in frequently for new art, jewelry and piercings.

Nikole is by far the best!! She has pierced me three times and has done a phenomenal job with all three!! She was quick, bare minimal pain, no infection afterwards and I healed up great!! I will only be going to her for any future piercings 💜

Nikole is the person you want if you are looking for a piercing!!! She is super knowledgeable and patient. Her prices are amazing. She is very flexible with working with you on scheduling. Her shop and area is very clean and she double checks to make sure everything is sterile. I definitely appreciate the extra steps she takes to make sure everyone is happy. Moonstone is amazing, it has a really cool atmosphere and theyre incredibly attentive to details. Nikole is an excellent piercer, shes patient and gives great attention to explaining your choices and makes sure youre satisfied. She got a previous piercing I had done elsewhere together and its never been happier! She explains why you should do various things, which helps you better understand how your body and your piercing work. Shes also got a good selection of jewelry as well, which is also pretty cool!

Nikole is hands down the best piercer I’ve ever met! She was thorough and explained the process and the after care. She provided a bag with after care products. And even offers to help you change out jewelry etc. she’s good at what she does and knows her stuff! Also very clean and polite!! 100% recommend!

I wont go anywhere else for piercings and I recommend Nikole and Moonstone to all my friends. Ive gotten like 8 piercings from Nikole over the past couple years, all of which I love. I always get compliments on my dermal and it was quick and painless and healed so well. She did an amazing second septum piercing that I absolutely love. She did my nipples and they are flawless. She was even able to reopen my snake bites after like 5 years of not having jewelry in them. She makes you feel so comfortable and walks you through everything shes doing and how to care for your new piercings. I love getting piercings, the fact that she can do dermal and surface piercings is so exciting to me. I cannot recommend this place enough, I will never go anywhere else

I got my first tattoo with Stephanie and she was amazing!! I was very nervous and she was so great, all my fears went away. It was so easygoing and she made sure I was okay the entire time! I 100% recommend her for any tattoos you may want if you want someone knowledgeable and personal!

Nikole is amazing. I travel 45 min just to be pierced by her at this shop. Everything is clean and well maintained. You wont find better service and a better personable experience. She makes you feel comfortable no matter what you are getting pierced.

I brought my 6 year old daughter here to have her ears pierced. To say this was a good experience is an understatement. Nicole is beyond kind and patient. She pierced my daughters stuffed animals ears that she brought with her. Then she had my daughter give her permission to do everything so she was always felt like she was in control and it was done on her timeframe. Do I have your permission to touch your ears? Do I have your permission to clean your ears? Do I have permission to pierce your ear. After she did my daughters first ear she waited until my daughter was ready to do the next one. She never rushed her or pushed or anything. Shed talk to her and ask if she was ready. If she said no she would act like that was wonderful and no big deal. My daughter and I had the best experience ever there. Not only was the experience great but she was so knowledgeable about the whole process. We all felt so comfortable having it done there. Anyone who is thinking of getting their little ones ears pierced do not go to Claires and have some kid put holes in your baby. Go here! They are AMAZING!

Had our daughters first ear piercing. Our daughter was scared to go through with it but Nicole was very patient with us even when she had other customers waiting. I dont think we would have been able to get it done if we had gone to the mall.

My sister and I went to Moonstone tattoo and piercing parlor on two different occasions: one for piercing and another for tattoo. Both were amazing experiences. The piercer, Nikole, was very skilled and she communicated very well which made the whole experience of getting a septum piercing a breeze. The atmosphere there is killer and so is their work. The tattoo artisit, Stephanie, has done four of my tattoos now and they each came out better than I imagined and heal wonderfully. Her work is precise and you can really see the large amount of effort she puts into her pieces. Her skill is phenomenal and I would recommend anyone, being their first tattoo or 20th tattoo, go see Stephanie. She is upfront and honest as she really has her clients best interest in mind.

Nicole is the best!!! My daughter got a belly peircing while on vacation in Alabama, the peircing was a little too deep for the length of the bar that was put in, Nicole removed the bar and installed a longer bar, she was very detailed on what to watch out for while healing. Thanks a bunch!!!

Got my nose pierced a couple weeks ago. This place is awesome. The workers and owner are so nice and welcoming. The piercer explained every step thst she was going through start to finish and was very nice and professional. This will be the only place I go to for future piercings!

The price is ridiculous for two small, tattoos and your deposit won’t even go tours the actual tattoo when you get itI wanted to like this tattoo shop parlor, but it’s not for me and I rather drive 35 minutes somewhere else then four minutes to this place . Just ridiculousThan I get this said to me >“ It’s not really far fetched when you’d pay that anywhere but for a home tattoo.”
