I absolutely love getting my tattoos done by Dan. If you appreciate simple, delicate designs, I highly recommend him, especially. Dan has done four of my six tiny tattoos, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I suggest him to anyone who wants a tattoo, but for sure to those who prefer unique, smaller designs over larger, more traditional ones (and first timers!). Hes excellent at bringing your submitted designs to life and is also fantastic at collaborating to create something new (my next tattoo will be a more intricate collaboration with him!). The shop is impeccably clean and sterile and has a great vibe with awesome music. Its genuinely a fun place to hang out. Many musicians and celebrities also trust this place. Cant wait for my next session!

I got my first tattoo ever at American Ink Studio in Sherman Oaks, with Dan, he guarantees a top-notch experience. The studio is known for its professionalism and welcoming atmosphere, largely due to the owners kindness. Dans artistic skill ensures your tattoo vision comes to life with precision and care. Overall, its a place where quality artistry meets exceptional customer service, making each tattoo session memorable. 10/10 would definitely recommend, they also gave me anti bacterial soap for after care. i am 1000% returning for my next tat i couldnt be more happier and grateful for my experience.

My sister and I got our nose pierced by Miguel. First time coming here spare of the moment. He was very clean and professional. Kind and outgoing. Definitely coming back if I end up wanting something else done.

Went in to get jewelry out back in after I’d had surgery and let the holes close too much. Wasn’t a big money venture but the guys were welcoming and chill. Had a great time chatting music and life with Dan and he did a great job reopening the skin. I’ll be heading back next time I’m ready for more tattoo work done.

I live in the neighborhood, on July 4th at 12:03 am I was walking by the shop and took pictures of the artwork on the walls. I set them as wallpaper on my cell phone. Thats the radist pictures Ive ever seen, that artist is the effing bomb!

Thank you specifically to Dan, the rad Puerto Rican, that’s been tattooing me for 5 years now. I love coming here cause I know I’m going to be accepted, listen to good music, and have a great time. I stopped by American Ink to have my nostril pierced on a whim. Miguel was friendly and professional; the job was done quickly and I walked out a happy customer. A few weeks later the jewelry got pulled out overnight and I couldnt reinsert it myself. Not only was Miguel able to reinsert the piercing with minimal pain, he didnt want to charge me for his time. But of course I left him a tip. ALWAYS TIP YOUR PROFESSIONALS! Hair, tattoos, nails, piercings, car wash, etc. ALWAYS TIP.Bottom Line - Yes I recommend American Ink for your piercing needs.

I was having trouble removing a helix piercing and I stopped here for help. The place is super clean, neat and well organized. The staff was so friendly and helpful and assessed the jewelry and my angry red ear, asking a few quick questions about whether I needed something smaller or just gone. We agreed that the bar should just be removed and they did it quickly, free of charge. They were also kind enough to offer up some tips to expedite the healing. I am so grateful and Im sure I will be returning here should I require any further holes poked in my body!

I had an infected piercing which was getting worse. Migual convinced me to let him take a look. Eventually he said he wanted to take it out . He cleaned the area very thoroughly and gave me home instruction. I’ve been keeping it in for a year because I was scared of how much it would hurt to get it out . I’m so grateful that I was talked into getting it out !! The infected part is finally healing . I wasn’t even charged for the service!!!! It shows they really care for their clients. Will be going back soon to get other piercing. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend stopping by .

I wen there and the guy decided to do a pierce that left me bleeding and took 15 minutes. On top of that his demeaner and intensity was outta this world. He kept slapping my left and talking shit… it was outta this world. And got totally infected. If you are gonna get pierced there do not see Miguel

I just moved to the area with my boyfriend and friend. We walked in and he(Whoever lives in Mexico--He didnt give his name) kind of greated us. Initially it didnt feel like the cleanest shop ever. Everything was kind of exposed and it was a fairly dark place. He just finished on a woman walking out and he asked us what we came in for and then walked away to finish the transaction with the woman he had just finished on. We previously called in to see if they were honoring the Friday 13th special(As most shops do) and he told us to come in to discuss pricing. When he finished he came back to us and wanted to know what we were looking to get. As we were explaining that we werent looking for anything specific and that we kind of wanted his opinion, another customer came in the door and greeted him.(She had been there before). He immediately asked her what she was looking to get and left us at the counter. He points her to a monitor to start picking out her design. We didnt stand there for too long(Maybe 5 min tops) but the fact that we were inquiring about specials and the shop as a whole and we didnt feel very welcomed as new neighbors:/ As we were going to ask our finishing questions the woman at the monitor pulled down her shirt slightly to expose the desired are for ink and he then comments, Ohhh I wanted to do that! This doesnt bother me too much but first impressions are everything to me. Probably wont come back to this shop. But I certainly wish all the best.

I went to this tattoo shop and was let down tremendously,they were outrageously high for very poor work And the guy name AD did my work and im not happy with it at all for ova 1000 $ of work he scarred me ,he rushed me, his drawing was amateur and didn’t have my best intestest in mine just money.One of the worst experience I’ve, had . Don’t go here

I made an appointment for 4 oclock got there at 3:45 to sign in for my appointment. They kept telling me to wait so I waited until 4:45 when I asked and he said it was going to be another 30 to 45 minutes and so I had to leave. They could care less.

Id like to say I am rating the service but I am not however I waited an hour last the time they were supposed to open and ultimately left without getting what I needed and ultimately went somewhere else for my needs as a result. So there is that.
