I got a right nostril piercing done today by Matt Campbell. Talked me through the process and let me know his next steps. Told me about aftercare as well as giving me a sheet in case I forget, which is great for me. Amazing job! 100% recommend

I recommend this tattoo parlor to ANYONE AND EVERYONE and I personally use Zach, but I think everyone there is great. Great environment, great service and fantastic and reliable work. I have only only used Zach, and I’m fiercely loyal bc of how amazing he is, but I feel like I see a lot of quality work from other people come out of their doors. But also….. use Zach ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I went to get my industrial piercing by Matt yesterday. I have really small ears so the original piercing bar he had out and sterilized for me would be to long so he did some looking and found one perfect for my ear size only complication was I had to come back about 45 minutes later for him to sterilize the new one, the reviews I saw of him were worth the wait. He was super nice and attentive the entire time he told what he was doing before he did and when he was doing it. This was my first piercing and I will definitely come back to get pierced again and one day tatted by Matt.

I went to Kris Skee for my first tattoo. He patient with me as a first-timer and answered all my questions. The tattoo looks great and Ive had many compliments on his line work. Highly recommended!Several weeks prior I had a piercing from out of state that was having issues because the bar was roo short. Matt changed out the jewelry and got me all fixed up. Ill likely see him for my next piercing.

Matt Campbell will take care of all tattoo and piercing needs. Very professional with a loads of experience. Takes his time and listens before diving into a project.

I went in with my daughter for her 1st tattoo and a matching one for me. They were able to do both of us on a Friday evening and we were very pleased. Zach was great. Perfectly matched her idea, hes friendly, funny and does outstanding work. The shop is extremely clean, modern and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

I got a tattoo from Kaitlyn. She was very sweet and kind, asked me proper questions, made sure I was comfortable, etc. However, the image I showed her of the tattoo I wanted and the tattoo now permanently on my body are two very different products. She took her own liberties of changing some of the minor aspects of the tattoo that ultimately led to an almost different message I had intended and the shading was done poorly. Even if she is nice, this tattoo is on my body forever and honestly I should not be this upset looking at a tattoo only two months afterward.I have come up here for piercings many times with Matt and not a single issue, however. He is great. 100% recommend him. He explains the process thoroughly and what to expect and is a very nice person.

Kris was absolutely incredible. During our consultation, he was able to take my idea (which proved to be a technical challenge that he tackled masterfully) and collaborate with me to create this incredible tattoo that holds a lot of meaning for me. Not to mention - hes an all-around friendly, down-to-earth person. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to sit down and talk about illustrative art with him, and its evident that hes a true artist himself. Will definitely be coming back!

I had emailed Axel a few weeks ago on me getting a new tattoo since hes done awesome work on the three I have. I just played the waiting game because I didnt want to go to any other tattoo place or artist. He never got back to me, but posted new work on his Instagram. Low-key felt like a slap to my face :(

Myself, two daughters, and two grandkids saw Matt Campbell today for Be Still tattoos, to commemorate my daughter’s cancer journey. Matt was amazing!! He was SO kind and patient with me, as a 70 year old, having my first and only tattoo!! His work is impeccable, as well!! Thank you, Matt, for an amazing experience!!! Just came in for my first tattoo and Zach was my tattoo artist, he did a phenomenal job on the tattoo as well as easing my nerves. Even though i was kind of a wimp (and almost fainted) Zach was incredibly understanding, funny, and helpful. He didn’t make me feel bad about having a rough time at the beginning of the tattoo and continued to be patient with me. Not to mention the atmosphere of the building was so different from so many shops I’ve seen around town and I absolutely loved it. 10/10 will be coming back for any other future tattoos I want to get done.

My boyfriend and I got our tattoos done here and it was a great experience! It’s super clean and the staff was very nice. Zach did my tattoo(bird and wave) and David did my boyfriends (oni). I would highly recommend Diamond State Tattoo! This was my first experience getting a tattoo ever and I have nothing but good things to say. Everyone here was so helpful and kind. It was very easy to reach out to them to discuss design options and make an appointment. Kris did my tattoo and he was amazing! He walked me through the entire process and always made sure I was doing okay. Definitely going to return for any further tattoo needs :)

There aren’t enough stars! I called maybe 15 minutes before coming in and they worked me in, were super nice, and brought my tattoo vision to life! Axel did my tattoo and was so nice and understood it was my first time getting a tattoo and even gave me breathers when I was being a wimp 😂! Thank you from the bottom of my heart yall! Run, don’t walk to Diamond State if you need a tattoo. Oh, didn’t mention the shop itself is immaculate and gorgeous! Bravo!

Eyeliner...pain is tolerable. Its much better with lidocaine. Takes less than 30 minutes. My eyes felt really dry afterward, so I used Systane lubricant eyedrops. (New bottle).

Zach was awesome! I tend to be anxious, and he was very kind and patient which I appreciated. I’m super thankful for the awesome experience! I will definitely be seeing Zach again! This was the tattoo two weeks out.

I came in early October 2020 for my first, smaller tattoo with David who I can only assume no longer works here (to make sure I could handle the pain for my second), then in April 2021 for my second, quite large, cover-up tattoo with Nick and I was blown away. I came in looking to cover self harm scars and he did a wonderful job at doing just that. I wish not only that I lived closer to this place (as I live in Texas) but also that I had the money to get tattooed by Nick for all my tattoos. You can see for yourself how detailed and realistic the end result turned out after a not-so-bad about 5 hour session. A true professional! (And for anyone in need of clarification, Nick did the fox 🤣)

Very unprofessional and missed informed. They tell you something over the phone then its different story when you go up there. Dont waste your time. Go to someone that actually knows what they are talking about.If you are going to try and say somethings state law make sure you know the law you claim you know.

It looks fantastic! Matt Campbell did mine and he is amazing. He was so calm and made me laugh a bit for my first ever piercing. Im so incredibly happy with the performance, the cleanliness, the great customer service with a complete newby. It was a great experience. Ill definitely come back. My partner and I did a walk in and it went extremely well. We both got star tattoos done by Axel. They are both incredibly done and they were friendly and made the experience more enjoyable. He made sure everything was good with the design before he started and made us feel comfortable, especially since it was my friends first tattoo. Everyone else there was really friendly, too. I recently went in to get a piercing done but because i’m under the age of 18 (minor) I have to have an adult come in with me to show birth certificate and to sign wavers that give me permission. When we went in, I told the man at the front desk what I wanted and he told me, my mom, and my sister to wait in the lobby while he ran around talking to his coworkers. My mom did not intend on staying inside the shop because of the fact that she had my 8 month old sister with her. She knows she can be distracting, so she planned on going in signing papers and coming back out. But because the man at the front desk made us wait longer than expected while he ran around talking, my sister (being the infant she is) started making noises. The man behind some type of wall (that we did not see) stood up from behind the wall and blatantly told my mom to “get out”. My mom took it as he was joking around but his face was red and he had a blank stare. He said “We don’t allow children in here you have to get out”. My mom said okay i’m sorry and told me to let her know when to come sign for me to get my piercing. This made me feel uneasy of getting my piercing done there because of his tone and attitude with my mother so I ( the one getting the piercing) left too. She told me on the car ride home that she had planned on sitting outside but the man could have said nicely that they don’t allow kids and could you please wait outside. My mom is sweet and nice to everyone and her being treated like this worried her. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND! there were no displays upon walking up to the store or on the counter that said no kids allowed. ALSO the man behind the counter said nothing to my mom about having my sister with us. WE DONT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP

While I can see they do great work and would absolutely love to get a tattoo from one of the artist. I sent a request to Chris (one of the Artist that works there) on Instagram and after agreeing to do the tattoo he ghosted me, and has said nothing to me for over a month. As good of work as these people do this kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

She is a very gifted artist with a professional & calming demeanor. Immaculate location & practices plus the perfect experience for this happy Mom…. It did open a door for my daughters, who’ve been back more than once 😏

There are honestly not enough good things or praises I can say about Diamond State and specifically Nick. We had a 7 hour session and could tell the amount of time and care he was taking into giving me the best tattoo possible. Nick does amazing work (enough for me to drive 7 hours to get my latest) and I will definitely return to him for my next session. All the praise!!

Went here and got an infinity symbol with paw prints and a heart. I love it , Zach was the artist that did it, he talked to me during the whole thing, and put me at ease. He does really great work. Will definitely go back to him. Recommend this place highly!

Great shop! Kris is an awesome artist. He has done 2 of my tattoos and they are both amazing! He goes over what will and wont work with your design to help you achieve the best design for your tattoo. I will be back for more ink!!

I can only speak for my experience, I looked on their website for their portfolios before getting my 2nd tattoo, I had already gotten one here about 2 years ago so I went ahead and requested the same tattoo artist that I received my last one from because it turned out so well. It was a great choice, I was uncertain about adding color to the tattoo because it looked so well and he offered great advice and I went with it and Im glad I did because the tattoo stands out more with it. He wasnt heavy handed and it was done within an hour and 15 minutes.

I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo by Zach. I liked that he listened to what I wanted and also gave input on what would look nice. I ended up with a beautiful tattoo. Going to Diamond State Tattoo was a great experience. I will definitely being going back to have Zach do my next tattoo.

I first went to Nick Peirce in 2010 back when he was in Searcy. I followed him to Sherwood because he is THAT good. Any vision you have he can make a reality. Ive never had an issues with Diamond State. Its super clean and has a great atmosphere. Without a doubt, they have the best artists in Arkansas. They are just getting started and I see very big things in their future. I love that the guys are respectful. Ive been to shops before and heard nothing but profanity, nonstop. Diamond State is a lot classier than that! And I appreciate it!

Zach is the best! Super professional, great human being, has a great music playlist, and is an AMAZING ARTIST and great conversationalist. I have gotten two large tattoos from Zach at Diamond State. Highly recommend!

Nicholas Peirce is an absolute amazing artist, very patient with clients, very honest and easily gave me the best experience Ive ever had getting a tattoo in a awesome environment. All of the artists in there are very friendly as well and also give their clients great sessions.

I have 5 tattoos, from 5 different places. Hands down, by far, Diamond State is the best place Ive ever been to. The shop is extremely clean and organized, well layed out, and very professional looking. When you walk in, there are iPads mounted to the check in counter, and each iPad is a different artists portfolio. So you get to see exactly what work a particular artist has done, their style, what theyre good at, etc. My brother and I used David Dickens. And he is seriously the most talented tattoo artist Ive had work on me, or that Ive seen work in general. He was extremely personable, very kind, funny, kept you entertained, and made you feel great about the whole process. I came in with a photo of what I wanted done, and he had it sketched out onto the outline transfer paper pretty quick. He talked me through placement options, sizing, everything to make sure I was comfortable with all aspects of this tattoo. And then he got straight to work. David used fresh needles, sterilized everything, and took every precaution I was looking for plus more, to ensure the environment was sterile and safe for my body. He was quick and efficient, and the piece turned out even better than I hoped it would. David is an amazing artist. And I HIGHLY recommend him and Diamond State to anyone looking for a tattoo. After 5 different tattoos at 5 different places, Ill never use another shop. Diamond State and David have my business for as long as I get inked.

I had my tattoo done by Chelcie. She did a phenomenal job. Ive had other tattoos done before but this was my 1st one that had a special meaning behind it. It was for my beloved sister who lost her courageous fight with cancer in Oct. Chelcie listened to what I was looking for and sketched exactly what I wanted and needed. She was very professional and has tremendous talent. The whole atmosphere there at the shop was calm and helps put your mind at ease if you are a little nervous about getting a tattoo. I highly recommend going here for your tattoos.

Carl was my tattoo artist. He is fantastic. Walked me through the steps of getting my first tattoo and the aftercare. The place was very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend Diamond State Tattoo.

These guys are bogus! If you want A LOT of wasted time and I mean a lot of wasted wait around time just to be disappointed at the end in the long run than go with these guys. I waited 6 to 7 months just to get an appointment and they gave me all these crazy run arounds. Just remember theres always a better artist than can do things better for you and probably give you a better price so dont wait around for these jokers.

Walked in and was told there was 45 min wait. We were not spoken to again till 2 and half hours later. The workers got in a verbal argument, and proceeded to throw furniture while we were standing there. The tattoo itself was done very well, and only took ten minutes. Very unprofessional atmosphere. Over all definitely would not recommend.

I have NEVER written a bad review. I will try and make it brief. After seeing Diamond state on tv last year I thought this would be a great place to bring my 17 year old son to get his first tattoo. He has been asking for over a year. He is a high school senior in a town an hour south of Sherwood. We were in the “area” registering him for Pulaski tech. We stopped by to make an appointment to have this done. When talking with them to set up the appointment we told them he was 17. We paid our 50.00 deposit when we set up the appointment and left. 10 days later we show up at our time to finally have the long awaited first tattoo. All seems fine then the guy we set the appointment up with ask us for all of our “documentation”. So we both reach for our drivers license when he ask for his birth certificate. We did not know nor were we ever told we would need this document. He told us to just go home and get it... can someone send us a picture of it... come back..... reschedule.(none of which could happen bet were great ideas in theory) It was pushing 8:00 by time this happened. They close at 10:00. I could make it back by 10:00 but wouldnt be enough time to do the tattoo. Rescheduling was not an option. At that point my son was concerned about letting a person that was so unconcerned with the detail of a required document even perform the service to permeant ink on him. We asked for the deposit which he reminded me was non refundable. Seems very convenient to me that the young man that “forgot” to do HIS job gets to keep 50.00 of my kids HARD earned money. I called the next day just to make management aware. (Feeling like he should receive the refund... but understanding their policy) and what I got is the reason I am writing the review. The gentleman on the phone told me that he doesn’t read minds and it was my responsibility to know the required documantion. Sometimes people get ahead of themselves and forget that doing the right thing is more important that 50.00. I would have settled for an apology and a “we will do better with that and it is our job to inform the customer of laws and policies”. But I got neither. I would not recommend this shop. Maybe I had to high of an expectation. I am very sad to write this.

David is awesome! Everyone is Professional but also makes you feel like a friend and not just another client. The studio is futuristic and up to date! I highly recommend!

Great customer service is still out there, but I didnt find it at Diamond State. I felt I was unimportant to them and that no one cared what I wanted in a tattoo. This is my first tattoo, for my 50th birthday. I thought about it for two years. Most customers are probably younger, but I was willing to spend the same money. I simply wanted a ship tattoo with a small or tiny lighthouse somewhere in the tattoo (either in the background or near the ship, distant from it, whatever would be doable). I wasnt demanding that it had to be an exact way, I just wanted a lighthouse somewhere in there. I tried to explain how symbolic and essential the lighthouse is to me, but the artist didnt think it would look proportioned and refused to even attempt to include it in any way, anywhere in the tattoo. I asked very politely a second time and tried to convince him this is really what I want. He refused, and I almost let him do the stand alone ship, but I was so disappointed and texted my daughter. She reminded me I would be the one wearing the tattoo for the rest of my life. She recommended a tattoo artist in Greenbrier. I visited his shop. He and his colleague sat and talked with me and did a wonderful drawing of a ship with a small lighthouse. Im going there next week to have it done, and Im sure Ill be giving them a five star review. I wasted a lot of time and gas money driving to Diamond State (twice) to check out the shop and then to try to get the tattoo. I messaged and finally called them before going to get tattooed. They were slow to respond to my message, sending me a message the day AFTER I was there asking if I still wanted to come in. On the phone they indicated they could do the tattoo I described, otherwise I wouldnt have gone there on my afternoon off from work. My experience there was very disappointing. I gave two stars because their shop was spacious and clean and no one was overtly rude.

Nick did several cover ups on both arms and I am VERY pleased with his work! He has been such a blessing! To see a real artist AND a kind man is uncommon!

Chelcie is seriously the best artist Ive ever had do work on me. Im pretty heavily tattooed, and I always come back to Diamond State for Chelcies art! She has such imaginative illustrations and is also quite the expert in American Traditional styles. She makes the experience comfortable and fun! I frequently recommend her to my friends and family.

I got a naval piercing done by Matt he was super sweet. I am scared of needles but he made sure I was calm during the whole process 10/10 recommend using him for piercings.
