Josh did my family’s tattoos and they came out beautiful! This shop absolutely made our day by taking a walk in when we needed it. Josh was quick and got everything done fast and efficiently! Pricing is amazing and quality is fantastic!

Chris Thomas went above and beyond to make my tattoo idea come to life! He was super easy to work with through out the whole process, from the consult all the way to end of the session it self. The shops environment is not only top tier clean and organized, it’s fun and they all make you feel comfortable and welcomed! I spent 7 hours in the chair with Chris to complete this tattoo, it is by far my favorite one I have. Every tattoo I have has came from an artist at Golden Lotus, all of the artists there are so talented and I cannot recommend them enough!

Josh Rogers did such a amazing job! He had my idea come to life. They all were so nice and patient with me. I know I was wiggling and moving, however still turned out unique to me and what it represents. What a great guy his hand was steady for 7 hours. So happy with my results. Much love from hot springs, glad I took the chance and drove for the best place in arkansas. I can tell Josh really cared about what he created for me and made it a reality, even through my pain. I have a huge cross on my right rib cage. Its gorgeous. It makes all of my other good tattoos look horrible honestly. I would highly recommend anybody comes to this place. It was truly an amazing experience for me. Wonderful tattoo artist wonderful service. Hands down cant beat it. It may be a fraction more expensive than other places. But god the quality is absolutely astonishing. 5 star.

Best tattoo shop I’ve been too! I got 2 tattoos done with the owner Cris. It’s a great environment, clean, everyone is seriously so nice(the nicest and most patient tattoo artists) his wife Is really sweet and everyone in the studio make you feel welcomed. I had a last minute change in my placement because I chose a different spot while I was in there and they were nice about it and didn’t make me feel like I should keep the spot I wanted first! I really recommend going here, I will totally be back! Also, I have got so many compliments on my tattoos I got done here!

Been wanting to go here for years now and I finally have! I finally got tatted by the ink master himself Chris Thomas! The tattoo I received is super dope and clean. First off they are super friendly here and non problematic. I love the atmosphere and the art that is inside. It is super peaceful. This is the best tattoo artwork that I have ever seen in Arkansas. So if your looking for the best this is the place. My tattoo artist was Chris Thomas and he is by far the best and has the best artwork. His style was a perfect match for me and I love it. I love his creativity and confidence that he has in his self. I definitely will be coming back. I Love how he helped me with my direction and the journey that I am going on with my tattoo art. I must say that it was an honor to have been able to be there in the presence and get tatted by the ink Master!

Such an amazing shop! I sat for over 6 hours with Amy while she did my thigh. The colors and details blew me away. She did exactly what I asked for and then some. They had such a great atmosphere and they were super chill. I cant imagine seeing another artist.They addressed EVERY walk in and talked to them about time, price, and ideas that could make it look even better. Professionalism was on point the entire time I was there.Cant wait to get my next one done!

I have had tattoos done by Kendall and Chris and both artists turned my ideas into art. I walked in a month ago with a picture of a design and Chris immediately found me the first available time that he could create his own depiction of the art I had. I am still blown away by his creation and had the best time listening to good music and arguing with Siri about her volume during my session! The interaction with the shop staff made me forget that soft touch needles aren’t a real thing and that time doesn’t fly! 5 hours felt like 5 minutes and I have an awesome tattoo that exceeded all expectations!

THIS place is awesome! Kendall did a tattoo on my foot about two years ago. The shop is the cleanest and most organized shop Ive ever been in.Chris did a large piece on my husbands back last year. My husband couldnt be happier with the finished product.Al communities from both Chris and Kendal was very professional. They both ensured we were happy with the designs they had created based on mine and my husbands expectations. They ensured we understood what they thought would look good and what would not. AT NO TIME WERE EITHER RUDE OR CONDESENDING.I have recommended this shop to all of my family and friends. My best friend and I have actually decided when we get our matching tattoos she and I will be using Chris and Kendall.Bottom line look no further for quality ink and professional service!

Her color work is the best I have ever seen and experienced. She took my vision and made it a million times better than anything I could imagine. I will forever love the tattoo that she gave me. Got an amazing tattoo here by Chris Thomas his work is incredible. The appointment was 6 hours but it went by so quick. They are all really funny I laughed so much during my appointment definitely a good time. Will be returning soon!

I went to Chris Thomas at Golden Lotus for the first time about 10 years ago and he did a portrait of my daughter on my arm and have been going back ever since. I just finished a full chest piece and sleeve with him and couldnt be happier with it. I knew the theme I wanted to go with but didnt know exactly what I wanted and Chris put his creativity to work and I LOVE it!! I drive a little over two hours just to have him work on me because he is worth it. Good tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good and remember, above all else, tattoos are permanent so make the drive and spend the money for something you can be proud of for years to come.

My tattoo artist left town and after several years decided to find a new one. I do not trust just anyone for my forever ink....and after looking through the artwork of Kendal, Chris and Adam, I decided to to try them out for ink. I was NOT disappointed!! I have had one 4 hour sitting with Nick so far. He is a truly talented artist, the tattoo turned out looking phenomenal! I have to say that the place is clean, it is a very well kept shop.I have seen another user complain about the prices and attitude of the staff... Nick was and the other artist on that side of the shop were friendly and we all joked around through out my sitting.The prices are not bad at all! I spent time as an apprentice, and the prices where I worked were comparable, and I am sorry that this needs said, but a good tattoo is not cheap and a cheap tattoo is not good.If you want to get tattooed in a clean shop by an artist that you can be proud to show off your stuff, you will pay more than you would to a Basement Commando, that is just basic fact.I will be returning to Nick for more work soon. If you are in the Little Rock area and you want a tattoo that looks amazing... Look no further!

The process to schedule my appointment was easy. Conveying my idea to Chris of what I wanted was convenient he was very professional before I showed up for my appointment. I had arrived 10 min late. Chris was there waiting and assured me that it was no big deal. He knew I was coming from out of town. I like to respect peoples time so I was very apologetic. The shop is very clean, doctors office clean. I spent 6 or so hours getting my work done. I can say that it flew by. His quality of work is superb and his ability to make you feel like part of the family is uncanny. Just from the sheer quality I would give 6 stars. But the experience is something that cant be measured. Thank you Chris. I will be returning.

Ive always had respect for these artists! They literally put so much time and effort into the tattoos to make sure you have a custom piece that exceeds your expectations! Ive been to the shop a few times when I or my fiance were getting tattooed by Chris. Chris was very professional and nice and provided good criticism on the work that was wanted until we came up with an idea that worked. All of the artists are very good at what they do and I plan on getting work from each of them. Hands down my favorite shop in Arkansas

Ive gone here for tattoos by Amy Colson for my last three tats and will keep coming back! Theres nothing she cant do and her style is so unique and smooth. Shes such a cool person too. The other artists are also highly talented and laid back. They no longer take walk ins or do piercings and are appointment only (COVID restrictions). They also sanitize EVERYTHING and are diligent about wearing masks and keeping distance. Theres a very welcoming, chill atmosphere. I love this place and Amy and wont go to anyone/anywhere else ❤

Got my first tattoo here yesterday and I’m very happy with it. The artist, Kendall won’t hesitate to tell you like it is, but he’s super chill and does his best to get you what you want. I was really nervous but everyone there was nice and hilarious; it made for a really good experience!!

I always have a great time when I come to this shop! Ive had six sessions in the last two years with Amy and she is an amazing artist who is dedicated to her craft. Everyone else is always super nice, friendly, and accommodating; I spend the whole time laughing and I love getting to see what they are working on when we take breaks. Ive never been disappointed with my experience!

I have more than a dozen tattoos. Some black and gray and some color, and all large pieces. Every one of them was done by Chris Thomas. He is the owner of Golden Lotus and an award winning tattoo artist. In my opinion as far as Arkansas tattoo artists go, Chris is the best of the best. I would never go to anyone else for my tattoos. Please keep in mind that while yes it is your body, it is also the art of that tattoo artist that is being put on display. Once you have received a tattoo, you essentially become a “walking billboard” for that tattoo artist. People will see your tattoos and they will ask you who did the artwork. Based on whether the tattoo is good or bad effects whether they are asking where to go or where NOT to go. No tattoo artist worth going to will be willing to put their name and reputation on a bad tattoo. Believe it or not this is a GOOD thing. It means they actually care about the art and not just making a buck. Remember when looking to get a tattoo that the men and women who do the tattoos are the artist. You are not. Trust them when they tell you the best way to turn your idea in to a great tattoo that will wear well over time. Chris and his team will never put their name and reputation on a bad idea. If you want the best, go to the best and that is Golden Lotus Tattoo Studio. If you are only interested in getting your way, go somewhere else and remember Golden Lotus when you realize you were wrong and are ready for your “cover up” tattoo. Chris done my last tattoo, he was professional and done a great job. Im already planning on coming back in a couple of months. As far as Im concerned he is my tattoo guy now. The shop was clean the atmosphere is awesome. The other artists do great work too.

This is by far the best tattoo shop that Ive ever been to. All 4 artist are professional, respectful, talented, and most of all...honest! I have gotten 3 large pieces done here over the past few months. I got 2 amazing pieces done by Kendal (1 Good vs Evil - Black and Grey, 1 American Flag with 2 M16s in color). Last week I got a bad ass Freddie Krueger portrait on my calf (Black and Grey). I am excited to get back in there and add to the collection =)

Came in and got a tattoo done by Kendal today. He did an amazing job and really worked with me. I don’t really get why this shop has so many reviews about the staff being rude and not willing to work with you. They were all amazing and even laughed and joked around with me and my fiancé. Just got another tattoo this one in memory of my dad who use to deliver ice for living. Amy was amazing. Its exactly what I wanted . Got my first tattoo from Kendal and he was very determined to make sure my tattoo would look great now and in 10 years from now. I showed him a small detailed tattoo and he said it is way too small and it would not look good in a few years. He enlarged it to the size it should be (tiny tattoos ruin quickly with age when the ink blurs under the skin). Of course I didn’t know this and any other tattoo place would just take my money and do it. He ensured me that Golden Lotus would not give a tattoo if they knew it would not be a good one. He was of course stern and serious about his art (people easily find this rude and get offended) but I trusted his skill and intelligence in this field of work. The tattoo came out exactly how I wanted! He was kind and helpful and I will definitely continue to use them for the rest of my tattoos. Very talented and truthful people!

Ive had 3 tattoos done here. Each by different Artists (Kendall Harley, Nick Pierce, & Matt OBaugh). Matt and Nick have since started their own shops down the road. Best of the Best!And to whoever thinks this place is overpriced or too expensive, you get what you pay for with tattoos. These are quality works of art. They actually like to take their time & put their talent to use while also giving you what you want, not just copying a picture of a tat you saw someone else get.These are with you your whole life. If you cant afford it & dont think good quality tats are worth their price, just get some temp tattoos.

Ive been here several times for artwork and have loved every experience. I had a large tattoo I wanted to have covered up. After having several artists tell me it wasnt possible I stopped searching. While in Afghanistan I read an article in a tattoo magazine about a shop in my home state. That article stuck with me, and it was on Golden Lotus.After several years I decided I would reach out and see if it could be done. Kendal told me that it was 100% doable. My first experience in the shop was 8 hours and it was awesome! Now I can just shoot Kendal a message on Facebook with an idea and he takes it from there. (We have become pretty good friends) Well get it all set up and booked. He always takes it to the next level and Im never left with something that I dont want. I drive 2 hours to get an awesome, one of a kind tattoo just because its well worth it to me!When it comes to tattoos, you have to have an open mind and let the artist be an artist. You just give them an idea of what you like and let them do what they are best at. I would rather an artist tell me it wont work, than the artist stick it on me and then me realize it doesnt work. Kendal knows Im open to anything and that he is the artist. Im just the canvas who had the idea. Thats how you get a next level tattoo. Be open minded, bring the idea, and let the artist be the artist. All of the artist are great in this shop!

I use to go to this place to get my tattoos before my tattoo artist moved to the most amazing shop Diamond State Tattoo. I walked in though to see an artist I had used once and they were all rude. The owner Chris was very disrespectful and the whole place just seemed very unprofessional and I wont ever go back. I asked if Kendall had time to do a tattoo and an artist there looked at me and said cant you see hes busy And then everyone else just was absolutely rude and after that my husband and I walked out! Never again

I have gotten tattooed all over the United States, my work took me all over ,since coming home to arkansas I have had ink put on me here several times over the last couple years , they by far are the best around , in my opinion . Great customer service , friendly atmosphere. Their work and prices are the best I have received. I went to this place for my first tattoo and I loved it!! I had researched for a while different places because I wanted a high quality tattoo obviously. I looked at all there work and fell in love with Chris Thomass work (although all of there work is great) his just seemed like he had done a lot of work that I wanted done. I emailed with him asking a lot of what I thought were stupid questions because of course this being my first tattoo I was unsure of a lot of things but he emailed me back with no problems we set an appointment and I paid my deposit which went towards my tattoo later which is what I thought was awesome. I drive the 3.5 hrs. to the shop and they were nice I showed him what I want and he talked with me and showed me a bunch of different ways he would custom my design so that it didnt look like anyone elses and we got started 4hrs later my work was done and I love it he tweaked and added as we went such as color to highlight that was just thrown in (of course with my approval) and he didnt charge more. after wards I wanted a t-shirt to remember the first shop i got my first tattoo at and he gave me 2 for he price of one (my bf was with me) and he gave me my tattoo cream for free. this man and he shop was amazing and im so glad I took the time to drive that far for the experience!! I recommend it to everyone!

I got my first tat here by Matt Thomas about nine years ago and it still looks great. It started out as a simple cross, but Matt continuously came up with creative ways to texturize and shade the tattoo making it unique so that by the time it was finished it was completely one-of-a-kind. We took a break half-way through the tattoo, and I could have gone home then and been happy with it. Ive gotten lots on compliments on the cross. The price was a little steep, but he threw in a hat and tattoo ointment gratis. You pay for what you get. Quality or quantity?

Chris the owner is a douchebag​! I witnessed him yelling at a girl because she was scared of a tongue piercing, while he was tattooing me. His work is not great, just ok at his best. He is too cocky. He thinks he is better than what he is, and he is very overpriced for his work.

Amy Lynn is the bomb! My Goku tattoo is the best . She is the only one I will allow to tattoo me anymore, even though its over a two hour drive. Well worth it.

If you already have the perfect sketch and/or you want a tattoo artists to do whatever his vision is, this is the place for you! If you have an idea but are looking for multiple sketches to figure out what would look best permanently on your body... don’t ask for Chris

I know dude was runner up on Ink Master. But that doesn’t mean he’s all that and a bag of chips. I mean, he’s got tattoo skills. But his ego heavily outweighs his ink. I asked for a simple, 1” or 1 1/2” outline of an owl. I had the exact picture. He didn’t want to do that. He instead didn’t listen to anything I said about likes and dislikes. He proceeded to sketch a 6”-7” size tattoo with all these cartoonish details. I said no that’s not at all what I wanted. He yelled at me to figure out what I wanted then. I kinda froze/panicked and just said an arrow. I hated every second of it. But please give the other guy a try!!! He’s great!

Got my very first piercing by Chris Thomas over 20 years ago and I always recommend his shop to get a high quality tattoo or piercing. They dont disappoint.

WOULD PUT NEGATIVE IF I COULD! Harrassed and threatened of violence by these people over social media. Worst business Ive ever encountered. Horrible people who have no respect for others.I set up the consultation, eager to start my piece, I was all but ready to drop close to three grand after it was all said and done (over time of course, also lifelong customer in the making.)Knowing I was more than ready, already picturing the one on my arm like it was already there, I paid the deposit before I left the minute consultation. (Which from where Im staying in LR is a good over an hour drive with the traffic after work.)I messaged Chris asking simple questions about what we discussed in consultation. (Every time I called, no one answered.) Never once did I mention I wasnt happy, I repeated many times that it is in his hands since hes the artist. I didnt want to come off as this EXACTLY what I want and I WANT it regardless if it looks bad in ten years! I wanted communication, input, collaboration as it is a team effort to create what is in one persons mind and creating it with the skill of another.Well apparently after that either Chris decided he didnt have the skill set to do so (which he should have told me before accepting my deposit) or something else to that matter as he replied he will no longer do my project.To get my refund back I had to drive over an hour in LR rush hour traffic after being threatened (stating he screenshoted everything so I cant give a bad review.)Well that was all fine and dandy, until I show up... and they were then EXTREMELY rude to me. Also tried to keep me in the store until I gave them my personal information like my drivers license, address etc... when I had absolutely no service done by them and they didnt require any of that when they took my deposit.I left a review on their page with the screenshots of how he treated me, the full conversation to show I was nice and respectful and just putting my full experience out there for others to make of it what they would. Chris Thomas, his wife and about 150 other people harrassed me online for about 6 hours. Threats of violence, law suit for deflection of character (or whatever its called) from my review, saying I needed my uterus stomped, and since I did not give a reaction to any of their continued cruelity, they started tagging me in their comments until I blocked them all.Worst customer service experience Ive ever had. Never been basically cyber bullied by a business and their friends before.

Awesome place with awesome people. I have gotten several tattoos done there, and all are great. The people have always been pleasant, professional, and focused on providing amazing artwork.

They made me pay before I got my tattoo which was weird. Then the water plash by the female that didn’t even tell me her name was terrible. I literally told her she could keep the money I was leaving to another tattoo shop. Please don’t go there. I’m saving you guys. I took one for the team.

Amy is lit.The staff will keep you entertained however long youre there. The whole atmosphere is very professional and relaxing. 10 outta 10 would recommend and I know Ill definitely be going back.

They dont do anything piercing related but still show up when you search piercings so beware!

Honestly i use to like lotus but now they big headed and honestly not the best in town. People got anger issues over there too like pshh take that energy elsewhere.
