Katie Bink did an awesome job on my tattoo. She did a portrait of my dog that passed. The detail was incredible and she even seemed to get his eyes perfect. Her touch was very light too. All the artists in battleship just want to make sure you have a relaxed experience and the best tattoo you can get. I originally contacted a different artist and they recommended Katie based on the type of tattoo I wanted. Traveled from alaska to arizona to get this tattoo and it was worth it. Really great shop!

Edit: okay, I take back part of what I said. The vibes were still there and everything but a couple problems. 1. She didnt give me any aftercare instructions or recommended products. Just pierced it and send me on my way 2. The piercing itself is crooked. It always sits to the left and hurts to adjust it straight. This is really unfortunate bc I love my belly piercing but I may have to get it repierced in the future.My piercer was Natalia and she did a beautiful job! Very comfortable to be around, welcoming and good at her job. I got a belly button piercing and Im so happy with it! ^^ the nice man at the front with the side face tattoo was also very helpful. 10/10 atmosphere and professional yet relaxed.

Great find in a small town. Very clean and upscale shop. Artists have a ton of experience and will be patient every step of the process. I highly recommend if you are in town and want some ink, you check out Battleship Tattoo, you wont be disappointed. Ive got tattoos in many places over the years and never have I received such a great aftercare gift along with my ink. 7 days after the Ink, its completely healed, with no itch or pain ever. I will definitely be back next time Im in town.

I got my first tattoo at Battleship from Katie, and she did an amazing job. Great line work and shading. She made sure to do exactly what I wanted. This business was clean and the people were friendly.

Just visited battleship tattoo for my first time. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and the shop itself was gorgeous as well as very clean! My artist was Dustin. He went over the entire process with me and made me feel very comfortable. When it came time for the actual tattoo he stayed in communication with me the entire time to make sure I was okay. The tattoo came out very clean and probably one of the best looking tattoos I have! I will be back again to work with Dustin very soon!

Mia is amazing! I love my sleeve! Anyone you get in this shop will do a great job. I’m so impressed by the cool staff and the cleanliness of this place is great. I always feel at ease when my artist takes the needles out of the plastic in front of me. It really shows the level of professionalism and safety for the client. This is probably the best tattoo shop I have been to. I have been trying for about three years or longer to get a tattoo on my arm covered and have had many other places tell me no or ghost me. I didnt have high hopes when I reached out due to previous experiences. But, it was an easy process to get a consultation set up. I just had my first session for a cover up last Sunday and I am IN LOVE with what Matt has done so far. I am so excited to see how the whole tattoo comes together. Everyone is super nice and easy to have a conversation with. The atmosphere is comfortable and humorous, their decorations are my kind of humor too. I plan to come here from now on to get my tattoos done if possible. Amazing, just amazing.

The establishment itself was very clean and organized. Everyone in there was very welcoming and friendly. I got a tattoo from Jorge who was excellent! I can not wait to go back and get more work done. 10/10 can not recommend enough.

Made a consult appointment. Showed up to the appointment and the tattoo artist was not there. No attempt to make it right. Just glad I did not start a tattoo and have the artist flake out. Do not waste your time.

Ive been working on a sleeve with Mia Wood for almost a year now and its been an amazing experience. Mia is easily the most talented artist Ive ever let put me in immense amounts of pain, but she might also be the nicest. Mia is a great person. Shes thoughtful, shes funny and shes unflappable, willing to work through and around my weird quirks and intolerance of elbow pain without batting an eye. Matt and the rest of the staff are really cool too and seem super supportive of each others work, which creates a really relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Come check em out, you wont be disappointed.

This was the only shop that took me & my friend in for a walk in on a Monday. It was national pineapple day so me & my friend wanted small pineapple tattoos. Mia did both of them for us & I absolutely love mine! It is the smallest tattoo I have but it hands down has the best line work & shading out of any other tattoo I have.

We drove more then 5 hours to get my first tattoo with Carrie and would do it again in a heartbeat to have her work on another tattoo. It turned out so much better than I had ever hoped for! She is absolutely amazing! When we saw the artwork she had been working on for the first time we were floored. On top of being an amazing artist she was fantastic at talking me through the process and answering any questions I had and I never felt uncomfortable (aside from, you know, getting hit with a bunch of needles...) the entire time. Very clean shop and very professional.Thank you Carrie!

It was a great experience. Michael was my tattoo artist and he went above and beyond my expectations. His attention to detail was wonderful. Very professional and just a pleasant guy to speak with. This was my second time getting tattooed at battleship and I cant imagine going anywhere else.

My daughter and I got similar tattoos done by Amanda. It was my daughters first tattoo and Amanda was amazing with her, very thorough and detailed. It was an incredible experience. Wow, what an amazing place to get a tattoo. I had Katie spend about 4 hours on a rose tattoo that blew away my expectations. I do not live in Arizona, but would highly recommend this place to anyone. ALL of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which you dont always get in tattoo joints. More importantly, the professionals inside are why you should go. They are true experts in their craft and I couldnt be happier with the work.

For now Im gonna rate this three stars. I felt a little rushed when in fact only one person was getting a tattoo and I felt like there was little interest in what I wanted. However, we all have bad days and I would really like Battleship tattoo to do my ink none the less. The three can still be moved up or down depending on my next visit.

Mia did a greyscale tiger and color plum blossom tattoo on my right shoulder blade. Stunning fine detail through out. Mia is an excellent artist and a perfect match for the artwork I desired. Wow, she is really good!!!

Scheduled appointment for touch up and new ink for my mother who was in town, even called to confirm appt and was told she was good. Show up at scheduled time to be told the artist doesn’t come in till later and he had no idea he was even scheduled. The artist Michael is awesome, the management and persons running the place and scheduling... terrible. Place is run by amateurs. Michael came in on a moments notice to touch up but unable to do new ink bc of time restraints. He was awesome but like I said this place is apparently run by amateurs. Must be new management bc previous experience was great. Tried to buy a shirt with card and told cash only. Terrible. Won’t be back, def taking business elsewhere.

No one was there. I thought they opened at 11 am? A car load full of girls left as I was pulling in the parking lot at around 11:25. Whats up???? Thats OK. I spent my 300.00 dollars down the road at Strange Ink!!!

Got an excellent cover piece and a small wrist piece by Mike. Excellent work. Excellent environment. Great pricing too. One of, if not the, best places to get a tattoo in southeast Arizona. Sent family to there, and saving pieces to have done exclusively there.

My wife and I have been going to Matt for almost 10 years and his new shop is excellent. Its a clean environment and he has a trustworthy and experienced staff of artists that I highly recommend. My arm has been a work in progress and I will post when its complete.

My tattoo artist was Katie and don’t get me wrong she did a good job however I’ve been waiting for more than 3 months to just finish the tattoo she started. It’s very unprofessional that the person who started your tattoo can’t get back to you to finish what they start. I’ve text her I’ve left her messages and I have yet to get a response. So unfortunately I’ll have to go to someone else to just finish my tattoo. Not a happy customer.

For being my first tattoo Amanda did such amazing work. I am totally in love with it and I will most likely be coming back. I truly recommend she is an amazing artist.
