Sammie took care of me for a jewelry change of my nose and Monroe. She was awesome, very nice. They have a decent selection of jewelry and I was able to get something completely different than the normal nose rings you see out there! Place is clean as well.

Sammie was absolutely amazing from helping me picking out jewelry to walking me through the piercing process. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. Her personality is so warm and bubbly. I had a great experience and highly recommend.

I first came here about two years ago after a disaster with my nose piercing from a different shop. Sammie was there to help and she ended up repiercing my nose once it was healed up. She is the kindest person and so incredibly talented at what she does! I have since gotten three more piercings done by Sammie, and all I can say is I wish I found her sooner and could have had all of my piercings done by her! The piercing room is so beautiful and clean. I always recommend Sammie and Authentic Arts to anyone looking for a new piercing.

I thought my brand new piercing had fallen out and this studio took me in and helped me fix it. They were so nice and accommodating especially since I had a flight back home that same day. Sammie was particularly wonderful with walking me through the whole process.

I have gotten 2 nostril piercings from Sammie! When I tell you the experience was incredible both times… the quality of her work and the jewelry is amazing! She takes great care of her clients and walks through each step of the process and explains everything she does, as someone with anxiety this was super helpful! Priced very well and the establishment is gorgeous and very clean (incl. the bathroom). Wonderful atmosphere, people, and piercings. I would 100% recommend coming here and definitely check out Sammie!

Ive gotten pieces by both Rachel and Dan and they are amazing, location is really clean and they have been taking great precautions during the pandemic. Highly recommend this shop to anyone who may be nervous ab getting their first tattoo as well as someone on their 20th.

I had 3 piercings done by Alexandra and I CANNOT recommend her enough. She is absolutely amazing and takes time to walk you through the jewelry selection process, piercing and aftercare. She even helped with me with a nostril piercing issue (on a piercing done months ago in another shop). She is not only knowledgeable but she is kind and personable. An overall amazing person and someone I trust completely with my current and future piercing needs. I will definitely be a lifelong client. Plus, the jewelry they have to offer is stunning. Its hard not to want every piece!

I am so happy that I chose authentic arts for my portrait tattoo of my pup who passed. Dan did an amazing job! It looks just like my pup and I couldn’t be happier. Not only was he kind and polite but he also made sure that I was ok throughout the entire tattoo. I didn’t initially know what to expect because this was my 1st big tattoo and I was scared but Dan was so kind and understanding of my fears. He took his time to ensure that the tattoo matched the picture I gave him and I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo! Lost my mom on 4/28, my sister and I decided to get memorial tattoos for her on Mother’s Day, was a spur of the moment idea so we just showed up as walk ins. From the jump felt welcomed and comfortable. I gave Tom a rough idea of what I was looking for and he drew up a design, collaborating on what would look and fit best. Was like talking to one of my friends, couldn’t be cooler about it. Attentive and friendly throughout the process, he nailed the tattoo…I love it, and my sister hers. I’ll always be grateful for the shop, they made an emotional day and experience that much easier. Can’t wait to go back for another. He also turned me on to some new music so that’s a bonus.

Authentic Arts Tattoo and Piercing is by far one of the best tattoo shops. Dan Kollmer is my favorite tattoo artist. He’s done so many tattoos on me, I’ve been going for close to 10 years. Everyone I know goes to him. If you want an amazing tattoo professionally done definitely go see him. Comes up with so many ideas. He’s done competitions and came first place. Awesome guy! I get ALL my piercings here with Alex! Shes amazing. So patient and helpful throughout the process. Such an awesome experience when I came here with my husband on Saturday. I had a appt with Sammie for my belly button piercing and she was so kind, professional and makes you real comfortable. She walked me through everything and was so patient when I asked a ton of questions. Honestly, all the individuals I spoke to who work there so far have been so kind. I’ve always felt intimidate to walk into a tatoo shop because some aren’t as friendly. Thank you all, you guys rock.

Sammie is such a sweetheart!! ❤️ She pierced my nostrils a few days ago and I am still loving them every time I look in the mirror. The entire experience was relaxing and VERY clean. Not only do they autoclave your jewelry, she prepped the skin with iodine and alcohol with all sterilized instruments. She let me know what she was doing each step of the way, insuring I was comfortable and ready. The jewelry they have is beautiful as well.

I’ve only ever gotten pierced by sammie so far and i can’t sing her praises enough. she is so sweet, so informative and overall just amazing. i don’t know how she does it but every time i get jewelry changed anywhere else, it’s painful and uncomfortable and with sammie, i don’t even feel the slightest bit of pressure when swapping jewelry out. the jewelry selection they have is unlike any other place i’ve been to, there’s so much to choose from (ranging from decorative pieces to more simple jewelry) which i absolutely adore, the environment is clean and i just overall love this shop. i can’t recommend them enough!

Ive been here a couple times for piercings now and continue to be impressed with their professionalism throughout the process! Alexandra is really great. She takes her time with picking the placement and talks through the entire process. Feels very clean and safe, too. Will definitely keep going back for more!They also stock a lot of the popular press fit end brands and will order in specific items for you. Just overall super pleased with my experience!

Got my earlobes pierced from this place, and I can’t recommend it enough. Sammie was very professional, and really took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. The studs and instruments were autoclaved prior to being used, and I was very happy with the results. Quality work! Thank you Sammie! :)

Authentic Arts is a fantastic tattoo shop. My best friend and I walked in to get matching tattoos. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and treated with kindness. We absolutely loved our tattoos. About a week later, we received a call from the shop informing us that the artist had left the shop but the owner saw a picture of our pieces and wanted to meet with us to see if they needed any touchups.I went back and met with Tommy and well I can not say enough nice things. From the moment I met him, I felt like I had known him for years. You could instantly see that he is a standup businessman and a fantastic tattoo artist. He looked at my tattoo and explained that although it was a great piece that I loved, he wanted to make it better. I made an appointment for a few weeks later, and I am so happy I did. I loved the original piece, but Tommys touch up really made it pop.Tommy is such a personable guy. He immediately made me feel comfortable, and we spoke nonstop for the entire hour I was there. The shop is clean, the staff is wonderful, and knowing the high standards Tommy holds them to, I would 100% recommend Authentic Arts to anyone looking for a new tattoo or piercing.*Side note*The amount of customers that came in for piercing was mind blowing. The girl that was doing the piercings greeted each customer in such a warm manner and every client left with a huge smile. You can tell the staff here enjoys what they are doing, which is important when youre going in to make a permanent change to your body.

Just had my daughter’s piercing done by Alexandra. She was so clear as to the process and what to expect. She did her measurements multiple times to make sure all was perfectly placed. She went over how to care for the piercing and said she is here whenever we have a question or wanted us to make sure it was healing OK. This put my mind at great ease. Everyone is so professional, the studio is super clean, and the staff makes sure you know everything is sterilized. If you are considering a piercing, I highly recommend.

Got a small heart tattoo with my friend, paid almost 300$ for it combined, the artist val used a stencil but still somehow managed to make the shape EXTREMELY uneven, the thickness of the lines uneven, and when it healed my tattoo was left with two gaps in it. they were nice though and responded to our instagram dms and gave us a full refund. don’t know how anyone could mess up something so simple while using a stencil.

I had an appointment last night at Authentic Arts to have my nose pierced. I previously had it done, so it’s not my first rodeo, but this was by far my best piercing experience! From start to finish it was great! Their choices for jewelry were amazing! And unlike other shops I had been to they pierce with the flat backs, so it does not look like you’re constantly walking around with a booger during the healing process with the horrible L shape bar that never fits quite right. Then the piercer Sam was by far one of the sweetest people I had ever met. She was very knowledgeable and polite. I am handicapped, so it takes me a little bit to get on and off the table, to the back of the shop and she was so kind. I will definitely be going back to her for all future needs. My friend and I did end up getting walk in tattoos with Valerie and Dan which came out INCREDIBLE! We both left very happy and intend to be back.

I would recommend Alexandra to everyone. She is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She takes her time reviewing the jewelry with you and you never feel rushed the entire appointment. I have seen her three times and she is consistent and so helpful. Got a cartilage piercing by Sammie yesterday and the process was flawless. She’s extremely kind, fun, and an absolute pro. Sammie let me know what was happening as she performed each step and there was very little discomfort. The jewelry selection is also lovely and extensive. When this one heals a bit it’s pretty likely I’ll be back for more.

Mikey is crazy talented. Best tattoo artist I’ve been to, and I’ve been to quite a few. He’s generally quiet when he works, but don’t let that intimidate you. it’s because he’s concentrated. He’s got the most solid designs and every tattoo I’ve showed him he always seems to spruce it up to make it turn out a lot better than the inspiration I show him. I’m always so happy with the work I receive from him, and his pricing has always been fair for the quality work he produces. Mikey’s a beast when it comes to traditional. He’s done 10 of my tatts, and each one came out beautifully. He really takes care and time and pride into his work. One time he stayed late past the shops closing time in order to finish my piece, and was super nice about it. He cares about his clients and always finds a way to fit me into his schedule. His 19 years of tattooing really reflects in his work. I’ve never been upset with a piece I’ve gotten from him , and he’s always giving cool suggestions and really makes your idea come to fruition. He was warm and welcoming when I first met him. Really cares about your design choices, and always seems stoked to draw it up for you. If u want sick work, Mikey’s your man.

I’ve been coming to authentic arts for piercings with Alexandra since I’ve been 18, I’m now 21. I came to get my tongue repierced. Expecting all the normal pain and discomfort. After getting my tongue pierced the left tip of my tongue went numb. I didn’t think much of it at the time. Mind you, Alexandra explained that she did pierce it crooked and said if i wanted it to be straight I could come back and get it redone. As I was driving home something didn’t feel right. I looked in the mirror and the piercing was COMPLETELY crooked. Pierced correctly on top and and incorrectly on the bottom. I took it out the second I arrived home. Next morning I cannot extend my tongue or move it properly without an almost “tv static” like feeling going through my tongue and the hole as well. I left work early to go to urgent care. Come to realize she actually pierced a superficial vessel in my tongue which is causing the feeling and pain. It will take 8 weeks at the very least to heal and that’s if it heals completely. I’ve had over 20 piercings before. To let a client leave like that is completely unacceptable. As well as using a clamp to pierce the correct spot and STILL pierced it incorrectly. I requested a refund and was issued one, at the very least. Alexandra called me and i calmly explained the situation to her. Her response was “drs often like to tell you things that will scare you.” She did apologize but I feel that the situation was not handled correctly. Needless to say, I will never step foot in this business again. I understand all piercings come with a risk but this could have all easily been avoided. I can’t speak for the other piercer, Sammie nor the tattoo artists who currently work there. Other than Tommy, the owner he’s great. Please look out for yourself and proceed with caution when booking a piercing. So sad to have to write this review. I don’t want other people to go through the experience and possible permanent injury I’ve gone through.

I got a navel piercing with Alex and the whole experience was quick, clean, and very comfortable. She discussed the whole process in detail and answered all of my questions. I almost fainted and she helped me and let me rest. Will be coming back for more piercings!!

Got a tattoo with amanda back in March, a smoky rose in the back of my arm, I had a great experience with her she always checked in to make sure I was okay and comfortable if I needed any breaks or to move around etc, she made me feel comfortable and welcomed and I felt the price of $200 for the tattoo was plenty fair for her very careful amazing work, booked another appointment with her in august and I’m definitely looking forward to it. Just got a Medusa piercing done by Sammie. She was so kind and patient with me. She was also extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I barely felt any pain. If you’re looking for a seamless piercing experience she’s the one to go to!

I cannot suggest Sammie highly enough! I went to her after seeing her with a friend to get her piercings done- she makes you feel so at ease even when youre apprehensive, and shes just such a sweetheart. The store itself features a lovely selection of jewelry in a variety of pricing ranges. I live in Huntington and recommend this business to everyone of my friends, despite the fact that it is a long distance away. I trust her with all of my piercings and issues, and she always delivers beautiful results!

Ive been to authentic arts for all of my tattoos. The staff is super cool and friendly. Theyre all very talented artists. The inside is super cool! I would say the vibe is upscale vintage. I also got my piercings done here. Alex recently changed my stud to a gold hoop and it looks amazing! She was super gentle and explained everything very well. Such a sweetheart! Their jewelry is also gorgeous. I would even come here just to hangout! I’m not going to lie, i look forward to booking because the guy that works at the front with the eyebrow piercing is super cute. Cant wait to go back!

I went to authentic arts after a friend of mine recommended the shop to me. I looked through the different artist books and decided the owner, Tom, was my guy. I couldn’t recommend him enough! I decided on a forearm sleeve that took 2 sessions. Tom makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t mind answering dumb first timer questions. Overall amazing tattoo and an amazing dude.

I had a very positive experience here. I was a bit anxious and Sammie was very friendly, explained everything and made me feel super comfortable. The piercing looks perfect and I love it. The shop itself felt very clean and sanitary. Bonus: They had awesome music playing. Would return here for other services for sure.

Just left this place. I HATE to leave a bad review but I want to let future customers know. The work was good but $400 for one hour of tattooing ? It was the outline of an elephant for gods sake. The size of my palm. Not some detailed portrait. I’m almost covered in tattoos. I know the price range. $400/hour ain’t it. I could have given this place a lot of work but not for that price.

Had the best experience at this place! Alexandra, you’re amazing! I came in looking to get 2 piercings done, but I still had some doubts about the location and also had no clue as to what kind of pieces I wanted to put in the new piercings. Alexandra spent at least half an hour with me solely helping me pick jewelry, holding it up to my ear, putting it away and then bringing it back again because of my “can I see that one again”. She did not only make me feel very comfortable and did not rush me until I had “I love it moment!”, but she also was very helpful and invested in picking the pieces that went well together, fit my desired design and my budget. The pieces I selected were sterilized before we started. Alexandra took her time to explain all of the post care instructions and I felt well informed. I got two piercings done, one in the earlobe was super easy, I almost did not feel anything. The second one was in the cartilage at the top of my ear(can’t remember the proper term), it was a little more painful, but I felt the pain for maybe 30 seconds. The procedure was quick and the piercing room was clean and neat. It’s been two days since and I do not fee l any pain or discomfort and absolutely love my new piercings! Thank you Alexandra for your care!

Went back for my 2nd ear piercing; nearly a decade later! Sammie was absolutely awesome she walked me through the process , helped me select my jewelry ( they have a beautiful collection ), took her time to do the right placement , talked me through the entire process and was very gentle. The place is clean and hygienic.

My daughter had Alexandra do a helix piercing today and I had her do a rook piercing. Alexandra was so patient while we were indecisive in picking out our jewelry. Had a tattoo appointment with Justin recently. I couldnt have been happier with the experience. I spent a long time researching Justins artwork before deciding on booking the appointment. Justin took my idea, provided great feedback, and together we worked out a solid concept. The day of the appointment went great as well. Very professional, clean environment. Great atmosphere and positive experience. Justin was great to work with. The artwork was great, and many of the staff offered positive feedback once the first session was done. Currently waiting for my tattoo to heal, and already have my second appointment booked to continue the work. Looking forward to it

I have been pierced many, many times, and at many different shops. This was by far my best piercing experience. Alex was so kind, patient, and professional. I don’t leave reviews often, but I had to share my appreciation. I will definitely be going back and recommend Authentic Arts to anyone who asks (and probably some who don’t).

Sammie replaced my nipple piercings and even worked me into her schedule so i could get my septum pierced too! She did an awesome job, shes very kind, thorough, and doesnt give off that kind of judgey, stuck up piercer vibe that some shops do (u know the type). This was my first time trying a new piercing shop since moving, and i definitely found my new place!

Amanda has been doing my piercings for almost three years, and I was so excited to find out she had moved to Authentic Arts! She always takes the time to make sure everything is sterile and never pierces without warning! She pierced me while she was in training to work here by Alexandra and I could tell they train their employees well. I had a piercing appointment the other day with Alexandra. She was very knowledgeable and so sweet, she also took her time with me and cleaning everything. I came there for a flat piercing and for new jewelry for my lobe piercings. The jewelry display is beautiful, everyone in the shop was so welcoming, i went on my birthday as a present to myself. Everyone there wished me a happy birthday. Would definitely come back for my piercing and tattoo needs.

I went to see their piercing display to buy one and have a tattoo consultation. The host told me to wait until 5:30 (2 hours later ) for only to see the piercings for sale because the lady who do it was busy. I understand, but why they don’t have it on display for the public ? So do you think with this actions on the first impression me coming to the store, do you think i will have a tattoo here ? Absolutely NOT !

Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Tattoo artist Dan Kollmer is an exceptional artist and person! He specializes in black and grey work. He has skillful hands and a meticulous eye. He has great communication skills, which is very important when you want some amazing artwork for life!The photo attached needs to be updated; its the only one I have to post here quickly. I currently have the rest of my sleeve, which is farther along, but still a work in progress, very satisfied! I recommend to anyone who wants quality work with an artist who has an equally cool demeanor!

Dan did such a beautiful job. The entire experience was great all the staff was nice. But Dan did an amazing job on me and my daughters mother daughter tattoos he took the time to listen to what we wanted done and took both of our ideas and combined them into exactly what we wanted. Such clean perfect thin lines. We couldnt be happier

My first experience with Authentic Arts was great. I had been in correspondence with Mikey Tubs via IG regarding a piece I wanted to get done. We set up an appointment and it came out beautiful. Only complaint was that I waited an hour and half past my appointment time for him to finish with another client and clean his area for me.I was so impressed with his work that I knew I wanted to schedule another tattoo with him. I had picked something that I thought was beautiful and he told me he wanted to do something more traditional style which is not my style AT ALL. I told him this and he was very understanding and said he would draw me up what I wanted which was slightly different than the picture I showed him as an example (instead of Lillies, I asked for sunflowers). When I got to the shop for my scheduled appointment, I again had to wait about an hour past my scheduled appointment for him to be finished with his previous client. Then, although he said he would have it drawn up upon my arrival, I had to wait another 30-45 minutes for him to draw up my piece. When he came back with what he had drawn, he did not put the sunflowers in which makes me think 1. he never referred back to our conversation, 2. he did not care. Whatever, did it with the Lillies anyway because it looked beautiful and I am a firm believer in fate, like maybe it wouldnt have looked good with the sunflowers so that is why the universe chose for him to do the Lillies instead of referring back to my request. Anyway, sat in a chair for about 4 hours for an OUTLINE of a piece, costing me 800 dollars plus a super generous tip.After my tattooed healed, I noticed that the lines were bleeding ink into my skin and that some of the thinner lines were almost non existent. I contacted him on October 21st to ask if he could make time for a touch up. After contacting him weekly from October 21 - November 23, and being told that he would check his schedule and get back to me every time I reached out and not getting a response, I was finally told to come in.I got there for my 730PM appointment and AGAIN waited past my scheduled appointment. When approached by Mikey, he asked what the problem was with my tattoo. I indicated that some of the lines were non existent and some were bleeding ink. He responded no they arent and I specifically pointed out the locations. Clearly he was not interested or happy about my arrival or request for help.When he got his chair ready for me, he invited me back. My boyfriend came to the chair with me and Mikey was extremely rude to him, telling him if he doesnt go back to the waiting area hes going to kick us both out. UM WHAT?Okay, so my boyfriend went and sat in his car while Mikey once again rushed through my tattoo, and sitting in silence the entire time. The entire time I noticed how SWEET AND KIND the woman tattooing the girl next to me was, they were laughing, talking, making her feel comfortable. Mikey did not say one work the entire time.So my experience is this: Mikey is rude, unable to be punctual, overpriced, and rushes through work he does not see fitting well into his art portfolios.

Got piercings done with Emmi and she was awesome. The shop was very clean and all the artists were professional and polite. They had a big selection of earrings to pick from and they were reasonably priced. The piercing room was separate from the main tattoo room and it had an autoclave which all the instruments came directly out of. The piercings were quick and painless and Emmi took her time measuring them out to be even. I couldn’t be happier with the way they came out, they look just like the pictures I showed her.

I got my first tattoo done by Rachel, superrrr sweet and rad girl! she was awesome and nice, she held a conversation the whole time too, such a sincere session. I also got tattooed by Amanda, another amazing artist. I go there for all my piercings also. Everyone there is so friendly and honest. Good pricing also! Never going anywhere else for my body mod needs (: (:

Went and got my septum pierced today, SO happy with the results! Everyone there was amazingly sweet. Alex is so professional. She walked me through every step of the process, and how to clean it. Pricing is really fair too! Will be going back for all my piercings in the future.

Been going to Authentic Arts for two years now. I have gotten three tattoos done by Tommy and they all healed and came out amazing... more than I imagined. I love how comfortable and relaxed they make you feel. Tommy always keeps conversation going during the tattooing process. Everyone is super chill and welcoming every time I come in. I also had an issue with my nipple piercing (which was from another shop) and the two piercers at Authentic Arts were extremely helpful with my piercing. They extended my bars for me, gave me tips on how to help it heal and what products to use. Super friendly and made me feel so comfortable when they were changing my bars. 100% recommend anyone to go get tattooed or pierced at Authentic Arts. Favorite shop!!!

My artists name was Mikey and he was the most disrespectful person Ive met in a long time. I had a question about the price of the tattoo, not because it was bad because it was a beautiful peice. He overcharged me for the work he did. Period. Then proceeded to get aggressive towards me. Mikey is a man child whos good at tatting but likes to price gouge. Youve been warned about Mikey. Mans needs a muzzle, cmon man not in the Christmas spirit at all.

They are clean, professional, and friendly. Never made us feel like we weren’t worth their time and effort. Also so great with my 9 year old that wanted his ear pierced last year. Alexandra was amazing with my piercings. I had a nose bump on my nostril for FOUR years from a bad shop, and after letting the piercing close up, I had her repierce it as well as my other nostril too. Its been 6 weeks and both are healing amazingly. I had no idea how easy it could be to heal a piercing after having a janked up one for four years.

This place is AMAZING!!! I had two piercings done by another place and another piercer who did an AWFUL job! Alexandra listened to all my concerns and explained to me what was going on with my two piercings and why they weren’t healing correctly. I don’t write these sorts of things often but I have to give a huge shout out to piercer Sammie. I’ve had to make several visits to her this past week and not once did she make me feel like a burden.She changed my conch stud to a hoop cbr, but then a few days later it felt too tight so she changed it to a larger hoop. Then yesterday on July 4 I knocked the bead out while applying sunscreen to my neck, so today I made a new appointment to get it replaced which she did FOR FREE even though my own carelessness caused it to fall out. So grateful to her for giving me back the piercing of my dreams!!! 😍

If Walk-ins are not welcome, don’t place it on your door and advertisements. We called at 3pm and they told us to come after 6pm. We then waited another hour and a half outside (we had no problem doing so). The guy comes out, gets our designs, and takes them in. They come back with the most outlandish prices (we know that means the artist doesn’t wanna do it). We all have plenty of tattoos and it’s not our first rodeo. The door guy was also worried about the sizing because of the detail. The piece was lines and dots. The artist’s pieces on the website make them seem very talented, so I know that’s not the issue. I don’t wanna waste anyone’s time, so don’t waste mine. We chose this place based on reviews, and I was very disappointed.

Rachel did a tattoo that I thought about getting for years. The lines are precise and unique as it is a signature! She took much care and time into getting every line and detail correctly. Plus fantastic conversation. Highly recommend having this gem of a human tattoo you!

So it was my first tattoo. Annabelle is the artist. She worked with me for a long time on the actual design. She made sure I absolutely loved everything about it and where I wanted it. It hurt a lot and for my first tattoo, I probably squirmed around a bit. But she did a perfect job anyways. It was kinda big, so she did the outline in one session and then the shading in another. And the shading just blew me away. Better then I could have expected. Ill be setting up another appointment this fall for number 2!

Not only did Emmi take the time to examine her ears but she explained why that piercing wouldnt fit right (small ears). She could have done it and just took the money. Worst customer service ever. I stopped in to get a replacement back for one of my piercings and was told I had to wait an hour. I saw the person who pierced me and told her I just needed it back. She acted very put off went to the back and threw up a back but when I looked at it it was too big. I left with my money. Last time I will go.

So far Ive gotten 3 tattoos from Authentic Arts. My 1st ever tattoo was done by the owner Tommy about 2 years ago, a large black deathbat on my chest. It turned out fantastic, exactly what I wanted! My 2nd visit I got a blue jay feather on my right forearm about a year and a half ago, it turned out okay but could have been better, I dont remember the artists name but I do know he no longer works there. My 3rd tattoo was a red feather on my left forearm about 8 months ago, it was done by Sebastian. WOW, thats all I have to say. It turned out amazingly well! The mans a fantastic artist, I brought in a reference photo on my phone and he did the tattoo based right off of that, no stencil. I was VERY impressed with the work!The shop itself has been clean every time Ive gone in, the owner and staff are friendly and they take a lot of pride in their work and their shop. The decor is really nice too. Top notch shop! I will definitely be going back to them for more! Highly recommended, but I do wish they would update their website to show their more recent work, their facebook page is way more useful than the official website.

Tommy did an amazing job turning my ideas and vision into reality, art that I enjoy seeing on my body. It started with a C-section scar; I hated the way it and the way the skin around it looked. The scar will always be there, but now all I see is a beautiful design with flowers and scroll work.I loved the way it came out and how it made me feel so much I decided to have him design a tattoo for my leg. They both perfectly represent exactly what I wanted, the images are clear and all flow together. The lines are perfect and the detail is incredible, even the smallest parts of the bird’s face and feathers are distinct and well defined.If you have an idea for a tattoo and want to work with an artist to turn that into reality, I highly recommend visiting Tommy!

I wanted a tattoo and went in Authentic Arts off of a friends referral. What a mistake. The guy in charge Tom was really unfriendly and made me uncomfortable. I was already nervous getting my first tattoo, so his rugged attitude didnt help. I went elsewhere instead and am happy.

Authentic arts is always my go to place for tattoos, so far I’ve gotten 4 from there and theyre really chill people and they actually make me feel comfortable. All of the artist are equally amazing and thomas will now be my go to for now on. I know some people think they’re pricey but at least the work comes out amazing and thats all that matters.

Tommy is the man! I have gone to him for a sleeve, full chest piece, and will continue to go to him! He is incredibly creative and awesome to work with. Everyone in that shop is awesome. I went to get a tattoo from Tommy and it was an experience Ill regret for the rest of my life. He seriously messed it up. Its bad enough he talks too much during the job, but he also rushes big time. Hes very unapproachable and has a crappy attitude (hes clearly emotionally unstable and throws fits no matter how nice you are). He couldnt care less about the grief hes caused me. Trust me, there are better artists in the area.

Got my tattoo last September.The people were really nice. But the pricing is insane. I got an outline of a tiny heart, less than an inch in length and width, and it costed $100 (the guy gave me a discount since the normal minimum price is a whopping $120). I mean, the thing wasnt even filled in! I took care of it, following their instructions to a T, but the end result was disappointing. The ink bled, so the lines are blurry. Also the outline is uneven, so theres one spot where the line is NOTICEABLY thinner.

Good vibes great artists with a clean relaxed environment!!! The owner Tommy whos work speaks for itself is a true professional at his craft....and stands behind his word as I had a situation, that he went above and beyond to rectify....looking for ink go stop by!!!!

Got a tiny tattoo on my thumb that probably took about 45 seconds to do and was charged $100 because apparently there is a minimum charge, which is understandable but would be nice to know beforehand so i could add another tattoo that adds up to the minimum, must be nice to get paid 100 bucks for 2 mins of work

I was five minutes late, and then once she gave me the price, I realized I didn’t have enough money in my bank account. Then, this woman comes up to me and tells me that I can’t do that to people. First of all I didn’t know how much it was going to be until that very moment, and they were being rude to me the moment I stepped into that building. So unprofessional.
