Peggys Temporary & Permanent Tattoos

We got here Thursday and stopped by to schedule my appointment for Saturday. The atmosphere is definitely family friendly and the shop was really clean and decorated nicely. I had a seashell design I requested and Russell did a great job! No complaints…good people. The gray and white photo is reference I showed him and the right is how it came out!! He has amazing line work.

My family and I absolutely loved this place. We went there while on our family summer vacation. This shop allowed all of our children inside and they were so sweet to our kids, answering all of their many questions. They did awesome permanent jewelry, henna tattoos, as well as permanent tattoos. My brothers and I got tattooed in honor of our Pops.( Hes still alive) but we got the same tattoo that he has on his arm. He got his when he was in the Navy, back in the 50s in Guam. Sergio is awesome and very patient, and did an amazing job. This place rocks.

As a walk in at 11pm, Sergio did a great job! We came in with simple ideas that were beautifully and carefully crafted. He kept his work space clean, and made the moment memorable as he laughed along with our jokes. I have also had a piercing done here as well, and it was a simple and easy process. The girls were very welcoming and explained the process in the detail and what to expect. I recommend.

Walked in with ideas and walked out extremely happy! Russell and Sergio made our visions come to reality. Very cool dudes that made this experience easy! Highly recommend

Sergio is the man! I walked in with my sister on a visit to South Padre Island wanting a tattoo of my cat’s paw print. He worked me in that same day and made it happen. It was my first tattoo, we just talked the whole time and he made me feel great about everything. 10/10 will go back if we visit again!

Sergio, made my dream come true when he tatted my arm with a prayer my Father wrote one day before his passing back in like 2003 or so. I held that piece of paper in my wallet all this time. Sergio nailed it. Exactly like my dads original writing. Thanks Sergio. Atmosphere was great too, great vibe. Polite & friendly employees. Forever grateful.

My BFF and I got our birth month flower tattoos with Russell and Sergio. They got us in right away, before we chickened out, and they were so nice and made these two old ladies very happy customers!

We stopped in on our last day of vacation. My son got a tattoo, and I got my nose pierced. They did an excellent job. They have so many services and so much to shop for! We will definitely be back next time.

Peggys is a monument of the beach. Its been there for ages and changing with the times. Everything was great and very clean, clean, clean.. The only thing is the girls need to learn how to airbrush. They air bursh too close and create runs. Then they say its the product . But, everyone knows paint runs when u spray to close.. regardless of use. Happy Health to all.. 4ever S.P.I..

This is my 2nd year coming here while on vacation. Everyone in the shop is super nice and very chill. I got a henna tattoo again. They are very clear with care instructions and the henna will last 2-3 weeks depending on the placement.

My sisters and I got henna there and it turned out really great. They offer henna (brown) and Jagua (black). Mine is the black one and it starts off light after you wash it offer but then turns dark. They offer decent prices of $20 + for hundreds of different designs. The artists were nice and helpful!

Have had THE BEST experiences with this Island gem!! Very professional and super clean environment. My friends and I love their large selection of beautiful permanent jewelry. It’s a great thing to do together with your girlfriends. Also recently pierced my ears and they did a perfect job! Love the long time owners and their contributions they make to our Island community. I got my septum and belly button done. She is a phenomenal piercer who told me every step of the process and made sure I was happy with the outcome. I will absolutely be coming back for more piercings!

No problem here we came in and came out my sister got her henna tattoo and I got my pericing. It was quick painless and the woman working there was so sweet and kind explained how to clean and take care of the piercing and the lady working the henna was quick and precise. I went in because it is such a cute shop, but then saw all the cool things to shop for, and had to get the permanent jewelry! I got three beautiful bracelets that I love and I’m glad I get to wear every day! I highly recommend whether you want a tattoo, a gift, jewelry, or many other things, Peggy is a great place to shop !!

I’m very disappointed in my experience! Upon reviewing on Google the place looked great and I loved the hena tattoos that were posted. My mom went in for a hena tattoo and the experience wasn’t it for us. We payed $40 + tip ( which is reasonable when someone’s time art and effort is put into something CORRECTLY!) the tattoos was so sloppy! Like the talent was there but it was as if the women was so lazy to do the tattoo for us and the other ppl in line. When walking out my mom hit her arm and smudged the tattoo ( that’s on us we know ) my mom went in and asked if the Part messed up could be wiped off or fixed and little and the lady made her feel straight up DUMB! She kept asking well why did you hit it and how could u let this happen in a sarcastic and undermining tone. I could see if she was upset if she put some much time and effort into the piece and we messed it up but she didn’t… she literally took 5 mins with my mom. The lack of professionalism from her was disappointing. I could understand if she kindly told us that there was nothing they could do since we messed it up but instead she was rude.I must say however!!! The lady at the front desk was very very very nice and handled herself well with a big crowd came in and the phone was ringing like crazy!

As always, I check reviews before I get something permanent. When looking at this site and all the great reviews, then several 1 star reviews within 2 days time, it made it easy to discount as it seemed strange and opportunistic. Boy am I glad I disregarded those! I had the best experience! Russell was outstanding! I have several tattoos and I can honestly say this piece is my favorite! Will certainly visit again next time I am on the island. Job well done Peggys Tatoos!!

I got my first 2 tattoos with Sergio and he was AMAZING! He was so patient, very easygoing, and made it a great experience! Not to mention I got EXACTLY what I wanted and he was more than willing to take the time to get it right and make sure it was perfect for me!! + such clean tiny lines

I got my first tattoo done here, I was so nervous. But, Russell really made me feel comfortable and I appreciate that so much. I really like how he made sure I was happy with what I wanted. I would definitely go see to him again when I go back to South padre.

Visited for a henna tattoo and it turned out beautiful! Detailed aftercare instructions were given. I deducted a star because it’s cash only, although there’s an ATM on-site you can use that charges $3.95. Overall good experience.

Please do not go here for a septum piercing. These reviews about the piercer are legit. Unfortunately I didnt read reviews until after. The lady did a horrible job! My septum is badly uneven and looks horrible. It looked fine the first day but as swelling went down it got to be more and more noticeable. She should not be doing piercings. The other 3 ladys I went with got tattoos with Russell he did great work on them. I regret not just getting a tattoo that day.

In love with my permanent anklet! Me and my friend each walked in a got one. The process was very thorough and they make sure you are happy with where it sits, might rub, and so forth.Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again for another service!

The workers were very very friendly and made the experience a lot less stressful. I got my nose done but I can’t remember the mm of the ring. We got several different services today at Peggy’s and every experience was great. We got the infinity bracelets and anklets, our children got temporary tattoos, and Sergio and Russell did some amazing permanent ink for myself and my husband 5 stars all around!

Came to Peggy’s to get my nose pierced! I was really nervous upon arrival, but that quickly changed after meeting Joanne!! She was SO FRIENDLY! Made me feel like I was already her friend. Told me jokes and made me laugh. The piercing didn’t hurt at all when she did it and I am VERY happy with it! Thank you Joanne!Most of the other people working here were friendly as well! Sergio did my friends ankle tattoo. These guys were awesome and funny as well! I’ll have my friend do a review for him as well!

Sergio did a good job with my tattoo. Kinda disappointed because we scheduled our appointment to be with Russell and they changed our artist to Sergio last minute. Sergio was still awesome though. Also wish I didn’t have to pay $80 for a tiny heart smaller than my finger nail, but overall good experience.

Me and my husband got our tattoos for our honeymoon here. Sergio is extremely thorough and so kind and polite! Russel is fast yet still did a beautiful job! Absolutely in love with our new ink.

So it was overall a nice experience and everyone there was nice but when it came to actually getting my ear pierced ( i got my conch) it was totally in the wrong place. She marked it in the correct spot and everything and it looked fine but when i got up to look at it afterwards it was no where near where she marked and u cant even tell its supposed to be a conch piercing. Its non refundable which isnt the problem but i paid 65$ for a messed up piercing.

My daughter and I got matching tattoos while on vacation. The shop was clean and bright. The staff was helpful and friendly. Sergio was the wonderful artist that did our tattoos. We got them on the top of our feet, which hurts a little bit and there was some twitching involved. He was personable, easygoing, and very patient. And they came out beautifully.

Had a girls trip and decided to get tattoos. We looked up local shops and Peggys had great proof of work. We went in made appointments for a few days later. We came in for our appointments all staff was super friendly and the place is clean. However my tattoo is horrible! I had a picture of what I wanted. Sergio drew it up. I was apprehensive about the flowers he drew up. Sergio told me it would not look like that once all the detail work was done. Not true. There is absolutely no detail just blobs on my leg. It was pretty expensive for what I got. Now I will go to my local shop have it fixed and be out even more. Not even sure yet that they wont have to just cover it. The other 3 girls had different artists and theirs were simple and look great!

Sergio did my tattoo and I could not be happier with the quality or the personalities of all the employees in the facility! I came in with an idea (arrows with my kids names through it), showed the picture to Sergio and BAM he came up with something even better than the picture I had! My kids came to get piercings and henna tattoos and got to watch and he engaged them in conversation and jokes. All staff were friendly and on point! Love the laid back vibe where I felt like I could be myself! I was given after care information verbally at the counter and a paper with aftercare instructions prior to getting the tattoo as well as verbally after the tattoo. If you’re on the island and want a tattoo definitely check out Sergio and Russell at Peggy’s! My girls were nervous about their piercings but Flor made them feel comfortable and didn’t rush them into doing it. And I apologize I don’t know the name of the lady who did my son’s henna tattoo but he absolutely loves it and I think it turned out amazing! Thank you all! Bonus**** my son is super proud that Sergio signed his cast!

I got my first and second Tattoo here as well as a my septum pierced! Sergio wasn’t just a really cool dude he made my first tattoo experience great and I’d really love to go back to him! 10/10 recommend him. The other staff was very helpful and friendly as well as professional. Flor did a super good job on my septum, she made sure I was doing alright and made the piercing go by super fast. Do not come do business with these people. They are bully’s and got a great tattoo artist removed because they felt threaten by her and her amazing art. Instead of the owner siding with her as she was the one being bullied by these two “male artists” they let her go. Take your business elsewhere especially if you are a woman. How dare you treat her like that.

I was visiting south padre with my family and I just really wanted a tattoo we couldn’t find a place at first but another beach place recommended Peggy’s so we went and it was so packed, that’s a good sign we talked to a guy Sergio and he was really nice, he recommended we come the night before we leave the beach so it doesn’t get infected and what not so we came the next day, and Russell did my tattoo and he was the best! He made us feel comfortable and we laughed a lot my tattoo came out so beautiful especially for the beach! I really appreciate it and I’m in love! We will for sure be back on our next vacation!!

Got a simple and small wave tattoo with my wife and daughter, its a sentimental family thing. The staff was very professional and helpful and the entire business was very clean and sterile. Our artist did an awesome job. My youngest decided to get another set of piercings on her upper ear lobe and they were very accommodating for her even though she didnt have an appointment. If you need some vacation ink or a piercing Peggys is the place to go.

We had a great experience while visiting this shop. It’s clean, relaxed and the staff is friendly. Sergio did mine and my daughters tattoos. He’s super chill. With it being my daughters first tattoo, he made her experience a positive one. Russell did my husbands tattoo and he was also cool af. I’ve been to other shops in my hometown and have never walked out with 100% what I asked for. I LOVE my tattoo and hope to visit again the next time we vacation in Padre.

Russell Woods was one of the most personable and patiently understanding artist when working on two tattoos for my daughter.I had a great experience on the first piercing.It was fast in the correct place and straight before I knew what happened. So I had to get the other side done also, I should say it is the interior cartilage, and had the same type of experience and still no infection and the pain and swelling have almost gone after the first week.Thank you to the whole hangover at Peggys Tattoos.

Absolutely amazing! Me and my wife got tattoos by Alondra. She is great and we will definitely be going back to her on our next visit from Minnesota. Our 4 girls got henna tattoos by Frankie and they turned out beautiful as well. My husband and I dropped in to get tiny vacay tats and a henna tat for our daughter. Rain handled the henna and he did an amazing job being patient and skilled with his 11 yr old client. Sergio handled the real ink for my husband and I. I gotta say he has a really light touch and did a fantastic job. We got behind the ear tats and neither of us felt a thing really. The art is fantastic and my hubbys was even a coverup of a very old faded tat. His was a sea turtle and mine was a cute hermit crab. Super highly recommended. Whole staff was kind and knowledgeable.

Got dermal piercings with Liz ! She was very professional , she made me feel comfortable! She explained the aftercare to me! The dermals are doing amazing with the healing process! I have literally had zero problems with the piercings! They do not hurt I can clean them and feel no pain! She even asked my days later if everything was ok with them and I’ve never had anyone reach out to me like that before! I definitely will be returning for more piercings ❤️

When Sergio first did the stencil.. I didn’t much like it but he said it wouldn’t look like that in the end. And he was right! My tattoo is AMAZING!!!!! I love it!!! And I can’t wait to show my mom so she can give me a good a$$ whooping!!! It’s was all worth it! Book with Sergio! He got me in the same day!!!!! Recommend if your in SPI

I went and got a henna tattoo after reading the other reviews about this place, and I was absolutely not disappointed! They have a very wide variety of designs and things to pick through and anyone can find something they like. The prices are a little more expensive than you would find at a little stand or shop somewhere else, but it’s so worth it. They don’t use stencils and the work is still impeccable. The atmosphere is very friendly and open and the three of us that got tattoos were in and out in thirty minutes. It’s very professional and clean. I wish I could remember her name, but the woman who gave us tattoos was training to be a tattoo artist if I remember correctly and she was very talented and very professional with her work. 10/10 would come again! I went to a cheaper shop last year and it was nowhere near as nice, clean, fast, or reliable. It was an overall amazing experience.

Me and the wife have been going to into tattoo places randomly for some time now . Looking for the right person to do a tattoo.. We met Russell. In short we both ended up getting work done.We are both very happy with our result!

I obtained Covid at this facility and literally almost died. I drove over an 2 hours to get pierced by this “great” facility. It was a complete nightmare. After I called and told them they needed to sanitize the facility before piercing anyone else, they just hung up on me. I spent over $350 on my septum piercing and my nipple piercings and the woman working with me was horrible. All three of piercings are crooked too. She didn’t even ask if I liked the placement and she didn’t even wear gloves. She was on the phone the whole time and smelled like alcohol. After looking at the work she did I told her it was crooked and as I wiped away my tears I noticed she was in flip flops and her feet were so dirty. She literally just stood there in silence. I just walked out in disbelief because I knew I wasn’t getting anywhere with her. So good luck.

Russell is the best. I live in Illinois and I will fly all the way back 2 South Padre Island to get Russell to do more work for me. Russell you are amazing. Never once did I have scarring running of ink the most professional tattoo. He will have my business forever. He took a small why do I had and turned it into a beautiful peace

If I could go lower on my rating I would leave no stars. I went in for a tattoo. I called before to verify they accept walk ins, they did. So I go in, check in, get told to go to the tattoo artist in the back. Greg or Jeff or something idk because he never even looked at me let alone tattooed me. I stood there 15 minutes then asked the lady at the front to address the un professional situation. Bottom line no tattoo worthless experience. Sad since I really like Peggys but never again.Sorry youre sadly mistaken. There were two other people with me and Sergio said nothing. Thank you again for no assistance. Next time make sure the person doesnt have others in attendance.😆 owner responded then pulled there response*****This is the second snarky response I have received from the owner. Since Im an adult ill stop here. Thanks again for nothing at a piece of work of a shop. They were perfect! Husband got a tattoo, in record time, very clean work and exactly what we asked for. I had henna and piercing and was pleased with both. Friendly, clean, bright, and not noisy or gritty like a lot of shops.

Arrived to get a tattoo and was able to be scheduled in the next day and was not let down by the artist Sergio. He was not only able to take care of me and my wife in a timely manner but also went above and beyond on the tattoos he gave us. This place is well know for the shop and has a lot of history on the island, not a fly by night ownership. Sandy is the sweetest and most helpful/professional lady! She goes above and beyond to meet your needs, I cant ask for more when I comes to customer service!The place is super clean and employees are very well organized with great attitudes. They have more to offer than tattoos and piercings. They do henna, e-cig accessories, and steal jewelry.Now when it came to Tattooing Mr. Ron is the top dude! His color and lines are 100%. He enjoys doing this and making it an awesome experience for you, also he talks with you the whole time so you dont feel any awkwardness. He gave step by step instructions what to do when it came to treating my new masterpiece.Im glad to know he is working for a great place and that the island has him to offer. I had a good experience in this shop! I got a nose piercing done and it was my first piercing ever, so I was pretty nervous. The whole procedure was very quick, and it helped my nerves a lot! The lady who did my piercing talked me through the piercing, which I liked a lot. You get to confirm the placement of the piercing before they do it, too. The employees were friendly and I like the way the shop looks -- very welcoming vibe. I only have one question since it was never listed anywhere (or at least maybe I missed it if it was written somewhere): what material is your jewelry made of? I got a nose screw with a gem inside of it. Thanks for your help!

Piercings!! I got 4 piercings here during two-weeks. I got an eyebrow piercing, nose piercing, cartilage piercing, and last but not least snake bites! Service was great, and it was super fast as well. Definitely will return. Recommend this place as well!

Had my second earlobe piercings done back in May of 2021, and they still have yet to heal… when they are only supposed to take 6 weeks. The staff was nice and so was the girl that helped me out, however I should have known better. When going to pierce my ears, she used a piercing gun and not a sterile needle.Then, on one of my ears the gun became stuck and was hard to get out. Because of this my left ear constantly gets filled with pus and blood and is facing inward and not outward like my other ear. I’m very disappointed, I have a cartilage piercing and I never had this much trouble with it as I am having even today with these piercings.

Really lame experience, especially for a place that has been around so long. The people who worked there seemed uninterested in helping us and wanted to watch their TV show and lie down playing with their belly button ring more. We were there on a marriage retreat and got temporary tattoos for fun on our date night. The girl who did them with the jagua was very bad at her job. They were poorly drawn and crooked. Not at all the experience I expected, especially after paying nearly $100 for the service.Reply: We were there this Saturday 11-6-21 around 9ish, I dont remember the names of any of the three girls who were there.

I got my tattoo from Russell, and he was amazing! He made me feel comfortable and he was so creative with my tattoo. I love his work, and I highly recommend this as a fun, casual place to get your tattoo!

We came down to SPI for our daughters first vacation, and decided to get her ears pierced here. Best choice I made! I called a week before and the girl on the phone I can’t remember her name was so nice to me and answered very question I had before bringing my baby in! She recommended we come in the last day of our vacation since new piercings cannot go in pools or the ocean. When we got there Frankie was so kind and helpful, helped us pick a beautiful set of studs small enough for a baby. When I expressed my anxiety for this since I knew my daughter would cry, Frankie reassured me that “we can all cry here it’s okay” she was so sweet and took her time making even dots for the piercings and was so careful with my girl moving to look at her every time 😂 at the end they even gave her a certificate for being a super brave kid! Frankie was so great, after a little crying my daughter passed out cold for the night! I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the service here. I will always recommend Peggys Tattoos & Frankie to anyone I know coming to SPI!

Very rude and not helpful at all. I had an issue with my nose piercing stud that i had just got there and came back in and someone else was there having the same issue. We both had to buy a whole other piercing. There is not many places here to get pierced or tattooed but i definitely just recommend you do it elsewhere that’s how rude these ladies were.

Went in on the last day of my vacation to get my septum after wanting it for years. loved it at first, then started to notice more and more things wrong with the placement. i got an opinion from another piercer and they said it was pierced in the wrong spot.i dont want to bash anybody, but the piercer herself didn’t really say much. I wasn’t told the size of the jewelry, and i was just told to wash it twice a day with no further instruction. i was recommended to take it out by another piercer. very bummed.

I took my daughter to get a henna a few weeks ago while we were staying on SPI. She loved it! Franky (I think was her name) helped us out. She was great! Friendly. Professional. Very helpful. They use natural henna, which is what I was looking for. Highly recommend the henna at Peggy’s.

I just visited South Padre island and before I left I stopped by Peggys and got tattoo by Russell and Henna tattoo and I love them both... They were very professional and friendly people... When I visit again I will be going back for more henna tattoo and tattoos. Do this activity on the last day of your stay on the South Padre Island.

If you need a new tat and some old school conversation, go see Russell. I dropped by late in afternoon and discussed what I wanted. He drew it up and next day did an awesome job. Sergio is a dam good hand he knocked my forearm tattoo out the park I talked to him the day before we left and wanted to get some work done and he was very straight up with me and told me to wait for the day I leave or the night before so the sand or anything don’t mess up the work and I kinda was like well maybe next time and yeah I can respect that and and glad I did listen I came back the night before we left and he did everything and then some and had a very light hand and definitely put in the work didn’t rush it and was even whiling to cut it short but yeah in my profession u do it right or not at all and man I can’t wait to send him the piece for my back tat my wife ended up stoping by and getting her nose pierced and yes they where very informational about everything hands down the best experience

Wyomjng folks looking to watch the Buffalo Bills game. Had 3 teenagers with us. The sports bar bartenders were very helpful and drinks and food were excellent. Had a great game experience and the cost was more than reasonable. Dont hesitate, this is a good place to go.

I have had work done across US 1st time they wanted not only deposit but all monies up front. I visited with so called artist couple days in advance told him what I wanted showed pictures asked if he drew up stencil or what he needed. By 3 days he could not even begin to remember what I had talked about did NO preps work. Needless to say canceled appointment and left this place TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Save your money and pain.

Looooooved it here! SERGIO was nothing short of amazing!! While on vacation, I got a tattoo for my daughters and I showed him a pic and he was so quick to recreate it and add to it!! I feel as if I have a fairly lower pain tolerance and it didn’t hurt at all. He was GREAT to chat with and does some badass work!! If I didn’t live 13 hours away I’d make him my permanent tattoo artist!!

She did a great job but was rude when ask for a cross design respond there ever where and didn’t help me look for onewas very like leave me alone not a people person at all and then told me I need to wait till Sunday to get because I can’t be in water or sun wish I understand why but she could bin a little nicer abut it

Got my first tat by the man russel. He made me feel very comfortable with getting it. And he was also a cool down to earth type of guy who’s cool to make conversation with. He helps take your mind off the fact that you’re getting a tattoo.

If you worked there for 5 yrs and she is getting more clients thats on you especially being there for so long u should have a reputation a good one I would guess instead a young women gets fired for stealing clients for being pretty.

BEWARE! This place will screw you if they get the chance. The staff is rude and completely irrational. If theres a problem they refuse to let you speak with the owner. They claim to have a no refund policy that is clearly stated in the contract but if you read the contract it actually states that they will refund your money and keep the $20 deposit. When confronted with this they acted completely obtuse. They even called the cops on my friend for calmly disputing their contract. Of course, the cops agreed with my friend and what was stated in the contract but that made no difference. They still would not give her the money back. Im sure theyre aware that the only way to get your money back is to take them to civil claims court which would only cost you more than the refund is even worth. The staff are terrible humans who take advantage of their customers. STAY AWAY!

Then got to meet the man with a great smile and excellent personality - Russell. Went back that night to be tatted. Great touch, great artist, excellent chairside manner. I can see myself returning my next vacation to SPI.

Oh how I wish there was an option to give no stars!I went in there with my 3 daughters for a full hand henna designs total-243 bucks, OK I was willing to pay that. I give the lady my credit card and she swipes it and I sign and I sit to wait my familys turn.This lady brings me an old slip where they take a scrape image of your card, and asks me to sign it, I looked at her and said didnt I already sign this Ober there for the electronic copy? She says yeah and this is something the owners (how is probably scamming every tourist in this town) asks us to do.I looked at her and said NO. IM NOT AUTHORIZING YOU TO TAKE ANOTHER 200 BUCKS OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. well everybody has to do this for over 200.I told her call the owner Im not doing this.She called the owners crooked ass and while Im talking to her, her jail house son starts to make rude comments even going as far as saying Im fat.Please DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. THEY ARE THE RUDEST CROOKED CROOKS ON THIS ISLAND. WE WILL MAKE IT OUR PERSONAL GOAL FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW CROOKED AND NASTY THESE PEOPLE ARE. they do not deserve your hard earned money LET THEM GO HUNGRY AND THEIR BUSINESS Dwindle.

Got my first henna tattoo at Peggy s And it was the worst $27 dollars Ive ever spent. The lines were all crooked the dimensions were not even close to being equal in size. I feel stupid for paying that much for an ugly design to be placed on my body. I asked for it to be redone after the first design came out crooked and then Flor the henna designer told me well its Kuz you had your hand crooked. Im sorry but it is the tattoo artist duty to educate the customer as to how to place the body part in order to get the best result. Instead of just caring for the money and doing it however. If I could give this place a zero rating I would and place the picture of the god awful job that was done. Cruddy af.

I got a tattoo a few months ago because the reviews were great but my experience was really weird. The guy rubbed deodorant on my arm and then free handed what I didn’t really want over the deodorant with sharpie then tried rubbing it off because the ink wasn’t cooperating because of the deodorant.... then the healing process wasn’t normal it got a bit infected and then to top it off it looks like someone wrote on my arm with a crappy pen... 80$ down the drain for this one. Don’t know how to share the pics of my tat.I don’t remember his name maybe Sergio? Idk he told me he was homeless lolMy last name is AbregoHe was cool and all but very jittery at that time , maybe just bad timing for me. I got it sometime in late February

Ron may be an acceptable tattoo artist but he is rude, and does not listen to what the client wants. My tattoo looks fine but he was so hateful to me I wont go back. It is not the size or location I wanted.

In my opinion, raul was very rude and highly unproffesional. He was walking around the shop barefoot and the bottom of his feet were black. His attitude was very insulting and his ego reminded me of Donald trumps. He acts and speaks very highly of himself but his work is mediocre at best. He claims to have been tattooing for 20 years, but if hes so talented why doesnt he have his own shop yet? I will not be returning to, or recommending this shop, just because of raul.: In response to the Owners response :I told my friends and family about the very unprofesional interview/ experience I had at Peggys. Their overall response was that raul most likely saw me as a threat. Which isnt surprising ; If I was the head artist at a shop, ... and I was dressed and groomed like a vagrant, barefoot, and conducting a job interview, (for the owner), ...I probably wouldnt want to hire a clean cut guy, whos work tramples that of my own, either. But I wouldnt be unprofessional about it. Rauls unprofessional behavior, work attire, personal hygiene and attitude, would not be tolerated where Im from. And yes, the bottom of Rauls bare feet were black, when he was conducting the interview. I dont know if it was because of the dirt, or spilled ink, Im not suggesting anything, but seriously, thats just gross and unprofessional. Your head artist of 20 plus years experience, whos full of himself, needs further training, to politely say the least. Maybe you should send him to a tattoo school, where at the very least, he can learn why its important to wear shoes in a tattoo shop. Whats the owners response to that? Heres a tip/ common sense, be polite, courteous, and professional, and you will always have positive reviews. Got a tattoo less then 2 weeks ago, colors are not even... (half the tat is bright and the other looks like he didnt put enough ink) Ill have to pay someone else to touch up. Stay away from these amateurs!! Save your money for the pros!! Not happy with outcome...

I got a henna tattoo and I love its black and at first I was curious because they were averting black henna and I heard that some places it is not FDA approved so I asked and it is ALL homemade henna and they told me what was in it to good customers serves I live this place definitely coming back

Their tattoos are overpriced their piercings stuff Aftercare is overpriced they try to say theres soap is the best for $10 you can find cheaper stuff down the street for a dollar any antibacterial soap should never cost more than really a dollar I walked in acting like I didnt know Anythink I was there for a tattoo the lady up front couldnt give me a price for how much for a tattoo coming to come back later to talk to the artist then later on I came back and was watching the artist do is set up they were not cleaning very well before a tattoo or after I saw them do a setup with no gloves awesome I did not see them spray cavicide on any of the sittings flat surfaces area very unprofessional and unsterilized also they were not giving out Aftercare sheets on how to do a tattoo or piercing I can totally tell that this shop is just to rip Taurus is off save your money and get a tattoo in your hometown
