Mandi was amazing, calm cool collective informatative. And did an great job, even put a charm my hubby bought for me on it. Although a touch pain to put the charm on fully fully worth it.Little back story I had it pierced once before but the pericer messed up an only half of it healed right. Again thank you thank you so much for making my experience a great one.

Everyone was super nice and the whole thing was very quick (about 15 minutes in and out!). Mandi was very calm and friendly and seemed very confident. The jewelry was a little more expensive than I thought it would be, but not unreasonable. All in all, great experience :)

I love the flowers on a vine tattoo that Bailey did for me over an unsightly vein. She is very good, not only as a gifted artist, but also listens and is willing to make any modifications or tweaks if need be. I am so happy that I chose her. I highly recommend!

I just got a tattoo with Bailey for the first time this week and loved it! This was my first time at Anchors End as well, the shop was clean and the atmosphere/vibes were great it was filled with nothing but laughs. This was my first time meeting the other artist as well and we had conversations as if we have know each other for a long time, that’s how easy going and nice/friendly everybody was in the shop. It was a pleasure working with Bailey and was even able to talk to her about future work I’m looking to get done and what her thoughts were and how to go about it. I look forward to working with Bailey in the future and stopping back at Anchors End :) I highly recommend.

I came in for my 40th bday and Will was up to the challenge of covering my Betty Boop tattoo up with my raven. I’m extremely happy with it and can’t say enough about the friendly staff and the artists here!! Everything a shop should be!

My friends and I decided to get tattoos and were able to get in right away! The shop was clean, the staff were good to work with, and the price was pretty good. Two of us had Will and one of us had Bailey and we all left happy with our tattoos. I had previously been to the Hudson location and was just as impressed with this location!

Bailey has been working on my sleeve over multiple sessions (to accommodate my work schedule). She is professional and so very talented. She’s never made me feel bad about needing a break or to stretch and she creates beautiful works of art. While I have a bit more left on the sleeve, I know I will be returning to her for many more tattoos in the future as well. Overall the shop in Stillwater has good vibes and is very clean. I’ve been seeing Donald for 6+ years and he always knocks it out of the park. He’s super personable and great to talk to and my tattoos always turn out beautiful every time. I can go to him and say “I want a tattoo do whatever you want” and he nails it every time. Highly highly recommend. The environment of the shop is chill too and it’s super clean!

We are visiting from Florida for the holidays and my 16 year old wanted her lip pierced as a gift . Mandi was great . Very very thorough and explained every step to my daughter and put her at ease . As a mom I felt very comfortable with the whole process . The shop is very nice and clean and everyone was very nice and friendly.I highly recommend this location. Maybe we will be back on our next visit to Stillwater.

Starting my new sleeve with Will. This is a very clean friendly environment. Nick at the front desk was so friendly, and welcoming right when I walked in. I listened to him on the phone for the 5 hours I was there and he always was polite and friendly no matter the clientele. Jesse and Joe own the shop and I met Jesse while I was there he is super friendly and helpful.Will is the artist I chose for this 10 year in the making sleeve. He is patient, listens to what I want and helped walk me through a few technical things I didnt think of. I am so excited for the finished product, but understand that the amount of sessions to complete this is very necessary. Saturdays are reserved for walk ins so if you are looking to get something small Saturday is your day. They have locations in Riverfalls, Hudson, and Stillwater. They also have a location in Duluth for up north people which I have also been too when I lived there.

Mandy did a great job with our 15 year-old daughters second ear piercing. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and she takes her time to explain what shes doing so youre comfortable throughout the process. The procedure is very sterile and they make sure youre ready at every step. The woman at the front desk (Im sorry I forget her name) was equally friendly and helpful; she assisted Mandy in the piercing. We couldnt recommend a better place. Thank you!

My regular artist was out of town and I just needed this tattoo so badly after the passing of my husband a couple days before. I had never heard anything bad about them and the tattoo is simple so I gave them a shot. Kole did my tattoo and it turned out exactly as I wanted. It is perfectly even. As its healing I cant see a single shaky or blown out line. It is perfect. I cant thank him enough! He kept everything clean. Changed gloves very often. Had a very light touch that didnt hurt at all. Made sure I was happy with it every step of the way. I would highly recommend him!

Great place to get some ink. Everything is super clean. Both times Ive been here the Tattoos have healed really quick with no problems. I cant wait to go back.

We stopped in for a piercing and ended up getting 3 tattoos. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helped draw up designs exactly how we liked it. The piercing went perfectly and the tattoos are amazing, Will you really nailed it!!! I have already been recommending you guys and I only got home an hour ago. Got my second set of ear piercings here by Dani and it was a great experience. She made sure I was comfortable, explained everything she was doing and honestly it was pretty much painless and SO quick. Healing has been a breeze. I’m tempted to go back and get more :)

Walked in a couple times to meet with Will about some artwork I wanted and he was great. Ended up getting a walk-in appointment on a recent Saturday around 10:00 a.m., and he was cordial and did a great job on the piece. Highly recommended, everyone there is super friendly and they are great artists.

I had my tatoo done at least 20 years ago by Joe. Worked on the art in Stillwater and had it done in Duluth. One of my happy places and shorter wait time. It is still beautiful and I get compliments all the time. Color is still bright and I still love it. Hoping to get a complimentary one of a compass roseto soon to mark another milestone in

Had Will as my artist, he did a fantastic job, great line work and all around very friendly and funny. Definitely will show up again for more tattoos!

My first piercing there and got an industry done by Mandy. 1st off very friendly, personal & educated on her craft. Allowing me to feel comfortable and at easy. She made everything literally painless.

Bailey did a fantastic job. I came in with a small but difficult touch up on one of my existing tattoos. I had three other shops reject it and she was willing to take it on. She communicated her concerns and made sure to set realistic expectations and then proceeded to blow those expectations out of the water. Great job. I appreciate you taking it on!

Great shop, great people. Very clean, and real pros. Cassie did my ink and she is a phenomenal artist, and listening to the other artists there was a treat... not only are they good at what they do, they take it seriously and wont just slap anything on anyone.

Took my teenager to Dani to get her ears pierced. She was super kind with her, and very helpful with her clear aftercare instructions. Would highly recommend. Parking is a nightmare downtown, so leave early for your appointment to be punctual!

I 100% recommend Dani. She is the upmost sweetest person that I have ever had when it comes to piercings and tattoos. She took her time and gave me the cutest belly button piercing and I am so happy with the results. She’s also very open to conversation which I’ve definitely struggled with in the past when getting a piercing or tattoo and my experience sometimes was just very awkward. She also definitely knows what she is doing. She is very professional at her job. If anyone is looking for any type of piercing I highly recommend Dani at anchors end in Stillwater. She definitely has all five stars. Plus she also remembered me from the last time I went in to try to get my bellybutton pierced and some of my tattoo artist don’t even remember who I am half the time so I really did appreciate it. My husband & I stopped here while in town on vacation. We had never gotten a tattoo before and brought them a vague idea of what we wanted. Jessie took our ideas and made them a reality. Her attention to detail was incredible and she made sure the design was exactly what we wanted. We are thrilled with our results and our entire experience! We will gladly make the 4+ hour drive from our hometown to get our next tattoos!

I was looking for a shop that could get me in right away, my 8 year old niece died suddenly and I wanted to get a Camellia flower done on my wrist before her funeral. Not only was I delighted to find out that they do walk ins only on Saturday’s (the day I called!) but the artist that booked me, Scot, was VERY talented! My tattoo is clean, bright, and EXACTLY what I wanted! I will def look to Scot again in the future for more ink!! So happy with my experience and results! Great job Scot!!❤️🙏🏼👍🏼

I took my daughter here back in 2018 to get her first tattoo. We now are on year 3 of doing this together. Jesse is the artist we have and had and love all of her work. I would highly recommend her!! Very friendly and definitely makes you laugh through the pain. I’m now bringing my sister and her daughter with for our next tattoo adventure in a few weeks. Seems like all four of us want more than two each. 💚

Slipped in on a Saturday for a walk-in with Will without anything specific in mind and left with plans to return soon. 5 stars are not enough for the quality of work that Will did. His lines are TIGHT, the detail 🤌🏼. The general vibe of the shop is welcoming, laid back & mutually supportive of each other. The overall experience was great. Thank YOU Will.

I got tattooed by Will Penton. This man is first class. Not only is his work absolutely breath taking, but his demeanor and care are second to none. This was my first tattoo and I was going to be spending 8 hours getting it done. I woke up in the morning nauseous because I was SO nervous. When I sat down with Will, that all faded away and I genuinely enjoyed chilling and getting tatted all day with the whole staff. Top notch work, great atmosphere, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Will was astounding. With a basic vision of my desire to honor my children and my hopes for their ability to impact the world combined with my desire to make the obvious less obvious- he created something amazing- and my son at 18, and I nearing 50 got our first tats together… and we are thrilled- I have no idea how other artists work but this experience was phenomenal.

Jessie did an amazing job on my tattoo. She not only accommodated my wants but also put her own flare and style into it and it looks unique and beautiful. Much appreciated and will be back to see her.

My brothers and I went to get a tattoo in honor of our other brother that passed away. Bailey and Cassie were incredibly. Their work was in impeccable and the empathy they showed us was amazing. We will be going back there for more ink!

Three of us went in for walk-in tattoos for a bachelorette party. We all just wanted something small & simple. The staff were ungrateful and downright rude to us almost immediately. Right away, we did not feel welcome there. One of the staff appeared inebriated. Very low-quality customer service. We will not be returning.

I scheduled my appointment months in advance. The artist Kole, told me he would draw it up and I would be able to see it the day of my appointment and we could make adjustments then. I talked to him two times leading up to my appointment asking questions about how long the appointment would take and such, the night before my tattoo appointment he told me via email my appointment would take two hours. I got to my appointment 15 minutes early to be told by Kole he “ doesn’t like doing tattoos like I asked for” and he was refunding me my down payment. I asked him why on earth he would wait until my appointment to tell me that, and not have the courtesy to call or email me and he didn’t have a good explanation. Just kept stumbling over his words saying my tattoo isn’t the style he likes to do. I DO NOT recommend working with Kole at all!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

Jessie did my tattoo. I sent her a picture of what I wanted, it was a pretty simple design with no shading and I also mentioned that I only wanted line work. Instead she added a ton of shading and made it really dark and not at all the style I asked for. When I mentioned this she seemed frustrated with me and said I didn’t specify (I sent a picture for goodness sake) what I wanted. She also added a bunch of designs outside of what I asked for. The tattoo itself looked terrible. I am really upset and don’t know what to do now. On top of all this her demeanor was very uncomfortable and she was yelling at and swearing at her employees. I didn’t feel comfortable communicating with her and I’m mad at myself for not just leaving.

Scott was great to talk to, and made the whole process of getting my first tattoo comfortable. He even made some adjustments to my initial stencil that far beat the original one. I will gladly get my second tattoo from here.

Kole is the most gifted artist I’ve ever encountered. I’m still speechless at just how perfect my tattoo turned out. From start to finish, Kole made my tattoo such a memorable experience. There’s no doubt in my mind that I’ll be going back, hopefully many times, for more work from this absolute tattooing savant.

Love how they have walk ins on weekends. Quick, easy and always a fun experience there!! Will has done my last 2 and hes amazing!

Kole does amazing work! He is working on finishing my sleeve that was started by another artist. Hes matching it perfectly and hes super easy to work with. Ive been stopped multiple times while shopping by people complimenting & asking who did my work. I recommend Kole to everyone!

Ive been coming here for quite sometime now and I can assure you that the friends Ive made here and conversations Ive had with the employees will NOT happen anywhere else. This place is one of a kind and the art that walks in and out of this place is not comparable to any other place Ive been to in the past and honestly I will never go nor my wife to another location ever again. The guidance on art questions and concerns cannot be found elsewhere and never will be. Jess and Scott are ridiculously good at what they do and it clearly shows in my art and others. Youll be hard pressed to find another place better than this, honestly. These people will awnser any question you have and if they dont think it right they will tell as they want you to be happy with you permanent art, they pour theyre everything into this and It shows, they will guide you in the right direction everytime. For all the other bad reviews out there - you clearly werent ready for life changes and these people like jess wanted to send you in the right direction and you fought it... that was YOUR mistake and you should value the persons opinion thats going to change your body forever as clearly thats why they are the artist and you are the canvas, Learn to value others opinions or stay in your basement. These are the best people Ive ever meet and will be a returning customer for life... Period.

Made a consultation back in july with a kid named cole... went in and talked about what i wanted and he took pictures of my chest and pictures of what it was i wanted. after numerous reschedules i finally went in to get started. i showed up for my appointment and he then showed me what j he had drawn up... was nothing what we talked about! at this point i told him to look at the picture that he took of what i wanted. he looked thru his tablet and could not find the picture until i told him to look it up by date! july 8th. the most unprofessional kid ive ever dealt with and would highly not recommend dealing with him wasting your time

Got a beautiful shoulder piece done by Kole. Line work and shading were so detailed. It turned out looking exactly how i imagined. Very proud to show off this piece of art. I will defiantly will be going back to get more of his work!
