Tomahawk Tattoo & Body Piercing

My last visit was kind of annoying. I went and got my jewelry replaced and installed and she usually does a good job but this time, it took way longer than usual. And she struggled to get the jewelry in which was only irritating and causing inflammation to my piercing. She changed the original jewelry and it was a lot smoother for her to install after that. But I left upset cause my lip was red and super swollen like I had just gotten it pierced for the first time. Other than that she usually does a good job. 5 min in and out but last visit was around 15 min and not thar pleasant.

Got my nose pierced yesterday September 11th and the lady who did it Amber I think was really nice and welcoming and I love how it turned out definitely going back for my next piercing I also like how you have the option to choose like what color you want and not them pick for you and in my opinion the $40 cash price isnt that bad especially since shes a licensed nurse and it includes the jewelry.

I got a medusa piercing done there and the people were great and everything, they make sure the area is satanized, they did really well.

Ive been a couple times now for piercings. Always a good time and Amber does a wonderful job. Will be going back in the future.

Dont even deserve 1 star changed my mind on getting a tattoo and the rude artist must have been hard up for money because he became very hostile and started threatening my son and was chest bumping me as his trash breath poured all over me like white trash! Then they preceeded to call the police over a customer changing their mind! BEWARE!!!

This was a great experience. Got my nose piercing done, had never had any facial piercings before. Place was really clean, sterilized everything before we went back. Cost was $40 and that includes the body jewelry. They only take cash, so that is the downside. Wait wasn’t very long either!! Really seemed to know what she was doing. Would recommend:)

Ive gotten most of my piercings here, and each time has been great. Amy is helpful with any questions about aftercare, jewelry, etc.

Smiley pierced completely crooked. Asked gently for a refund or re-pierce, drove an hour to be told to come back in a couple weeks because the swelling was making it crooked. This is several days after the piercing. Waste of $50.

I went there to get a piercing. I was wanting a industrial piercing done and when I got there, there was a line of girls waiting for get piercings done which wasn’t a big deal. The lady asked if I was there for a tattoo or piercing and I told her I wanted to get a piercing and she told me to sit down and wait so I did. She was getting through the other girls which is fine but I waited 2 HOURS for her to finally asked me what type of piercing I wanted and then her decline it because she was uncomfortable with it. It’s fine that she declined it I understand but I wish she asked me what I wanted when I walked in instead of just having me wait 2 hours just to say no

Amber is so thorough and explains everything before piercings. The shop is always clean and you can tell sanitation is a top priority of hers. Definitely the only person who will do any piercings for me from now on.

Cash only, which was annoying. But I got three piercings and the lady who works there was phenomenal and made me feel super comfortable. I will be back to have her change out my jewelry and give me any advice I may need.

Completely botched my lip piercingVery upset with how the piercer treated me. First she rushed the entire process, piercing my lip crocked, and then put in a bar too small to let it heal correctly. I had to go to another shop to get hoop put in due to how swollen it had gotten trying to heal. Then when I tried to call back to ask questions about healing for 4 days no one answered the phone during their operating hours. Definitely would not recommend if you want a piercing done right and don’t want excruciating pain.

Great piercing shop! Went for a cartilage piercing, everyone there was super friendly and professional. She made sure to take the time between clients to disinfect the room well. I even lost the back of my earring two weeks after the initial piercing and she replaced the back and put it on for me again for free. Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend this place! I got my nostril pierced for $40 and the woman was very kind and calm. Talked me through it and it’s healed perfectly!! Also read somewhere that she’s a certified nurse, so that helps! There were lots of cute options for rings as well (you get it included.)

Everyone was awesome and very professional! The price for my nipple piercings and jewelry were very affordable. They were very thorough and made me feel comfortable while getting pierced! Definitely recommend, will always go here for anymore piercings!

Im a total chicken when it comes to piercings, but I felt so comfortable. I was confident that I was in good hands, and my experience was great. Honestly, love the family atmosphere and how kind everyone was. Very knowledgeable and reassured me that if I ever had questions, I could call or visit. Piercings look great and I couldnt be more satisfied. GO TO TOMAHAWK!

The family that owns this store is absolutely the best! I went for a piercing and a price on a tattoo, and Amber made me feel extremely comfortable and did a great job. Yetti quoted me more than the other shop in town for my tattoo, but I don’t mind paying a little bit more from a true artist that’s been in magazines! Plus he did such an awesome job and took extra time to put in a TON of details! I am already thinking about my second tattoo!!!

I have had the pleasure of having all three of my piercings done at this particular location and will continue to get all my future piercings done here as well. Amber and her staff are very friendly. This facility is a clean and professional environment that does all procedures by the book but goes above and beyond. Great experience with getting a tattoo. I had a design that I wanted, and it was done perfectly with some added color that I would not have thought of, but it looks great. Great pricing and explanation of the process. Amazed to find this quality of work in a town this size. You can tell he has had years of experience. Everything was clean and sterile and I enjoyed the workspace.

Very clean, the lady was extremely nice! My nose piercing didnt hurt she did a great job. My sisters snake bites look great!! My sister did get dizzy and the lady did everything right to make sure my sister was okay! Highly recommended!!

I was told at initial appointment I could come back and get piercings changed out and that the new jewelry they replaced it with would be free of charge. When I made that appointment and came in, she acted confused about that and I was charged anyway. No big deal I guess. The new labret jewelry I paid for was way too tight and had to be changed out again two days later for the original. TWO MONTHS later, I changed it out, still a little snug. After one night, the piercing is buried in my lip and I’m sitting at urgent care waiting for someone to dig it out. The piercing is so close to my lip, you can’t even see it unless I smile. Lesson learned: It was $100 for three holes and $125 with insurance to get hardware removed from one of the holes.

Very Rude!!! Lady had a bad attitude from the time I walked in. I came in to ask about a tattoo/ pricing trying to show a picture and the lady rudely answered the phone as if I wasn’t talking. Will spend my money at a place that has a better attitude and has manners

This is the second time I have gotten a daith piercing to help with my migraine headaches and on both occasional I have gone in with terrible migraine and the headache was gone upon leaving. I can not thank them enough. They were helpful and made it an easy experience! Thank you!!

Got my daith done here and it healed two weeks early and it was a great experience. Amber the piercer is really nice and will tell you how a piercing will look after and help talk you through it to make sure you get what you want and that it will look the way you want after. She is honest even if it means she loses a sale on a piercing that day and that’s important. Because I loved the shop and atmosphere and had seen Yetti doing some awesome work I decided to come in and finally get a tattoo from Yetti here and he was amazing!! I showed up at closing time and he agreed to stay and do my piece for my father even though he didn’t have to and it looks exactly like my fathers handwriting he did an awesome job! This is also the most sanitary tattoo shop I’ve ever been in locally and I’ve been to Flippin Ink in Ponca and to Skinsations in Arkansas City KS and I was impressed. They are the friendliest and easiest people to work with and I’ve used them over six months and been in at least 8-9 times never had a bad experience! Will keep coming back for sure!

My sister came over from the UK after my father passed away and she wanted some thing that reminded her of me . The staff worked with her and found something that she was very happy with. His art work is extremely good. She was very happy with the finished product.

Went in for a tattoo and had a horrible experience. They were hasty and spread thin with appointments from the first consultation. It was as if I was a number or a burden to them. I never even spoke to the artist in the consultation and wouldn’t have scheduled the appointment if I had. He is not communicative, seemed stressed/fatigued, and was rude.His sketch wasn’t good, it looked bubbly and messy. The flowers didn’t look like the pictures I showed him, although the hand did. I asked for changes to the art and he accused me of not knowing what I want. He didn’t seem receptive or skilled enough to implement art without a picture. I asked to step outside to think and eventually came in asking to do a different tattoo that was simple. He told me I’ll regret the tattoo since I’m changing the design and I told him it seemed more like he didn’t want me to get tattooed than me. His wife and daughter stepped in to be rude too, it was a whole gang of weirdness and lack of professionalism. They agreed to return my $60 deposit and I just left with no tattoo. Definitely not returning or recommending this place.

I have been to Yetti for several years now he has done a couple of my tattoos and he is amazing. I will not let anyone else tattoo me i have been to 3 different people before i found yetti and he has done the best job and is the most professional of all of them. His wife is super awesome at piercings i wold totally recommend them to any one !!!

I was really excited to get my cartilage pierced today and even convinced my friend to go and she decided to get a third hole in each ear. Despite it being cash only, we were okay with it.We got there at 630. There was a group of high school girls with a parent, and then a group of 3 friends. It took the daughter 10 minutes to even say HI to us, let alone get us on the paper work. Alright, she had a printer problem... so we let it go. We take a seat and notice one person was in the back and 30 minutes after we walked in she finally left. The WIFE, who is the only person that does the piercings, took another half an hour to do SOMETHING in the back. We assumed clean (my friend and I were able to leave and get food before she even called the next person). Alright, we get it gotta take a break maybe. She came out to thank us all for letting the girl go before the others thatd been there since 6 because of something that had come up.So she takes 2 of the girls that was in the high school group (the rest were hanging around). By now, its been 2 hours for them. It took her half an hour to pieece both of them.A young girl that knew the daughter walked in as the second daughter started getting her ear pierced - didnt think much if it. Just. Friend saying hi. After ANOTHER 20 minutes she calls my friend and I up for her to choose an earing - we thought wed finally get a piercing, right after the others. But as were choosing, she turns to the friend and says so-and-so, do you want to get in first? And literally us and the three friends all looked at each other - she was asking a girl thatd been thre for 20 mins that just walked in if she wanted to go ahead of these customers thatd been there for 2.5 hours.After another 30 mins (a total of 2 hours at this point) my friend and i left, angry. The wife spent so much time in the back doing God knows what (taking 15-20 minutes to clean every surface between piercings?) And just chit chatting while the daughter literally stood there... my friend has 7 piercings and a one or two tats. I have 4 and 2 tattoos and we both agreed they we have NEVER seen such unprofessional work. You have people there ready to pay you in cash waiting for a 5 second procedure for 2 and 2.5 hours? After making 3 customers wait ao you can handle someone else that ALSO came after them? And youre letting a friend cut in and make us wait while you stand there chit chatting, instead of working? Its called working and talking and ACTUALLY running a business. Its disgusting.I wouldnt even bother going here. Its a waste of time.

I just got my first tattoo at Haymaker. Yetti was awesome. He worked with me for several days to make sure my tattoo was going to be exactly what I wanted. He was really relaxed and professional and made the experience one that I am definitely happy with. I am already planning #2 and will not go to anyone else.

Yetti is a good artist whose done all of my tattoos so far. Hes really good at picking the perfect colours, and everyone is really helpful in planning and execution. He is a bit heavy handed but that just makes them last longer!

My son just got home from getting his first tattoo. He was shown and paid for one thing nine days ago. Today, when he arrived, there was no stencil prepared and when they finally sized and placed it and he asked what happened to the original artwork, he was told that to get what he thought he was there to get it would cost extra. It looks awful and its a terrible thing to take advantage of a young person who trusted your professional expertise and credibility. Shame on you!!!

Went in today to get a piercing and I will not be going back. Very unprofessional, rude and do not have there filing system organized. Sat and waited for an hour and a half to find our paper work and then went back to the room and waited for her again about 10 min to stop chit chatting with other people in the store when I was ready to get my piercing done. Horrible experience at this place. Do not recommend.

Really great people, super friendly and experienced! I felt very comfortable when I got my nose pierced so I came back a while later for my tattoo, which turned out beautifully!

They have the market cornered in Stillwater. Yetti does great work. But from my experience, the Mrs. doesnt know the piercing laws, doesnt understand how to read law but applies her own distorted interpretation of the law. Another small business in Stillwater that confirms for me why driving to the city is a better way to go for customer service.

Came in to get my Tragus piercing changed. Great service, atmosphere and super clean.Side note: the piercer is also a nurse :)

Called twice on a Friday to reschedule because my tattoo appointment was Wednesday the 26th when that date does not exist, no answer. Called twice on the following Monday, no answer. Called today, Tuesday the 26th and was told I could not reschedule and lost my $40 deposit AND was told to go f**k yourself, twice.
