Silvas Tattooing

After reading numerous positive reviews on Yelp, I visited Silvas Tattooing to inquire about the cost of getting a wing image tattooed. To my delight, the artist was available then and assured me that this simple design could be completed in less than an hour. This was to be my first tattoo, and I was thrilled to get it done right away, especially when other shops I contacted had placed me on waiting lists.Regrettably, the tattoo I received was far from what I had envisioned. I have attached an image for reference. Within 40 days, the ink began to fade in various areas, causing even more distress.Reflecting on my missteps, I should have been more vigilant and examined the design closely when he started. I mistakenly placed my trust in the artists judgment. When I returned to discuss potential solutions, the artist asserted that it was my responsibility to scrutinize the design during placement. He also questioned why I wanted the same tattoo I had initially shown him, implying that his creation was different and superior.I would have been open to accepting his artistic interpretation, but the problem lies in the fact that nowhere is close to what I wanted in the frst place. My initial design was straightforward, yet the execution was a significant mess. To make matters worse, the ink began to fade and disappear in certain spots within a mere 40 days.While the artist offered to rectify the fading ink, he admitted that he couldnt do much to salvage the design itself. When I requested a refund, he refused. I had been initially charged $120 and paid $140, which included a tip. Now, I am paying double the amount to remove this tattoo.Given these frustrating circumstances, I cannot recommend Silvas Tattooing to others based on my experience.

Shady business practices with their deposit policy.I should have read their reviews first on yelp and on google.

Got my first tattoo done here. It was so quick n painless experience. I got a small little tattoo though. Had a bit of issue with schedule , but its all compensated with neat n painless tattooing.Thanks guys.

Got my first ear piercings here. Staff was patient, friendly, helpful and very informative about the piercing, healing and after care. Area was clean and the music playing was pretty good too. 10/10 recommend..will definitely go again for my next piercing:

I got my second lobe piercing today, it was so quick so professional just truly great. my piercer super cool and helped me calm down a lot. definitely coming back for that custom piercing! also the fact they accept me as a walk in was just the perfect scenario. they are so friendly. i completely recommended

Got my nose pierced with Carissa. Great experience the store was very clean and was very inexpensive. Carissa was super sweet and knew a lot of information about the piercings. She was very welcoming and great at answering questions. I would definitely come back again for other piercings.

They did it fast and $20 off for first timer! Amazing service. I got the 2 ear lobes pierced and I was given instructions on how to keep it clean and be safe. Recommend it

My wife and I just got wedding finger tattoos for our 30th anniversary which was last April but because of covid we had to put it off.. came to see Tony Silva and got great tattoo. Place is close to us and very clean..highly reccomend this place. Cant wait to have some more tattoos done.

The shop was empty on a cold rainy night. The artist were there ready for this lady who was on desperate need of a pick me up tattoo. No other customers were there so it was quick. I got my rose tattoo and moved on. The artist who did mine was great and would definitely go back. I took the cards and stickers and have had friends get theirs already

Botched the simplest tattoo you can ever imagine, an amateur was assigned to render a simple line drawing which did not have much detail, yet some of key details went missing. The moment I walked out the the shop I searched for tattoo removal on google! It was the most horrible experience, will never get tattoo from someone without seeing a sample of their work.

A few months ago I had the privilege of getting tatted by Tony - professional, personable, and a great artist! I came in with an idea and Tony turned it into my favorite piece. I definitely plan on coming back.

I told Alex what I wanted done. He said it could be done in two sessions. He charged me $350 for the first session as it was a very large tattoo. The first session was supposed to be for line work, and the second session was supposed to be to put in color. At the end of the first session he got tired and wanted to stop. So the line work did not get finished. He said he would still have time to finish all of it in the second session. At the end of the second session he ran out of time to finish the whole thing. Only about half has color in it. He still charged me $350.On top of that he is very heavy handed. The healing process is terrible and painful. If you are a person of color, I would not recommend getting color tattoos by Alex. The color does not heal right or show up after it heals. Alex tries to beat it into you thinking that’s how it’s going to show up better, but it does more damage than good. Two weeks later and I still have pain in the area. I believe nerve damage was done. It tingles in lower layers of my skin, and still hurts to stretch it or lay on it. His after care instructions are for a tattoo that has been done correctly with minimal tissue damage.Because he is heavy handed the tissue damage was severe and deep. The plasma response was much like having second degree burn and was very thick and caked. The plasma would not come off easily which produced scabbing that caused the skin to heal with distortions in the color. In some areas of the tattoo where there was a lot of color before all the plasma started, it looks like it returned to almost the original color of my skin. Some of the black line work had blow outs. It looks fuzzy like an old tattoo. So definitely he is too heavy handed, and does not know what he is doing.Alex is not professional at all. While getting tatted he made references to my butt being too big, and kept saying it was getting in the way. He also made comments about being so close to my “cooch” as he called it, that it was distracting him. He did not give me anything to cover up myself for privacy or to keep my clothes from getting ink on it. Also there is no privacy from people walking by while more than half of my body is exposed to be worked on. After all that and I still have to heal up completely before finding someone else to finish this tattoo. Not worth the pain, the money, or any of it.

Absolutely wonderful people, very friendly, and was able to get me and my boyfriend right in! We both love our tattoos! Highly recommend them!

Showed up for my appointment (live an hour away) only to be told that worker had quit. Didn’t bother with a phone call to cancel 🤷🏻‍♀️

I called to get prices and was told they did NOT do ear piercing and did NOT have any recommendations. huh.

Okay so I went last night for the first time and got my septum piercing done AND THEN once it was done the lady said it was “bent” and I said it was crooked and she blamed it on me saying I moved and so did the manager

They don’t do ear pericing but they website has it. They should remove it
