All of the staff were so kind and helpful. The woman with purple hair, who cashed me out, helped me pick out jewelry and was so patient while I was deciding. My piercer Carie was so amazing, she explained everything so well and was very understanding. I had both of my nostrils pierced and I flinched on the second piercing but she was still able to make them even, and they look so good 💓 Chris did my friends septum and he did a wonderful job with her as well 😁

Best experience here. I was pierced yesterday by someone named Chris. He was absolutely the best! He gave great advice and was very caring and gentle with my piercing! Definitely recommend! I will be coming back. Thanks so much!!!

This is such an amazing place to get pierced! Always a great experience coming here. Ive had my last 5 piercings done here and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Carrie is one of the piercers there and shes done the majority of my piercings, and she is so friendly, thorough, and incredibly skilled! She seems to know exactly what shes doing and makes getting pierced so easy and quick!Everything about this place is amazing - the staff is so friendly and fun, and great communication from the moment you walk in until you leave! Theyre incredibly thorough and care about the quality of their work and your satisfaction! On top of all that they have a great selection of jewelry for great prices, the building is clean and pretty, and its such a vibe. I really couldnt recommend this place more - if youre looking for a good place to get a piercing this is it.

I’ve always gone to Queen City for all my piercings service is always amazing. Recently I got my conch pierced by Carie and got a shorter bar by her as well. She is always so kind and talks you through everything. Very thorough and helpful. It healed faster than my lobes and was worth the 10 seconds of pain. 10/10 recommend Queen City for quality jewelry and service. Photo stolen off Caries insta 😊

Very disappointed in my piercing. My daughter and I have had at least ten piercings done there between the two of us and this last time I decided to get my doubles done. I told the girl I wanted the next size up from my very small helix stud and she went two to three sizes up. Then, because it was so large they didn’t bother to tell me that not only will the post be larger than normal, but the needle will be a larger gauge as well. It hurt like hell and now I have these giant posts in my seconds that I did not want. All they had to do was say, just so you know, with the larger stud you will have a larger post and therefore a larger needle. I had no clue. I wanted to wear tiny, dainty earrings in my seconds and now I am going to have these HUGE holes! And one of them won’t heal for anything. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication when getting my piercings. Literally wish I would have just went to Claire’s instead of paying $150 for something I hate that could have been prevented if they would have just communicated.

I highly recommend Queen City Piercing Studio for young children getting lobe piercings. Chris and Heaven were exceptional. They were able to do both lobes at the same time for my 6 year old daughter, reducing the stress

Carie did such an awesome job. Ive had my lobes pierced, but stepped up to getting my nostril pierced. She was very clear and transparent about the prices for the piercing itself, the jewelry, and the process. She was super fun and easygoing, but still very professional in explaining how everything would go. I just wish I wouldve known how awesome the whole thing was in retrospect so that I couldve tipped her more. Thanks Carie!

I have had a few ear piercings done at this location and I have been satisfied with the cleanliness and professionalism at this location. Would recommend! Only complaint is I would like more of a variety in the jewelry with some cheaper but still pretty options.

Chris was so nice and helpful in the decision process on location of my piercing and jewelry choice (along with another person, but I didnt catch her name - so sorry!). He was very informative and asked me about my cats during the piercing which made the ouch part much more tolerable! Thank you, Chris!

Got three piercings my second holes and flat. My flat was pierced at an angle I got a disc and it’s extremely obvious one side of the disk touches my ear and the other end is sticking out away from my ear, the back of the piercing is way higher up on my ear than the front. One of my second holes is fine but the other is a lot closer to the edge of my ear than the other. 😒 never getting a spontaneous piercing in a random shop again!

Gave them a call before we got there to see if they can take walk ins. Told us on the phone $40 for a nose piercing. They can get us in.We got there. clean location. Friendly first impression.We filled out all the paperwork. Told we had one person in front of us.Two hours in they have us look at jewelry and got us all paid out. It was WAY more than the $40. MORE LIKE $100. They failed to mention over the phone that the $40 was not including the jewelry.We waited this long we might as well.Got us checked out.NO REFUNDS BY THE WAY. They also have a 3% charge on cards.It took 4 hours in total. Didn’t even try to let us know the wait was or check in on us every so often.We were there till close.If you don’t have time to get us in just tell us. Wasted my time for 15 mins just to get the piercing itself. Had like 6 other groups of people and we were second to last after all of that time. They were all there almost falling asleep.DO NOT RECOMMEND. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. LACK OF COMMUNICATION.

I loved this shop! As soon as you walk in you can tell how clean and organized everything is. Its a very calm and relaxing environment. I came in with a close friend of mine she got her helix and second lobes and I got my helix as well. Staff was so friendly and fun to be around. Cleaning and healing was explained in detail and we were sent home with an instruction sheet. We are definitely coming back to get more piercings. I highly recommend Queen City.

I had recently went in a few months ago to get a helix piercing and filled out the online paperwork for it but I was pregnant at the time so I was unfortunately couldn’t get it which I understand that so they told me they could hold my jewelry until after I had my baby and they wrote my name on a sticky note and took it to the back with my jewelry my brother in law at the time had paid for both me and my sisters piercings before I knew I couldn’t actually get pierced so all I would have to do is come in since the jewelry and the piercing were all already paid for, the problem was when I went back after having my baby they seemed to not have record of me or my sisters paperwork that we had both filled out then they proceeded to ask me if my brother in law had filled out paperwork and he had not since he wasn’t the one getting pierced, they then ask me if I had a receipt but I had already told them I was not the person who had paid for the piercing so how would I have the receipt?? They then turned me away without sticking to their word about my piercing even though they knew the exact date it had been paid for and when we came in to get the piercings and also basically ROBBED SOMEONE OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY, just because they couldn’t be organized and if you aren’t organized you should at least stick to your word.

Weather your a child or adult they are amazing.Decent selection on jewelry from low cost to very expensive.How they have treated me, and my daughters when we have gotten piercings is amazing.Exceptional with small children and trying to help them overcome their fears.I cannot express how much I appreciate them for going the extra mile to make sure my girls and I were always comfortable before a piercing.Helpful and informative if you call to ask questions.Amazing people. 👏Ive had 4 piercings from them and zero issues.2 daughters have had ears pierced. They all did amazing.

My sister in law and I went to get our septum and nose pierced. Well for one the $10 piercings arent $10.. they pierced her nose crooked and did mine well besides not even telling me info on the piercing and how to clean it.

Heaven was my piercer, she did a great job. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing it. It was so calming and made me comfortable. Chris greeted me and helped me with jewelry selection, he was very kind. The shop was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. All around, it was a nice experience!

Amazing experience. My daughter (6) birthday wish was to get her ears pierced.The staf was amazing. By talking and showing the whole process to my daughter she wasnt scared. Room was very clean and tools were sterile. Bought ears were pierced at the same time and within seconds she had her beautiful earrings. I got my nose pierced for my birthday a couple days ago by Heaven and it was a very good experience. Everyone there was very nice and answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel stupid for not knowing even the most obvious things. I highly recommend them for a piercing. Price was pretty good and fair.

Had my nipples pierced here (third time in total). The other 2 piercing failed (Due to choosing another business.) Healed with no problem, great people, and very professional! Wish I had a third nipple to pierce just to go back!

My daughter was so excited to get her ears pierced. I wanted a place that would do them professionally so I decided upon Queen City. When asked prior I was told piercings were $25 per lobe and the range for earrings were $10-40. I go in with my kids and we’re shown the $30-40 range earrings. We decided upon a set that was $40 or so I thought. I was not told it was per earring! When I paid i thought the amount was high but disregarded it cause I had my children with me. Come to find the cost is PER EARRING! I was not told this at all by the girl who assisted me. She described the earrings as if they were a pair “these are $30 and these are $40”. No where did she say they were “per earring”. If that were the case she should have said “these earrings are $60 and these are $80” as she was aware my girl would get both ears pierced. Even in the conversation per Messenger it was not stated the jewelry were “per earring”. I am just so disappointed and feel very taken advantaged of. I tried so hard to make sure my kids were polite and didn’t make a mess nor bother anymore. For that money I should have left the crumbs they dropped on the floor. Though they seemed kind and did a good job I sadly cannot recommend them.

I got re pierced by Chris and he did an amazing job! I got my daith re done and it doesnt even hurt,no blood or anything! Great piercer

My 5 year old got her ears pierced here and we were soooooo happy with our experience. They talked to her the whole time, made sure she was comfortable, and pierced both of her ears at the same time. She had such a great experience that she didnt even cry, I highly recommend going to them!!

Mitch did my septum piercing and they did an AMAZING job. Super clear and concise with their explanations, made sure I was comfortable, and extremely knowledgeable about what they were doing. Cant recommend them enough!

We got our daughters ears pierced here, and they were wonderful! They had two piercers, so it would only hurt once, and they explained what they were doing and asked for consent every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Carie did my piercing for my nostril. She explained everything well as far as what to expect. Loving it so far. Got it done yesterday. Everyone else there. 2 guys, was also very friendly and helpful and answered my questions while Carie was getting everything ready for me.

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. First time, I went to get a piercing it was pierced all wrong. Next day I stopped by to get it repierced a few hours later the jewelry on both piercings just fell out. Queen City didn’t try to issue a refund or try to schedule another day so we could resolve the issue. I WILL NEVER GO BACK

They removed a septum piercing from my daughters nose that her friend did without permission, and am very pleased on how friendly, quick and awesome they were. Thank you for taking care of that for us.

I went in to get my Bridge done. The piercer that did the service, his name is Brentt. He did a amazing job. He made sure the room and equipment was presented in the cleanest environment. There was very calming and relaxing music playing in the shop. It could for sure calm some nerves. He was super quick. I highly recommend booking and piercing service with him! He explained everything before he put and fingers to my face. He made sure and checked in multiple times if I was doing okay. I had a wonderful experience here. Definitely a very trusted place to get a piercing.

I purchased 3 gift cards for a total of $450 for tattoos. When my family went to redeem them they were told they could only use them for piercings, a condition they failed to advise me of. When I contacted them about this & a possible resolution they were very short, rude & uncooperative. When you buy a gift card that card is the same as cash or a store credit to purchase whatever goods or services they offer. As a result my family, & hopefully any friends we inform about this strange & unfair business practice, will never do business at this store again.

Brett was amazing and respected my latex allergy. He was very professional and did an amazing job with my new lip piercing. I posted before and after pics. I highly recommend coming here over any other place in Terre Haute.

My piercing was pierced too much so the ring didn’t fit properly and the jewelry fell out due to that just a few days after being pierced even though I kept checking it’s tightness and kept it clean as instructed. When I called tell them the jewelry didn’t last as advertised, “our jewelry is meant to last and be worn for years” as their associate assured me every time I hesitated due to the pricing of their jewelry. They simply told me these thing happen and that I could purchase all new jewelry from them and they’d be happy to put it in for me. I feel utterly scammed as I now don’t have a piercing where anything fits (I had a second opinion, and it was pierced incorrectly) so I was scammed and will now have to be pierced again after I heal. It was an over priced piercing, over priced jewelry, and terrible customer retaining.

Literally had the BEST experience of my life here, got my snake bites done and Mitch did an amazing job! He was super nice and took his time making sure they looked even and really good Im highly satisfied and will for sure be back in the near future!

Got my septum done here. The piercer didnt mark the spot they just went in with a needle. The piercing was very crooked and I ended up having to take it out. Overall very bad experience.

Came in last night to get nipple piercings along with my friends. Despite it being busy we were still able to be taken. As a trans individual, I was a little worried about getting my nipples pierced, but Mitch made it super easy for me to go through with it and made sure I was relaxed and comfortable

The piercers themselves are very kind and professional, but the sales staff is extremely rude! I understand trying to upsell for the better jewelry, but I very politely declined getting the more expensive options, and one of the ladies rolled her eyes and sighed very rudely that I wouldnt buy it. She said, Well, good luck then and acted like I was literal scum for not wanting to spend an extra $30. If it was THAT big of a deal, then why offer the lesser quality in the first place?! She almost made me cry because she was so rude and I was already nervous about the whole experience.

Customer service was great. A former student is the piercer. Unfortunately, there was a billing error. We were under charged. My husband called to work something out. From a consumer perspective, its their problem. Honestly, had we known the price would be doubled, we would not have made the purchase ( its very expensive anyway). What Im really disgusted about is that the owner/manager threatened to fire the employee if we chose not to pay! This was straight up blackmail! Truthfully, had I not know the employee, she would not have been able to reach out to us concerning the error. This incident has soured me on this company. We paid for what we were told the product costed. I am revolted by the management practices. How you choose to deal with errors and your employees is your business, but under no circumstances should this have fallen on my shoulders. The two girls were fantastic and very lovely! The man acted as a rude and manipulative human by how he treated this situation.

Im a little late on the review lol, but everything went perfect. It was my first time getting a cartilage piercing, so wont lie it hurt like a mf, but the girl was really polite and down to earth. She did everything exactly how I wanted and did her best to make me comfortable and satisfied. Over all would highly recommend on going back, and suggest you try it out!!

Queen City Piercing studio is a beautiful shop. It is absolutely spotless. The procedures I witnessed was as good as any doctors procedures I have seen.The staff and owner were also very polite, professional, informative and accommodating.A comfortable experience all the way around!

Best place to go to get pierced. My daughter has severe anxiety and Heaven accommodated her needs and she felt comfortable with the process. She loves her septum piercing.

The service was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions. The atmosphere is relaxed. I came in with a group of 3 and we all left within 30 minutes. The selection of rings is fantastic. They use a needle, not a gun, for pierceings. Everything was very clean when I arrived and was throughly cleaned between me and my friends. I will be going back for my next piercing.

On 11-29-19 I got my septum pierced and it was in the completely wrong place. It was crooked and barely in my nose. After one day it began to burn and throb. Had to remove it. It was a complete waste of money and it caused a lot of issues for me. I do not recommend the piercer Hannah. She was nice and all but she did a terrible job. She didn’t mark anything before she started and slowly pushed the needle through.

Seriously dont do business with these people! Had microdermals done on chest almost a decade ago and have had the same ones in for the last 7 years and they have never loosened or fell out. I got them replaced by queen city and they fell out in LESS THAN A WEEK! When they were properly done they lasted 7 YEARS. These didnt even last 7 days and when I called about it their words were well I guess thats just YOUR loss..For one, that is terrible bussiness principles and for two you proffesional body artists should AT LEAST know how to put in body jewelry considering you are by far the most expensive place around. Absolutely Pathetic!If your employees dont know how to do their job you need to do refunds. If you wont do refunds your employees should know how to do their job!

Do not recommend Courtney the piercing artist. I got my navel pierced back in early December and since then I have had nothing but trouble with it. I went to another body piercer and he told me it was pierced wrong and I would have to take it out and have it re-pierced. I have a friend that had her nip*les at the same time and Courtney pierced them crooked and offered to re-pierce them the same day; however, this makes it super hard to heal and our new body piercer said that it should have never even been offered as an option. On top of that, my other friend also had her ni*ples pierced and they were pierced too close to the tip of her nip and it has started to reject the piercing. I do NOT recommend unless you want to spend even more money on getting your piercings fixed.

Honestly, as much as I want to recommend Queen City, I just cant. Ive gotten 3 piercings from them and they have messed up the placement twice (and I dont just mean it wasnt to my liking, the piercings were blatantly done incorrectly and had to be redone). For the price, youre better off going somewhere else.

Got my ears pierced in early December. They cleaned their tools but my ears were allergic to the medal and were extremely infected. When I tried to ask for help they lied to be and blamed the weather. I had to get antibiotics to get it to go away. It’s February and none of my piercings are healed yet. I have to take them out to heal and restart. That was a waste of my money

Very clean, positive atmosphere... kinda pricy but Id rather pay more to know its done right! I also got the better ring, I reccomend just going with plain hoop then upgrade later to make sure you wont have any trouble.

The first time I gone here, they pierced my tragus with the wrong hoop.It dangled to my lobe for a few months, then i could switch it out.No worries right? We all make mistakes.The second time I went, my daith wasnt closed all the way😬😔😞. It was painful to get the big gap out of my head without ripping it out. I definitely recommend Queen City Tattoos❤MUCH more than the new piercing studio. Otherwise, the expirence was eh. I appreciate the cleanliness and the hospitality. If I wanted expensive jewelry, Id go to Zales.

Came in to replace my lip piercing today because I snapped my ball off. The employees were friendly and helpful, didnt have exactly what I wanted but I got an alternative replacement ball. Overall nice visit.

I had my left nostril pierced and a second piercing done on both of my lobes, and the woman (i think her name is Heaven or Heather?) was super sweet and talked me through the piercings.

They did my septum and snake bites and they’ve healed great and they’re even! Everyone that works there is so sweet and caring! 10/10🫶🏻

If you are looking for a piercing studio set up like a high end boutique, this is it. Willing to pay $15/ear (first time getting ears pierced) but choked at $30/earring. $90 for pierced and plain studs.

I had a issue with my piercing but we discussed the issue and got it worked out although I have to go back to fix it the situation was handled very well I recommend it to anyone on price and quality of work

They did great with piercing my little sisters ears when she went however when my husband went to have his septum done the girl pierced one side higher then the other so now his ring is forever crooked and it was so painful he wont have it redone so we paid almost 50 dollars for a crooked piercing.
