Nathan did some work on the back of my legs and I absolutely love this piece . He’s super kind and so detail oriented. Beyond reasonable pricing. Go in with the appreciation he’s not going to rush through your work and you’ll be happy with the finished results.

I loved my experience at Lucid Arts! Nate was so friendly and as someone who had a bad tattoo experience in the past with another shop, it was so refreshing to go there and get to work with such a friendly staff. Not only is Nate friendly but all of this staff goes the extra way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Nate is an amazing tattoo artist who pays attention to details. He did some abstract lines on my whole arm and even completely reworked the other tattoo that I had that I was unhappy with. He made the tattoo that I previously had better and Im so happy that I found him! I couldnt be happier with it!! He changed anything that I wanted and his line work is amazing. I had a tattoo done by Nate this week. I was so pleased with the outcome! He took his time to add texture and detail to the work. This was probably the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. Ive been getting tattooed for years and Ive never felt so comfortable in a shop before. I have social anxiety so it takes a lot for me to even walk in the door to talk about making an appointment. Everybody there is super nice. Katelyn was awesome!!! She drew up a couple different options for me to look at and had no problem switching certain colors and pieces. I was able to make an appointment very quick. The tattoo itself came out so cute! Colors are very bold and solid. It was almost painless, she has a great touch. The shop itself is very, very clean and spacious. Im really looking forward to coming back! Thanks again!

Very late to posting, but had an amazing experience here. The artist Nate worked with me to create my perfect tattoo, he was really awesome adding an artistic eye to the drawing I brought in, but listening to everything I wanted. It came out so great. Nate is a perfectionist and takes great care in his artwork and it shows. Very comforting environment. Everyone is very nice and the place is kept really clean. Cant say enough good things. Will definitely go back if I decide to get another one.

I went here a year ago for my first tattoo and have gone back for two more. The shop is spotless and the studios and instruments are in immaculate condition. Beyond how well the business is run, the best part about Lucid Arts is how courteous and professional the staff is to all of its customers. Getting a tattoo at my my age, I must admit I was a bit nervous I would be out of my league but the staff and my artist, Birdman, made me feel at home. All of the artists work diligently and patiently to create the tattoo that you envision. The line work and shading on my tattoos (done by Birdman on both forearms) often receive compliments from random people that I meet. He takes his time, keeps it chill, and does the artwork the right way. I highly recommend Lucid for first time tattoos as well as any additions to your collection.

Nate is a chill dude who is obviously skilled at tattooing. Cleanest shop Ive ever been in, great people, great artists, and a great time. Only reason for 5 stars is I cant give a 6th.

Went there twice for Jay. The first time I went the line work was very bumpy and crooked and got multiple comment on how it looked and not positive ones. The second time was to completely black out the tattoo and after it healed it lost alot of the new ink and still does not satisfy. Very unfortunate and wish this could have been done better. Its a shame.

I wanted to fix an old tat that I was never really happy with. I walked in to Lucid Arts and spoke with Jay and Nate. They both made me feel very comfortable and were very knowledgeable. Nate inspected my old tat and told me what he could do to enhance it. I got it redone yesterday (9/7/2019) and couldnt be happier. It was a pleasurable session and Nate was a great guy to talk with as he worked his magic. I was so comfortable that I almost took a nap! I highly recommend this tattoo studio...youll be very happy. I plan on extending my revised tat in the near future and am looking forward to discussing my options with Nate.

I got my first tattoo today. It was a very small semicolon, but I was really nervous. I got the best experience I could ever ask for. Nate is extremely talented and kind. He made me feel so comfortable and made me feel so more relaxed getting my tattoo done. He took so much time with preparation and cleaning so I felt extremely safe and I know it was done right. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am absolutely in love with my watercolor tattoo from Lucid Arts. Jay “Birdman” was very chill during the whole process and did a great job translating the design I wanted from start to finish. Very clean/sanitary shop and friendly staff. Would hands down recommend. If I get more ink I’ll 100% come back here.

I got my first few tattoos 20 years ago in NH but have been looking at adding a Celtic knot for the last 5 years. From the moment I first contacted the studio to the second my knot was done, I was so impressed! Within an hour of emailing them my idea and design, they emailed me back and I stopped by that week to set up an appointment for the following week. I met with Jason who also did my tattoo for me. He is super professional and knowledgeable! He told me everything he was doing from applying the stencil to updates on the progress. His positive and laidback personality made getting back in the tattoo chair after decades awesome!I went straight home to research new designs for another appointment!

Nate is the best. He created a space that is comfortable for people to hang out in while getting tattoos. The quality work that is done there is fantastic. Nate listens to people and turns ideas into meaningful works of art. His skills are top notch and I could not be happier with the work I have had done by him.

I got my second tattoo here. I was drawn to them by there easy going presence. The owner, Nate, sat with me to come up with the design and I booked the appointment. When I returned, I felt at home and Nate began his craft. A couple tweeks to the design and away he went. It was a long process but the time flew. When he was finished, I was in awe! Great art, great color, great depth!Thank you Nate!

This place is amazing! I came in on a whim for a walk in and Nate was very receptive of what I wanted for a tattoo and took his time drawing up and putting together what I wanted. I have seven tattoos. My seventh tattoo was from here. It is the only tattoo that did not scab/Khalid the day of the tattoo! Every other tattoo I got bled from other studios. I will be getting all my tattoos hear from now on! Nate is amazing and actually talks to you while he’s tattooing you! I didn’t just sit there quietly all awkward and what not. I brought in what I wanted and he didn’t have to alter it or make the font bigger he had it exactly as I wanted it! He is AMAZING!!! I even recommended him to my friend who wants a half sleeve tattoo remember her daughter. I will recommend him to everyone because he’s just that awesome!

Im fairly new to the area and didnt know of a decent tattoo shop. I did some research and came across Nate at Lucid Arts. I started with a smaller tattoo on my inner left bicep and was very happy with it. I spoke to Nate because I was ready to start a half sleeve and showed him what i was looking for. After talking with him and seeing past work hes done i decided he was the one who was going to do my sleeve. The compass rose is the beginning of a themed sleeve and I couldnt be happier. The lines were on point and it looks even better in person. Nate and I sat together and designed this exactly how I wanted it. He was patient, and also gave me input since hes the professional doing this and I couldnt be happier. Im excited to have the next component done in a couple weeks and glad Lucid Arts is the one doing this.Below picture is the first of the sleeve and once its complete I will post it completed.

Long over due, but Nate had done 2 tattoos for mein the past. Both of which have exceeded my expectations. Not only is he a talented artist but he takes the time to understand the purpose of the tattoo which makes for a meaningful experience. Will definitely be coming back for my 3rd tattoo in the near future!

I found my artist (Jason Fandel) very kind, understanding, and an amazing artist. I walked into the parlor with a bunch of doubts and second guessings and I came out with a badass tattoo, not once but twice! He nailed it and I loved talking with him and just kinda going through the process. As my first parlor, and tattoo I had a lot of doubts and second guessings, but I love my tattoo and will be making another visit for sure!

My wife and ger friend got matching tattoos. It was my wifes first time and she was terrified but when we walked in we got a warm welcoming greeting from Nate and his wife.Nate was very sensitive to her fear so he explained everything that he was going to do and even let her feel what its like before really starting. He did a great job and kept my wife calm. A great experience for her.I highly recommend Lucid arts to anyone for their first tattoo or their 10th.

This shop was a pleasant experience. Nate took a lot of time to photoshop and alter the imagine to ‘make it my own’. Very clean, enjoyable environment. While the heart is very beautiful, it’s just not what I asked for. I wanted a withering heart in representation of my DV experience, and that vision wasn’t captured. Would definitely recommend this place regardless though. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Went to cover up tatoo. Estimates 5 hour job. 7 hours in hasn’t finished. Trying to juice the $ out of me. Extended sessions I missed a date because dates kept switching I called the day of to reschedule ignored my calls. Then tell me they requiere another deposit (they still have the first deposit ) to finish tatoo after originally giving me another date. (“2 hours left on cover up )1 hour would have been free. Now need to coverup his coverup. Thanks lucid arts! There are Definitely more efficient and effective tatoo shops do not waste your time

If I could give 10stars I would. Nate is a true gentleman and unbelievable artist. Even though my design was quite simple he realized the significance behind the tattoo and went thru great lengths making sure it came out beyond my expectations. Recently got a tattoo there with my mother for mother’s day. I have gotten four tattoos previously, all at different locations, and this by far was the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Both artists were patient, caring, and friendly. I felt comfortable and it made it by far the best tattoo experience! I highly, highly recommend!

The first impression starts with the first person you interact with.In my case, it was the guy at the front desk. While I sadly dont know his name, he definitely left a good first impression. His first impression was so good that it actually drove me to pick Lucid arts for my first tattoo.I was really nervous and didnt know what to expect. While I was waiting for my artist to set up, me and my boyfriend got the opportunity to talk with the guy at the front desk and he helped with alot of my anxiety. All 3 of us got to share laughs and shared good stories together before my tattoo begun and that was only the beginning of a great time.My artist was (and probably will be for a while) Craig. His space was clean, he played some music to set a good vibe for everyone, you could tell everything was fresh, he even put in a new needle in front of me and that truly gave me comfort. My boyfriend joined me in the room and they hit it off right away. Although I didnt do much talking, I was at ease listening to them enjoying their shared stories. My tattoo had detail in it to make it look like it was painted with a brush and craig made that happen. It truly looks like its painted on my arm and the details match up to the original.The price was fair (I was expecting to pay way more honestly), the customer service was excellent, the shop is very modern and beautiful, and everything about my experiance was above what I thought. I was even able to buy the after care stuff I needed at check out for $5.I recommend Lucid Arts to anyone- first time or big pieces. They do incredible work, will give you a good laugh and will make you feel right at home.

Expert artists but the price is a bit high. There is a $75 dollar minimum even when booking appointment it is required. The price per hour is a bit crazy I was told mid tattoo so always ask before hand. The work was incredible though but probably wont go back.

Great! Theyve got nice artists and I came through as a hybrid-walkin that they did right by. The front desk is very dillagent. I had a fun experience with my artist. Only suggestion would be to up the design of artistry in the waiting area and take advantage of a good reputation in this town, because there arent other shops here.
