Palace Art Tattoo

If youre looking to get a tattoo, I highly recommend Zack Barrett. He is an amazing artist and provides outstanding service. I wanted 3 tattoos, and he worked with me on all three to make sure I got the designs, the size and the exact placement I wanted incl. giving me advice to what would work best. Zack was super responsive and I felt very comfortable each time. Im thrilled with all three tattoos. The first time (and the first tattoo ever) he talked me through the whole process, so I knew exactly what to expect. The shop is nice and clean (hygiene seemed to be a top priority) and theres also a great vibe in there.

I just want to start off by saying this shop is top-notch, and it was very clean! I felt so welcomed by everyone in the shop. Zack Barrett was my artist and Im so glad I chose him! He was so kind to me. He provided great customer service and worked with me until my design was perfect! I can be picky and he had so much patience, and was very professional. Highly recommend going to Zack if you want fine line black and white work. He really is phenomenal.

What I wanted (left) vs. what I got (right). I’m absolutely devastated since this was supposed to be a memorial to my grandmother who passed. I did a walk-in with my mom and sisters and as you can see, it looks nothing like what I wanted. This took Brandon maybe 10 minutes or less and now I’m stuck with this non-circular, shaky line work, and horribly detailed tattoo that I will end up spending hundreds of dollars to remove or cover up.

Devon did mine and my mothers tattoos, he was extremely professional and took great care with sterilizing his station as my mother is diabetic. I am incredibly satisfied with the quality and price of my tattoo as well as the professional but welcoming shop and its artists. I would absolutely stop by palace again next time Im in Cali for additional work. Thank you guys!

Would give 6/5 stars if I could. We got our tattoos done by Zack, and he was both efficient and precise with his artwork; he’s a very talented artist and I would definitely recommend going to him for a tattoo.Zack and the rest of the staff here were all so incredibly friendly, and were so much fun to talk to. My friend and I came here for tattoos while on vacation, and happened to stumble upon this tattoo shop, and I’m so glad we did. They were patient in talking us through our tattoo designs to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The staff was so friendly and we had a great time talking to them while we got our tattoos done. Such a great vibe, and the tattoo work turned out so well. They made us feel right at home, and even gave us some Krispy Kreme donuts for the road (we don’t have Krispy Kreme in Mn where we’re from). Did a walk in for 3 piercings and was pretty nervous. Haven helped out right away with no wait. His space was clean and he was super friendly and comforting. He made me feel at ease. It was quick and painless. He even helped out my boyfriend with his nose ring that he has had for years that wasn’t turning. Excellent spot, and will be going back!

This place is great. Got my first ever ear piercing here from Haven. Very pleasant dude. I got the feeling I was in good hands when he took the time to get the initial pen marking just right and allowed me to adjust it if I wanted. I appreciated the thoroughness and his sense of self scrutiny -- all good artists/art practitioners have it. Stoked to come back and get a hoop put in.

Glen and his team of artists are beyond talented as well as professional. Look no further if youre in search for a tattoo that is going to look amazing as well as last a lifetime. Great people with good vibes and plenty of laughs to be had. Extremely clean environment which they also do piercings and a barber if your wanting a nice fresh cut. Thank you all!

I ADORE this shop. I went at first to keep my friend company while she got a belly button piercing. The piercer was very friendly and helped her not be too nervous, and went over everything she would need to know in regards to caring for her new piercing. That may be like something small, but I think its a basic thing to cover, and Ive been to shops that dont bother covering that, especially if they see you have other piercings. So, 10/10 for their piercing staff.I came back for myself because I saw how all of the staff interacted with each other and the customers. Everyone was hilarious and joking around with each other, and you were just basically treated like a friend. Personally, I dig vibes like that in a place as it puts me at ease if I can joke around with everyone, especially if Im signing up for something that is probably going to be painful. Their vibes/atmosphere get another 10/10 for me.I got tattooed by Dylan, who is an absolute GEM. She is always very patient with me when Im trying to think up a tattoo/potential styling for it. Shes honest with me when something may not translate well or age, and always seems genuinely happy to help me plan it out and perfect things. She takes her time with the tattoo and Ive loved every tattoo shes done of mine (Im at 3 from her so far) and am definitely going back to her for more. 10/10 for me on the service too.Tl;dr version is that I love this place and will definitely keep going back.

Ive gotten several tattoos from Jamie before, and just recently got my second lobe piercings from Haven. I love how clean it is here and how friendly the staff are. They make sure you get exactly what you want and its always good quality work. 10/10 would recommend.

Great spot I walked in and was pleasantly surprised at how good these guys are.. seems like all their artists know what their doing and would def recommend. Zach did my tat and he was quick and very light handed I barely felt a thing. Ill be coming back for a sleeve

I just got my first tattoo today very first one was super nervous but coming into a very professional very friendly atmosphere made me feel so much better seeing his process and how he got everything together to get my tattoo done and they were just trying to make me feel as comfortable as I can and I love the tattoo and they’re cute dog was there and super chill! I went to Palace art tattoo to get my existing tattoo touched up. After a very pleasant conversation with Glen the owner I was confident that this was the place to get this done. I felt at ease and comfortable. And with good music playing, I relaxed and had my best tattoo experience ever. This is a great shop for first timers. My only regret is that I didnt come here sooner.

Clean, creative, talented, and super friendly! Glenn West is respectful and courteous, and does amazing work. Were about halfway done and couldnt be any happier with a beautiful floral back piece weve just recently started. I have let him have free reign when it comes to color and detail on this piece. There is no need to look any further, Palace Art is the shop you are looking for and I definitely recommend Glenn to everyone.

It was my first time getting a tattoo, and they made the experience great. Really nice, clean shop, nice music, with beautiful artwork on the walls. The staff, (literally everyone who was working there) was amazingly friendly and everyone talked to me and was genuinely interested in the conversation. The tattoo I got is beautiful and of the highest quality, and I couldnt be more happy with it. You can tell they really take pride in all there work. Prices were fair. Will be going back to them again in the future, and I highly recommend them.

I went in to get an existing butterfly tattoo redone and to add a new butterfly. Glen asked me to find some pictures of what looked good to me. I sent the pictures and he used the ideas to come up with a beautiful new tattoo for me. He has a light touch that I really appreciated. I cant wait to go back for my next one. Palace art is by far the cleanest friendliest tattoo shop I have ever been to. Glenn West and staff are professional accommodating and an all around great people. I highly recommend anyone interested in tattoos visits them, you will not be disappointed. Five plus stars !!!!

I just want to say a huge thank you to Glenn West for my beautiful tattoo. He has gone above and beyond to design a perfect piece that represents my own craft of hairstyling. As I am a color specialist, I really wanted to portray that in my tattoo. Glenn created a color brush and blow dryer for me and made the brush come to life with actual water color behind it. He spent time putting little details into my tattoo and previewed it to me on his iPad which was very cool seeing it on their instead of a last minute only stencil on my arm. I sometimes find it hard to see what’s actually going on in a black and white stencil vs. an actual visual. He is an amazing artist and pays attention to detail. He was also able to bring together my other tattoos and blend it all into a fluent masterpiece that is still feminine and beautiful. I’m so grateful I was referred to him. As the owner of the shop, he made my experience a great one. Great conversations from him and his coworkers. One last thing that truly made my experience a great one is the shop is family oriented, and friendly, plus he came in on his day off to make sure he could fit me in since I am visiting home for the holidays. Thank you again Glenn. ( Btw. Every single artist in the shop is great, you can trust any of them to work on you for piercings and tattoos.)

Glenn just did an AMAZING hummingbird tattoo for me, and a much larger piece for my husband. Palace Tattoo is super chill, very reasonable, and all of the guys in the shop just make you feel comfortable. If youre looking for your first tattoo or something more involved you will be thrilled with what you get here. They really listen to what you want and what youre looking for.

I very spontaneously decided to come in to get a tattoo yesterday. I looked up Palace Art online and they looked legit and took walk-ins so I went in and Im so glad I did! everyone who works there is so chill and the whole place has super good vibes. glenn, the owner, squeezed me in between his appointments and was SO PATIENT while i tweaked the design. he also tattooed my ear and even though he had never done that before it looks great and was exactly what i wanted. if youre thinking about getting a tattoo, big or small, i would highly recommend coming here !!!!!!

My nose piercing fell out so I came here to have someone assist me in putting it back in. The piercer then told me he did not have the tools necessary to put in my piercing... (I went to another piercer who easily put it in). Overall the guy was rude and was just trying to get me to spend money on his jewelry.

Went and got my first tatoo by Glenn today. He did an awesome job. Made sure i was comfortable and took his time to make sure i was satisfied. Great music, and a very clean shop. I would definantly recommend this shop and tattoo artist. Thankyou again Glenn, i love my tattoo!

Very great experience at Palace Art Tattoo. My husband got an upper sleeve of a koi morphing into a dragon by the owner, Glenn West. It was completed in three sessions and each visit to the studio was very professional and a fun experience with great energy going on between the artists and clients. The paintings for sale are killer, too. Cant say enough good things about the art, the artists, the nice, clean interior. The reception area has sofas, a coffee table and books to read along with a good selection of coffee.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new artist to create a piece for me based off some old sketches and ideas I had ratteling around in my head. Glenn did a wonderful job compiling all my ideas into a phenomenal tattoo. His detail and coloring is top notch. I couldnt be any happier with the quality of his work.Palace Art is a clean tattoo parlor. Its a fun place to get inked with all the types of personalities creating never dull moment.

Went in looking for longer barbells for my nipples, as a different shop set me up with ones that were way too small. Called ahead and even with it being close to closing time, the man who answered the phone was awesome. I didnt catch his name but he was a younger gentleman, upon arriving and even being minutes from closing they hooked me up and even put in a new set of barbells to help with the healing that was causing me some serious problems.I used to head way out of town for my work, but this place has earned a place with me for future business!

Friday the 13th I got a Rick tattoo from Rick and Morty. It was cheap and they were doing literally hundreds of tattoos but Glenn took his time and gave me a tattoo Im WAY stoked on. Ill definitely be going back there to finish the rest of the piece on my arm. If you need a piercing, Haven is super knowledgable and pierced my girlfriends nose like a pro. Go check these guys out.

Well good morning everyone this is my message to you Im sure this is a nice place I did see Glenns work online and I was very impressed and what I saw try to reach out to him on four different occasions I guess this this is not the place for me very hard to get ahold of anybody Im leaving messages and messages and only once time did he call me back and it was just a text and I said lets set up an appointment I guess they dont need the money you know you guys count on our business to come to you for tattoos this one thing in the afternoon that just doesnt really work for me Im only off Monday and Tuesdays I tried to get an appointment and it just doesnt seem to be in the Stars so I will look elsewhere thank you very much Im sure you have a nice shop but Im done

Whatever you do, DO NOT get a piercing here. The piercer is either an imbecile who doesnt know what hes doing or he is a liar.... neither of which make you good at your craft. He pierced my nipple too deep on one side and instead of owning up to his mistake, he tried to convince me I had developed a keloid scar which was causing my problems. Thanks to him I am out $60 and have a permanent scar from where I had to let the holes close. He also used the wrong type of bar. Honestly just terrible terrible service, would never recommend this place to anyone. Would give it zero stars if that was an option.

Great experience. They gave my daughter options on holding a stuffed animal while getting her ears pierced. They didnt rush they took their time with her and even tried chatting it up with her to make herfeel comfortable.

My 14 yr old son got his ears pierced. Everything was clean, and Casey was patient and precise! Great experience!

Super upset I called to set up a time to get a tattoo and they told me to just come In so I did. I came in and looked in there book then I talked to a guy told him what I wanted. then no one had time for me that day so they took my number and I told them what I wanted and they said that they would call me it has been over 7 day and still havent heard anything from anyone to get my tattoo all I wanted was some words put on me I guess Im a waste of there time super sad!! Will not ever go back to this place and will not recommend any as well lack of customer service
