The Ink Spot

I have had all of my work done at The Ink Spot and thought I had a great relationship with the shop. Just tried to call and schedule an appointment and was met with one of the most rude individuals. I was simply inquiring about open spots and I was told “I just told you we didn’t have any openings, did you not hear me?”My entire family gets work done here; we come from a military background, and I will be encouraging them to find another shop. Such a shame to me, I genuinely enjoyed the people and the atmosphere of the shop. I will search elsewhere.

Tyler has done some amazing work on me! I asked him if he could do a Celtic wrist band and he said he didnt do much Celtic work. He does now! His work is phenomenal! Nice crew, clean and professional. Give them a shot!

Fantastic shop gull of awesome people who also happen to be amazingly talented artists. Ive had the privilege of becoming friends with some of the artists here and always recommend them to anyone looking for a great tattoo experience with phenomenal work in a clean and hilarious environment. The conversations during every tattoo Ive had there have been hilarious or entertaining at least.

I’ve been a client of InkSpot since 2017 and refuse to go anywhere else. They are friendly, clean, have great artists, and you’ll always have a hell of a conversation when you are in the shop! I’ve always left smiling and loving my new artwork. Emily is my go to gal, but every artist here is fantastic! They truly care about their clients and community. InkSpot is a 12/10 in my book!

Mindy did a GREAT job with a cover up. Plus shes cool and has good energy. Im scheduled for 2 more tattoos. For now....

I am in absolute LOVE with this tattoo. Its my first and as I was leaving I made another appointment for one on my collar bone/shoulder area. This tattoo is very symbolic to me. My best friend from high school created it from water colors. The date is my wedding date, July 29, 2007 and His Bride is what my husband has called me for the last 13 years. He passed away in December. Covid took his life, he was just 38 but an autoimmune disorder weakened his body. We had decades more to live together.Anyways, Emily Tucker brought my friends image to life on the inside of my wrist. She was good with me. We took breaks and she put some numbing agent on me during the shading which is what actually hurts IMO. This is it the evening of me getting it done. Its not as swollen as I expected or as painful after, not even sore. Same the next day. This was a 5-star experience and not just the tattoo. The place was clean, their equipment was clean. The atmosphere was great. The employees are a hoot. Im looking forward to going back and getting another tattoo done in honor of my husband and our daughter.

Had 3 appointments scheduled, my wife, son and me, my first tattoo. Was scheduled for about a week, fee all paid, and 2 hrs before my scheduled time they call and say they were double booked. Ask me to reschedule or push my time back to the point I couldnt make it. Im sure they do great work but I wont be rescheduling. Wprst part is I took off work and missed out on earning money for nothing.

Love it and will keep going back. I have the fortine cookie and the wolf one done and my mother got hers done by Tyler Rowden. I highly recommend him to give you a tattoo.

I have multiple pieces of art from this studio and each one of them is fantastic. The expanded studio in Troy is very comfortable. Great atmosphere with lots of interesting conversation and good music. Very clean and safe.

Got a memorial tattoo done for my grandmother who recently passed. Emily did an amazing job and really blew me away using just the couple of pictures I had for reference. Won’t be going anywhere else for my ink! Thanks Emily and team for a wonderful experience !

My wife and I are both getting alot of work done with these professionals! Great work and great people! Tyler is taking care of our ink and we are very impressed and he is so very passionate about his work and making sure it is exactly how you want it and where and at the perfect angle! All of the other artists in this shop also have a true passion for what they do and, from what I have seen, are all very capable of meeting your needs! Thank you very much Tyler and thank you to all the staff there for such a great atmosphere and so many laughs! Cant wait until our next session! Super great experience, kind workers, I got my septum pierced there today and it was a good time, pretty painless and quick, wasn’t crooked or anything and he talked me through it. Overall 10/10 experience, would like to be o there again!!

Called and talked to a woman about my 14 year old getting a nose piercing. She told me no problem as long as we had a birth certificate and my drivers license. We show up at 12:30 and no one is there, even tho the website says they open at 10am. So we waited and then they said they couldnt pierce her at 14. This is twice Ive called and they said they would do something and then show up and they wont do it so we drove to a different place and got it done with no problem.

Very friendly atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff about all my 1,000s of questions.for my 6 piercings and Im looking forward to getting my first tattoo next week. 😁😊

Ive gotten a fair bit of work done from Ink Spot. I got my septum pierced about 7 years ago and it was a quick and proffesional experience. After that I went in for a tattoo done by Robby he got it done so quick I was amazed and it has healed beautifully and still looks perfect 2 years later. I just saw Emily this week for another tattoo and she was amazing. The tattoo was everything I wanted and it was quick and reasonably priced. I have never had a bad experience with ink Spot!

I had a wonderful experience! Mindy did an amazing job designing my first tattoo for Autism awareness, she was so sweet and very easy to talk to. I will definitely be back to get my next one with her!

Have gotten tattoos here and love them, I am always complimented on my tattoos and people always notice how colorful they are! The people here at this place are great and will continue to keep you laughing or at least smiling from the moment you arive to the time you leave. Good people that do good work.

Awesome people, great atmosphere, and they did my tat at the last minute with no appointment. Nicole did my tat and it was very crisp, clean, and excellent. It was my 1st time getting a tat there and Ill definitely be back for more. Big Dave is great and has a great shop.

Ive had multiple bad experiences with this shop the last one ending in my little sister getting uneven piercings that were so tight we had to go to another shop to get the right size piercings and eventually had to remove them they were so uneven. There are good artists in this shop if you dont mind taking a gamble and getting bad attitude.

When I visit an establishment , I pay attention to detail and obviously so does Ink Spot because they targeted ,hit, & nailed everything that I was looking for & more.... & the best part being an active member of society is they stay open late so I was able to put in a good day at work, take care of my family, and still had time to get first class service at a very clean facility.. my tattoo artist name was Nicole and she pinpointed the exact style I was looking for... a side note she said give me a second and she had someone clean and sterilize her station for her... thats the little things that I notice .. cleanliness!!! I was very impressed

Amazing artist I didnt get his name, but it was first seat to the right! So i came in bc i had pulled my diamond out my dermal n needed some help!!So he offered to help with no charge, well while he was doin that i had asked him about covering the name on my face, so He freehand a cover up on my face n did GREAT! U CANT EVEN SEE THE NAME I HAD ON MY FACE ANYMORE! It was a lil more than I expected but it was worth it!

Ive gotten 2 tattoos here and my daughter just got her ears pierced there, they are always so kind and patient and they all are great artist.

I have had four tattoos done at this location in Troy Missouri. Two by Nicole Peterman, and two by Tyler Rowden. All four of them are excellent quality, beautiful, artistic, well crafted tattoos. Each one of them draws the attention, and admiration of others. More importantly, they are exactly what I asked for! The shop itself is clean, the staff is friendly, accommodating, and always available to help. I highly recommend the Ink Spot.

I’ve payed full price on some piercings and a tattoo for them both to end up less then mediocre. The placement on my piercing was so off to where you could see the jewelry under my skin. Terrible job. Also I Nicole, the ink spot “doll” terrible attitude. She messed up my tattoo in such a ridiculous manner. A simple sun, she made it with a straight line... like what... it’s a sun dude, literally a circle, you didn’t even free hand it you just had to trace it. Worst tattoo shop I’ve experienced. Best place to waste money if you want something with little to no quality.

Three of us got tattoos.My boyfriend and myself already had tattoos.It was my daughters first,she was a bit nervous.Tyler made her feel comfortable and it was a wonderful experience for her.We loved his work!!!!!

Had an appointment there with Robby to get a tat, but because I chose to go to the emergency room with my daughter instead it cost me $50 and nothing to show for it. Couldnt pay me to go there now
