Hiwa Tattoo

Jordans knowledge of understanding what people want in a tattoo is utterly amazing. From the time you book an appointment to explain what you want to the product that he presents is filled completely with care, patience, and expertise beyond any expectations. Jordan has a very welcoming and kind demeanor that allows you to feel comfortable in explaining and going into detail so you will get exactly what you want. Trust that the final product will be beyond your expectations. I will continue to seek out Jordan for future work. My friends are also going to look into him to do thier tattoos as well. Also, his shop is extremely clean and well sanatized. You can tell that he takes pride in upkeeping the cleanliness and condition of all of his equipment as well as his entire store. Highly recommend, without a doubt. Look nowhere else. Thank you so much, Jordan. Truly blessed!!

Excellent and Brilliant Artist a truly authentic Traditional Polynesian Tattoo Stylist. True to his craft and true to his heritage. A fine example of the execution of the Dark Arts (Black & Grey Ink) Had a full sleeve done in three 8 hr long sittings. A very special memory. 🤙🏻

Jordan is the best, started with a calf sleeve several years ago, made it back to finish upper leg and hip. Jordan makes sure everything is right before starting. Best artist for what i want. Will always come back for more.

Id been searching for an artist to add to my story through a tattoo. Recently, I got a forearm tattoo and realized I wanted to expand on the narrative. I stumbled upon Jordan Wolfes website and was immediately captivated by his personal story. His unique perspective resonated with me, and I knew hed be the perfect artist to help me create the tattoo I envisioned. The online booking process was straightforward. Given Jordans popularity, I didnt get an appointment till a month out. In the meantime, I did my research on the piece I wanted, which would be different and unique from other hand tattoos Ive seen.Finding the studio wasnt difficult at all. However, the location might make you think twice, as its situated in an industrial area right above a mechanic or a construction company. On the day of my appointment, I was anxious. Id only heard about the high pain level associated with getting a tattoo on your hand. For me, the location didnt matter. It would hurt regardless. Even after three tattoos, I thought Id be a little tougher, but nope, each one seems to be more painful. And this hand tattoo took the cake! It hurt like a mutha!!The painful, excruciating experience lasted about an hour and a half. I can now confirm that hand tattoos are indeed as painful as everyone says.My overall experience with Jordan was professional and friendly. I loved that I could give him a relatively vague idea, and he would take it and create a unique and personalized piece that incorporates my desired elements. My tattoo is definitely a statement piece. I highly recommend Jordan at Hiwa Tattoo if youre looking for a tattoo. His work is amazing and detailed, and I plan on going back to him again soon for more unique pieces, even if it means enduring more pain. LOL!

Jordan did amazing. I was kind of last minute (like two weeks out) and coming in from TX. I have an existing stencil tattoo I really wanted reworked and redone with a tribal design, and I didnt really have any other tattoo artist in TX that had comfort with that design, and plus my stencil was rather small so it was going to take careful attention to fill it all in. He was super quick and nice. Loved the design the first time. I am super happy with the result, and have to say this guy is the BEST

Jordan and Regina of Hiwa Tattoo run a professional tattoo business with a true Hawaiian spirit. They made my first tattoo experience a breeze from their on-line scheduling process to email reminders to guiding me through a design that reflected my desire. The results far exceeded what I imagined. I highly recommend a visit to their Hawaii location or follow them @HIWAWOLFE for a tattoo artist convention near you.

Jordan is an amazing artist and I love all the work he has done for me. He is very personable and easy to work with. He listens and understands what is desired and helps with giving input on final designs.

Great experience over all!I found it easy to work with the HIWA team to prepare for my appointment. When it came to creating the piece, Jordan had a strong attention to detail, making sure the design would fit properly and lead to great results. I provided a general concept and trusted his knowledge to crate the the details. I am honored to have this custom piece around my leg. The results are absolutely beautiful and I love it so much more than I thought I would. Absolutely recommend to anyone. As a business owner, I understand his location choice. Dont be dissuaded. It was great that the studio was private, allowing me to focus and be comfortable.

This was my second time seeing Jordan. He’s great, love my tattoo and my experience. He makes you feel comfortable and does amazing work.

Jordan is fantastic! I absolutely love the tattoos he has done for me. This is the second time I have gotten a tattoo from him. The booking process is easy and simple, and I appreciate the appointment reminders. Jordan took the time to lay the tattoo and make adjustments as needed. He is extremely thoughtful during the process: offering breaks, checking in, etc. I would recommend him to anyone. I will definitely be getting more work done from him!

Jordan was very understanding and incorporated what I wanted. He also answered all my questions and was very passionate with the answers. He was always making sure that I was comfortable and ready to proceed when things got too painful. His attention to detail was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better artist. Definitely coming back soon for more.

Jordan is truly the best! This was my first tattoo he has done for me, and my first traditional Hawaiian tattoo as well. Jordan was beyond accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to discuss my vision, and the culturally significant aspects and designs I was looking for. I came in with a certain vision of what I wanted and Jordan exceeded all of my expectations. I could not have been more happy and proud of how my tattoo came out!

Big shout to Uncle Jordan for going above and beyond. To be able to give you details of what Im looking for and then free handing my designs based off of a few words... youre truly an artist and I love that you put your heart and mind into what you do! Ill be seeing you again in the future...!

Thank you to my new spot HIWA tattoo Jordan Wolfe. I was close to getting this done here in Texas but no one here had a clue how to get started plus they wanted to charge me one of my testicles to do it. I had to visit family on Oahu so I decided to look at the motherland of Polynesian work. I assumed if Texas was taking one of my kids as credit that Hawaii would leave me without kids....lol....nope not the case I got what I wanted and even more than I expected. Jordan went above and beyond and did it to my schedule of only having a week on the island. Dont hesitate on the name as you probably expect like I did a Samoan name on the reviews....Jordan is an Island Boy and no not those weird idiots who cant rap this guy is legit. Also do no hesitate on the location of his shop....remember the best Tacos come from the hole in the wall places....Waikiki is not where you want to go....let the tourist deal with that. Love you brudah cuz! I will be back! Not like Arnold either.

Jordan is an awesome guy with an excellent work environment. It is a place of Aloha and makes you feel comfortable during a tattoo. He is a one of a kind artist and has always left me in disbelief after the art he has given to me.

Jordan is super awesome, friendly, and gives great tattoos. Highly recommend you give this shop a chance. I have a few tattoos and this turtle is one of my favorite ones. Very reasonable prices for the high quality of work.

Jordan was absolutely incredible. Great advise, suggestions and willingness to work with me. Used all the ideas I had and made it into art, and took time to share cultural details about it all. Facility was clean. Regina was easy to work with and they were both very helpful in making this tat happen for me. Ill be back to get more work done for sure!

Hiwa Tattoo sorry for such a late review.I want to thank Jordan and Regina for the awesome work that was done! I’m so happy with the art work that Jordan did for me!!! True artist at work!! Can’t wait to come back and get more ink done!!!Regina thank you so much for getting back to me at such short notice and finding the time to squeeze me in before I left!!!!Jordan thank you so much for the wonderful piece that you did for me. I get compliments every time someone sees it! I will def be back for more work until then be safe and thank you so much!!!!Tony

Jordan is an excellent tattoo artist and just a chill braddah! He was able to take me in with short notice and he was able to incorporate his piece with my current one with detail and Im ecstatic with the results. Hell make you comfortable the whole time. I recommend him 100%!!

Probably one of the best places to get a tattoo. Jordan is such a nice guy and an amazing artist!1000% recommended

Absolutely brilliant! The staff are absolutely lovely and so caring! Me and my boyfriend went in a couple of hours ago to have piercings and the staff were more than happy to hold a conversation and were so caring and lovely! The piercer herself is so chatty and the other tattooists are also more than happy to communicate and get involved in the conversation. I had a conversation with the tattooist about a tattoo I would like and he put across even more ideas for me, also saying that I can email my design across and he can sketch something similar up for me for no extra charge if I wanted something similar but unique. I would HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend this studio to anyone! :)

Very great service and communication, tattoo came out beautiful. 10/10 recommend and would go back!!

Amazing, Talented Artist. Professional, courteous, and kind. And a HUGE PLUS is the studio was CLEAN! Having gone to a number of other locations - if the working space is PILAU that alone SPEAKS VOLUMES about integrity! Im going in to get a Memorial Tattoo NOT a Memorial Tattoo and SCABIES! Hiwa Tattoo IS the place to get quality work done by Artist that know their craft!

First sitting of many. Jordan is legit one of the nicest, most talented artists Ive had the pleasure of sitting with. If you want Polynesian and Asian tattoos that are amazing; than you need to see Jordan.

Great place to get tattooed. Clean, bright and easy going environment. Jordan is a fantastic artist.

My wife & I both went here for our FIRST tattoos and the experience was beyond Excellent! First went there in person for a consultation and they were more than helpful, also were able to easily work around my schedule for an appointment. On ink day, we were fortunate to get a call to let us know we could come earlier if we wanted to, as the appointment before ours finished early. This gave us time to get to know the artist a little, he is as LOCAL as they come and has Da ALOHA Spirit! Nothing but laughs and talking story while prepping to get inked. He took the time to explain his work and what mofit we were going for. Impressively free handed the sketch to the canvas (for my tat) and let me inspect it and give my feed back. I had previously brought designs in which I got from a difficult to find tattoo book (which he also had) and he capture the exact look I was going for with my custom design requests. Judging from his website and his Facebook website with tons of positive reviews and BADASS ink work, I knew wed both be happy. My wife is already talking about going back for a second tattoo!Overall: Nice studio, very clean (we walked in just as an inspector was finishing her inspection), Great service! Great Artist- easy to talk to, mellow guy, good communication skills, makes you feel comfortable, and gave excellent explanations of the tattooing process. Will definitely go back again in the near future! Check out his Facebook site for more up-to-date reviews!

Friendly, great response time, tattoo is cherry

Went for a last minute tattoo on my arm and it was an amazing experience. They were kind enough to give me a ride after my session even though they had an event that night. Thank you and cant wait to return for a sleeve.

Brandon is the man!! Steady hand, clean lines and absolutely beautiful designs. This is the place to go if you want quality work!

Jordan did a cover up for and it came out lit. Highly recommend you check him out. Awesome service
