I absolutely LOVE Xclusive INK IV....the whole atmosphere there rocks and the people are extremely cool, professional and easy to talk to! I went and got 3 tattoos done by Angel and shes amazing! Absolutely love her vibe and her work! She is very professional and makes sure to check in on you that your comfortable throughout!I HIGHLY recommend this shop if your looking for great work in a chill environment!! I started getting tattooed a couple years ago, I have gone back to them every single time. All of their artists are highly talented. Every artist has care for their clients and the energy in the shop is a breathe of fresh air.

Such a relaxed and professional environment. I worked with Ilhan on my tattoo and it came out SO beautiful, I couldnt have asked for anyone better to help it come to life. She was so sweet and passionate when it came to everything including adding details into the design that made it so much better and cohesive and made sure it was placed in the best spot even if it took a couple tries. You can tell how much she loves what she does and I cant wait to go back to her. 💜

Angel, the artist at Wallingford, is absolutely amazing and ethereal. Only had the pleasure of getting tatted by her once but she has a returning client for life. She makes you feel so comfortable in her presence and her work speaks for itself. Looking forward to seeing her again.

The place is so clean and so cool. When I got there a scary movie was playing. Javier came to me right away and drew up my tattoo. He made sure I had water and was comfortable and kept checking on me throughout the process. It did not hurt, and went by quickly. When we were finished he told me how to care for my tat and told me to call with questions. Everyone I dealt with including Javi was super sweet! Best experience and I love my tattoo, it looks amazing!!!

Worst experience, artists if you can call them that have no skill, they dont listen, management didnt care their people did absolute terrible work. They do what they want to make a dollar. 100% do not recommend I had to find a real artist and pay to cover their garbage.... stay away if you value your skin and money. If I could give zero stars I would.

Wallingford location is AWSOME !!Especially M, I have 2 tattoos by her and am currently sitting at Xclusive ink to get #3 by her. Friendly environment, fair pricing and amazing talent!!!

My 17 year old daughter passed away this past July. Jay worked with her brothers to come up with a tattoo that represents her. So far, he has done the tattoo on 5 family members. The last one will be her best friend. He is a true artist...and so kind. Everyone has been wonderfully kind.

Highly recommend anyone looking for new work or a new shop to check out Xclusive Ink. The Wallingford shop was extremely clean and has an amazing staff. Tony was beyond anything I could ask for and had awesome energy. 7+ hrs in the chair and it felt like hanging out with an old friend the entire time. Xclusive is definitely my go to from now on.

I had been recommended to Xclusive Ink by so many people and I finally decided to check them out. To keep it simple I was extremely pleased! I have definitely found my favorite tattoo shop and my favorite tattoo artist.. Jay was absolutely phenomenal! I will 100 percent return for my future tattoos. Go see Jay you will not be disappointed! I could not be more happy with my artwork and my experience there. Thank you again Jay!

I was able to book a tattoo by messaging on instagram (easier for me than calling) and communicating what I wanted with the scheduler. For a small tattoo during their $70 special, I was able to book later the same day with one of the newer artists at the Wallingford location (newest location). I haven’t gotten a tattoo in several years and wanted something small that I’d been thinking about for a while, and Ilhan did a great job with everything from reviewing the photos I brought in to helping me pick a font and making adjustments to the design and placing the stencil. I appreciated how they explained that my arm skin would stretch and move when I showed the tattoo to people so the stencil should be placed for certain way, and that was a lot different than when I had my foot done. The details of overlapping lines, and such were executed very well, and I definitely will come back for another tattoo from Ilhan!The Wallingford location was clean and well run. All the chairs are in one central room, but it was pretty quiet and you couldn’t hear the other people/artists taking, even with 3 artists working that day. There was a bit of a wait before my appointment, which honestly I’m completely fine with because I was the last appointment of the day and wouldn’t want someone rushing through my appointment/tattoo!For a larger tattoo requiring more design work and where I wanted a specific artist, the wait in my case for a 3 hour appointment was about 3 weeks, which I find totally reasonable. I have plans for a second appointment and will definitely continue to use XI and their artists for my tattoos!

I went with my friend and her sister, and both the atmosphere and the tattoos were a vibe. Highly recommend!

Ilhan - La Huracán firstly that name drew me in!!! I was so excited to find a fellow Latina to make my vision into a reality. Ilhan exceeded my expectations. The way she listened and created my tattoo. A true artist and visionary. And can I say the least painful of all my tattoos!!! Can’t wait to go back and keep adding to my arm piece. Thank you

I went and got tattooed by Ilan and truthfully, Ilhan is someone who’s performance and personality cannot be contained within a few words. She is an absolute angel and I’m forever grateful for the tattoo she did on me for my kitty who passed away so suddenly. I didn’t expect to cry the way I did, but it was absolutely healing and I’m forever grateful for Ilhan for being a healer for me that day. She deserves nothing but the best in this world 🥹❤️❤️❤️Thank you for everything Ilhan!

I recently visited a tattoo shop in CT, and I have to say, it was one of the best tattoo shop Ive ever been to. The artist I worked with was truly incredible - they took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life in a way that was beyond my expectations. The level of skill and attention to detail was unparalleled, and I couldnt be happier with the finished product.The staff at the shop were also amazing. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment I walked in the door, and they were always available to answer any questions I had. They took care of me every step of the way and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was unforgettable.Overall, I cant recommend this tattoo shop enough. From the amazing artist to the incredible staff, everything about my experience was absolutely perfect. If youre looking for a tattoo shop in CT thats truly the best of the best, this is the place to go.

Kat was awesome. We had 6 people at one time for remembrance tattoos, and they were so accommodating considering the last-minute circumstances. We all enjoyed the quality of her work and how personable she was. Id definitely come back again.

I get my first tattoo with Ilhan, the experience was best that I thought. She is very kind, professional and the lines are amazing. If you are a newbie’s as I was I recommend you to come and visit XCLUSIVE INK, everybody is amazing, the vibes and everything is more than clean.

I made an appointment at 2:30 ( feb 14, 2024) sat there until 2:50 and the front desk person told me it would be another 30 minutes until I would receive a tattoo. When I specifically scheduled an appointment for 2:30. So I just got up and left, Very poor service and will not be coming back.

Jay did a cover up piece on my lower leg. He is truly an artist. I was told by others that I would have to do black and gray for the cover up but I had my heart set on color. Jay was able to do just what I wanted in color! 100% recommend! I will be back for my next tattoo!

Ilhan did matching tattoos for my mom, myself, and my daughter. We chose a fine line tattoo of a sunflower that my mom grows and her handwriting as the stem. Ilhan did an INCREDIBLE job. Just had my second tattoo with Havi today. Once again, I was not disappointed. Super nice guy and easy to work with. I got an armband and I’m very pleased. He also touched up another tattoo I got from a different studio.

I walked in with my coworker as this place is next door to my work, my experience just as an observer was amazing. We were just making an appt but the gentleman at the front desk was so nice and answered all of her questions. (Even my annoying ones lol) Even when I butted it lol. (She’s a little indecisive so I was helping her out.) but he was cool as hell. Being very patient with her.The atmosphere is amazing. I LOVE the way it’s decorated. Just that right there made me want to get a tattoo ( surprisingly i don’t have any but Im thinking about it)This is so random but I saw the oils they had next to all the business cards and starting asking about that. He was nice enough to not dismiss me and told me there was coconut oil in them and I asked the cost and he said I can have it and I was so taken aback. Something for free and I’m not a customer? Gobsmacked!!!!! (I was also randomly telling him how I thought I was getting excema and was told to use this by someone lol) And he didn’t have to entertain my questions or comments bc I wasn’t the one there for the tat but he did and that’s excellent customer service. I will tell my fiancé and anyone I know about your place!

Besides my first two, all of my tats were done at the Wallingford location by Jay & I’ve had no issues. The employees are friendly and the workplace is clean.
