I have been coming here for many years, have gotten all of my ear piercings here and always been treated very well by all employees, I stopped by on this past Sunday, One of my piercings was extremely inflamed and the diamond stud was actually inside the hole, one of the ladies suggested trying the saline spray I purchased the spray and began using it that night, after two days, between the saline and my turning the back of the earring and wiggling it around, as of today my ear is completely healed, these ladies saved me a trip to the E.R., thank you so much

Why does the manager Chris at Crystal Mall still have a job there? She beyond rude and unapproachable and its been this way for YEARS! Her behavior is unacceptable and i am disgusted that Banter (previously piercing pagoda) upper management has not addressed the countless reviews SPECIFICALLY about this individual. Ive been buying jewelry from there since 16 and im 38 now. They have lost a loyal customer because i spend thousands and thousands of dollars a year there but no longer. Im taking my money to Super Jewelers from here on. Corporate do something about this manager.

The lady there was yelling at my 99 year old grandmother to pick out a set of earrings so that she could get her ears pierced. My grandmother is almost blind and wheelchair bound. I told her to calm down and not yell at my elderly grandmother. We should have left that crazy lady but I was pressed for time. Will never go there again nor that crystal mall. Most of the stores are half empty with undressed mannequins lying scattered on the ground. Straight out of the Twilight Zone!

I avoid the manager Chris at the Crystal Mall location because she is extremely rude and standoffish. There are countless negative reviews about this manager why is she still working there. Shame on you Banter of Piercing Pagoda. Please someone in corporate rectify this for your customers.

I bought my husband a “14k gold chain” TODAY for his birthday and it broke TODAY. Poor quality jewelry and will be returning for our money back tomorrow! Chain was almost $400!! My husband bought me a necklace years ago from another jewelry store that is much thinner and has yet to break. Very disappointed and do not recommend.

The older lady with the curly hair (I’m assuming is the manager) is super rude. She refused to give me an exchange for a chain that I bought as a gift for somebody that wasn’t long enough (btw I have warranty on this $500-600 chain). Everyone else besides her is respectful and nice. Why is this position filled with such an ignorant manager?

Woman working with dark curly hair was so unbelievably rude! She would never make it in any retail establishment in have managed. This womans poor attitude and lack of respect cost her business money and it is unacceptable for any one in retail to treat customers the way me and my sons were treated here.

We got the babies ear pierced I informed the sales lady that we sis not want the cleaning solution and she charged it anyway.Their prices is ridiculous charging per individual piece as oppose to the pair. Their earnings are more expensive than Macy’s or JCPennies.Today after returning the item, I was questioned about how I plan to Clara. The babies ears and the was told that she had to do the whole transaction over. So I had to go back to the store with my daughter and grand baby twice because this lady didn’t want to issue me the refund!I will never give them my business again... rude and unprofessional treats the customer like I was wrong.Bad Service!

Very disappointed with this kiosk in the mall. On march 24th i purchased a piece of jewelry from the kiosk and upon purchase was asked if i would like to buy the warranty and I asked what the warranty covered and was told by associate 61415 that the warranty would replace lost or broken jewelry and the only reason i decided to purchase the warranty because i lose stuff easily. im very disappointed and frustrated because i know what i was told and the manager I spoke with on the phone today basically tried to tell me that I’m wrong and no employee would say what was said to me because the warranty doesn’t cover lost jewelry. Literally the only reason i said yes to the warranty is because i’m so clumsy and misplace things all the time. I also did not appreciate the way the manage was speaking to me on the phone, seems like she didn’t care about helping come to a resolution for the mistake YOUR employee made. I will be calling the corporate number also to let them know the terrible experience I had and that your employees should be more friendly to the customers that decide to purchase from here. I spent $70 and feel as though i was scammed out of my money because i was misinformed on your policies.

Staff was not helpful when I asked her questions about nose rings. Stood at counter for some time before she looked up from the game on her phone before she acknowledged me. Went back 3 times after getting the wrong size and she ended up directing me to another store.

The manager there currently with brown curly hair & glasses is VERY rude I feel like all she cares about is making you get a credit card or a warranty and not actually helping with the jewelry because she’s super pushing and gets upset when you refuse. I’ve had a handful of friends say the same things about her. If I ever need anything from there, I try and go with she not working. Horrible customer service from a manager...

My daughter got her ears pierced for her birthday in January. The holes were spaced very uneven from her first set of holes. I knew one hole needed to close completely before going back to fix them. We went back yesterday to ask about the policy when these types of things happen. The manager(?) snapped at my daughter Is there a lump still? There was not. I could not figure out was she was being so mean. I was willing to repay for it to be redone, but I simply asked what the process was...like nicely. Kris was the nastiest person I have ever come across in retail. Beyond her rude tone and words, her body language made it quite clear that she hates her job and everyone she comes into contact with. I repaid (for 2 piercings because you cant get one, whatever) and she then was pissy that I didnt pay for the more expensive earrings!! Seriously? I wasnt going to let this nasty B ruin my Mothers Day though, so Im keeping my cool and we continue. She realigns the hole and we agree it is better. My daughter asked to have me come inside to hold her hand. THIS NASTY HUMAN BEING REFUSED!! She said We cant have everyone in here grabs my daughters earlobe and pulls the trigger on the piercing gun before I could respond!! I was so shocked, I asked (again nicely) what was your name again? This woman paused for a solid 10 seconds. She said I never gave you my name. I said, Oh, can I have your name please? She paused for another 5-10 seconds before she gave the name Kris. People, stay away from this place.

This woman that works here is ignorant . Rude and completely horrible to deal with! I’ve been here a few times and every time it’s very horrible experience with this woman. She sits on her phone she talks with an attitude…I can’t believe this lady even has this job!

Worthsssss customer services ever ! @ crystal mall in Waterford ct ! The lady was rude, discriminan, and not professional at all ...I would it say @ this location because & I am loyal customer of pagoda from differences states... I had the worths experience with a lady that we set a appointment to get piecing & went there 4 times but unfortunately never get the services we want ! So we end up going to Claire’s !

Such a bad experience!!!! Bought some earings there and the protection...but since it doesnt cover replacement i went today to return the protection....by the way she already lost the earings that cost $60...since i was returning the protection she gave me an attitute but what she didnt know it was that i was buying more earing...i then asked her a question about my daughters piercing and she looked at me like i had 5 heads...at the end i ended up buying the earing for my daughter only cause she need it them but i was so close to walking away withought buying anything...my husband was so upset wuth the representative he wanted me to leave withought buying anything...i felt horrible aftee leaving i work at customer service and this is not the way on treating a customer...people like that shouldnt work at customer service...never going back there again!!!! Get another job if you dont like yours....

AWFUL! I’ve bought earrings here last year and then again a couple months ago at the Crystal Mall location. The lady I dealt with both times was VERY rude and had absolutely no customer service skills. She’s lacks knowledge in jewelry as I asked her what size gauge an earring was. I was looking for an earring for my tragus and one for my rook and she didn’t know what they were (which if you work for a jewelry place I assume you should know that). A month and a half later of wearing a piece of jewelry that I had to guess if it was for a rook piercing or not has fallen apart, literally. Do not go here. Do not buy jewelry from here. They should just go out of business.

I would put this place in the negative if I could, the ladies that work there are so rude! They do not care about the customer at all! I went there to return something and the lady made it so awful that I will not be returning ever again. Horrible place to buy, due to my negative experiences.

They give you the worst back pieces for your earrings. The earrings fell off all the time and I even woke up to one earring off my ear without me taking them off. let alone the the two other pairs I lost just came from literally nothing, they end up just falling off your ear. I will NEVER buy earrings from here again. The back pieces SUCK SO MUCH

So unhappy with the service I had I went to go exchange my earrings after losing one side of it when I got to the kiosk nobody was there for about an hour we were walking back-and-forth waiting for someone to come there was no I’ll be right back sign or anything then once she comes back I proceed to tell her that I want to exchange my earring I lost one side and I had the other side she goes oh we don’t replace loss jewelry and I told her that when I had purchased it and paid for the warranty no one discuss the policy With me she told me that the policy covers it all Then I proceeded To go to the website of the company they decided to just brush me off like I was nothing as well told him I will be writing a bad review I’m not happy with the customer service they told me they filed a complaint but that still doesn’t do anything I paid for warranty for a pair of earrings that I cannot exchange or replaced because they don’t have a loss what does never discussed me and their policy at check out I’m not happy and I’m not OK even told me to buy a new pair of earrings I do not recommend BANTERS to anyone !
