Great Northern Tattoo

Absolutely love my tattoo by Josh. He was very patient and didnt pressure me to make a decision quickly whether to go color or black and gray. Shop is clean and in a good location. Will definitely go back!!

Ive gotten three tattoos now with Jake (the newer tattoo artist at Great Northern) and all have turned out so great. Hes a really rad, friendly guy with a truly unique artistic touch. He designed all three hes done for me and each were exactly what I was looking for. The last one (pictured) was a space filler on a weird area of the elbow and he was able to create something that worked perfectly. Definitely check out his work!

I gave Jake a description of what I was looking for and he came up with this. Its perfect. They also are a very reasonably priced place. I definitely recommend. And theyre weird and funny too so theyll keep you entertained while they tat you up.

Jake has done a nice job on two of my tattoos. He is pretty accessible for walk-in consultations and got me in within a week or so.

Tattoos are a huge part of my life. It takes a lot for me to point someone in the direction of an artist unless I am extremely confident in their work, and human ethics.I genuinely had a beautiful experience with Jake getting a tattoo for my daughter.I instantly put down another appointment in the booms because of his talent, workability, atriude and his how understanding and communicative he was.Both be and Jimmy are the type of person you want as a friend, A true friend in life.Jimmy is just starting up as an Apprentice.He also worked on me. He did a beautiful, clean, breathable tattoo. He is learning the right way!One of my 2 best friends is the owner od Aggressive Contraat. Joseph V has been in my life for 15+ years. Despite the Other artists who came in and out of the shop Joe always remained professional, put out beautiful work and continue to learn and grow as an artist.When I began getting our work done I wanted to have pieces from quite a few different artists.However, through the last 6 or more years I havent trusted anybody else to touch me.When I saw the work Jake was putting out As well as the shop in general.I immediately knew I would be coming in, Im getting work done. Its worth paying more than the friend. Price to get to meet these awesome new. Collect the piece of art from them. Ill definitely be back. Im still going to be getting work done from my friend.Some detailed work on thingsea is done. However, Im also excited to start this new tattoo relationship.Absolutely everything was a 10 out of 10 I couldnt be happier and i couldnt recommend.Jimmy or Jake more highly.

I am beyond happy with the tattoo I just had done. I drove from Illinois...a 2 hours drive because I saw the kind of work Jake did. Jake had an eye for detail and the shading was beautifully done. He took his time to make it exactly what I wanted. The facility was clean, neat and the atmosphere was welcoming. Thank you, Jake...I am beyond pleased. Needless to say, Ill be back!

This was my very first tattoo. I was pretty nervous but Josh was fantastic. He was extremely thorough, professional and definitely knows what hes doing. Plus we had a great time during the whole process. I came in with an idea and he knocked it out of the park. Definitely recommend Great Northern!

Jake Hardy is awesome - he is great at what he does, very professional and a great artist. I just gave him an idea of what I wanted and he drew me exactly what I wanted. I am blown away by the design and the tattoo overall. He did a fantastic job and I will absolutely be going back to him for my next tattoo. Highly recommend!!!

Super professional and really clean. I got a wrist tattoo with a copy of my dad’s handwriting and it looks perfect. Josh was very friendly and was very good about taking it slow since it was my first bigger tattoo and on a delicate spot. Overall it was an amazing experience, will be coming back hopefully soon.

Jake was amazing! So patient. Very thorough. He took the time to give me his honest opinion on what would work and look good and what wouldnt be optimal. Best consultation and tattoo Ive had and will definitely go back!
