This place is absolutely amazing. My wife got her sleeve done here by Chris. Made her feel like family and helped her figure out the best design. Would and do recommend this studio and Chris to everyone.

I came out to ink masters to see Stephanie Flores to do a piece for my brother who passed away from Covid….. she took my ideas and incorporated it into a beautiful tattoo that has so much meaning… Her line work is on point, her detail is spot on and this tattoo healed really fast… Going back to add to it….. Steph is my go to artist…. Highly recommended

Charles always does great work! The military rate cant be beat! Hes done several pieces for me. Met him in Florida then we both moved to Texas.Traveled 2 hours + to get his services.

Cliff killed it. He is a great artist and does great tattooing. I gave him a couple images and he came back a couple hours later with some amazing drawings. I definitely recommend getting a tattoo by him.

Tony did an amazing job on my tattoo outline, I cannot wait to go back & get the shading done! He is a pleasure to work with & has great ideas & designs! He also did my husbands tattoo, my mother in laws tattoo, & my friends very fort tattoo. They all loved him & love their tattoos!

The owner, Cyle, is super chill and will deliver THE BEST color realism! Don’t forget about Chris and his vibrant color pieces along with some of the best black and white artists around.Simply put, you won’t be getting any bad tattoos here!

Does amazing work. Ive never been about having 1 tattoo artist do all my work until he did one on me. Now Ill keep going back to him even though I have to drive 12hrs every time. He also did my wifes cover up and idk how the hell he did it but he worked his magic and made it happen. Really is awesome at what he does.

I just had my second tattoo with Tiffany at InkMasters. She was excellent, just like last time! By far the best experience I’ve ever had getting one. Very reasonably priced, especially considering her work. She worked with me before starting to get exactly what I wanted. As she was working, she allowed me to collaborate even more with her on color, location, and even style. I get like we worked together on it and she even said so. I think that’s rare in the world of ink for an artist to acknowledge when the client has something great to bring to the table. I will certainly be back (again).

I cannot say enough positive things about this shop and ALL of the artists here! i have received numerous tattoos by these award winning artists and their skills are impeccable! this is the most professional/friendly/clean shop i have ever encountered. the artists truly care about their clients and providing such care and detail in every piece! i have found the shop and group of artists i will see for the rest of my life!

I have been to ink masters multiple times. Before it was ink masters it was black rose and I got 2 pieces done there. I absolutely love them and loved the people working there. The shop owner is cool as can be!! I would love to eventually be able to get a piece done by him. His work is one in a million!!

Every single artist is incredibly talented and not only takes time to hear your thoughts and ideas but also puts forth amazing creativity that takes pieces to an entire new level. Every tattoo done there is done with passion and attention to detail. Well worth the visit!

My boyfriend and I came in for a tattoo session (for him) with Cliff Whatley. He did a BEAUTIFUL job and it looks amazing. During the session, I asked Cliff if piercings were done at this location. He had a really sweet girl come in and talk to me about piercings and pricing. I had gotten my ears pierced months prior and it was a sort-of disaster, so I was nervous - but she did such a good job. This time, the piercings did not bleed nearly as bad and they do not hurt or itch at all (it’s been a day later, which is usually when it’s the worst). I don’t remember her name, unfortunately. But she was great!

I’ve only had two pieces done so far, both by the same artist. Cyle Corse does excellent work and is very professional. My first piece is going on 4 years and I still get compliments on it to this day. I’d definitely go back!

This place was amazing, I drove 45 mins to be tattooed by Tiffany and she did not disappoint. I was extremely nervous because I wanted this tattoo to be perfect and it turned out I had nothing to worry about. This tattoo meant so much to me and it turned out beautiful. My son absolutely loved it! The music and awesome atmosphere was a vibe itself. If you’re going to get a tattoo please remember tattoos cost money, they won’t be cheap and your quote doesn’t include a tip for your artists effort, i will definitely be back for more art soon! I Recommend this place and specifically my artist to everyone looking for an artist that cares enough to pay attention to all details and your wants!!! I can only speak from my own experience but I’m sure all the artists here are good!Thank you to everyone here that spoke to me and made me feel welcome when I came in!

The quality here and customer service is worth 5 stars! My coworkers and I went in as a group of 4 and we all got our own tattoos at the same time. The staff was welcoming and more than willing to help with any and all questions. Luke, Tiffany, and Gabby did such a badass job on all our tattoos. Also, we accidentally overpaid the deposit twice and the only way we noticed was because the shop called us to let us know. These artists are honest and great to be around. I wanted my parent’s signatures forever. Luke did an amazing job! My mom’s signature is from my yearbook in 87 and my dads was from a bday card I had from the early 90’s. We went through 3 different ways it could look. He was patient and wanted to make sure that I was happy with the design. He is very personable and respectful. I will definitely go back for my next one.

I have been following Cyle Course for quite sometime. The colors are bold and beautiful, the work is so real you can taste it. Would love to one day get some of his work to show off.

My sister and I came into get sister tattoos of our birthdays and spoke to Chris Romero on December 13th. I paid $120 for mine and was pleased with how it looked when I left. Over the course of the healing process I noticed that the lines were thin, dull, and all together pitiful. The pigment ranged from dark to light like and inexperienced artists first job. I called to schedule a touch up with Chris Romero and he told me send an email and someone would get back to me. No one has responded to my email. A month later I called inquiring about the same tattoo and was told it would be an additional charge of $80. Why would I pay for something that should have been done in the first place?? Truly unprofessional. Beware of using this artist, you would want to spend your money elsewhere for better quality.(Before and today pictures)

I have seen sssooo many videos from this place. The tattoo artist are phenomenal I am obsessed with the tattoos that I see. I live in Oklahoma and I would totally drive to this location for the perfect tattoo guaranteed. I wouldnt want my tattoos done by anyone else but at ink masters of Waxahachie Texas.

Called to ask about minor piercings and pricing, receptionist stated the cost, need for two forms of ID for minor, and one form of ID for consenting parent.I have an VERY excited little girl.I drive all the way to then be turned away bc of my documents. My DL has my married name and my daughters birth certificate has my maiden, same addresses. They said I needed my marriage license to prove my last name to then prove I’m the consenting parent. 🙄Her other document I provided was a passport for her, not just a school ID….So she can travel anywhere in the world with me, but not get her ears pierced in Waxahachie. Even upon pulling up the Texas state laws and explaining how birth certificates work, I was refused.I would have been happy to provide any documents had they been explained properly to me prior to driving all the way.Waste of my time.Poor management from top to bottom. Felt sorry the clinician missed out on income today bc of poor communication and ignorance.I went to another local place and had zero issues.

Got a tattoo done there and looks nothing like what I asked for it was a memory tat for my mom who passed away there is no fixing it. I went there thinking I was going to get great work but I was completely wrong. I looked into the artist work which looked badass before setting appointment but what I got was not it. I fill like it was rushed and made easy money in less then 45 mins.

Chris did an awesome job on my wrist tattoo. He was very gentle and was very informative. My husband and I also got initials on our ring fingers and they turned out great as well. For a tattoo shop in a small town they exceeded my expectations! The staff is super friendly! Which can sometimes be hard to come by in tattoo shops. Ariel at the front desk was more than helpful and nice. Kyle was very upfront with my ideas for my finger tattoo and I like that the input was honest and guided me in the right direction. I want to thank Cyle for the amazing tattoo we finished last night. It has been a work in progress but the finished piece looks awesome! I have never been to a shop where customer services was a priority and it definitely is here. The quality of work here is amazing and I have already referred a co-worker who came away with and awesome cover up of an old tattoo. I got a half sleeve done by Dave today to cover up a small tattoo that I didn’t like and wow! I highly highly recommend going to see him or any of the artist here! They are all so professional and helpful and welcoming! While Dave was working on me other artist came by and added ideas that made it even better! I came in with a design in mind and Dave took it and made 10 fold better than what I had in mind and I am absolutely in love with how it turned out!! He paid amazing attention to every little detail and executed it flawlessly. It was my first “big” tattoo as I have more than a few small ones and he blew it out of the water!

Phenomenal, all the way around. I received my first tattoo yesterday and am over the moon with how it turned out. My tattoo required much detail and accurate shading to “look right” and it is spot on. The colors are so bold a vivid. Cyle did an amazing job. The staff were friendly, funny, and a joy to be around. They were very kind, attentive and accommodating. Only suggestion, make your appointment in advance! These guys are top notch and book 2 months out. I certainly don’t mind waiting for quality work and 2 months is nothing for something that will be on me for forever. ❤️To all the Ghost writers leaving random reviews… you guys have no idea the effect those reviews have on a business. A 4 star taints a business forever. If you had a good experience, leave a 5 star review. Don’t keep a good business from being able to have a good standing by leaving a 3-4 star review when you state you have had a good service, and certainly don’t leave a review if you haven’t ever even received a service. It’s hard enough to survive in the industry without tainted reviews. If you have never received a service or been a cleint don’t just leave a review to try and hurt a business. Owning a business and especially one of this classification is hard enough as it is. Don’t be the one that drives that nail further into the coffin.

First time in tonight. Tiffany did a great Tinkerbell for me in remembrance of my mom. Who loved all things Disney. Atmosphere was awesome the entire time. You walk in and you’re immediately greeted. Everyone was super friendly. I felt completely relaxed like I was hanging out with friends. My younger sister who didn’t even get tattooed said she had a great time.Will be back for sure.

Walked in for my nose piercing, she was excellent. I asked her how the pain would be and she told me everything that would happen and what the worst part was and she was exactly right. I don’t have a high pain tolerance and the needle itself was 5/10, putting the actual stud in was a little more uncomfortable but nothing terrible. Everything went by super quickly and she was super nice! Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting a piercing done.

Cyles work has to be the best Ive seen in a long time! Black Rose Tattoo is a very nice clean establishment with a friendly down to earth atmosphere. Cyle has always given me exactly what Ive wanted, I tell him my ideas in my head of what I want and he is able to bring them out in my tattoos. Ive never been disappointed with his work he has the smoothest, cleanest lines, and his shading makes his art work pop out to make the piece look absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the almost 7hour drive I take just to have him do my ink! I highly recommend him for any type of tattoo!

Update: they called my daughter personally and another artist is going to fix the heart. My friend and I got a tattoos the same day with Chris and loved them. The girl on the phone was very sweet and explained that he was a guest artist. Very happy that this issue will be resolved and was attended to very quickly.Daughter got her first tat done there about a week ago . Was a small red heart. Took off the clear cover and it wasnt even colored in all the way. You could still see skin between the border of the outline in places! Very unhappy. Her first experience will be the one she always remembers!

My first time at black rose and omg i love this place. first off, this place is so clean!! the lady at the front desk was super nice!!! very very respectful!! Then i meet my artist Chris. Right off the start, he explained everything about the process and what he was going to do! then threw out the whole experience he checked on me to make sure i was comfortable, if i needed anything, or if i was in pain. Bad ass place with some bad ass people, my artist was Sean who did a nightmare before Christmas piece on my leg, came in with one thing in mind and he took that gave some suggestion to put in the background and made the piece absolutely spectacular. Very knowledgeable people, with unbelievable skills. Towards the end there was a discussion on whether to add color in a certain spot of the tattoo and a guy named Cyle had some feedback on what colors would contrast the other, just straight up you knew the man knew what he was talking about with the work on his body and his knowledge of tattoos. Hope was very nice as well and seemed to be a very good assistance to my artist, always seemed as if she knew what the next step he would be doing was and she had what was needed already in place for him so he wouldnt skip a beat. I will definitely be returning to Sean for more work of mine I want done. Couldnt have had a better experience here.

I was referred by my mother to Sean at Black Rose. She had a horrid tattoo and he did an absolutely incredible cover up for her. My family jokes that Sean is our family tattoo artist, because hes tattooing my entire family and we wont let anyone else touch us. My first tattoo with him, I brought him a simple picture and asked if he could add a punk touch to it. He and I played around on Google Images for a while, and found the perfect industrial punk design. He did an amazing job, and he was so excited to be tattooing me the entire time. Hes extremely friendly and such a good person. The staff at Black Rose are very welcoming, Im so glad to have found this place!

Went for my birthday (Friday the 13th!) Was disappointed that they werent doing the $13 special this year, but honestly, they were very friendly, knowledgeable, and I absolutely LOVE the cleanness of the artwork (by Tiffany). Would recommend, and will be back for more!

I got my eyebrows microbladed by Sage and I am SO impressed! She is such an artist and genuinely cares about pleasing her customers. She was very easy to talk to and be open about what I was wanting and I am so happy with how my eyebrows turned out! Got my piercing here, the lady told me the wrong things. She said to use salt water to clean my piercing and a while has passed i was scared to change out my piercing myself and another piercer said that the salt water is clogging my tunnel, and it hurt really back to change out the piercing when it shouldve been healed by now.

Charles is the TRUTH!!! I NEVER thought I could get color on my skin that would show as well as it does. Ive gone to many artist and all except Charles told me color wouldnt show. Charles gave me more than my expectations. Hes free handed most of my tattoos, which they are AMAZING!! The other two I have I gave him a picture of exactly what I wanted and OF COARSE it looks better than the picture. Honestly I wouldnt choose another artist besides Charles, he NEVER disappoints and you can most definitely expect to receive the greatest experience when you book with him. I just got my first tattoo done by Tiffany at Inkmasters and it was such a great experience! I was comfortable the whole time and she made sure all of my needs were met. This was by far my favorite tattoo parlor. iv been to about 5 ,and this one really impressed me. Yesterday was my 4th visit here and my second to Chris Romero. Everything i have gotten is always better then i could have thought. Especially from Chris. Then details and how dark the ink stays after it heals, are just amazing. The price is WELL worth the art that you get. I have had some people tell me its pricey, but they also had tattoos from who I assume was a 10 year old who needed lunch money. Sooo yeah. If you ever need an awesome tattoo and want it to be the talk of the town, then come see Chris Romero.

Cyle and the guys are great! I got my first tattoo (a large sugar skull with marigolds on my thigh) last night and I couldnt have been more pleased. Ive been following Cyle for three years on Facebook since talking to him about a different tattoo idea (which Ill get done eventually). Today I went into their pristine shop alone, which can be a bit uncomfortable, especially as a woman in an unfamiliar area. Not so with the guys at this shop - everyone was professional and easygoing. Cyle listened to my ideas and drew up a beautiful original tattoo for me, which we promptly set about inking. He was adept at reassuring me, a tattoo virgin, without pressure or judgment. He was easy to converse with and patient with my incessant questions and constant shifting to find a comfortable position. The line work is fantastic, clean, and consistent and I cant wait for it to heal so we can add color! I already have my next appointment scheduled.The artwork by the other guys at the shop was also fantastic - cant recommend these gents enough!

I cant say enough good things about Cyle and Black Rose Tattoo. I have had work done by many artists in the DFW area and I can say that Cyle has been the best! He is attentive to his clients requests and will actually talk to you about your tattoo and the options available. The shop is clean and decorated nicely and inviting. I was impressed by Cyles willingness to talk with me about options to correct a tattoo that many other artists didnt seem to want to work on, he tackled this challenge like a true pro. The session was what I expected after meeting with him, he gets right to work and really focuses on you as the client. The biggest surprise for me was the lack of skin trauma the next morning, almost no seepage over night and almost no swelling! I think this is the mark of someone who has truly mastered their art. I will return to this shop time and time again, if I met Cyle earlier I would have more tattoos. 5 stars to you sir!

Cyle and Ashley have the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever personally set foot in. I chose their shop after seeing a friend of my husband and I had gone to him. I went to Cyle for my first tattoo that has a lot of sentimental value for me. He and Ashley were able to schedule me the same night that I had contacted him, and were quickly responsive through Facebook messenger (which is how I initially contacted the shop). When my husband and I showed up, Cyle was very professional and understanding of the fact that I was nervous because this was my first tattoo, and he and Ashley have a very relaxed environment which helped make me feel less anxious. He walked me through step by step of what was going to happen before he even touched my skin. He was very understanding when he placed my tattoo, and I asked him to move it to a different spot. He also completely went over with me what needle he was using and physically showed me that he was opening a brand new sterilized needle out of the package and showed me the sharps container that the needle would go in immediately after finishing my tattoo. A week later Cyle was able to schedule my husband for a tattoo and drew up exactly what my husband described to him. Cyle brought my husbands thought to reality and was able to create something really amazing. His prices are very reasonable, and his work is very clean and precise. It is definitely worth the drive to Waxahachie, youre truly getting the best tattoo artist Ive seen. Within two weeks of getting my tattoo I sent my manager, her husband, and a coworker, and her husband to Cyle for tattoos. I definitely will recommend Cyle to anyone I know that is interested in a tattoo, and I will personally only be going to Cyle for all of my husband and Is future work.

I extremely recommend this tattoo shop. The entire staff is cool as hell, but keep it 100% professional. The artist are constantly using new gloves and cleaning the area they are working in. I have been to a lot of shops and Ill never go anywhere else.
